10:1 Cereti de la Domnul ploaie, ploaie de primavara! Domnul scoate fulgerele, si va trimite o ploaie imbelsugata, pentru toata verdeata de pe camp. De la Domnul. Zaharia arata ca daca poporul lui Dumnezeu vrea sa primeasca binecuvantarile promise, el trebuie sa le caute la Domnul, nu la idoli (v. 2). Fagaduinta belsugului (cap. 9,17) il indeamna pe profet sa apeleze la poporul sau sa se increada doar in Dumnezeu pentru beneficii materiale si spirituale. Ploaie de primavara. Sau ,,Ploaie tarzie”. Ploaia aceasta venea primavara, la sfarsitul sezonului ploios, si era necesara pentru a duce recolta la maturitate inainte de seceris (vezi Deuteronom 11,14). Ploaia timpurie inaugura sezonul ploios, toamna, pentru a ajuta la cresterea semintelor de curand semanate (vezi Vol. II, p. 108). Daca ploile timpurii si tarzii imbelsugate, aceasta era un semn al grijii si harului lui Dumnezeu, al binecuvantarilor Sale temporale si spirituale (vezi Isaia 30,2; Ieremia 5,24; Ioel 2,23). Scoate fulgerele. Sau ,,Face nori stralucitori” Ebr. chazizim, ,,nori furtunosi”. Imaginea cu ploaia tarzie este folosita pentru a descrie revarsarea speciala a Duhului Sfant in zilele din urma (vezi comentariul la Ioel 2,23). Acum este ,,timpul ploii tarzii”, cand oamenii ar trebui sa inalte cereri calduroase ca favoarea spirituala care pregateste biserica pentru venirea Fiului omului sa poata fi grabnic obtinuta (vezi AA 55; TM 506). 10:2 Caci terafimii vorbesc nimicuri, ghicitorii prorocesc minciuni, visurile mint si mangaie cu desertaciuni. De aceea, ei ratacesc ca o turma, sunt nenorociti, pentru ca n-au pastor. Terafimii. Ebr. teraphim, zei casnici avand de obicei forma unor mici figurine omenesti (vezi comentariul la Geneza 31,19). Nimicuri. Raspunsuri inutile, cu totul lipsite de valoare. Ghicitorii. Aceia care pretindeau ca descopera vointa zeilor (vezi Ieremia 29,8). Ratacesc. Increderea in acesti inselatori a facut ca israelitii sa fie dusi in captivitate. N-au pastor. Probabil o referire la faptul ca ei nu aveau rege care sa-i conduca si sa-i ocroteasca (vezi Osea 3,4). 10:3 Mania Mea s-a aprins impotriva pastorilor, si voi pedepsi pe tapi. Caci Domnul ostirilor Isi cerceteaza turma, casa lui Iuda, si o va face ca pe calul Sau de slava in lupta. Pastorilor. Contextul pare sa lase sa se inteleaga ca acesti pastori mincinosi erau conducatorii apostati ai lui Israel, capeteniile, preotii si profetii pe care Dumnezeu ii considera principalii responsabili pentru toata nenorocirea care venise peste Israel prin captivitate (Isaia 3,12; 9,16; comp. Ieremia 2,8.26.27; 8,1.2; 10,21; 32,32; Ezechiel 22,23-31; 34,2-10; etc.). In Zaharia 11,15.17 se sugereaza ca acesti pastori mincinosi isi parasisera turma, iar in cap. 10,2 poporul lui Israel este infatisat ca niste oi ratacite pentru ca n-au pastor care sa-i conduca pe calea cea dreapta (comp. Ieremia 5,1-5; Ezechiel 34,5; etc.). Altii sugereaza ca ,,pastorii” ii reprezinta pe imparatii pagani care au stapanit peste israeliti in timpul cand ,,n-aveau pastori” proprii (v. 2). Dumnezeu se folosise de acesti ,,pastori” pagani ca instrumente ale Sale pentru a-Si pedepsi poporul (vezi Isaia 10,5.6), insa acestia exercitasera o cruzime necuvenita asupra poporului Sau. Tapi. Ebr. ?attudim, ,,tapi” (Geneza 31,10.12; Deuteronom 32,14), folosit simbolic si pentru conducatori, de exemplu aici si in Isaia 14,9. Turma. Dumnezeu Isi va cerceta turma cu binecuvantari si va da puteri poporului Sau pentru a-si birui dusmanii (vezi cap. 9,13). 10:4 Din el va iesi Piatra din capul unghiului, din el va iesi tarusul, din el va iesi arcul de razboi; din el vor iesi toate capeteniile laolalta. Piatra din capul unghiului. Sau ,,Piatra unghiulara”, sau poate ,,turnul din colt”. Diferitele imagini subliniaza statornicia si siguranta lui Iuda. Iudeii priveau acest verset ca o prezicere mesianica. Tarusul. Compara Isaia 22,23. 