1:9 Daca ne marturisim pacatele, El este credincios si drept, ca sa ne ierte pacatele si sa ne curateasca de orice nelegiuire. Marturisim. Gr. homologeo, ,,a spune acelasi lucru [ca altul]”, ,,a admite adevarul unei acuzatii” (vezi comentariul de la Romani 10,9), de la homos, ,,unul si acelasi” si lego, ,,a spune”. Pacatele. Gr. hamartiai (vezi comentariul de la cap. 3,4). Cuvintele lui Ioan sugereaza ca uneori chiar si crestini sinceri cad in pacat (vezi comentariul de la cap. 2,1). Este de asemenea evident ca este vorba despre pacate accidentale, nu despre o viata de pacat. De aceea, crestinul trebuie sa-si marturiseasca pe nume pacatul, nu doar sa-si admita pacatosenia. Spunerea pe nume a pacatului si intelegerea factorilor care au dus la comiterea lui sunt esentiale pentru marturisire si pentru a primi puterea de a rezista la o ispita similara (5T 639). Lipsa dispozitiei de a spune pacatului pe nume poate dovedi ca persoana respectiva nu este convertita cu adevarat si nu doreste sa aiba de-a face cu tot ceea ce implica iertarea (SC 41). In ce priveste legatura stransa dintre marturisire si pocainta, vezi comentariul de la Ezechiel 18,39; vezi 5T 640. Contextul arata ca autorul asteapta ca marturisirea sa-I fie facuta lui Dumnezeu, deoarece numai El ,,este credincios si drept ca sa ne ierte pacatele si sa ne curateasca de orice nelegiuire”. De aici reiese ca pentru a primi iertarea de pacate nu este necesar vreun intermediar omenesc, vreun preot. Noi venim la Dumnezeu nu numai pentru ca El singur poate sa ,,curateasca”, dar si pentru ca El este cel impotriva Caruia am pacatuit. Lucrul acesta este adevarat cu privire la orice pacat. Daca pacatul este comis si impotriva unei persoane, atunci acesta ar trebui marturisit atat acelei persoane cat si lui Dumnezeu (5T 645; 646; DA 811). Marturisirea ar trebui facuta conform cu daunele cauzate de fapta rea comisa (vezi comentariul de la Proverbe 28,13). El este credincios. Singurul element de incertitudine in procesul marturisirii si al iertarii se gaseste la pacatos. Daca el isi marturiseste sincer nelegiuirea, Domnul il va ierta cu siguranta. Credinciosia este una din insusirile distincte ale lui Dumnezeu (1 Corinteni 1,9; 10,13; 1 Tesaloniceni 5,24; 2 Timotei 2,13; Evrei 10,23). Aici Ioan subliniaza credinciosia lui Dumnezeu in privinta iertarii (vezi comentariul de la Exodul 34,6.7; Mica 7,19). Cat de adesea cei care pun la indoiala credinciosia lui Dumnezeu pierd din inima pacea! Satana face tot ce ii sta in putinta pentru a ne zdrobi credinta in grija Domnului pentru noi (MB 115). Cel rau se multumeste sa ne faca sa credem ca Dumnezeu Se ingrijeste de multi sau de cei mai multi din copiii Sai, dar nu si de noi personal. Trebuie sa ne aducem neincetat aminte de puterea divina, care ne va feri sa cadem (Iuda 24) si cand cadem, ca urmare a faptului ca am neglijat sa folosim acea putere, ar trebui sa venim, in pocainta, la scaunul indurarii, ca sa primim har si iertare (compara cu Evrei 4,16; 1 Ioan 2,1). Drept. Gr. dikaios, ,,drept” sau ,,neprihanit” (vezi comentariul de la Matei 1,19). Dumnezeu este un judecator drept, iar dreptatea Lui este cat se poate de vizibila in contrast cu ,,toata nelegiuirea [adikia] noastra”. Din fericire pentru noi, dreptatea Lui este indulcita cu indurare. Ierte. Gr. aphiemi, folosit in Noul Testament cu diferite intelesuri: ,,a trimite”, ,,a lasa sa plece”, ,,a parasi”, ,,a ierta”. Cand verbul acesta este folosit alaturi de