83:1 Cap. 81 - Valoarea studiului biblic 83:2 Studiul Bibliei este superior oricarui alt studiu pentru intarirea intelectului. Cate directii de gandire pot gasi tinerii in Cuvantul lui Dumnezeu pentru a fi explorate! Mintea poate merge adanc si tot mai adanc in cercetarea sa, adunand putere cu fiecare efort de a intelege adevarul; si dincolo de ceea ce a fost deja inteles, ramane inca o infinitate de explorat. 83:3 Cei care marturisesc ca Il iubesc pe Dumnezeu si respecta lucrurile sfinte si totusi permit mintii sa se opreasca asupra lucrurilor superficiale si fanteziste se plaseaza pe terenul lui Satana si fac lucrarea lui. Daca ar studia lucrarile minunate ale lui Dumnezeu in natura si maiestatea si puterea Sa, asa cum sunt revelate in Cuvantul Sau, tinerii ar capata, in urma fiecarui astfel de exercitiu, o agerime si o elevare a facultatilor mintii lor. Ar primi vigoare, care nu va semana deloc cu aroganta. Prin contemplarea minunilor puterii divine, mintea va invata cea mai grea, dar si cea mai folositoare dintre lectii, si anume ca intelepciunea omeneasca, daca nu e unita cu Infinitul si sfintita prin Hristos, este nebunie. 83:4 Lucrarea de mijlocire a lui Hristos 83:5 Lucrarea scumpului Fiu al lui Dumnezeu de a uni cele create cu Cel vesnic, finitul cu Infinitul, pin propria Sa persoana divina, este un subiect care ar putea sa ne ocupe gandurile pentru o viata intreaga. Aceasta lucrare a lui Hristos trebuia sa intareasca statornicia si loialitatea fiintelor din lumile necazute in pacat si 83:6 sa salveze ce era pierdut in aceasta lume. El a deschis o cale pentru cei razvratiti sa se intoarca la supunerea fata de Dumnezeu, in timp ce prin acelasi act a instaurat o protectie pentru cei ce erau deja curati, astfel ca sa nu ajunga atinsi de pacat. 83:7 In timp ce noi ne bucuram ca exista lumi care n-au cazut niciodata in pacat, acestea dau lauda, onoare si glorie lui Isus Hristos pentru planul mantuirii prin care fiii cazuti ai lui Adam, precum si pentru ca le-au fost intarite pozitia si caracterul lor curat. Bratul care a ridicat familia umana din ruina pe care Satana a adus-o peste ea, prin ispitele sale, este bratul care i-a aparat pe locuitorii celorlalte lumi de pacat. Fiecare lume solicita grija si sustinerea Tatalui si Fiului; si aceasta grija este continuu exercitata pentru omenirea cazuta. Hristos mijloceste in favoarea omului si pastreaza, de asemenea, ordinea in lumile nevazute, prin lucrarea Sa de mijlocire. Nu sunt aceste teme de o suficienta maretie si importanta pentru a ne acapara gandurile si pentru a reclama in continuare recunostinta si adorarea noastra fata de Dumnezeu? 83:8 Dezvoltarea intelectuala 83:9 Deschideti Biblia pentru tinerii nostri, indreptati-le atentia spre comorile ei ascunse, invatati-i sa caute bijuteriile adevarului si vor castiga o putere a mintii pe care n-o poate da studiul nici unei filosofii pe care ar adopta-o. Marile teme pe care le trateaza Biblia, simplitatea demna a exprimarii sale inspirate, temele elevate ce sunt prezentate mintii, lumina directa si clara de la tronul lui Dumnezeu, stralucind asupra 83:10 intelegerii, vor dezvolta puterile mintii la un nivel de intelegere care cu greu poate fi inteles si niciodata pe deplin explicat. 83:11 Biblia prezinta un camp nemarginit pentru imaginatie, inaltand si innobiland mult mai mult caracterul decat creatiile superficiale ale unei minti nesfintite, la fel cum este cerul fata de pamant. Istoria inspirata a umanitatii este pusa in mainile fiecaruia dintre noi! Toti pot incepe acum propria cercetare. Pot face cunostinta cu primii nostri parinti, asa cum erau ei in Eden, intr-o inocenta sfanta, bucurandu-se de comuniunea cu Dumnezeu si cu ingerii necazuti in pacat. Ei pot depista modul intrarii pacatului in lume si rezultatele acestui fapt asupra rasei umane si sa urmeze pas cu pas pe urmele istoriei sfinte, asa cum inregistreaza ea neascultarea si nepocainta omului, precum si rasplata dreapta pentru pacat. 