19:1 Cap. 17 - Predand lectii pentru a fi utili 19:2 Viata nu este data pentru a o trai in lenevie si placeri egoiste. Fiecaruia dintre cei care isi vor dezvolta capacitatile date de Dumnezeu, ii stau inainte mari posibilitati. Din acest motiv, instruirea tineretului este o chestiune de maxima importanta. Fiecare copil nascut in camin este un credit sacru. Dumnezeu le spune parintilor: "Luati acest copil si cresteti-l pentru Mine, pentru a putea fi o onoare la adresa Numelui Meu si un canal prin care binecuvantarile Mele sa se reverse asupra lumii". Pentru a-l face pe copil potrivit pentru o astfel de viata, se cere ceva mai mult decat o educatie partiala, unilaterala, care ii va dezvolta intelectul, in paguba capacitatilor fizice. Dezvoltarea necesita toate facultatile - ale mintii si ale trupului - si asta este lucrarea pe care parintii, ajutati de educator, trebuie sa o faca pentru copiii si tinerii aflati in grija lor. 19:3 Primele lectii sunt de mare importanta. Se obisnuieste trimiterea copiilor de foarte mici la scoala, cerandu-li-se sa invete din carti lucruri care le forteaza mintea si, adeseori, sa invete muzica. In multe cazuri, parintii au posibilitati limitate si este nevoie de un efort financiar caruia foarte greu ii fac fata, dar ei considera ca trebuie facut totul pentru a asigura aceasta linie artificiala de educatie. Nu este intelept. Copilul nu trebuie suprasolicitat in nici o directie si nu trebuie sa invete muzica pana nu este bine dezvoltat din punct de vedere fizic. 19:4 Mama trebuie sa fie profesorul, iar caminul scoala in care orice copil primeste primele lectii. 19:5 Insa aceste lectii trebuie sa includa obiceiuri practice. Mamelor, lasati-va micutii sa se joace in aer liber, lasati-i sa asculte cantecele pasarelelor si sa afle dragostea lui Dumnezeu, exprimata in frumoasele lucrari ale mainilor Lui. Invatati-i lectiile simple din cartea naturii si din lucrurile din jurul lor. Apoi, pe masura ce mintea lor se dezvolta, pot fi adaugate si imprimate solid lectii din carti. Dar invatati-i, de asemenea, inca din cei mai timpurii ani, sa fie folositori. Invatati-i sa fie constienti ca, in calitate de membri ai gospodariei, ei trebuie sa-si faca, fara nici o pretentie, partea in ceea ce priveste treburile casei si sa vada un exercitiu sanatos in indeplinirea acestora. 19:6 Este foarte important pentru parinti sa gaseasca sarcini utile pentru copiii lor, implicand responsabilitati potrivite puterii si varstei. Copiilor trebuie sa li se dea ceva de facut, care nu doar sa le asigure o ocupatie, ci sa-i si intereseze. Mainile si mintile lor active trebuie puse la treaba din cei mai timpurii ani. Daca parintii neglijeaza sa canalizeze energiile copiilor pe fagase utile, le fac un mare rau, deoarece Satana este gata sa le gaseasca el ceva de facut. 19:7 Cooperarea parinte - educator 19:8 Cand copilul este destul de mare pentru a fi trimis la scoala, profesorul trebuie sa conlucreze cu parintii si pregatirea practica trebuie sa continue ca o parte a studiilor scolare. Sunt multi care se opun acestui gen de lucru manual in scoli. Ei considera ca solicitarile practice - de pilda, invatarea unei meserii - sunt umilitoare, dar au o idee gresita despre adevarata demnitate. 19:9 Exemplul lui Hristos 19:10 In viata Sa pe pamant, Hristos a fost un exemplu pentru intreaga familie omeneasca, fiind ascultator si de folos in camin. El a invatat meseria de tamplar si a lucrat cu mainile Lui in micul atelier din Nazaret. Biblia spune despre El: "Iar Pruncul crestea si Se intarea; era plin de intelepciune si harul lui Dumnezeu era peste El." (Luca 2,40). Lucrand in copilarie si-n tinerete, mintea si trupul Lui se dezvoltau. El nu-Si folosea puterile fizice fara chibzuinta, ci astfel incat sa si le mentina in forma si sa poata face cea mai buna lucrare in orice privinta. 