42:1 Cap. 40 - Exercitarea voinţei 42:2 Adevărata religie are de-a face cu voinţa. Voinţa este puterea care guvernează natura omului, aducând toate celelalte facultăţi sub comanda sa. Voinţa nu este gustul sau înclinaţia, ci este puterea de decizie care lucrează în fiii oamenilor, spre ascultarea sau neascultarea faţă de Dumnezeu. 42:3 Nesiguranţă şi îndoială 42:4 Tu eşti un tânăr inteligent, vrei să faci ca viaţa ta să fie potrivită pentru cer. Adesea eşti descurajat şi ai o slabă putere morală, sclav al îndoielii, fiind controlat de obiceiuri şi tendinţe ale vechii tale vieţi de păcat. Tu crezi că natura ta emoţională nu-ţi este loială în vederea celor mai bune decizii şi a celor mai solemne promisiuni. Nimic nu pare real. Propria ta nesiguranţă te face să te îndoieşti de sinceritatea celor care vor să-ţi facă bine. Cu cât te lupţi mai mult cu îndoiala, cu atât mai puţin real îţi pare totul, până când ţi se pare că nici un loc nu este sigur pentru tine. Promisiunile tale sunt asemenea unor funii de nisip şi vezi în aceeaşi lumină ireală cuvintele şi lucrările celor în care ar trebui să ai încredere. 42:5 Putere prin supunerea voinţei 42:6 Vei fi într-un pericol permanent până vei înţelege adevărata forţă a voinţei. Poţi crede şi promite toate lucrurile, dar promisiunile şi credinţa ta 42:7 nu au valoare până când nu adaugi voinţa de partea credinţei şi a acţiunii. Dacă lupţi lupta credinţei cu toată puterea voinţei, vei cuceri. Sentimentele, impresiile, emoţiile tale nu sunt demne de încredere, pentru că nu sunt sigure, în special datorită ideilor tale pervertite; conştienţa promisiunilor încălcate şi a legămintelor nerespectate îţi slăbeşte încrederea în tine însuţi şi încrederea altora în tine. 42:8 Dar nu trebuie să disperi. Trebuie să fii hotărât să crezi, deşi nimic nu ţi se pare adevărat şi real. Nu mai este nevoie să-ţi spun că tu singur te-ai adus în această situaţie neconvenabilă. Trebuie să-ţi recâştigi încrederea în Dumnezeu şi în fraţii tăi. Depinde de tine să-ţi supui voinţa voinţei lui Isus Hristos şi, de îndată ce faci aceasta, Dumnezeu va prelua controlul şi va lucra în tine şi voinţa şi înfăptuirea după buna Sa plăcere. Întreaga ta natură va fi adusă sub controlul Spiritului lui Hristos şi până şi gândurile tale vor fi aduse în subordonare faţă de El. 42:9 Nu-ţi poţi controla impulsurile aşa cum ai dori, dar îţi poţi controla voinţa şi poţi face o schimbare totală în viaţa ta. Prin predarea voinţei tale lui Hristos, viaţa ta va fi ascunsă cu Hristos în Dumnezeu şi aliată cu puterea ce este deasupra tuturor puterilor. Vei avea tărie de la Dumnezeu, care te va lega cu repeziciune de puterea Sa şi astfel o lumină nouă, chiar lumina credinţei vii, va străluci asupra ta. Dar voinţa ta trebuie să colaboreze cu voinţa lui Dumnezeu, nu cu voinţa prietenilor prin care Satana lucrează mereu să te înşele şi să te distrugă. 