10:5 Ei vor fi ca niste viteji care calca in picioare noroiul de pe ulite; in lupta, se vor lupta, pentru ca Domnul va fi cu ei; iar calaretii vor fi acoperiti de rusine. Viteji. Prezenta lui Dumnezeu ii va asigura poporului ales o biruinta deplina asupra dusmanilor sai. Aceste fagaduinte de biruinta erau ,,conditionate de ascultare” (PK 704) si nu s-au implinit niciodata fata de Israel din pricina refuzului lor persistent de a implini planul divin. 10:6 Voi intari casa lui Iuda, si voi izbavi casa lui Iosif; ii voi aduce inapoi, caci Mi-este mila de ei, si vor fi ca si cand niciodata nu i-as fi lepadat; caci Eu sunt Domnul, Dumnezeul lor, si-i voi asculta. Casa lui Iuda. Regatul de sud (vezi 1Regi 11,31.32). Casa lui Iosif. Cele zece semintii pe care le cuprindea regatul de nord al lui Israel sunt numite astfel deoarece semintia cea mai numeroasa si mai de vaza dintre cele de miazanoapte era aceea a lui Efraim, un fiu al lui Iosif (Geneza 41,50-52). Ca si cand. Exilatilor repatriati Dumnezeu le fagaduise o restaurare deplina si in libertate. Daca ar fi conlucrat cu planurile Cerului, ei s-ar fi bucurat imediat de o prosperitate la fel ca aceea pe care anterior avusesera privilegiul sa o obtina (vezi p. 31, 32). Asa poate fi cu pacatosul. Desi vinovat de abateri grozave, el poate obtine o iertare deplina si libera. Cand, prin credinta primeste neprihanirea lui Hristos, el este acceptat de Dumnezeu ca si cand n-ar fi pacatuit (vezi SC 62). 10:7 Efraim va fi ca un viteaz; inima lor se va bucura ca de vin; fiii lor vor vedea lucrul acesta si se vor inveseli, inima lor se va bucura in Domnul. Efraim. Sau ,,Cei din Efraim”. Adica cei din regatul de nord. Din pricina pacatului lor, celor zece semintii nu le fusese daca ,,nici o fagaduinta de readucere deplina la puterea lor anterioara din Palestina” (PK 298). Totusi, un destin maret ii astepta pe cei din aceste semintii care s-ar fi alipit de Domnul si s-ar fi unit cu ramasita lui Iuda. 10:8 Le voi fluiera si-i voi aduna, caci i-am rascumparat, si se vor inmulti cum se inmulteau odinioara. Le voi fluiera. LXX reda propozitia de inceput astfel: ,,Le voi face un semn.” 10:9 Ii voi risipi printre popoare, si isi vor aduce aminte de Mine in tari departate; vor trai impreuna cu copiii lor, si se vor intoarce. Ii voi risipi. Ebr. zara?, adesea folosit cu sensul de ,,a risipi” si fara indoiala astfel este folosit aici. Prima propozitie poate fi tradusa si ,,desi i-am risipit”. 10:10 Ii voi aduce inapoi din tara Egiptului, si-i voi aduna din Asiria; ii voi aduce in tara Galaadului si in Liban, si nu le va ajunge locul. Egiptului. Vezi Ieremia 43,44 cu privire la iudeii care locuiau in Egipt. Asiria. Aici reprezentand teritoriul asirian acum ocupat de Persia (vezi comentariul la Ezra 6,22). Galaadului si in Liban. Tari aflate la est si la nord de hotarele lui Israel, primele care au fost depopulate (2Regi 15,29; vezi comentariul la 1Cronici 5,26). 10:11 Israel va trece prin stramtorile marii, va lovi valurile marii si toate adancimile raului Nil se vor usca; mandria Asiriei va fi franta, si toiagul de carmuire al Egiptului va pieri. Prin stramtorile marii. Sau ,,Prin mare”. o referire la minunea de la Marea Rosie (Exod 14). Dumnezeu va fi din nou binevoitor sa lucreze in mod minunat spre eliberarea poporului Lui. Adancimile raului Nil. Sau ,,Adancimile raului”. Ebr. ye’or, adesea desemnand Nilul (Exod 1,22; 2,3; etc.; vezi comentariul la Exod 2,10). Totusi, ye’or se poate aplica si la alte cursuri de apa. In Daniel 12,5-7 se refera la Tigru. Unii considera ca aici se refera la Eufrat, pe care exilatii urmau sa-l treaca in drumul lor spre Ierusalim. Altii, considerand ca au de-a face cu un paralelism, cred ca se are in vedere Nilul. Va fi franta. Pedeapsa va veni asupra popoarelor care tinusera in robie pe poporul lui Dumnezeu (vezi Isaia 10,12; 13,1-22; Ezechiel 29-32; etc.). 10:12 Ii voi intari in Domnul, si vor umbla in Numele Lui, zice Domnul! Vor umbla. Aceeasi forma apare si in Geneza 5,22. LXX zice ,,slava”, ceea ce face necesara schimbarea unei litere in ebraica. Compara Mica 4,5. COMENTARIILE LUI ELLEN G. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
