53:1 Cap. 51 - A doua solie ingereasca 53:2 Bisericile care au refuzat sa primeasca prima solie ingereasca au respins lumina din cer. Aceasta solie le-a fost trimisa in mila, ca sa le trezeasca sa-si vada adevarata conditie a spiritului lumesc si a caderii de la credinta si sa caute sa se pregateasca pentru intalnirea cu Domnul lor. 53:3 Prima solie ingereasca a fost data tocmai pentru a desparti biserica lui Hristos de influentele degradante ale lumii; dar legaturile cu care oamenii, chiar pretinsii crestini, erau prinsi de pamant au fost mai puternice decat atractia spre cer. Ei au ales sa asculte de glasul intelepciunii omenesti si au intors spatele soliei cercetatoare de inima a adevarului. 53:4 Dumnezeu da lumina ca sa fie apreciata si ascultata, nu dispretuita si respinsa. Lumina pe care El o trimite devine intuneric pentru cei care o neglijeaza. Cand Duhul lui Dumnezeu nu mai impresioneaza inimile oamenilor cu adevarul, toata auzirea si toata predicarea sunt zadarnice. 53:5 Cand bisericile au nesocotit sfatul lui Dumnezeu, respingand solia adventa, si Domnul le-a respins pe ele. Primul inger a fost urmat de un al doilea, proclamand: "A cazut, a cazut Babilonul, cetatea cea mare care a adapat toate neamurile din vinul maniei curviei ei." Apocalipsa 14,8. Adventistii au inteles aceasta solie ca fiind anuntul 53:6 decaderii morale a bisericilor, rezultata in urma respingerii primei solii. Strigarea: "A cazut Babilonul" a fost data in vara anului 1844 si in consecinta din aceste biserici s-au retras vreo cincizeci de mii de persoane. 53:7 Cei care au predicat prima solie nu au avut ca scop si nici nu s-au asteptat sa provoace divizari in biserici sau sa formeze organizatii separate. William Miller spunea: "In toate eforturile mele, nu am avut niciodata dorinta sau gandul sa intemeiez vreo denominatiune separata de cele existente sau sa aduc vreun beneficiu uneia pe seama alteia. M-am gandit sa aduc beneficii tuturor. Crezand ca toti crestinii se vor bucura de perspectiva venirii lui Hristos si ca aceia care nu vad lucrurile cum le vad eu nu-i vor iubi mai putin pe cei care vor imbratisa aceasta doctrina, nu mi-am inchipuit ca vor fi necesare vreodata intalniri separate. Intreaga mea preocupare a fost dorinta de a converti sufletele la Dumnezeu, de a anunta lumea despre judecata ce vine si de a-i convinge pe semenii mei sa caute acea pregatire a inimii care ii va face in stare sa-L intampine in pace pe Dumnezeul lor. Marea majoritate a celor convertiti datorita lucrarii mele s-a unit cu diferitele biserici existente. Cand oamenii veneau sa ma intrebe cu privire la datoria lor, le spuneam intotdeauna sa mearga acolo unde se simt acasa si nu am favorizat niciodata vreo denominatiune in sfaturile pe care le-am dat." 53:8 Pentru un timp, multe biserici i-au primit bine lucrarea, dar pe masura ce se hotarau impotriva adevarului advent, doreau sa inabuse orice propovaduire a subiectului. Cei care primisera aceasta doctrina au fost astfel asezati intr-o pozitie de mare incercare si confuzie. Ei isi iubeau bisericile lor si nu voiau de fel sa se desparta de ele; dar, pentru ca erau ridiculizati si oprimati si li se interzicea privilegiul de a vorbi despre speranta lor 53:9 sau despre participarea la adunari unde se predica despre venirea Domnului, pana la urma ei s-au ridicat si au scuturat jugul care li se impusese. 53:10 Adventistii, vazand ca bisericile au respins marturia Cuvantului lui Dumnezeu, nu le-au mai putut privi ca fiind biserica lui Hristos, "stalpul si temelia adevarului"; iar cand a inceput sa fie proclamata solia "A cazut Babilonul" ei s-au simtit indreptatiti sa se desparta de legaturile lor de mai inainte. 53:11 De la respingerea primei solii ingeresti, in biserici a avut loc o trista schimbare. Cand adevarul este dispretuit, ratacirea este in schimb primita si apreciata. Dragostea pentru Dumnezeu si credinta in Cuvantul Lui s-au racit. Bisericile au intristat Duhul Domnului si, in mare masura, acesta S-a retras. 