46:1 Bel se prabuseste, Nebo cade; idolii lor sunt pusi pe vite si dobitoace; idolii pe care-i purtati voi au ajuns o sarcina, o povara pentru vita obosita! Bel se prabuseste. In capitolele 40,19.20; 41,23.24; 44,9-20; 45,16 Isaia a aratat nebunia inchinarii la idoli; aici el vorbeste in special de zeii Babilonului. Bel, care inseamna ,,domn” era titlul dat lui Marduc, zeul protector al Babilonului (Ieremia 50,2; 51,44). In timpul festivitatilor de Anul Nou regii babilonieni ,,luau mainile lui Marduc” si primeau confirmarea regalitatii lor pentru anul care urma. Aceeasi practica era urmata si de regii Asiriei dupa ce au devenit stapani ai Babilonului (vezi Vol. II, p. 61). Numele Bel apare in numele Beltsatar (Daniel 1,7) si Belsatar (Daniel 5.1). Nebo. Sau Nabu, zeul babilonian al stiintei si literaturii. Centrul cultului lui era la Borsipa, aproape de Babilon. El a ajuns intr-o pozitie care era depasita numai de Marduc, fiind privit ca fiul lui. Nebu aducea omagiu tatalui sau, la sarbatoarea Anului Nou (vezi mai jos). In schimb, Marduc il insotea pe Nebu o parte din drumul de inapoiere la Borsipa. Numele Nebu compune numele Nebucadnetar (vezi comentariul la Daniel 1,1) si Nabopolasar. Pe vite. In calatoriile mai sus amintite, Bel si Nebo erau purtati de oameni sau pe spinarea vitelor. In contrast Dumnezeul lui Israel Si-a purtat si izbavit poporul (v. 3). In timp ce Bel si Nebo cereau ajutorul inchinatorilor lor, adevaratul Dumnezeu era El ajutorul celor care I se inchinau. 46:2 Au cazut, s-au prabusit impreuna, nu pot sa scape povara; ei insisi se duc in robie. Se duc in robie. Cand Sanherib a distrus cetatea Babilonului in 689 i.Hr., el a adus statuia lui Marduc la Asur ca pe una din prazile de razboi (vezi Vol. II, p. 64,65). Idolul acesta a ramas acolo pana la domnia lui Asurbanipal, cand a fost readus la Babilon. Isaia descrie in mod viu deplina neajutorare a celor mai mari din zeii babilonieni. 46:3 Ascultati-Ma, casa lui Iacov, si toata ramasita casei lui Israel, voi, pe care v-am luat in spinare de la obarsia voastra, pe care v-am purtat pe umar de la nasterea voastra: V-am purtat. Vezi comentariul la Isaia 46,1, comp. Deuteronom 1,31; Isaia 63,9. 46:4 pana la batranetea voastra Eu voi fi Acelasi, pana la caruntetele voastre va voi sprijini. V-am purtat, si tot vreau sa va mai port, sa va sprijinesc si sa va mantuiesc. Pana la batranete voastra. Domnul nu va inceta niciodata sa poarte grija alor Sai. Toata viata El va veghea asupra lor asa cum parintii iubitori vegheaza asupra copiilor lor. 46:5 Cu cine Ma veti pune alaturi, ca sa Ma asemanati? Cu cine Ma veti asemana, si ma veti potrivi? Cu cine Ma veti pune alaturi ca sa Ma asemanati? Isaia pune de repetate ori intrebarea aceasta (vezi comentariul la cap. 40,18.25). 46:6 Ei varsa aurul din punga, si cantaresc argintul in cumpana; tocmesc un argintar sa faca un dumnezeu din ele, si se inchina si ingenunchiaza inaintea lui. Sa faca un Dumnezeu din ele. Vezi comentariul la cap. 40,19.20; 41,7; comp. cap. 44,9-17. Cand oamenii Il cunosc pe Dumnezeu si totusi refuza sa-L cinsteasca, inima lor neinteleapta se intuneca si falindu-se ,,ca sunt intelepti” au innebunit. 46:7 Il poarta, il iau pe umar, il pun la locul lui; acolo ramane, si nu se misca din locul lui. Apoi striga la el, dar nu raspunde, nici nu-i scapa din nevoie. Il poarta. Vezi comentariul la v. 1. Nu raspunde. Vezi comentariul la cap. 44,9; vezi Psalmi 145,5. Lemnul sau aurul fasonat in chip de idol este tot un material neinsufletit, neinstare sa auda strigatul sufletului omenesc. In ceasurile de nevoie disperata oamenii Il cauta pe Dumnezeu care poate sa auda strigatul inimii lor si care poate sa le implineasca nevoile (vezi Psalmi 107,9). Idolii nu fac altceva decat sa lase un gol dureros in sufletul oamenilor care li se inchina. 