5:1 Acum, strange-ti randurile in cetate, ceata Sionului, caci suntem impresurati! Judecatorul lui Israel este lovit cu nuiaua pe obraz! . Strangeti randurile. Ierusalimul este chemat sa-si mobilizeze ostile avand in vedere primejdia care se apropie. El este numit ,,ceata Sionului” (sau ,,fiica ostilor”), probabil din cauza concentrarii trupelor adunate acolo. LXX reda prima parte a versetului astfel: ,,Acum, fiica lui Efraim va fi deplin imprejmuita”. Pe obraz. Una din cele mai mari insulte (vezi 1Regi 22,24; Iov 16,10; Matei 26,67.68). Profetia este mesianica si prevesteste tratamentul pe care Mesia il va suferi din partea dusmanilor Lui. In ebraica acest verset este atasat capitolului 4. 5:2 Si tu, Betleeme Efrata, macar ca esti prea mic intre cetatile de capetenie ale lui Iuda, totusi din tine Imi va iesi Cel ce va stapani peste Israel, si a carui obarsie se suie pana in vremuri stravechi, pana in zilele vesniciei. . Betleeme. Pentru sens, vezi comentariul la Geneza 35,19. Un orasel aflat cam la 8,5 km. sud de Ierusalim, modernul Beit Lahm. Oraselul mai era numit si Efrata (Geneza 35,19; comp. Rut 4,11) si Betleemul lui Iuda, fara indoiala pentru a-l deosebi de Betleemul lui Zabulon (Iosua 19,15.16). Betleemul a fost locul de nastere al lui David (1Samuel 16,1.4; comp. Luca 2,11). Cetatile de capetenie. Ebr. ’alaphim, care poate sa descrie triburi, clanuri, dintr-un punct de vedere numeric. De aici unele traduceri care spun ,,clanuri”. ,,Mic” poate astfel sa se refere fie la clanul reprezentat de locuitorii din Betleem, fie chiar la orasul insusi, care niciodata nu s-a bucurat de o prea mare importanta. Va iesi. Iudeii au recunoscut aceasta profetie ca mesianica, iar ca raspuns la cererea lui Irod de a i se spune unde avea sa se nasca Mesia, ei au citat pasajul acesta din Mica (Matei 2,3-6; comp. Ioan 7,42). Obarsie. Ebr. masa’oth, pluralul de la masa’ah, de la radacina yasa, ,,a iesi”. Nu este cu totul clar la ce se face referire prin termenul acesta. Intrucat Mesia este infatisat aici ca imparat, unii considera ca este vorba de o referire la un imparat care isi face aparitia in functia imparateasca. Altii vad o referire la diferite aratari ale lui Hristos in Vechiul Testament, ca de pilda lui Avraam (Geneza 18) si Iacov (Geneza 32,24-32). In zilele vesniciei. Mica arata clar preexistenta Unuia care trebuia sa se nasca in Betleem. ,,Obarsia” lui Hristos se intinde in vesnicie in trecut. ,,La inceput era Cuvantul” (vezi comentariul la Ioan 1,1-3). ,,Din zilele vesniciei Domnul Hristos este una cu Tatal” (DA 19; comp. DA 530; Ev. 615). In loc de masa’oth (vezi mai sus la ,,obarsie”), RSV zice ,,originea”. Acesta este unicul loc in versiunea aceasta unde masa’oth, sau forma lui masculina corespunzatoare masa’, este tradus in felul acesta. Daca ,,origine” este interpretat ca si cum ar fi fost un timp cand Hristos nu a existat, atunci aceasta traducere este eronata (vezi Probleme de traducere a Bibliei, p. 188-190). 5:3 De aceea ii va lasa, pana la vremea cand va naste cea care are sa nasca, si ramasita fratilor Sai se va intoarce la copiii lui Israel. . Cea care are sa nasca. Unii comentatori gasesc in versetul acesta o referire la suferintele si necazurile pe care Israel le va indura pana la eliberarea din captivitate. Cu alte cuvinte, ca Dumnezeu ,,ii va lasa” pana atunci. Altii vad o referire la nasterea lui Mesia (vezi Isaia 7,14). 5:4 El se va infatisa, si va carmui cu puterea Domnului, si cu maretia Numelui Domnului, Dumnezeului Sau: vor locui linistiti, caci El va fi proslavit pana la marginile pamantului. . Se va infatisa. Sau ,,Va sta”. Ca ,,pastorul cel bun”, Mesia, Hristos, se va infatisa si va ,,sta” tare pentru ingrijirea si apararea oilor Sale. Va carmui. Sau ,,Va hrani”. LXX adauga ,,turma lui”. Pana la marginile pamantului. Stapanirea lui Mesia va fi universala (vezi Psalmi 2,7.8; 72,8; Luca 1,30-33). 5:5 El va fi pacea noastra! Cand va veni Asirianul in tara noastra, si va patrunde in palatele noastre, vom ridica impotriva lui sapte pastori si opt capetenii ale poporului. . Pacea. Propozitia spune literal, ,,si aceasta va fi pacea”. Daca ,,El” este inteles corect si daca referirea este la Mesia, propozitia aceasta poate fi comparata cu titlul ,,Domn al pacii” data lui Mesia de catre contemporanul lui Mica (Isaia 9,6). Isus nu numai ca va carmui in pace, dar chiar El este autorul si izvorul pacii (vezi Ioan 14,27; 16,33; Efeseni 2,13.14). Asirianul. Pe vremea profetiei lui Mica, Asiria era dusmanul principal al lui Israel, o amenintare sinistra pentru existenta lui (2Regi 18; 19). Intrucat aici este vorba despre Era Mesianica, Asiria este fara indoiala un reprezentant al acelor natiuni care s-ar fi impotrivit natiunii prospere a Israelului restaurat (vezi comentariul la Mica 4,11; vezi p. 30). Sapte pastori. Numerele ,,sapte” si ,,opt” date aici, desi semnifica un numar indefinit, arata ca Israel va avea o conducere adecvata impotriva agresiunii straine. 