53:12 Timpul de zabovire 53:13 Cand anul 1843 s-a scurs in intregime, fara sa aiba loc venirea Domnului Isus, cei care Il asteptasera cu credinta au fost lasati in nesiguranta si confuzie pentru o vreme. Fara sa tina seama de dezamagirea lor, multi au continuat sa cerceteze Scripturile, examinand din nou dovezile pentru credinta lor si studiind cu atentie profetiile, pentru mai multa lumina. Marturia Bibliei in sprijinul pozitiei lor li s-a parut clara si convingatoare. Semnele ce nu puteau fi intelese gresit aratau ca venirea Domnului Hristos era aproape. Credinciosii nu-si puteau explica dezamagirea; totusi se simteau siguri ca Dumnezeu ii condusese in experientele lor trecute. 53:14 Credinta le-a fost foarte mult intarita prin aplicarea directa si convingatoare a acelor versete care vorbeau despre un timp de intarziere. Inca din anul 1842, Duhul lui Dumnezeu l-a inspirat pe Charles Fitch sa faca o harta profetica. Acest lucru era privit in general de adventisti ca implinirea poruncii date de 53:15 profetul Habacuc: "Scrie prorocia si sap-o pe table." Totusi, nimeni n-a vazut atunci timpul de intarziere prezentat in aceeasi profetie. Dupa dezamagire, intelesul deplin a acestui verset a devenit clar. Astfel vorbeste profetul: "Scrie prorocia si sap-o pe table, ca sa se poata citi usor! Caci este o prorocie a carei vreme este hotarata, se apropie de implinire si nu va minti; daca zaboveste, asteapt-o, caci va veni si se va implini negresit." Habacuc 2,2.3. 53:16 Asteptatorii se bucurau ca Acela care cunoaste sfarsitul de la inceput privise prin veacuri si, prevazand dezamagirea lor, le-a dat cuvinte de incurajare si de speranta. Daca n-ar fi existat astfel de pasaje in Scripturi, aratandu-le ca erau pe drumul cel bun, credinta lor ar fi esuat in ceasul acela de incercare. 53:17 In parabola celor zece fecioare din Matei 25, experienta adventistilor este ilustrata prin evenimentele unei nunti orientale. "Atunci imparatia cerurilor se va asemana cu zece fecioare, care si-au luat candelele si au iesit in intampinarea mirelui." "Fiindca mirele zabovea, au atipit toate si au adormit." 53:18 Miscarea larg raspandita sub proclamarea primei solii ingeresti corespundea iesirii fecioarelor in intampinarea mirelui, iar timpul de asteptare, dezamagire si intarziere era reprezentat de zabovirea mirelui. Dupa ce a trecut timpul exact, adevaratii credinciosi au ramas totusi uniti in credinta ca sfarsitul tuturor lucrurilor era aproape; dar curand a devenit evident ca isi pierdeau, intr-o oarecare masura, zelul si consacrarea si cadeau intr-o stare indicata in parabola prin adormirea fecioarelor in timpul de zabovire a mirelui. 53:19 Cam in acel timp a inceput sa apara fanatismul. Unii dintre cei care se pretindeau credinciosi zelosi ai soliei au respins Cuvantul lui Dumnezeu ca singurul ghid infailibil si, sustinand ca sunt condusi de Duhul, s-au lasat in stapanirea propriilor sentimente, impresii si imaginatii. Erau unii care manifestau un zel orb si fanatic, acuzandu-i pe toti care nu le aprobau calea. Ideile si manifestarile lor fanatice nu au gasit nici o simpatie din partea corpului majoritar al adventistilor; in schimb au adus asupra cauzei adevarului reprosul. 53:20 Predicarea primei solii ingeresti in anul 1843 si a strigatului de la miezul noptii in anul 1844 au avut tendinta de a reprima fanatismul si disensiunea. Cei care participasera la aceste miscari solemne erau in armonie; inimile le erau pline de dragoste unul pentru altul si pentru Domnul Isus, pe care asteptau sa-L vada curand. Credinta si fericita nadejde pe care le impartaseau cu totii, singurele adevarate, i-au inaltat deasupra controlului oricarei influente omenesti si s-au dovedit un scut impotriva atacurilor lui Satana. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
