42:1 Toate capeteniile ostilor, Iohanan, fiul lui Careah, Iezania, fiul lui Hosea, si tot poporul de la cel mai mic pana la cel mai mare, au inaintat, Iezania. Vezi cap. 40,8. In loc de Iezania LXX da aici numele de Azaria (vezi cap. 43,2). 42:2 si au zis prorocului Ieremia: Fie bine primita inaintea ta rugamintea noastra! Mijloceste pentru noi la Domnul, Dumnezeul tau, pentru toti cei ce au mai ramas, caci eram multi, dar am mai ramas numai un mic numar, cum bine vezi tu insuti cu ochii tai. Mijloceste pentru noi. Intrucat Ieremia se dusese la Mitpa (cap. 40,6), el era fara indoiala printre cei care au fost dusi de Ismael si salvati de Iohanan la Gabaon (cap. 41,10.13.14). Privind la el ca la adevaratul lor profet in al carui patriotism se putea pune incredere, tot poporul l-a solicitat sa ceara de la Dumnezeu in favoarea lor intelepciune si calauzire. 42:3 Binevoiasca Domnul, Dumnezeul tau, sa ne arate drumul pe care trebuie sa mergem si sa ne spuna ce avem de facut! Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 42:4 Prorocul Ieremia le-a zis: Am auzit! Iata ca ma voi ruga Domnului Dumnezeului vostru, dupa cererea voastra, si va voi face cunoscut, fara sa va ascund ceva, tot ce va va raspunde Domnul! Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 42:5 Atunci ei au zis lui Ieremia: Domnul sa fie un martor adevarat si credincios impotriva noastra, daca nu vom face tot ce-ti va porunci Domnul, Dumnezeul tau, sa ne spui! Atunci ei au zis. Acum, deplin smeriti din cauza suferintelor aduse asupra lor de invazia Babiloneana, poporul declara calduros deplina lui supunere la orice ar fi avut Dumnezeu in gand pentru ei. Ei s-au legat sa dea ascultare la ,,glasul Domnului” (v. 6). Vezi comentariul la v.20. 42:6 Fie bine, fie rau, noi vom asculta de glasul Domnului, Dumnezeului nostru, la care te trimitem, ca sa fim fericiti, ascultand de glasul Domnului, Dumnezeului nostru! Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 42:7 Dupa zece zile, cuvantul Domnului a vorbit lui Ieremia. Dupa zece zile. Acest interval de timp ar fi trebuit sa fie o dovada pentru popor, ca Ieremia nu dadea propriul sau raspuns, ci unul care venea prin el de la Dumnezeu dupa multa rugaciune si meditatie (vezi comentariul la Ieremia 24,4; comp. Ezechiel 3,15.16). 42:8 Si Ieremia a chemat pe Iohanan, fiul lui Careah, pe toate capeteniile ostilor, care erau cu el, si pe tot poporul, de la cel mai mic pana la cel mai mare, Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 42:9 si le-a zis: Asa vorbeste Domnul, Dumnezeul lui Israel, la care m-ati trimis, sa-I aduc inainte rugaciunile voastre: Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 42:10 Daca veti ramane in tara aceasta, va voi face sa propasiti in ea, si nu va voi nimici, va voi sadi si nu va voi smulge; caci Imi pare rau de raul, pe care vi l-am facut! Voi face sa propasiti. O reafirmare a intentiei lui Dumnezeu fata de poporul sau (vezi cap. 1,10; 18,7-10; 24,4-6; vezi comentariul la cap. 32,41). Imi pare rau. Vezi comentariul la Numeri 23,19. Aceasta nu vrea sa insemne intristare pentru ceea ce fusese facut in trecut, cum simt oamenii pentru faradelegile lor, ci o schimbare in intentia lui Dumnezeu de la pedeapsa la indurare datorita schimbarii atitudinii si actiunii oamenilor (vezi Ieremia 18,8; 26,3; vezi comentariul la Ioel 2,13). 42:11 Nu va temeti de imparatul Babilonului, de care va este frica; nu va temeti de el, zice Domnul, caci Eu sunt cu voi, ca sa va scap si sa va scot din mana lui. