9:1 Intelepciunea si-a zidit casa, si-a taiat cei sapte stalpi. Si-a zidit casa. Interpretarile care fac din casa o reprezentarea a intruparii lui Hristos sau a bisericii, trupul simbolic al lui Hristos, sau al scolilor profetilor, in care salasluia intelepciunea, reprezinta deductii alegorice neautorizate. E suficient sa consideram aceasta "casa" o figura de stil poetica, care personifica intelepciunea si o reprezinta ca locuind intr-un loc la ale carei porti asteapta cercetatorul zelos al adevarului (vezi cap. 8,34). Sapte stalpi. Aceasta expresie a fost subiectul multor presupuneri. Sapte de obicei denota perfectiune. In consecinta casa intelepciunii se poate spune ca este deplin si desavarsit cladita si puternic sustinuta, intrucat stalpii sunt din piatra taiata. Dar a gasi o reprezentare a fiecaruia din acesti stalpi inseamna sa debitam simple ipoteze. 9:2 Si-a junghiat vitele, si-a amestecat vinul, si-a pus masa. Masa. Intelepciunea e reprezentata ca si cum ar pregati un mare ospat. In zonele calde animalele trebuiau sa fie taiate chiar inainte de ospat, deoarece carnea se altera repede. 9:3 Si-a trimis slujnicele, si striga, de pe varful inaltimilor cetatii: Slujnicele. O figura de stil poetica, deoarece "intelepciunea" este la feminin, slujitorii ei sunt tot la feminin. 9:4 Cine este prost, sa vina incoace! Celor lipsiti de pricepere le zice: Este prost. [Este simplu, KJV]. Numai aceia care isi recunosc lipsa de intelegere raspund la invitatie. Ceilalti nu raspund din cauza increderii in propria superioritate. 9:5 Veniti de mancati din painea mea, si beti din vinul pe care l-am amestecat! Painea. O usoara schimbare de imagine de la carne si vin (v. 2) la paine si vin, nu necesar o schimbare de reprezentare. 9:6 Lasati prostia, si veti trai, si umblati pe calea priceperii! Lasati prostia. O redare probabil mai corecta este: "Lasati, voi, cei simpli". Dar o astfel de constructie e lipsita de obiect. Unii urmeaza LXX, care reda expresia astfel: "Lasati nebunia". De asemenea in loc de "si traiti", LXX zice: "ca sa puteti domni pururea". Numai cand se despart de caile si de tovarasia celor care ignora apelurile Mantuitorului lor e posibil ca oamenii sa traiasca o viata deplina si multumitoare. Raspunsul la apelul intelepciunii si impartasirea cu painea si vinul ei dau o rasplata bogate atat in viata aceasta cat si in lumea viitoare (vezi Ioan 6,51). 9:7 Cel ce mustra pe un batjocoritor isi trage dispret, si cel ce cauta sa indrepte pe cel rau se alege cu ocara. Ocara. Intelepciunea intrerupe sfatul ei catre cei care isi recunosc nevoia pentru a explica pentru ce se adreseaza doar celor simpli in loc sa-si imprastie margaritarele adevarului inaintea celor impietriti (vezi Matei 7,6). Cand se stie ca un om batjocoreste religie, orice incercare de a-l corecta poate sa fie intampinata de un potop de insulte, incat rezultatul sa fie doar paguba pentru toti cei in cauza. Experienta il umple pe crestin de ocara si il face pe pacatos si mai impietrit ca inainte. Asemenea oameni sunt adesea mai usor de influentat prin apelul indirect al vietii consecvente si umile a unui crestin (vezi Matei 5,16). 9:8 Nu mustra pe cel batjocoritor, ca sa nu te urasca; mustra pe cel intelept, si el te va iubi! Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 9:9 Da inteleptului, si se va face si mai intelept; invata pe cel neprihanit, si va invata si mai mult! Da inteleptului. [Da invatatura inteleptului, KJV]. Ebraica zice doar "da". Totusi contextul arata ca sfatul e de dat celui intelept. LXX zice: "Da un prilej", scotand in evidenta ideea ca inteleptul foloseste orice prilej. Desi exista primejdia ca cel batjocoritor, ca urmare a unei mustrari neintelepte, sa se impietreasca ca sa savarseasca un mai mare pacat, cel intelept realizeaza cat este de important sa stie cum il privesc ceilalti si e bucuros sa primeasca un sfat chiar sub forma unei mustrari (Psalm 141:5). De aceea, un sfat sanatos adresat unui om intelept aduce o indoita rasplata: il ajuta pe primitor si castiga pentru sfatuitor prietenia aceluia pe care l-a mustrat. 