21:1 Cap. 19 - Unde sa fie asezata noua locuinta? 21:2 Principii calauzitoare in alegerea asezarii. In alegerea asezarii locuintei, Dumnezeu doreste ca noi sa avem in vedere, inainte de toate, influentele morale si religioase, care vor fi in jurul nostru si al familiei noastre. 1 21:3 Vom alege societatea si locul care sunt cele mai favorabile inaintarii noastre spirituale, cautand sa ne folosim de tot ce se poate din raza noastra de actiune; fiindca Satana ne va pune in fata tot felul de obstacole pentru a face cat mai dificil progresul pe calea catre ceruri. S-ar putea sa locuim in locuri care vor constitui o incercare pentru noi, multi neavand posibilitatea de a sta in locul pe care l-ar dori; insa noi nu trebuie sa ne expunem in mod voit acelor influente care sunt nefavorabile formarii caracterului crestin. Cand vine vremea sa ne ocupam de acest lucru, trebuie sa fim de doua ori atenti, precauti si sa ne rugam pentru ca, prin harul lui Dumnezeu, sa putem ramane neafectati de un mediu stricacios. 2 21:4 Evanghelia ne invata sa apreciem lucrurile la adevarata lor valoare si sa acordam cea mai mare atentie lucrurilor care au cea mai mare valoare - lucrurile care vor dura. Aceasta lectie trebuie avuta in vedere de cei care au raspunderea de a alege asezarea casei lor. Nu ar trebui sa-si permita sa se abata de la acest tel inalt... 21:5 Cand se cauta un loc pentru asezarea casei, fie ca acest scop sa calauzeasca alegerea. Nu va lasati stapaniti de dorinta dupa bogatii, de moda sau de obiceiurile din societate. Aveti in vedere ceea ce tinde cel mai mult spre simplitate, curatie, sanatate si este de adevarata valoare... 21:6 In loc de a locui intr-un loc unde poate fi vazuta doar lucrarea omului, unde ceea ce se vede si se aude ispiteste la rau, unde agitatia si larma aduc oboseala si framantare, duceti-va acolo unde puteti privi 21:7 lucrarile lui Dumnezeu. Gasiti-va odihna spiritului in frumusetea, linistea si pacea naturii. Lasati ochii sa poata poposi asupra campurilor verzi, a crangurilor si a dealurilor. Priviti cerul albastru, neinnegurat de praful si fumul oraselor si respirati aerul inviorator al cerului. 3 21:8 Primul camin - un model. Caminul primilor nostri parinti avea sa fie un model pentru alte camine, pe masura ce copiii lor aveau sa ocupe pamantul. Caminul acela, infrumusetat de mana lui Dumnezeu Insusi, nu a fost un palat somptuos. Oamenii, in mandria lor, isi gasesc placerea in edificii marete si costisitoare si aduc slava lucrarilor mainilor lor; insa Dumnezeu l-a asezat pe Adam intr-o gradina. Aceasta a fost locuinta lui. Cerul albastru era domul; pamantul cu florile lui delicate si covorul de un verde viu, era pardoseala; iar ramurile verzi ale arborilor maiestuosi erau baldachinul. Peretii erau impodobiti cu cele mai marete ornamente - lucrarea mainilor marelui Artist Maestru. Din locul in care a fost asezata sfanta pereche, invatam o lectie pentru toate timpurile - ca fericirea adevarata nu se gaseste in ingaduirea mandriei si luxului, ci in comuniunea cu Dumnezeu, prin lucrurile create de El. Daca oamenii ar acorda mai putina atentie celor artificiale si ar cultiva mai multa simplitate, s-ar apropia cu mult de scopul intentionat de Dumnezeu, prin crearea lor. Mandria si ambitia nu sunt niciodata satisfacute, insa aceia care sunt cu adevarat intelepti vor gasi adevarata placere, care este inaltatoare, in sursele de bucurie pe care Dumnezeu le-a asezat la indemana tuturor. 