8:29 Caci pe aceia, pe care i-a cunoscut mai dinainte, i-a si hotarat mai dinainte sa fie asemenea chipului Fiului Sau, pentru ca El sa fie cel intai nascut dintre mai multi frati. Caci. Sau ,,deoarece”. Increderea exprimata in vers. 28 e acum justificata si confirmata printr-o explicatie a felului in care este dezvoltat stadiile din procesul mantuirii (vers. 29, 30). In felul acesta, aceia care accepta chemarea lui Dumnezeu si se supun scopului Lui sunt asigurati aici ca El va completa pentru ei fiecare stadiu din planul Lui de a-i mantui. Suferintele nu sunt altceva decat mijloace prin care ei urmeaza sa fie facuti ,,asemenea chipului Fiului Sau”. Intelesul vers. 29 a fost subiectul unei indelungi discutii. Cand minti omenesti marginite incearca sa priveasca in scopurile vesnice ale infinitului Dumnezeu, e bine sa se tina seama de sfatul acesta oferit de un comentator la pasajul acesta: ,,Pe o carare atat de inalta si lunecoasa pentru ratiunea omeneasca siguranta noastra sta in a ne fixa pasii numai acolo unde apostolul inspirat si ia fixat pe ai sai; daca ne aventuram, asa cum multi s-au aventurat, dincolo de limitele urmei sale, sunt prapastii si goluri de toate partile de care cel mai prudent cu greu scapa.” (E. H. Gifford, Epistola Sf. Pavel catre Romani, p. 160). Cunoscut mai dinainte. Gr. proginosko, ,,a cunoaste mai dinainte”. Acest cuvant apare in alta parte in NT in Fapte 26,5; Rom. 11,2; 1 Petru 1,20; 2 Petru 3,17. Dumnezeu cunoaste mai dinainte pentru ca este atotstiutor, adica cunoaste toate lucrurile. Cu privire la El, Scripturile afirma: ,,Totul este gol si descoperit inaintea ochilor Aceluia cu care avem a face” (Evrei 4,13); ,,care din inceput spune sfarsitul” (Is. 46,10); ,,care face aceste lucruri si caruia Ii sunt cunoscute in vesnicie” (Fapte 15,18). Trecutul, prezentul si viitorul Ii sunt la fel de cunoscute. Nimic mai putin decat cunoastere absoluta nu ar satisface conceptia noastra fundamentala despre perfectiunea lui Dumnezeu. Pentru ca cunoaste viitorul nu e luat niciodata prin surprindere. Apostazia lui Satana si caderea omului au fost cunoscute de El mai dinainte si se luasera masuri pentru a face fata crizei (1 Petru 1,2; Apoc. 13,8; DA 22). Profetia predictiva este dovada suprema a precunoasterii Sale. Profetia prezice ceea ce precunoasterea lui Dumnezeu a vazut ca va fi (vezi EGW RH 13 Nov. 1900). Evenimentele prezise nu au loc pentru ca sunt prevazute; ele sunt prezise deoarece vor avea loc. Adevarul acesta a fost afirmat de Milton, care comentand despre caderea lui Satana si a ingerilor lui, lasa ca Dumnezeu sa declare: ,,Prestiinta n-a avut nici o influenta asupra greselii lor, Care s-a dovedit nu mai putin precis neprecunoscuta. Asa ca fara nici cel mai slab impus sau umbra de soarta Sau cumva prin prevederea mea imutabila Ei calca Legea.” (Paradisul Pierdut, cartea III, rand 117 urm.). Hotarat mai dinainte. [,,Predestinat”, KJV]. Gr. proorizo, ,,a selectiona mai dinainte”. Cuvantul e tradus ,,determinat mai dinainte” [hotarare mai dinainte] in Fapte 4,28 si ,,randuit” ca 1 Cor. 2,7. Dumnezeu predestinase pe aceia pe care ii cunoscuse mai dinainte. Pentru a folosi o vorbire omeneasca atunci cand Dumnezeu a vazut mai dinainte si astfel a cunoscut mai dinainte, fiecare generatie de oameni care urma sa apara pe scena actiunii acestei lumi, el a inmanuncheat imediat cu precunoasterea Sa decizia de a predestina pe toti sa fie mantuiti. Dumnezeu niciodata nu a avut alt scop decat mantuirea pentru membrii familiei omenesti. Caci Dumnezeu ,,voieste ca toti oamenii sa fie mantuiti si sa vina la cunostinta adevarului” (1 Tim. 2,4). El ,,doreste ca nici unul sa nu piara, ci toti sa vina la pocainta” (2 Petru 3,9). ,,Pe viata Mea, zice Domnul, Dumnezeu, ca nu doresc moartea pacatosului, ci sa se intoarca de la calea lui si sa traiasca” (Ezechia. 