46:8 Tineti minte aceste lucruri, si fiti oameni! Veniti-va in fire, pacatosilor. Tineti minte aceste lucruri. Din timpurile cele mai de demult Dumnezeu il avertizase pe Israel de relele calcarii de lege (Deuteronom 28,14-68; 32,37-41), totusi ei nu au luat aminte (Isaia 6,9.10). Acum, Isaia repeta aceeasi solie (cap. 1,2.4.5.21-23; 43,27; 58,1; 59,13) in nadejdea de a scapa natiunea de dezastru. Cu privire la primejdia de a-L parasi pe Dumnezeu, vezi Deuteronom 6,12; 8,11; Romani 1,21-23; vezi comentariul la Exod 20,8. ,,De nimic nu avem sa ne temem pentru viitor, decat sa uitam calea pe care ne-a condus Domnul, si invatatura lui in istoria noastra trecuta” (LS 196). 46:9 Aduceti-va aminte de cele petrecute in vremurile strabune; caci Eu sunt Dumnezeu, si nu este altul, Eu sunt Dumnezeu, si nu este nici unul ca Mine. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 46:10 Eu am vestit de la inceput ce are sa se intample si cu mult inainte ce nu este inca implinit. Eu zic: Hotararile Mele vor ramane in picioare, si Imi voi aduce la indeplinire toata voia Mea. Am vestit de la inceput ce are sa se intample. Vezi comentariul la cap. 41,4.22; comp. cap. 44,7; 45,21. Hotararile mele vor ramane in picioare. Isaia a prezentat de repetate ori argumentul acesta al autoritatii si puterii supreme a lui Dumnezeu (vezi comentariul la cap. 14,24; comp. cap. 14,26.27; 43,13). Istoria nu este o simpla chestiune de intamplare (vezi comentariul la Daniel 4,17). Dumnezeu are un scop pentru lume si scopul acela se va implini (vezi comentariul la Isaia 45,18,19). 46:11 Eu chem de la rasarit o pasare de prada, dintr-o tara departata, un om ca sa implineasca planurile Mele: da, Eu am spus, si Eu voi implini; Eu am planuit si Eu voi infaptui. De la rasarit o pasare de prada. Expresia aceasta il prefigureaza pe Cir (vezi comentariul la cap. 41,2; 44,28; 45,1). Cir a fost un ,,pastor” pentru turma imprastiata a lui Israel, dar o pasare de prada pentru Babilon, vrajmasul poporului lui Dumnezeu. 46:12 Ascultati-Ma, oameni cu inima impietrita, vrajmasi ai neprihanirii! Oamenii cu inima impietrita. Literal ,,tari de inima” (vezi comentariul la Ezechiel 4,21). Poporul declarat al lui Dumnezeu se aratase impietrit si incapatanat. Ei nu voiau sa asculte nici de Dumnezeu, nici de ratiune. Incapatanarea este arhivrajmasul dreptatii in timp ce smerenia este ruda cu evlavia (vezi comentariul la Matei 5,5). 46:13 Eu Imi apropii neprihanirea: nu este departe; si mantuirea Mea nu va zabovi. Eu voi pune mantuirea Mea in Sion si slava Mea peste Israel. Imi apropii neprihanirea [Dreptatea, KJV]. Adica Dumnezeu isi va elibera intr-o zi poporul din Babilon prin Cir (cap. 45,13). Eliberarea din Babilon este o prefigurarea a eliberarii din pacat savarsite de Hristos. Nu va zabovi. Captivitatea babiloniana urma sa fie pentru o perioada de 70 de ani (Ieremia 25,11.12; 29,10), la finele carora Iudeii urmau sa se intoarca in patria lor sub decretul lui Cir (2Cronici 36,21-23; Ezra 1,1-4). Catre finele celor 70 de ani Domnul i-a descoperit lui Daniel profetia restaurarii si venirea lui Mesia (Daniel 9,2.24.25). Profetii se refera adesea la venirea lui Mesia ca apogeul lucrarii de restaurare care a inceput cu intoarcerea din captivitate (vezi Zaharia 6,11-13; etc.). Daca Israel s-ar fi dovedit credincios, istoria planului mantuirii ar fi ajuns curand la maretul ei apogeu (vezi p. 29,30). COMENTARIILE LUI ELLEN G. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
