5:4 Voi, care voiţi să fiţi socotiţi neprihăniţi prin Lege, v-aţi despărţit de Hristos; aţi căzut din har. Socotiţi neprihăniţi prin lege. [,,Îndreptăţiţi prin Lege,” KJV]. Adică, îşi închipuiseră că pot dobândi dreptatea prin lucrarea legii (vezi p. 933, vezi Rom 3:20; Gal 3:19.24). Ce poate cel mai mult să facă ,,legea” este de a arăta omului nevoia lui de îndreptăţire şi să-i arate calea lui Hristos. În Evanghelia sa Pavel prezentase planul lui Dumnezeu pentru mântuirea omului. Este acelaşi plan pe temeiul căruia Avraam primise îndreptăţirea (vezi Ga. 3:6). Numai după ce fusese declarat drept primise el ritualul circumciziei. Circumcizia – una din ,,faptele legii” – nu a adus neprihănirea. Ea era un semn că Avraam primise neprihănirea prin credinţă (vezi Rom 4:7-11). ,,Faptele” pe care Pavel le recomandă mai târziu sunt ,,roadele Duhului” (cap. 5:22), şi în felul acesta dovada puterii lui Hristos spre mântuire (Rom 1:16), dar în nici un caz mijloc de a-şi dobândi prin merite mântuirea. V-aţi despărţit. [,,A devenit fără folos,” KJV; ,,V-aţi prăbuşit,” G. Galaction]. Sau ,,aţi rupt legăturile cu,” ,,aţi făcut nelucrătoare.” Angajarea în legământ cere credinţă absolută din partea credinciosului (vezi vers. 9). Acela care amestecă neprihănirea prin fapte cu credinţa, calcă prin aceasta partea sa din înţelegere, şi Hristos în felul acesta este eliberat de orice obligaţie faţă de el. ,,Faptele” sunt o tăgăduire a credinţei. Galatenii se numeau pe sine creştini; de fapt, ei fuseseră convinşi că numai aceia care primeau ,,legea” puteau fi adevăraţi creştini. Dar prin felul lor de purtare ei tăgăduiau chiar lucrul acela pe care Hristos venise să-l facă pentru ei, şi se lipsiseră de meritele Lui. Dacă puteau, cu adevărat, să câştige mântuirea prin merite personale, ce nevoie mai aveau ei de Hristos? Lucrarea Lui în favoarea lor ar fi devenit nenecesară, deoarece găsiseră o cale de îndreptăţire înaintea lui Dumnezeu în propria lor favoare. Dacă puteau găsi îndreptăţirea în afară de Hristos, atunci nu aveau nevoie de El. Dar Isus declarase că nimeni nu putea veni al Tatăl decât numai prin El (Ioan 14:6; cf. Fapte 4:12). Accentul lui Isus asupra adevărului că El este ,,calea” e atât de proeminent în învăţăturile Lui încât în anii de mai târziu urmaşii Lui se numeau oamenii ,,căii” (vezi Fapte 9:2; 22:4). Căzut din har. Literal, ,,a căzut afară din har,” ,,a căzut jos în har.” În ce priveşte înţelesul lui ,,har” vezi Rom 3:24. Galatenii primiseră Duhul lui Dumnezeu (cap. 3:2.3), ei experimentaseră îndreptăţirea prin credinţă (cap. 1:6) se bucuraseră faptic de libertatea Evangheliei (cap. 5:1), ,,alergaseră bine” pentru un timp (vers. 7). Dacă acum căutarea mântuirii prin ,,faptele legii” (vezi cap. 2:16) urmau să piardă dreptul la harul lui Hristos de care se bucuraseră până acum (vezi cap. 5:1-4; la cap. 3:19). Aceste două metode de a dobândi îndreptăţirea sunt mutual exclusive. A adopta pe una însemna a respinge pe cealaltă. Poziţia pe care o iau unii, că Pavel aici afirmă retragerea arbitrară de către Dumnezeu a harului din cauza unor anumite păcate e fără de temei biblic. Pierderea favorii divine rezultă de pe urma actului