19:1 Cap. 17 - Adevărata convertire 19:2 "Vă voi stropi cu apă curată, şi veţi fi curăţiţi; vă voi curăţi de toate spurcăciunile voastre şi de toţi idolii voştri. Vă voi da o inimă nouă, şi voi pune în voi un duh nou; voi scoate din trupul vostru inima de piatră, şi vă voi da o inimă de carne." 19:3 Mulţi dintre cei care le vorbesc altora de nevoia de a avea o inimă nouă, nu ştiu ei înşişi ce înseamnă aceste cuvinte. În special tinerii se poticnesc de această expresie: "o inimă nouă", neştiind ce înseamnă. Ei aşteaptă ca o schimbare specială să aibă loc în sentimentele lor. Aceasta este ceea ce numesc ei convertire. Făcând această eroare, mulţi s-au împotmolit şi au ajuns la ruină, neînţelegând expresia: "Trebuie să ne naştem din nou." 19:4 Nu sentimente, ci o viaţă schimbată 19:5 Satana îi conduce pe oameni să creadă că, deoarece ei au simţit extazul, sunt convertiţi. Dar experienţa lor nu se schimbă. Faptele lor sunt aceleaşi ca şi mai înainte. Viaţa lor nu produce roade mai bune. Ei se roagă adesea şi îndelung şi se referă constant la sentimentele pe care le-au avut la un moment dat sau la altul. Dar ei nu trăiesc o viaţă nouă şi sunt înşelaţi. Experienţa lor nu este mai profundă decât sentimentele lor. Ei clădesc pe nisip şi, când vin vânturi potrivnice, casa lor este dărâmată. 19:6 Multe suflete nenorocite bâjbâie în întuneric, căutând 19:7 sentimentele pe care alţii au spus că le-au experimentat. Ei trec peste faptul că cel care crede în Hristos trebuie să lucreze pentru propria-i salvare cu teamă şi cutremur. Păcătosul condamnat are ceva de făcut. El trebuie să se căiască şi să înceapă să arate credinţa adevărată. 19:8 Când vorbeşte de o inimă nouă, Isus înţelege prin aceasta mintea, viaţa, întregul fel de a fi. Pentru a-ţi schimba inima, trebuie să laşi deoparte dragostea pentru lume şi să-L iubeşti pe Hristos. A avea o inimă nouă înseamnă a avea o minte nouă, scopuri şi motivaţii noi. Care este semnul unei inimi noi? O viaţă transformată. Este o trăire neegoistă şi fără mândrie zi cu zi şi oră de oră. 19:9 Practicarea religiei adevărate 19:10 Unii fac o mare greşeală presupunând că o profesie înaltă va compensa lipsa slujirii adevărate. Dar o religie nepracticată nu este o religie veritabilă. Convertirea adevărată ne face cinstiţi până la cel mai mic amănunt în tranzacţiile noastre cu cei din jur. Ne face credincioşi în munca noastră de zi cu zi. Fiecare urmaş sincer al lui Hristos va arăta că religia Bibliei îl califică să-şi folosească talentele în slujba Stăpânului. 19:11 "În sârguinţă, fiţi fără preget." Aceste cuvinte vor fi împlinite în viaţa oricărui creştin adevărat. Chiar dacă munca voastră pare a fi o corvoadă, o puteţi înnobila prin modul în care o executaţi. Faceţi-o ca şi cum Dumnezeu S-ar afla în faţa voastră. Faceţi-o cu voioşie şi cu demnitatea unor fii ai cerului. Principiile nobile sunt cele care, aduse în lucrare, o fac în întregime acceptabilă în faţa lui Dumnezeu. Lucrarea adevărată leagă 19:12 micimea slujitorilor lui Dumnezeu de pe pământ cu înălţimea slujitorilor din locurile cereşti... 19:13 Ca fii şi fiice ai lui Dumnezeu, creştinii ar trebui să se străduiască să atingă idealul înalt pus înaintea lor de Evanghelie. Ei nu ar trebui să fie mulţumiţi până nu devin desăvârşiţi, pentru că Hristos spune: "Voi fiţi dar desăvârşiţi, după cum şi Tatăl vostru cel ceresc este desăvârşit." 19:14 Viaţa sfinţită 19:15 Să facem din Cuvântul sfânt al lui Dumnezeu studiul nostru, aducând principiile sale sfinte în viaţa noastră. Să umblăm înaintea lui Dumnezeu cu blândeţe şi umilinţă, corectând zilnic greşelile pe care le facem. Să nu fim mândri şi egoişti şi să nu ne separăm sufletul de Dumnezeu. Să nu cultivaţi un sentiment de supremaţie, crezându-vă mai buni ca alţii. "Astfel dar, cine crede că stă în picioare, să ia seama să nu cadă." Pacea şi odihna vor fi cu voi, dacă vă aduceţi voinţa în subordonare faţă de voinţa lui Hristos. Atunci dragostea lui Hristos va conduce inima, aducând în captivitate faţă de Mântuitor izvoarele secrete al acţiunii. Temperamentul repezit şi uşuratic va fi domolit şi atenuat prin revărsarea uleiului harului lui Hristos. Sentimentul că păcatele îţi sunt iertate îţi va aduce pacea ce depăşeşte orice pricepere. Discordia va dispărea. Cel ce găsea cusur celor din jurul său va vedea că greşeli mult mai mari există în propriul său caracter. 19:16 Aceştia sunt cei ce ascultă adevărul şi sunt convinşi că au trăit în opoziţie cu Hristos. Ei sunt condamnaţi şi se căiesc de 19:17 păcatele lor. Bizuindu-se pe meritele lui Hristos, exercitând adevărata credinţă în El, ei primesc iertare pentru aceste păcate. Când încetează să mai facă rău şi învaţă să facă bine, ei cresc în har şi cunoştinţă. Ei văd că trebuie să se sacrifice ca să se îndepărteze de lume şi, cântărind preţul, consideră totul ca o pierdere care poate fi recuperată prin Hristos. Ei s-au înrolat în armata lui Hristos. Câmpul de bătălie este înaintea lor şi ei intră în el plini de curaj şi cu veselie, luptând contra înclinaţiilor lor naturale şi a dorinţelor egoiste, aducându-şi voinţa în subordonare faţă de Hristos. Ei Îl caută zilnic pe Domnul pentru favoarea de a I se supune fiind astfel întăriţi şi ajutaţi. Aceasta este adevărata convertire. În umilinţă şi dependenţă adevărată, cel ce a primit o inimă nouă se bizuie pe ajutorul lui Hristos. El descoperă în viaţa sa roadele îndreptăţirii. Odată el s-a iubit pe sine. Plăcerile lumeşti au fost plăcerea lui! Acum idolul său a fost detronat şi Dumnezeu a devenit ţinta supremă. Păcatele pe care odată le-a iubit, acum le urăşte. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