83:12 Cea mai inalta cultura 83:13 Cititorul poate sa converseze cu patriarhii si profetii; poate sa se plimbe prin cele mai inspiratoare scene; Il poate vedea pe Hristos, care este Imparat in ceruri, egal cu Dumnezeu, coborand in mijlocul oamenilor si aducand la indeplinire planul de mantuire, rupand lanturile cu care Satana il legase pe om de el si dandu-i posibilitatea omului sa se asemene din nou cu Dumnezeu. Faptul ca Hristos a luat asupra Lui umanitatea si a mentinut acest statut timp de 30 de ani, facand apoi din sufletul Sau o jertfa pentru pacat, pentru ca omul sa nu fie lasat sa piara, este un subiect pentru cele mai profunde ganduri si pentru cel mai concentrat studiu... 83:14 Lasati mintea sa prinda uimitoarele adevaruri ale 83:15 revelatiei si sa nu fie niciodata tentata sa-si indrepte atentia asupra unor teme frivole, usoare; sa intoarca spatele cu dezgust literaturii de duzina si distractiilor desarte care ii demoralizeaza pe tinerii din zilele noastre. Cei care au realizat o legatura cu poetii si filozofii Bibliei si ale caror suflete au fost miscate de faptele glorioase ale eroilor credintei se vor intoarce de pe campiile bogate ale gandirii mult mai curati la inima si mult mai elevati si mai deschisi la minte decat daca ar fi fost ocupati cu studiul celor mai renumiti autori ai lumii sau contempland si slavind ispravile vitejesti ale Faraonilor, Irozilor si Cezarilor acestei lumi. 83:16 Puterile tinerilor sunt in mare parte amortite, pentru ca ei nu fac din teama de Dumnezeu inceputul intelepciunii. Domnul i-a dat lui Daniel cunostinta si intelepciune, pentru ca el nu a putut fi influentat de nici o putere care ar fi intrat in contradictie cu principiile sale religioase. Motivul pentru care avem atat de putini oameni cu judecata, fermi si de valoare reala este ca ei se gandesc sa gaseasca maretia in timp ce se despart de cer. 83:17 Fiii oamenilor nu se tem de Dumnezeu si nici nu-L iubesc si onoreaza. Religia nu este traita asa cum ar trebui. Domnul nu poate face decat putin pentru om, pentru ca el este atat de usor de flatat, fiind gata atat de repede sa-si atribuie meritele. Dumnezeu ar fi vrut sa ne dezvoltam capacitatile si sa ne folosim de orice privilegiu pentru a dezvalui, cultiva si intari intelegerea noastra. Omul a fost creat pentru un nivel de viata mai inalt si mai nobil decat cel pe care il adopta el. Timpul existentei noastre muritoare este pregatitor pentru viata ce se masoara cu viata lui Dumnezeu. 83:18 Biblia, cel mai mare invatator 83:19 Ce varietate de subiecte sunt prezentate in Sfintele Scripturi, pentru ca mintea sa mediteze asupra lor! Unde pot fi gasite teme mai inalte pentru contemplatie? Unde, in alta parte, sunt teme atat de interesante? In ce sens sunt toate cercetarile stiintei umane comparabile in maretie si mister cu stiinta Bibliei? Unde este ceva care va scoate la iveala taria mintii in cele mai profunde si mai staruitoare ganduri? 83:20 Daca o vom lasa sa ne vorbeasca, Biblia ne va invata ceea ce nimic altceva nu ne va putea invata! Dar vai! meditam asupra a orice altceva, mai putin asupra Cuvantului lui Dumnezeu. Literatura fara valoare, istorii imaginare sunt devorate cu lacomie, in timp ce Biblia, cu toate comorile adevarului sfant, sta neglijata pe mesele noastre. Cuvantul sfant, daca ar fi facut regula vietii, ar inalta, eleva si sfinti. El este vocea lui Dumnezeu catre oameni. Ii vom da ascultare? 83:21 "Descoperirea cuvintelor Tale da lumina, da pricepere celor fara rautate." Ingerii stau alaturi de cercetatorul Scripturilor, pentru a deschide si a lumina mintea. Porunca lui Hristos vine astazi la noi cu o forta egala cu cea care se adresa primilor ucenici, acum 1800 de ani: "Cercetati Scripturile, pentru ca socotiti ca in ele aveti viata vesnica, dar tocmai ele marturisesc despre Mine". - RH, 11 ianuarie 1881 |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
