24:1 Domnul mi-a aratat doua cosuri cu smochine, puse inaintea Templului Domnului, dupa ce Nebucadnetar, imparatul Babilonului, stramutase din Ierusalim si dusese in Babilon, pe Ieconia, fiul lui Ioiachim, imparatul lui Iuda, pe capeteniile lui Iuda, pe lemnari si fierari. Mi-a aratat. [,,Ma facu sa vad,” trd. Nitz.; ,,Ma facu sa vad aceasta vedenie,” trd. G.Gal.]. Vezi Ier 1,11-13; Zah 1,8. Nebucadnetar. Vezi la cap. 21,2. Ieconia. Vezi la cap. 22,24. Contextul vrea sa spuna ca vedenia a venit la scurta vreme dupa ce Ioiachim a fost luat rob (597 in.Hr.), posibil inainte de sfarsitul anului. Capetenii. [,,Mai marii,” trd. Nitz.; ,,Dregatorii,” trd. G.Gal.]. Conducatorii lui Iuda (vezi cap. 27,30). Lemnari si fierari. [,,Mestesugari si faurari,” trd. G.Gal.]. Literal, ,,artizani si faurari,” (vezi 2Rg 24,14). Ducerea acestor mestesugari iscusiti a restrans posibilitatea de a face arme sau adaposturi (vezi la 1Sa 13,19), si neindoios ca a inzestrat pe Nebucadnetar cu un plus de mestesugari iscusiti pentru construirea maretelor cladiri pe care el le ridica in Babilon. 24:2 Unul din cosuri avea smochine foarte bune, ca smochinele care se coc intai, iar celalalt cos avea smochine foarte rele, care nu se puteau manca de rele ce erau. Se coc intai. De obicei smochinele se culegeau la inceputul lui august. Cele care erau ,,cele dintai roade” (Osea 9,10), ,,poamele de vara” (Mica 7,1, G.Gal.), ,,smochina timpurie” (Isa 28,4), erau socotite ca o deosebita delicatesa. Foarte rele. Aceste smochine nu puteau fi mancate, poate fiindca erau stricate sau erau de un soi cu gust rau. 24:3 Domnul mi-a zis: Ce vezi, Ieremio? Eu am raspuns: Niste smochine! Smochinele cele bune sunt foarte bune, iar cele rele sunt foarte rele si, de rele ce sunt, nu se pot manca. Ce vezi? Intrebarea urmarea sa intipareasca in mintea lui Ieremia insemnatatea simbolurilor. 24:4 Cuvantul Domnului mi-a vorbit astfel: Cuvantul Domnului. Se vede ca profetului i s-a dat un oarecare ragaz pana ce ,,cuvantul Domnului i-a vorbit,” spre a reflecta asupra celor ce vazuse, desi intervalul trebuie sa fi fost foarte scurt. 24:5 Asa vorbeste Domnul, Dumnezeul lui Israel: Cum deosebesti tu aceste smochine bune, asa voi deosebi Eu, ca sa le dau indurare, pe prinsii de razboi ai lui Iuda, pe care i-am trimis din locul acesta in tara Haldeilor; Cum deosebesti tu aceste smochine bune. [,,Ca aceste smochine bune,” KJV; ,,Precum aceste smochine sunt bune,” trd. Nitz.; ,,Precum te uiti cu jind la smochinele bune,” trd. G.Gal.]. ,,Prinsii de razboi” urmau sa aiba o soarta mai buna decat care ramasesera (vezi la vers. 6). Ei se aratau dispusi sa primeasca acea cale randuita de Dumnezeu chiar daca aceasta insemna robia lor. 24:6 Ii voi privi cu un ochi binevoitor, si-i voi aduce inapoi in tara aceasta: ii voi aseza si nu-i voi mai nimici, ii voi sadi si nu-i voi mai smulge. Ochi binevoitor. Din punct de vedere material si economic, starea iudeilor in Babilon pe vremea reintoarcerii din robie era mult mai buna decat aceea de sclavi sau prinsi de razboi (vezi Ier 29,4-7.28; comp. Eze 2,1.64-70). Cartile Ezra si Neemia arata favoarea binevoitoare de care s-au bucurat prinsii din Iuda sub monarhii persani. Experienta lui Daniel si a tovarasilor lui dovedeste cat de sus se puteau ridica evreii in cercurile de guvernamant. Intr-adevar din pricina acestei multumitoare stari de lucruri multi din prinsii iudei nu s-au intors in tara lor de bastina cand li s-a dat aceasta ocazie. Insa adevarata bunavointa sau adevaratul bine pe care Dumnezeu il avea in gand pentru prinsii de razboi era restabilirea lor in Palestina si deplina lor restatornicire in privilegiile legamantului. 24:7 Le voi da o inima ca sa inteleaga ca Eu sunt Domnul. Ei vor fi poporul Meu, iar Eu voi fi Dumnezeul lor, daca se vor intoarce la Mine cu toata inima lor. Voi fi Dumnezeul lor. Intr-o oarecare masura acest lucru s-a implinit in istoria postexilica a iudeilor, asa cum arata faptul ca niciodata dupa aceea, ei nu au mai fost inchinatori la idoli. Captivitatea i-a curatat efectiv de toate tendintele in aceasta directie. Totusi, fagaduinta a adus dupa sine restaurarea totala a privilegiilor legamantului. 24:8 Si ca smochinele cele rele care, de rele ce sunt, nu se pot manca, zice Domnul, asa voi face sa ajunga Zedechia, imparatul lui Iuda, capeteniile lui, si ramasita Ierusalimului, cei ce au ramas in tara aceasta si cei ce locuiesc in tara Egiptului. Cei ce au ramas in tara aceasta. Vezi la vers. 5. Istoria ulterioara descopera ca cei ramasi inapoi o dusesera mult mai rau decat cei ce fusesera dusi robi (vezi la vers. 9, 10). In tara Egiptului. Cei care traiau in Egipt neindoios aveau sa impartaseasca soarta celor care mai tarziu fugisera din tara (vezi cap. 44,26-30). 24:9 Ii voi face de pomina, o pricina de nenorocire pentru toate imparatiile pamantului, de ocara, de batjocura, de ras, si de blestem, in toate locurile unde ii voi izgoni. Ii voi face de pomina. [,,Ii voi da sa fie indepartati,” KJV; ,,Si-i voi da pilda infricosata de nenorocire,” trd. G.Gal.]. Adica, experienta trista a lui Iuda va umple de groaza alte imparatii. 24:10 Voi trimite in ei sabia, foametea si ciuma, pana vor pieri din tara pe care le-o dadusem lor si parintilor lor. Sabia. Vezi la cap. 14,12. Din tara pe care le-o dadusem. Culminarea pedepsirii celor neascultatori este deplina indepartare din tara mostenirii lor, fie aceasta prin exil, fuga sau moarte. Multi dintre evreii care ramasesera in Iudeea dupa cea de-a treia deportare in Babilon in 586 in.Hr., au fugit de buna voie in Egipt dupa omorarea lui Ghedalia, cateva luni mai tarziu. Eu au facut aceasta in ciuda avertizarii date de Ieremia ca o asemenea fapta urma sa ruineze insusi scopul care o determina. Teama de o suferinta ulterioara in urma actiunilor lui Nebucadnetar (vezi la cap. 4,2). Nu e deloc de mirare ca Dumnezeu infatisa pe acesti oameni striati ca pe niste ,,smochine rele.” |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
