1:9 Să spele cu apă măruntaiele şi picioarele; şi preotul să le ardă toate pe altar. Aceasta este o ardere de tot, o jertfă mistuită de foc, de un miros plăcut Domnului. Să spele cu apă. În armonie cu regula că nimic necurat nu trebuie să ajungă pe altar, sau să fie folosit în slujba lui Dumnezeu, măruntaiele şi picioarele erau spălate în apă, înainte ca jertfa să fie aşezată pe altar. S-ar putea argumenta uşor că acest act nu era necesar, întrucât focul avea să consume în curând jertfa şi orice necurăţie avea să fie distrusă. Atunci, de ce să se piardă timp cu spălarea bucăţilor animalului? Acest act, de asemenea, trebuie să-i fi impresionat adânc pe toţi cu sfinţenia lui Dumnezeu şi ura Lui faţă de dezordine şi orice lucru care mânjeşte. De fapt, orice faptă, fiecare ceremonie aducea învăţătura sfinţeniei lucrării lui Dumnezeu, sfinţenia caracterului Lui. Preotul să le ardă toate. Aceasta avea o singură excepţie: pielea nu era arsă, ci dată preotului (cap.7,8). Nu ni se spune de ce s-a făcut această excepţie. De un miros plăcut. Arderile de tot din capitolul 1 nu erau jertfe obligatorii, ci de bună voie, pe care aducătorul le aducea pentru că simţea nevoia după Dumnezeu şi dorea să-şi arate aprecierea pentru bunătatea Domnului. Prin aducerea jertfei, el îşi exprima iubirea faţă de Dumnezeu şi consacrarea în slujba Lui. Arderile de tot erau aduse în multe ocazii şi reprezentau consacrare şi recunoştinţă faţă de Dumnezeu. Ele nu cereau o favoare deosebită, ci exprimau gratitudine pentru îndurările din trecut. Ele erau aduse pentru curăţirea de lepră (cap. 14,19.20), pentru curăţirea unei femei la naşterea copilului (cap. 12,6-8), precum şi pentru necurăţie în general (cap. 15,15.30). În multe cazuri, jertfa pentru păcat era însoţită de arderea de tot, dar nu întotdeauna. Când jertfa pentru păcat şi arderea de tot erau aduse de aceeaşi persoană, în primul rând venea jertfa pentru păcat şi era pentru un păcat sau păcate specifice; arderea de tot era pentru păcătoşenie în general fără referire la un păcat anumit. Arderile de tot au un loc însemnat în consacrarea lui Aaron şi a fiilor lui (Exod 29,15-25; Levitic 8,18), ca şi în instalarea lor în preoţie (Levitic 9,12-14). Ele mai erau folosite la juruinţele Nazireului (Numeri 6,13-16). În aceste cazuri, ele constituiau o deplină consacrare a individului faţă de Dumnezeu. În ele, aducătorul se aşeza în mod simbolic pe altar, consacrându-şi întreaga viaţă în slujba lui Dumnezeu. Jertfele erau rugăciuni întrupate. Considerate astfel, ele aveau o semnificaţie adâncă. Dacă un creştin cade în ispită şi comite un păcat, el îşi mărturiseşte smerit păcatul şi cere iertare. Adevăratul israelit făcea acelaşi lucru, dar ca adaos mai aducea pentru păcatul special o jertfă pentru păcat. Dacă aducea şi o jertfă a arderii de tot, prin aceasta spunea: ,,Doamne, poate că eu am făcut şi alte lucruri neplăcute Ţie. Nu-mi dau seama că le-am făcut, dar iartă-mă cu îndurare acolo unde poate că am păcătuit”. Când înălţăm astăzi rugăciunea aceasta, noi facem ce făcea israelitul când aducea jertfa arderii de tot a lui. Expresia lui Pavel din Romani 12,1: ,,aduceţi trupurile voastre ca o jertfă vie” este o referire la vechile arderi de tot. Noi trebuie să fim consacraţi pe deplin lui Dumnezeu. Trebuie să fim curăţiţi pe deplin. Numai după ce arderea de tot era spălată şi curată, putea