17:1 MAREA STRIGARE 17:2 Aşa după cum e profetizat în capitolul optsprezece din Apocalips, solia îngerului al treilea trebuie să fie proclamată cu mare putere de aceia care dau avertizarea finală cu privire la fiară şi la chipul ei: "Am văzut pogorându-se din cer un alt înger, care avea o mare putere; şi pământul s-a luminat de slava lui. El a strigat cu glas tare şi a zis: 'A căzut, a căzut, Babilonul cel mare! A ajuns un locaş al dracilor, o închisoare a oricărui duh necurat, o închisoare a oricărei păsări necurate şi urâte; pentru că toate neamurile au băut din vinul mâniei curviei ei, şi împăraţii pământului au curvit cu ea şi negustorii pământului s-au îmbogăţit prin risipa desfătării ei.' Apoi am auzit din cer un alt glas, care zicea: 'Ieşiţi din mijlocul ei, poporul Meu, ca să nu fiţi părtaşi la păcatele ei, şi să nu fiţi loviţi cu urgiile ei! Pentru că păcatele ei s-au îngrămădit şi au ajuns până la cer; şi Dumnezeu Şi-a adus aminte de nelegiuirile ei. Răsplătiţi-i cum v-a răsplătit ea, şi întoarceţi-i de două ori cât faptele ei. Turnaţi-i îndoit în potirul în care a amestecat ea!'" Aceasta e solia dată de Dumnezeu pentru a fi vestită în strigarea cea tare a îngerului al treilea. 17:3 Aceia, a căror credinţă şi al căror zel sunt proporţionale cu cunoaşterea adevărului pe care o au, îşi vor da pe faţă loialitatea faţă de Dumnezeu, făcându-le cunoscut celor dimprejurul lor adevărul, în toată puterea lui salvatoare şi sfinţitoare. Viaţa lor, de slujire sfântă şi neegoistă, va fi în conformitate cu principiile vitale ale Împărăţiei cerului. 17:4 "ŞI AI UITAT" 17:5 E un adevăr solemn şi teribil că mulţi dintre cei care au fost zeloşi în proclamarea soliei îngerului al treilea devin acum neatenţi şi nepăsători! Aproape că nu se mai distinge linia de demarcaţie dintre oamenii din lume şi aşa-zişii 17:6 creştini. Mulţi dintre cei care pe vremuri erau adventişti zeloşi se conformează acum lumii - felului ei de purtare, obiceiurilor şi egoismului ei. În loc să călăuzească lumea, ca să asculte de Legea lui Dumnezeu, biserica se uneşte tot mai mult cu lumea în neascultare. În fiecare zi, biserica se îndreaptă spre lume. Cât de mulţi aşa-zişi creştini sunt sclavi ai lui Mamona! Lăsarea în voia apetitului, cheltuirea extravagantă a banilor pentru satisfacţii egoiste Îl dezonorează foarte mult pe Dumnezeu. 17:7 Iar prin lipsa de zel în vestirea soliei îngerului al treilea, mulţi alţii, deşi în aparenţă nu trăiesc în neascultare, îşi pun influenţa de partea lui Satana, cum fac şi aceia care păcătuiesc pe faţă împotriva lui Dumnezeu. Mulţime de oameni pier; dar cât de puţini simt povara pentru aceste suflete! Asupra multora din poporul lui Dumnezeu zace o încremenire, o paralizie, care-i împiedică să înţeleagă datoria ceasului de faţă. 17:8 Când au intrat în Canaan, izraeliţii n-au realizat planul lui Dumnezeu de a lua în stăpânire întreaga ţară. După o cucerire parţială, ei s-au aşezat locului pentru a se bucura de rodul victoriilor lor. În necredinţa şi iubirea lor de tihnă, s-au îngrămădit în părţile cucerite până atunci, în loc să înainteze şi să ocupe teritorii noi. În felul acesta, au început să se îndepărteze de Dumnezeu. Prin faptul că nu au ajuns să realizeze scopul Lui, ei au făcut să fie cu neputinţă pentru Dumnezeu să împlinească faţă de ei făgăduinţa Lui de binecuvântare. 17:9 Nu face biserica de astăzi acelaşi lucru? Având în faţă întreaga lume care duce lipsă de Evanghelie, aşa-zişii creştini se îngrămădesc acolo unde pot să se bucure de privilegiile Evangheliei. Ei nu simt nevoia de a ocupa teritorii noi, ducând solia mântuirii în regiunile îndepărtate. Ei refuză să împlinească însărcinarea lui Hristos: "Mergeţi în toată lumea şi predicaţi Evanghelia la orice făptură". Sunt ei mai puţin vinovaţi decât era biserica iudeilor? 17:10 "ALEGEŢI ASTĂZI CUI VREŢI SĂ SLUJIŢI" 17:11 Va fi un conflict aspru între aceia care sunt credincioşi lui Dumnezeu şi aceia care aruncă ocară asupra Legii Sale. Respectul pentru Legea lui Dumnezeu a fost dărâmat. Conducătorii religioşi propovăduiesc drept doctrină poruncile oamenilor. Cum era în zilele vechiului Israel, aşa este şi în veacul acesta lumesc. Dar, pentru că necredincioşia şi nelegiuirea domină, vor oare aceia care au respectat Legea lui Dumnezeu să cultive acum mai puţin respect pentru ea? Se vor uni ei cu puterile pământului pentru a o face fără valoare? Cei loiali nu vor fi luaţi şi abătuţi de curentul răului. Ei nu vor arunca dispreţ asupra lucrurilor pe care Dumnezeu le-a pus deoparte ca sfinte. Ei nu vor urma exemplul de uitare neglijentă al lui Israel; ei îşi vor aduce aminte de felul de purtare al lui Dumnezeu cu poporul Său în toate timpurile şi vor merge pe calea poruncilor Lui. 17:12 Fiecare este pus la probă. Nu sunt decât două părţi. De care parte eşti tu? 17:13 SCUTUL ATOTPUTERNICIEI 17:14 Poporul lui Dumnezeu care ţine poruncile stă sub scutul cuprinzător al Celui Atotputernic. 17:15 "Cel ce stă sub ocrotirea Celui Prea Înalt 17:16 Şi se odihneşte la umbra Celui Atotputernic, 17:17 Zice despre Domnul: 'El este locul meu de scăpare, şi cetăţuia mea, 17:18 Dumnezeul meu în care mă încred!' 17:19 Da, El te scapă de laţul vânătorului, 17:20 De ciumă şi de pustiirile ei. 17:21 El te va acoperi cu penele Lui, 17:22 Şi te vei ascunde sub aripile Lui. 17:23 Căci scut şi pavăză este credincioşia Lui! 17:24 Nu trebuie să te temi nici de groaza din timpul nopţii, 17:25 Nici de săgeata care zboară ziua 17:26 Nici de ciuma, care umblă în întuneric, 17:27 Nici de molima, care bântuie ziua namiaza mare. 17:28 O mie să cadă alături de tine 17:29 Şi zece mii la dreapta ta, 17:30 Dar de tine nu se va apropia. 17:31 Doar vei privi cu ochii 17:32 Şi vei vedea răsplătirea celor răi. 17:33 Pentru că zici: 'Domnul este locul meu de adăpost!' 17:34 Şi faci din Cel Prea Înalt turnul tău de scăpare, 17:35 De aceea nici o nenorocire nu te va ajunge, 17:36 Nici o urgie nu se va apropia de cortul tău. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