9:10 Inceputul intelepciunii este frica de Domnul; si stiinta sfintilor, este priceperea. Sfintilor. Ebr. qedoshim, un plural pe care unii il privesc ca "un plural al maiestatii" si de aceea aplica expresia la Dumnezeu. Paralelismul ebraic sustine o astfel de aplicatie. LXX-a, insa, priveste cuvantul qedoshim ca un substantiv plural obisnuit si reda a doua parte a versetului astfel: "Sfatul sfintilor e intelegere, deoarece a sti legea este [caracterul] gandului lor". Vezi PP 596 pentru o citare a acestui verset unde se scrie cu litera mari "sfinti", si cu litere cursive expresia "stiinta sfintilor", adaugand acest comentariu: "cunoasterea lui Dumnezeu este temelia oricarei adevarate educatii". 9:11 Prin mine ti se vor inmulti zilele, si ti se vor mari anii vietii tale. Ti se vor inmulti zilele. Intelepciunea se reintoarce la motivele pentru care cei simpli ar trebui sa vina la praznicul ei. Viata lunga se ofera ca rasplata pentru intelepciune si temere de Dumnezeu (vezi cap. 3,2.16; 4,10; 10,27). 9:12 Daca esti intelept, pentru tine esti intelept; daca esti batjocoritor, tu singur vei suferi. Pentru tine. Cu toate ca rezultatele cailor nebunesti si ale impotrivirii fata de Dumnezeu sunt partea multor nevinovati care sufera, iar de binecuvantarile unei vieti bune ai parte multi altii, ramane totusi adevarat ca intelepciunea si nebunia afecteaza in primul rand pe acela care le practica. Fericirea si lungimea vietii in lumea aceasta si viata vesnica sau moartea vesnica in veacul ce va sa vina sunt rasplatiri personale, cum e si remuscarea simtita la judecata (Ezechiel 18,4; Matei 12,36). 9:13 Nebunia este o femeie galagioasa, proasta si care nu stie nimic. O femeie galagioasa. [O femeie neinteleapta, KJV]. In contrast cu apelul unei femei bune, care reprezinta intelepciunea, Solomon prezinta apelul galagios, pasionat al nebuniei. Orice om trebuie sa aleaga intre acestea doua. Proasta. [Simpla, KJV]. Cuvantul este folosit aici evident intr-un sens rau ca denotand lipsa de substanta morala (vezi la cap. 8,5). Femeia nu cunoaste nimic din ceea ce ar trebui sa cunoasca. LXX are o varianta diferita: "Unei femeie nebune si indraznete, care nu cunoaste modestia, ajunge sa-i lipseasca bucata de paine". ["Femeia nebuna si fara de omenie, care nu stie de rusine, se va lipsi de paine"]. 9:14 Ea sta totusi la usa casei sale, pe un scaun, pe inaltimile cetatii, Inaltimile. Intelepciunea si-a trimis slujnicele prin cetate si a strigat de pe locurile cele mai inalte (v. 3). Nebunia sta la poarta ei in splendoare si mandrie, peste masura de impodobita, si ii invita pe cei la fel de nebuni ca ea. 9:15 ca sa strige la trecatorii, care merg pe calea cea dreapta: Trecatorii. Literal, "cei care traverseaza cararea". 9:16 Cine este prost, sa vina aici! Iar celui fara minte ii zice: Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 9:17 Apele furate sunt dulci, si painea luata pe ascuns este placuta! Apele furate. Praznicul pe care il ofera nebunia consta doar din ape furate si din paine a secretelor in contrast cu hrana satisfacatoare pregatita de intelepciune (vezi la cap. 5,15). 9:18 El nu stie ca acolo sunt mortii, si ca oaspetii ei sunt in vaile locuintei mortilor. Mortii. Ebr. rephaim. Vezi la Iov 26,5. Spre deosebire de casa bine cladita, intarita cu stalpi de piatra, a intelepciunii, cu lumina si aer din belsug, casa nebuniei este un lacas intunecos, tainic, bantuit de amintirea celor care au murit inselati de ispitele ei. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