să fie adusă pe altar ,,o jertfă mistuită de foc, de un miros plăcut Domnului”. Aşa este şi cu noi. Toate păcatele, toată murdăria cărnii şi a spiritului trebuie să fie îndepărtată înainte de a fi potrivite pentru altar (2 Corinteni 7,1). Arderea de tot este un simbol al lui Hristos, care S-a consacrat întru totul lui Dumnezeu, lăsând pentru noi un exemplu de urmat. Ea învaţă sfinţirea deplină, dedicarea completă. Este bine plasată ca prima în lista jertfelor din Levitic. Ea ne spune, fără îndoială, că pentru a fi de un miros plăcut lui Dumnezeu, o jertfă trebuie să fie întru totul supusă. Totul trebuie să fie pus pe altar, totul trebuie să fie consacrat lui Dumnezeu. După cum jertfa trebuia să fie fără cusur, tot aşa şi Hristos este ,,Mielul fără cusur şi fără prihană”. Cel întru totul plin de iubire, Cel Sfânt, care ,,ne-a iubit şi S-a dat pe Sine pentru noi”, ,,ca un prinos şi ca o jertfă de bun miros lui Dumnezeu” (1 Petru 1,19; Efeseni 5,2). Arderea de tot era plăcută lui Dumnezeu pentru că descoperea o dorinţă în inima aducătorului de a se consacra lui Dumnezeu. Aducând jertfa el spunea de fapt, ,,Doamne, doresc să-Ţi slujesc Ţie. M-am aşezat pe altar nepăstrând nimic pentru mine. Primeşte-mă prin Înlocuitor şi de dragul Lui”. O astfel de atitudine este plăcută lui Dumnezeu. Arderile de tot din cap.1 au fost ,,de un miros plăcut” Domnului, pentru că erau cu totul de bunăvoie. Creştinii sunt în pericol să facă o lucrare care în ea însăşi este bună şi dreaptă, dar nu din cauza unui îndemn lăuntric sau din iubire, ci pentru că aşa este obiceiul sau pentru că aşa se aşteaptă să facă. Datoria este un cuvânt mare şi trebuie să fie accentuat, dar nu trebuie să uităm că iubirea este şi mai mare şi, dacă este aplicată aşa cum trebuie, ea împlineşte datoria deoarece include datoria. Iubirea este de bună voie, spontană, liberă, datoria este exigentă, obligatorie. În viaţa creştină este nevoie de amândouă, şi nici una nu trebuie să fie subliniată spre excluderea celeilalte. Datoria împlineşte Lege. Şi iubirea împlineşte Legea, dar ea merge mai departe. Ea mai merge şi mila a doua. Ea dă şi haina. ,,Pe cine dă cu bucurie îl iubeşte Dumnezeu” (2 Corinteni 9,7). Unii ar înlocui pe ,,cu bucurie” cu ,,generos”, ceea ce probabil că ar fi adevărat şi aşa. Dar textul spune ”cu bucurie”. El se referă la cineva care dă de bună voie, care nu trebuie să fie îndemnat, ci îşi face cu bucurie partea sa. Acest lucru Îi este plăcut Domnului. Spiritul acesta este simbolizat în arderea de tot. Ar fi plăcut pentru Dumnezeu dacă spiritul de slujire cu bucurie şi fericire ar fi mai obişnuit decât este. Adesea facem cu resemnare, poate chiar cu murmurare, ce ar trebui să facem cu nerăbdare şi într-un spirit de fericire. Dumnezeu iubeşte dătătorul voios, nu numai de bani, ci şi de slujire. Există sarcini de îndeplinit, dar El ar avea o şi mai mare plăcere, dacă le-am face de bunăvoie şi fără murmur. Sunt unii care trebuie să fie încurajaţi, mustraţi, îndemnaţi şi aproape recompensaţi, ca să facă ceva ce ar trebui să facă plini de bucurie şi bunăvoinţă (vezi Isaia 64,7; Maleahi 1,10). O atitudine nepăsătoare şi dorinţa de răsplată nemulţumeşte atât pe oameni, cât şi pe Dumnezeu. Este descurajator pentru conducători să mustre serios şi repetat şi să primească doar un răspuns slab. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