33,11). Hristos Insusi zice: ,,Veniti la Mine toti cei osteniti si impovarati si Eu va voi da odihna” (Mat. 11,28). ,,Cine vrea sa ia apa vietii fara plata” (Apoc. 22,17). ,,Caci atat de mult a iubit Dumnezeu lumea incat a dat pe singurul Lui Fiu pentru oricine crede in El sa nu piara, ci sa aiba viata vesnica” (Ioan 3,16). Mantuirea este oferita fara plata tuturor. Dar nu toti accepta invitatia Evangheliei. ,,Multi sunt chemati dar putini alesi” (Mat. 22,14; cf. cap. 20,16). Mantuirea nu ne este impusa contra vointei noastre. Daca alegem sa ne impotrivim si sa rezistam planului lui Dumnezeu, vom fi pierduti. Precunoasterea divina si predestinatia divina nicidecum nu exclud libertatea omului. Nicaieri nu sugereaza Pavel sau vreun alt scriitor biblic ca Dumnezeu a predestinat pe anumiti oameni sa fie mantuiti si pe anumiti oamenii sa fie pierduti, indiferent de propria lor alegere in aceasta problema. Scopul acestui verset pare sa fie practic. Pavel incearca sa mangaie si sa asigure pe poporul intristat al lui Dumnezeu ca mantuirea lor sta in mainile Lui si ca e in curs de a fi savarsita in acord cu scopul lui vesnic si neschimbator pentru ei. Mantuirea, natural, depinde si de staruinta lor (Evrei 3,14; cf. 1 Cor. 9,27), dar acesta nu este subiectul accentuat acum de Pavel. Sa fie asemenea. Gr. summorphos. Singura alta aparitie a acestui adjectiv grecesc este in Fil. 3,21, unde este tradus ,,il va face asemenea”, si se refera la schimbarea trupurilor noastre care pot sa putrezeasca in asemanarea corpului proslavit al lui Dumnezeu. Verbul pereche (summorphoo) e folosit in Fil. 3,10 in expresia ,,sa ma fac asemenea cu moartea Lui”. Asemanarea noastra urmeaza a fi nu numai o asemanare exterioara si superficiala, ci o asemanare launtrica si esentiala. Chipului Fiului Sau. Hristos este chipul Tatalui, manifestarea vizibila a Dumnezeului nevazut (2 Cor. 4,4; Col. 1,15). E destinul glorios al fiecarui crestin de a fi schimbat dupa schipul lui Hristos, Fiul lui Dumnezeu (1 Cor. 15,49; 2 Cor. 3,18; Col. 3,10). Cum poate avea loc o asa transformare minunata e vestea cea buna a Evangheliei, solia iertarii, renasterii, sfintirii si a proslavirii finale. Schimbarea este efectuata de unirea naturii umane cu cea divina. Asa dupa cum Fiul lui Dumnezeu a luat asupra Sa natura noastra omeneasca, tot asa crestinii pot deveni temple ale Duhului Sfant (1 Cor. 6,19), si Hristos va locui in ei Ioan 14,23). In felul acesta, credinciosul devine partas de natura dumnezeiasca (2 Petru 1,4). Atunci sub influenta Duhului salasluitor (Rom. 8,13.14) si inspirat de exemplul lui Dumnezeu (Ioan 15,12; Fil. 2,5) el e condus la o noua sfintenie a vietii. Prin rabdatoarea suportare a suferintei caracterul sau e facut din ce in ce mai asemenea aceluia al Mantuitorului (Rom. 5,3.4; 1 Petru 2,21-24) pana la ziua proslavirii finale, cand asemanarea va fi facuta deplina (1 Ioan 3,2). Cel dintai nascut. Gr. prototokos, folosit in alta parte cu privire la Hristos in Mat. 1,25; Luca 2,7; Col. 1,15; Evrei 1,6; Apoc. 1,5. Accentul lui Pavel este aici asupra pozitiei lui Hristos ca fratele cel mai mare din familia celor rascumparati. Scopul ultim al planului de mantuire este restatornicirea unitatii in familia imparatiei lui Dumnezeu, asa ca Dumnezeu sa poata fi totul in tot (1 Cor. 15,28). In familia aceasta, Hristos ca fratele cel mai mare a strabatut calea care ne sta inainte si ne-a dat o pilda. Si desi El este desavarsit si divin, nu-I este rusine sa ne numeasca pe noi cei care mergem pe urmele Lui ,,frati” (Evrei 2,11). Vezi Coly V, 917; vezi Ioan 1,14. Multi frati. Hristos face din noi fratii Sai printr-o noua creatiune (vezi 2 Cor. 5,17; Gal. 6,15) si prin aceasta aduce ,,pe multi fii la slava” (Evrei 2,10). Fiind ,,nascuti din apa si din Duh” (Ioan 3,5) am fost adoptati in familia cereasca (Ef. 1,5), inscrisi in ,,biserica celor intai nascuti” (vezi Evrei 12,23) si ,,scrisi” in registrul familiei ,,in cer” (Evrei 12,23) – cartea vietii. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