19:11 In copii si-n tineri trebuie trezita ambitia de a actiona in directia realizarii a ceva benefic lor si util celorlalti. Exercitiul care dezvolta mintea si caracterul, care obisnuieste mainile sa fie folositoare, care-l invata pe tanar sa-si faca partea in rezolvarea sarcinilor caminului, este acela care asigura putere fizica si care stimuleaza orice facultate. De asemenea, exista o rasplata pentru harnicie, pentru cultivarea obiceiului de a trai pentru a face bine. 19:12 Copiii celor care sunt mai bogati nu trebuie lipsiti de marea binecuvantare de a avea ceva de facut, ceva ce le sporeste vigoarea mintii si a muschilor. Munca nu este un blestem, ci o binecuvantare. Dumnezeu a dat lui Adam si Evei, necazuti in pacat, o frumoasa gradina de ingrijit. Era o lucrare placuta si, daca prima pereche de oameni n-ar fi calcat porunca lui Dumnezeu, nici o lucrare altfel decat placuta n-ar fi existat in lumea noastra Cei bogati nu trebuie lipsiti de privilegiul si binecuvantarea 19:13 unui loc printre lucratorii lumii. Ei trebuie sa inteleaga ca sunt raspunzatori de felul cum folosesc ceea ce le-a fost incredintat, ca energia, timpul, si banii lor trebuie folositi in mod intelept, nu in scopuri egoiste... 19:14 Aprobarea lui Dumnezeu este impartasita cu dragoste pentru copiii care isi asuma bucuros partea in indatoririle gospodariei, impartasindu-se din sarcinile tatalui si ale mamei. Ei vor fi rasplatiti cu sanatate fizica si pace a mintii si se vor bucura de placerea de a vedea cum parintii participa si ei la distractiile lor, prelungindu-si astfel viata. Copiii care sunt obisnuiti cu indatoriri practice vor iesi din camin ca niste membri utili ai societatii, cu o educatie mult superioara celei obisnuite printr-o inchidere de timpuriu in sala de clasa, cand nici mintea si nici trupul nu sunt suficient de tari pentru a suporta asa ceva. 19:15 Acasa si la scoala, prin sfat si exemplu, copiii trebuie invatati sa fie corecti, neegoisti, harnici. Ei nu trebuie lasati sa-si petreaca timpul in trandavie, mainile lor nu trebuie sa ramana inactive. Parintii si educatorii trebuie sa conlucreze pentru indeplinirea acestui obiectiv - dezvoltarea tuturor capacitatilor si formarea unui caracter bun. Cand parintii isi vor da seama de raspunderile lor, educatorii vor avea de facut mult mai putin. 19:16 Cerul este interesat in aceasta lucrare pentru tineri. Parintii si educatorii care, printr-o instruire inteleapta, si intr-o maniera calma si decisa isi obisnuiesc copii sa se gandeasca si sa se ingrijeasca de altii, ii vor ajuta sa-si biruie egoismul si le vor inchide usa in fata multor 19:17 ispite. Ingerii lui Dumnezeu vor coopera cu acesti instructori credinciosi. Ei nu sunt mandatati sa faca aceasta lucrare singuri, in schimb, vor da putere si eficienta celor care, in temere de Dumnezeu, cauta sa-si educe copiii pentru a fi utili in viata. 19:18 Scolile noastre sunt mijlocul special prin care Domnul ii califica pe copii si pe tineri pentru lucrare misionara. Parintii trebuie sa-si inteleaga responsabilitatea si sa-si ajute copiii sa puna pret pe marile privilegii si binecuvantari pe care Dumnezeu le ofera prin aceste institutii. 19:19 Dar educatia lor in camin trebuie sa tina pasul cu educatia in aspectele misionare. In copilarie si in adolescenta, invatatura practica si cea teoretica trebuie sa fie impletite. Copiii trebuie invatati sa li se arate cum sa-i ajute pe tata si pe mama in micile treburi pe care sunt si ei in stare sa le faca. Mintea lor trebuie invatata sa gandeasca si sa retina ceea ce au de facut. Familiarizati cu obiceiuri practice in camin, ei sunt invatati sa faca lucrari adecvate varstei lor. 19:20 Daca sunt bine educati acasa, copiii nu vor fi gasiti pe strada, pentru a primi acea educatie, la intamplare, pe care o primesc atatia. Parintii care-si iubesc in mod raspunzator copiii nu-i vor lasa sa creasca cu obiceiuri de lenevie si ignoranta fata de treburile casei. Ignoranta nu este admisibila la Dumnezeu si nici favorabila lucrarii Sale. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
