9:21 pe când vorbeam eu încă în rugăciunea mea, a venit repede în zbor iute, omul Gabriel, pe care-l văzusem mai înainte într-o vedenie, şi m-a atins în clipa când se aducea jertfa de seară. Gavril. Sau ,,Gabriel”. Vezi cap. 8,15.16. Aceasta este aceeaşi fiinţă care explica primele trei părţi ale viziunii cap. 8. El revine acum cu gândul să termine lucrarea ce-i fusese încredinţată. Unii comentatori au trecut cu vederea strânsa legătură care este între cap. 8 şi 9, şi prin urmare n-au înţeles nici legătura dintre cele ,,2300 de zile” ale cap. 8 şi cele 70 de ,,săptămâni” ale cap. 9. Contextul, totuşi, necesită tocmai legătura aceasta, după cum se dovedeşte prin cele ce urmează: 1. 1. Toate simbolurile viziunii din cap. 8,2-14 sunt explicate pe deplin în v. 15-26 cu excepţia celor 2300 de ,,zile” din versetele 13 şi 14 (vezi GC 325). În realitate toate cele din versetele 13 şi 14 sunt explicate în versetele 24 şi 25 cu excepţia perioadei de timp implicate. În v. 26 Gabriel menţionează perioada timp, dar îşi întrerupe explicaţia înainte de a spune ceva despre ea (vezi nr. 3, mai jos). 2. 2. Daniel ştia că cei 70 de ani de captivitate prezişi de profetul Ieremia aproape trecuseră (cap. 9,2; vezi Vol. III, p. 90-92; 94-97; vezi comentariul la Ieremia 25,11). 3. 3. Daniel nu înţelesese perioada de timp a celor 2300 de zile, singura parte a viziunii care încă nu fusese explicată (cap. 8,27; vezi nr. 1 de mai sus) şi evident se temea că aceasta implica o extindere a captivităţii şi continuarea pustiirii sanctuarului (vezi cap. 9,19). El ştia că făgăduinţa restaurării era condiţionată de pocăinţă sinceră a lui Israel (SL 48; vezi Vol. III, p. 34). 4. 4. Perspectiva teribilei persecuţii în cursul celor 2300 de ,,zile” (Daniel 8,10-13,23-25), s-a dovedit mai mult decât putea suporta bătrânul Daniel, şi ca urmare el ,,a stat leşinat şi bolnav mai multe zile” (cap. 8,27; GC 325). Din cauza aceasta îngerul a întrerup explicaţia viziunii la data aceea. 5. 5. În intervalului care a urmat până la întoarcerea îngerului (cap. 9,21) Daniel s-a îndreptat către profeţiile lui Ieremia pentru a ajunge la o înţelegere mai clară a scopului divin cu Captivitatea (vezi Vol. III, p. 31), mai ales cu privire la cei 70 de ani (cap. 9,2). 6. 6. Ajungând la concluzia că abaterile lui Israel ca naţiune purtau răspunderea pentru ceea ce evident părea o prelungire a celor 70 de ani (vezi nr. 3 de mai sus), Daniel a mijlocit cu cea mai mare căldură la Dumnezeu pentru iertare, pentru întoarcerea exilaţilor captivi, şi pentru rezidirea sanctuarului din Ierusalim, acum pustiu (vezi cap. 9,13-19). Rugăciunea lui se încheie cu o repetare a cererii ca Dumnezeu să ,,ierte” păcatele naţiunii şi să nu ,,zăbovească” în împlinirea făgăduinţei de refacere (v. 19). 7. 7. Observaţi îndeosebi că partea nelămurită a viziunii din cap. 8 prezisese că ,,sfântul Locaş şi oştirea” urmau să fie ,,călcate în picioare” (v. 13, 14, 24) timp de 2300 de ,,zile”. În rugăciunea sa, Daniel Îl roagă pe Dumnezeu ca timpul rânduit pentru Captivitate să nu fie prelungit (vezi v. 16-19). O comparaţie atentă a rugăciunii din cap. 9 cu problema din cap. 8 arată clar şi dincolo de orice îndoială că Daniel avea în minte această chestiune atunci când se ruga. El credea că vedenia celor 2300 de ,,zile” cu privire la sanctuar şi persecutarea poporului lui Dumnezeu ar însemna implicit că Dumnezeu va ,,zăbovi” cu refacerea (cap. 9,19). 8. 8. Ca răspuns la rugăciunea aceasta, Gabriel, care fusese însărcinat să interpreteze vedenia din cap. 8 (cap. 8,15-19) dar care încă nu completase explicaţia (vezi nr. 4, de mai sus) l-a salutat pe Daniel cu înştiinţarea: ,,Am venit acum să-ţi luminez mintea” (cap. 9,22). 1. 9. Explicaţia dată în cap. 9,24-27 este exact răspunsul Cerului la rugăciunea lui Daniel (v. 23), şi soluţia la problema cu privire la care el se ruga (vezi nr. 6 şi 7 de mai sus). Comparaţi porunca iniţială dată lui Gabriel de a-i explica lui Daniel vedenia (cap. 8,16) cu înnoirea acestei porunci în timpul rugăciunii lui Daniel (cap. 9,23), şi porunca dată de Gabriel lui Daniel de a lua ,,aminte” şi a ,,înţelege” (cap. 8,17.19), cu expresii similare din cap. 9,23. 2. 10. Notaţi îndeosebi că lui Daniel i s-a spus: ,,ia aminte la cuvântul acesta şi înţelege vedenia” (cap. 9,23), adică, viziunea pe care o avusese ,,mai înainte” (v. 21). Aceste cuvinte nu se pot referi la viziunea din cap. 8,2-14, întrucât nici o altă viziune nu mai fusese dată de la aceea. Comparaţi cuvintele ,,tâlcuieşte-i vedenia” (cap. 8,16) cu ,,înţelege vedenia” (cap. 9,23). 3. 11. În felul acesta contextul precizează dincolo de orice posibilitate de îndoială că explicaţia din cap. 9,24-27 este o continuare şi o completare a explicaţiei începută în cap. 8,15-26, şi că explicaţia din cap. 9,24-27 se ocupă exclusiv de porţiunea neexplicată a vedeniei, adică, cu perioada de timp a celor 2300 de ,,zile” ale cap. 8,13.14. Îngerul este Gabriel în ambele cazuri (cap. 8,16; 9,21), subiectul este identic, iar contextul arată că partea finală a explicaţiei reia firul explicaţiei de la punctul de unde fusese întreruptă în cap. 8. Repede. Cât de plină de mângâiere este cunoaşterea faptului că cerul este aproape de pământ. Ori de câte ori avem nevoie de ajutor şi îl cerem, Domnul însărcinează un înger sfânt să vină în ajutorul nostru fără zăbavă. M-a atins. Ebr. maga’, care ar putea să însemne doar ,,a ajuns” sau ,,s-a apropiat”. Nu putem fi siguri care sens este intenţionat aici. Jertfa. Ebr. minchah. În legea levitică acesta este cuvântul obişnuit pentru ,,jertfa de grâu” (sau ,,jertfa de mâncare”). O jertfă specială din făină de grâu însoţea arderea de tot de dimineaţa şi de seara (vezi Numeri 28,3-8), Evident că Daniel se ruga pe vremea când se aducea jertfa de seară la Templu. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