cuvantul ,,pacat”, e tradus de obicei ,,a ierta” (vezi comentariul de la Matei 6,12; 26,28). Tocmai in privinta iertarii isi gasesc expresia credinciosia si dreptatea lui Dumnezeu. In ce priveste subiectul iertarii, vezi comentariul de la 2 Cronici 7,14; Psalm 32,1; Faptele Apostolilor 3,19. Pacatele. Adica acele pacate care au fost marturisite. Domnul este gata sa-l ierte pe pacatosul care se pocaieste, desi nu poate sa-i ierte pacatele in sensul de a le trece cu vederea. Pacatele marturisite sunt purtate de Mielul lui Dumnezeu (Ioan 1,29). Iubirea plina de mila a lui Dumnezeu il primeste pe pacatosul care se pocaieste, pacatul marturisit este luat de la el, iar pacatosul sta inaintea Domnului acoperit cu viata desavarsita a lui Hristos (Coloseni 3,3.9.10; COL 311, 312). Pacatul este sters, iar pacatosul sta ca un om nou in Hristos Isus. Si sa ne curateasca. Sau ,,si chiar sa curateasca”. Propozitia ,,sa ne curateasca de orice nelegiuire” poate fi inteleasa fie in apozitie cu propozitia ,,ca sa ne ierte pacatele”, deci este explicativa, fie ca prezentand un proces distinct fata de cel al iertarii, pe care il succede. Ambele idei sunt valabile daca sunt aplicate la viata de crestin. Orice pacat intineaza, iar cand pacatosul este iertat, el e curatit de pacatele pentru care a fost iertat. Cand si-a marturisit marele sau pacatul, David s-a rugat: ,,Zideste in mine o inima curata, Dumnezeule” (Psalmi 51,10). Totusi, Domnul vrea sa-l curete pe pacatosul care se pocaieste de orice nelegiuire. El cere de la copiii Sai desavarsire morala (vezi comentariul de la Matei 5,48) si a luat masuri prin care ei sa poata rezista cu succes si sa poata birui orice pacat (vezi comentariul de la Romani 8,1–4). Atata vreme cat traieste, crestinul va avea mereu noi biruinte de castigat si noi culmi de atins. Procesul acesta de curatire de pacat si de crestere zilnica in har este numit sfintire (vezi comentariul de la Romani 6,19). Primul pas, prin care pacatosul se intoarce de la pacatele sale si Il primeste pe Hristos, se numeste indreptatire (vezi comentariul de la Romani 5,1). Se pot observa in cuvintele lui Ioan doua procese, dar e de discutat daca apostolul a intentionat o astfel de analiza amanuntita a acestor pasi ai procesului de mantuire. Este mai probabil ca se gandea la curatirea care insoteste iertarea, desi cuvintele lui pot fi aplicate si intr-un sens mai larg. De orice nelegiuire. Aceasta expresie cuprinzatoare arata ca Dumnezeu e dispus sa inlature complet nelegiuirile celor care si-au marturisit pacatele si au fost iertati. Dar pacatosul trebuie sa conlucreze cu Dumnezeu, parasind pacatul. Daca va urma solutia oferita de Scriptura, va fi curatit pe deplin. Se cere veghere atenta si rugaciune continua pentru ca vechile obiceiuri in gandire si purtare sa nu revina la viata (Romani 6,11–13; 1 Corinteni 9,27). Vointa are un rol decisiv, dar ea este slaba si nestatornica daca nu e curatita si intarita de Hristos. Inima inselatoare nutreste adesea dorinta ascunsa de a urma vechiul stil de viata si gaseste multe scuze pentru a justifica satisfacerea in continuare a unei dorinte. Pentru a trai o viata lipsita de pacat sunt necesare o vigilenta constanta si o reinnoire zilnica a intentiilor (SC 52), deoarece Cerul nu poate face nimic pentru un om pana cand el nu accepta harul si puterea lui Hristos in vederea renuntarii la orice dorinta si tendinta pacatoasa din viata sa. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