5:6 Ei vor pustii tara Asiriei cu sabia, si tara lui Nimrod cu sabia scoasa din teaca. Ne va izbavi astfel de Asirian, cand va veni in tara noastra, si va patrunde in tinutul nostru. . Pustii. Ebr. ra?ah, ,,a pastori”, ,,a ingriji”, intr-un sens adaptat, ,,a carmui”. Israel urma sa-si ,,carmuiasca” dusmanii cu ,,sabia”. Nimrod. Aici folosit ca un sinonim pentru Asiria. Nimrod vine de la radacina marad ,,a se razvrati”. Cu privire la Nimrod, vezi comentariul la Geneza 10,8-10. 5:7 Ramasita lui Iacov va fi in mijlocul multor popoare, ca o roua care vine de la Domnul, ca ploaia marunta pe iarba care nu se bizuie pe nimeni, si nu atarna de copiii oamenilor. . Ca o roua. Potrivit planului lui Dumnezeu cu vechiul Israel, victoria asupra opozitiei inamice avea sa fie urmata de un intens program de evanghelizare. Oamenii lui Israel urmau sa lumineze intreaga lume cu cunostinta lui Dumnezeu (vezi p. 26-30; comp. DA 27). Imaginile cu roua si ploaia erau extrem de adecvate intr-o regiune unde cam din mai pana in octombrie nu cadea deloc ploaie atat cat sa fie de folos (vezi Vol. II, p. 110). 5:8 Ramasita lui Iacov va fi intre neamuri, in mijlocul multor popoare, ca un leu intre fiarele padurii, ca un pui de leu intre turmele de oi: care, cand trece, calca in picioare si sfasie, si nimeni nu poate scapa pe altul. . Ca un leu. O ilustratie a puterii biruitoare. Era planul lui Dumnezeu ca poporul Lui sa fie ,,cap” si nu ,,coada” (Deuteronom 28,13). 5:9 Ti se va ridica mana peste potrivnicii tai, si toti vrajmasii tai vor fi nimiciti! . Vor fi nimiciti. Biruinta deplina era fagaduita (vezi Isaia 60,12). Acesta ar fi putut fi privilegiul lui Israel dupa exil. Totusi, poporul a dat gres, iar Dumnezeu Isi implineste acum planul de evanghelizare mondiala prin biserica crestina (vezi p. 35, 36). 5:10 In ziua aceea, zice Domnul, iti voi nimici cu desavarsire caii din mijlocul tau, si-ti voi sfarama carele; . Voi nimici. Versetele 10 si 11 descriu nimicirea acelor mijloace de razboi in care Israel se increzuse atunci cand ar fi trebuit sa se increada in Domnul. Sporirea numarului cailor era interzisa (Deuteronom 17,16; vezi comentariul la 1Regi 4,26). 5:11 voi nimici cu desavarsire cetatile din tara ta, si-ti voi surpa toate cetatuile. . Cetatile. Cetatile intarite si fortaretele fiind surse de sprijin omenesti, vor fi inlaturate. 5:12 Voi nimici cu desavarsire descantecele din mijlocul tau, si nu vei mai avea vrajitori; . Descantecele. Sau, ,,vrajitoriile”. Vrajitoria sau necromantia – consultarea mortilor – era obisnuita in vremurile de demult (vezi comentariul la Daniel 1,20; 2,2). Israelitilor le era interzisa practicarea vrajitoriei si a ghicitului, a prezisului (Deuteronom 18,9-12). 5:13 voi nimici cu desavarsire idolii tai si stalpii tai idolesti din mijlocul tau, si nu te vei mai inchina la lucrarea mainilor tale; . Idolii. Sau ,,chipurile cioplite”. Ebr. pesilim, de la pasal, ,,a taia”, ,,a ciopli”. Ugariticul psl inseamna ,,cioplitor de piatra”. Chipurile din vechime (numite si ele tot pesel) erau taiate din piatra, fasonate din lut, sculptate in lemn, sau turnate din metal topit. Inca din cele mai vechi timpuri Israel a dovedit o inclinatie spre idolatrie. Porunca a doua a Decalogului interzicea producerea si adorarea de pesel (Exod 20,4). Stalpii idolesti. Ebr. masseboth, ,,stalpi” (vezi comentariul la Deuteronom 16,22; 1Regi 14,23). Si astazi exista o incredere inselatoare in cele materiale si vremelnice, in lucrarea mainilor oamenilor, in loc de incredere si credinta in Dumnezeu care a dat ,,toate lucrurile din belsug, ca sa ne bucuram de ele”(1Timotei 6,17). In devotiunea lor idolatra fata de lucrurile facute, oamenii L-au uitat pe Acela care este Facatorul tuturor lucrurilor (vezi Deuteronom 8,17.20). 5:14 voi nimici cu desavarsire din mijlocul tau Astarteele tale, si-ti voi darama idolii. . Astarteele. Sau ,,Dumbravile”. Ebr. ’asherim (vezi comentariul la Deuteronom 16,21; 2Regi 17,10). 5:15 Imi voi razbuna cu manie, cu urgie, pe neamurile, care n-au vrut s-asculte. . Care. Propozitia introdus astfel poate fi tradusa ,,care n-au ascultat” sau ,,nu au luat seama”. ,,Si daca cel neprihanit scapa cu greu, ce se va face cel nelegiuit si cel pacatos?” (1Petru 4,18). Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