4 21:9 Locuinta de pe pamant pe care a ales-o Dumnezeu pentru Fiul Sau. Domnul Isus a venit pe acest pamant pentru a aduce la indeplinire cea mai mare lucrare, care a fost indeplinita vreodata intre oameni. El a venit ca ambasadorul lui Dumnezeu pentru a ne arata cum sa traim cel mai bine. Ce conditii a ales Tatal cel nemarginit 21:10 pentru Fiul Sau? O casa singuratica pe unul din dealurile Galileii; o gospodarie intretinuta prin munca cinstita, demna; o viata plina de simplitate; lupta zilnica cu greutatile; sacrificiul de sine, chibzuiala si lucrul facut cu bucurie; ora de studiu alaturi de mama sa, avand deschise sulurile Scripturii; linistea zorilor sau a amurgului din vaile inverzite, lucrarile sfinte din natura; studiul creatiunii si al providentei si comuniunea sufleteasca cu Dumnezeu - acestea au fost conditiile si ocaziile pe care le-a avut Domnul Isus in prima parte a vietii Sale. 5 21:11 Casele de la tara in Tara Fagaduita. In Tara Fagaduita, disciplina inceputa in pustie a fost continuata in conditii favorabile pentru formarea de obiceiuri corespunzatoare. Oamenii nu erau ingramaditi in orase, ci fiecare familie avea pamantul sau, asigurand tuturor binecuvantarile aducatoare de sanatate ale unei vieti naturale, nepervertite. 6 21:12 Efectul mediului inconjurator asupra caracterului lui Ioan. Ioan Botezatorul, inainte mergatorul lui Hristos, a fost educat in primii ani de catre parintii sai. Cea mai mare parte a vietii sale a petrecut-o in pustiu... Ioan a preferat sa aleaga, in locul distractiilor si luxului vietii de oras, disciplina aspra a pustiei. Imprejurarile erau favorabile formarii unor obiceiuri ce aveau in vedere simplitatea si tagaduirea de sine. Neintrerupt de larma lumii, el a putut studia aici lectiile din natura, ale revelatiei si providentei... Inca din copilarie, a retinut care este misiunea sa si a acceptat sfanta sarcina incredintata. Pentru el, linistea desertului era o scapare binevenita din societatea in care banuiala, necredinta si necuratia ajunsesera prezente aproape pretutindeni. El nu s-a increzut in propria-i putere pentru a se impotrivi ispitei si s-a ferit sa fie mereu in 21:13 contact cu pacatul, ca sa nu piarda simtul grozavei sale pacatosenii. 7 21:14 Alti oameni de valoare, proveniti din camine situate la tara. Asa stau lucrurile cu marea majoritate a celor mai buni si nobili oameni din toate veacurile. Cititi istoria lui Avraam, Iacov si Iosif; a lui Moise, David si Elisei. Studiati vietile barbatilor de mai tarziu, care au ocupat cu demnitate pozitii de incredere si raspundere. 21:15 Multi dintre acestia au crescut la tara. Ei nu au stiut ce este luxul. Nu si-au petrecut tineretea in distractii. Multi au fost nevoiti sa lupte cu saracia si greutatile. Ei au invatat de timpuriu sa munceasca, iar viata lor activa in aer liber a conferit vigoare si elasticitate tuturor capacitatilor lor. Obligati sa depinda de propriile lor resurse, ei au invatat sa lupte cu greutatile si sa invinga obstacolele, dobandind astfel curaj si perseverenta. Ei au invatat lectia increderii in propriile mijloace si a stapanirii de sine. Fiind la adapost in mare masura de asocierile rele, ei erau multumiti cu placerile naturale si prieteniile sanatoase. Gusturile lor erau simple, iar obiceiurile lor temperate. Erau calauziti de principii si au crescut in curatie, puternici si demni. Cand a sosit momentul inceperii activitatii ce urma sa dureze toata viata, ei aveau putere fizica si mintala, buna dispozitie a spiritului, capacitatea de a planui si executa si taria de a rezista in fata relelor, lucru care i-a facut sa fie o putere pozitiva, spre bine, in lume. 8 21:16 1. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