voluntar al celui care pierde dreptul la el. Dumnezeu nu exclude pe nimeni de la binecuvântările mântuirii cu excepţia acelora care se exclud singuri(vezi Exo 18:23.31; 33:11; 2Pet 3:9; vezi Ioan 3:17-20; Efes 1:4-6). Contextul afirmaţiei arată clar că răspunderea revine acelora care în mod deliberat leapădă mântuirea prin credinţă pentru a căuta mântuirea prin fapte. Nu e o chestiune de părăsirea oamenilor de către Dumnezeu, ci de abatere a oamenilor de la El şi refuzarea ofertelor Lui pline de îndurare. Dumnezeu oferă iertarea tuturor acelora care se vor abate de la căile lor îndărătnice (vezi Ioan 3;16; 1Ioan 1:9). Cineva care a căzut din harul lui Dumnezeu este totdeauna – şi numai – cineva care în mod încăpăţânat a ales un fel de purtare de care ştie că e contrară voii lui Dumnezeu. Aceasta este starea deplorabilă a multor zişi creştini de astăzi. Această stare este rezultatul dorinţei de a urma înclinaţiile naturale ale inimii naturale – de a se bucura de plăcerile păcatului – în loc de a lua seama la îndemnurile Duhului lui Dumnezeu. Atâta timp cât atari persoane nu săvârşesc păcatul de neiertat prin respingerea persistentă a îndemnurilor Duhului (vezi Mat 12:31.32.43-45), mai e nădejde ca ei să fie repuşi în har. Pavel combate aici în mod specific şi emfatic o altă învăţătură populară dar cu totul nebiblică de obicei exprimată în cuvintele: ,,odată în har, totdeauna în har.” Aceasta, la rândul ei e întemeiată pe altă învăţătură nebiblică potrivit căreia Dumnezeu a predestinat anumite persoane să fie mântuite şi pe altele să fie pierdute indiferent de propria lor alegere. În ce priveşte o tratare a adevăratei naturi a predestinaţiei biblice vezi Ioan 3:17-20; Efes 1:4-6. Potrivit cu concepţia populară a predestinaţiei, aceia pe care i-a ales Dumnezeu spre mântuire nu e posibil să cadă din harul divin deoarece dreptul lor le-a fost garantat de Dumnezeu. Printr-un raţionament prin analogie aceia pe care Dumnezeu i-a predestinat să fie osândiţi nu pot ajunge la harul divin, şi în consecinţă nu pot cădea din el. Corolară la aceasta este concluzia că aceia care par să fi căzut din har numai par să fi făcut aşa ceva, deoarece ei niciodată nu au ajuns la el. E suficient de a spune că numai scoţând cuvintele din Gal 5:4 cu totul afară din contextul lor e cu putinţă de a le face să pară că susţin o astfel de concluzie (vezi vers. 1-4). În realitate, teoria aceasta – teoria aşa numită a decretelor divine – trece cu vederea toate afirmaţiile lămurite din Scriptură care atrag atenţia la voinţa omului ca la factorul decisiv în mântuirea oricărui om şi a tuturor oamenilor. Vezi pasaje de felul acesta ca Isa 55:1; Eze 18:21-30; 33:12.13; Luc 5:32; Ioan 6:37; cf. Ioan 7:37; 12:32; Rom 10:13; 11:20-23; 1Cor 9:27; Apoc 22:17. Doctrina că Dumnezeu predestinează pe unii oameni la mântuire şi pe alţii la nimicire, indiferent de alegerea lor, e clar incompatibilă cu aceste afirmaţii ale Sfintei Scripturi. În felul acesta învăţătura corolară că un om nu poate cădea din har – că atunci când odată e ,,în har” e ,,pentru totdeauna în har” se dovedeşte a fi o invenţie omenească. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