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 42:12 Ii voi insufla mila de voi, si se va indura de voi, si va va lasa sa locuiti in tara voastra. Va va lasa sa locuiti in tara voastra. Sau ,,Sa va intoarceti in tara voastra”. Aceasta poate fi inteleasa fie in sensul ca vor fi luati la Babilon, asa cum fusesera luati altii si mai tarziu, readusi in patria lor; sau ca ei, ca ,,ramasita” iudeilor, primind permisiunea de la haldei sa ramana acum in tara lor (2Regi 25,10-12.22), urmau cu siguranta sa se intoarca la propriile lor ogoare si vii. Pare evident ca Ieremia intentiona acest din urma sens. 42:13 Dar daca nu veti asculta de glasul Domnului, Dumnezeului vostru, si daca veti zice: Nu vrem sa ramanem in tara aceasta, Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 42:14 nu, ci vom merge in tara Egiptului, unde nu vom vedea nici razboiul, nici nu vom auzi glasul trambitei, nici nu vom duce lipsa de paine, si acolo vom locui! In tara Egiptului. Tara Nilului parea sa ofere un loc sigur si pasnic pentru locuit. Egiptul era granarul Rasaritului si recoltele lui bogate aveau sa ofere un placut si foarte de dorit contrast cu starile de foamete prin care trecuse ,,ramasita” (v. 2) din cauza invaziei Babiloniene. Insusi raspunsul profetului adresat poporului dadea dovada ca era inspirat de Dumnezeu. Intentiile, dorintele sau nadejdile poporului de a merge la Egipt (v. 14-20), in cIuda bunavointei lor exprimate de a urma sfatul Domnului, oricare ar fi fost el (vezi comentariul la v. 5), erau acum dezvaluite de Dumnezeu in solia aceasta data prin Ieremia. Dumnezeu in indurarea Sa nu a lasat poporul neavertizat cu privire la urmarile lepadarii soliei Sale (v. 16-18). 42:15 atunci, ascultati Cuvantul Domnului, ramasite ale lui Iuda: Asa vorbeste Domnul ostirilor, Dumnezeul lui Israel: Daca va veti indrepta fata sa mergeti in Egipt, daca va veti duce sa locuiti pentru o vreme acolo, Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 42:16 sabia de care va temeti va va ajunge acolo, in tara Egiptului, foametea de care va este frica se va lipi de voi acolo in Egipt si veti muri acolo. Va va ajunge acolo. Inca odata, Ieremia avertizeaza impotriva cautarii de ajutor la Egipt in loc de a se supune Babilonienilor (vezi cap. 2,36; 37,7-10). 42:17 Toti cei ce isi vor indrepta fata sa mearga in Egipt ca sa locuiasca pentru o vreme acolo, vor muri de sabie, de foamete sau de ciuma; nici unul nu va ramane, si nu va scapa de nenorocirile, pe care le voi aduce peste ei! Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 42:18 Caci asa vorbeste Domnul ostirilor, Dumnezeul lui Israel: Cum s-a varsat mania si urgia Mea peste locuitorii Ierusalimului, asa se va varsa urgia Mea si peste voi, daca veti merge in Egipt; veti fi o pricina de afurisenie, de groaza, de blestem si de ocara, si nu veti mai vedea niciodata locul acesta! Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 42:19 Ramasite ale lui Iuda, Domnul va zice: Nu va duceti in Egipt! Bagati bine de seama ca va opresc lucrul acesta astazi. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 42:20 Caci va inselati singuri, daca m-ati trimis la Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru, zicand: Mijloceste pentru noi la Domnul, Dumnezeul nostru, fa-ne cunoscut tot ce va spune Domnul, Dumnezeul nostru, si vom face! Va inselati singuri. Ravna intentiei declarate a poporului de a urma voia lui Dumnezeu era numai o pretentie. Ca si Balaam de pe vremuri (vezi comentariul la Numeri 22,20), poporul nadajduia ca Domnul va aproba un fel de purtare pe care ei doreau sa urmeze. Noi trebuie sa ne ferim totdeauna de a face aceeasi greseala in marile noastre decizii in viata. 42:21 Eu v-am spus astazi; dar voi n-ascultati glasul Domnului, Dumnezeului vostru, nici tot ce m-a insarcinat El sa va spun. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 42:22 De aceea sa stiti ca veti muri de sabie, de foamete sau de ciuma, in locul unde voiti sa va duceti sa locuiti! Verset ce nu a fost comentat. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