42:10 Nu vrei ca, fără întârziere, să te aşezi într-o dreaptă legătură cu Dumnezeu? Nu vrei să spui: "Îmi voi preda voinţa lui Isus şi o voi face chiar acum" şi din acest moment să fii în întregime de partea lui Dumnezeu? Nu mai da atenţie obiceiurilor, puterii apetitului şi pasiunii. Nu-i da lui Satana nici o şansă să spună: "Eşti un ipocrit nenorocit". Închide uşa astfel încât Satana să nu te poată acuza şi descuraja. Spune: "Cred, da, cred că Dumnezeu este ajutorul meu" şi vei descoperi că eşti biruitor în Domnul. Prin păstrarea fermă a voinţei de partea lui Dumnezeu, fiecare emoţie va fi supusă voinţei lui Isus. Atunci vei descoperi că ai picioarele pe o stâncă solidă. Aceasta va cere adesea fiecare fărâmă a puterii voinţei pe care o ai, dar Dumnezeu este Acela care lucrează pentru tine şi vei ieşi din acest proces de modelare un vas de onoare. 42:11 Voinţa lui Dumnezeu unită cu voinţa omului 42:12 Vorbeşte despre credinţă. Păstrează-te de partea lui Dumnezeu. Nu-ţi pune piciorul de partea inamicului şi Dumnezeu va fi ajutorul tău. El va face pentru tine ceea ce ţie îţi este imposibil să faci. Rezultatul va fi acela că tu vei deveni asemenea unui "cedru din Liban". Viaţa ta va fi înnobilată, iar faptele tale vor fi săvârşite în Dumnezeu. Va fi atunci în tine o putere, un zel şi o simplitate care te vor face un instrument lustruit în mâinile lui Dumnezeu. 42:13 Ai nevoie să bei zilnic din fântâna adevărului ca să înţelegi secretul plăcerii şi bucuriei în Domnul. Dar trebuie să-ţi aminteşti că voinţa e izvorul tuturor acţiunilor tale. Această 42:14 voinţă, care reprezintă un factor atât de important în formarea caracterului omului, a fost dată în mâna lui Satana la cădere; şi de atunci el lucrează în om şi voinţa şi înfăptuirea propriilor sale plăceri, dar spre ruina şi mizeria totală a omului. 42:15 Dar sacrificiul infinit al lui Dumnezeu, de a-L da pe iubitul Său Fiu Isus pentru a deveni o jertfă pentru păcat, Îl îndreptăţeşte să spună, fără să încalce vreun principiu al guvernării Sale: "Predă-te Mie, dă-Mi Mie voinţa ta, ia-o de sub controlul lui Satana şi Eu o voi lua în stăpânire; apoi voi putea lucra în tine şi voinţa şi înfăptuirea după buna Mea plăcere". Când El dă gândul lui Hristos, voinţa ta devine ca a Lui, iar caracterul tău este transformat pentru a fi ca al lui Hristos. Este scopul tău să faci voia lui Dumnezeu? Vrei să asculţi ce zice Scriptura? "Dacă voieşte cineva să vină după Mine, să se lepede de sine, să-şi ia crucea şi să Mă urmeze." 42:16 Nu există altceva mai de preţ decât să-L urmezi pe Domnul Hristos, atunci când refuzi să-ţi satisfaci înclinaţiile şi te hotărăşti să asculţi de Dumnezeu. Nu sentimentele şi emoţiile fac din tine un copil al lui Dumnezeu, ci doar ascultarea de voinţa lui Dumnezeu. O viaţă plină de utilitate se profilează înaintea ta, dacă voinţa ta devine voinţa lui Dumnezeu. Atunci vei putea sta în puterea dată de Dumnezeu ca un exemplu de fapte bune. Te vei conforma regulilor de menţinere a disciplinei, în loc să ajuţi la prăbuşirea lor. Vei ajuta la menţinerea ordinii, în loc de a o dispreţui şi de a incita la dezordine în viaţă, conform propriului tău fel de a acţiona. 42:17 Îţi spun în temere de Dumnezeu: Ştiu ce ai putea fi, dacă voinţa ta este plasată de partea Domnului. 42:18 "Căci noi suntem împreună-lucrători cu Dumnezeu. Poţi să-ţi faci lucrarea pentru acum şi pentru veşnicie în aşa fel încât să reziste testului judecăţii. Vrei să încerci? Nu vrei să faci acum o schimbare radicală? Eşti obiectul dragostei şi mijlocirii lui Hristos. Te vei preda acum lui Dumnezeu şi-i vei ajuta pe cei care sunt aşezaţi ca santinele în apărarea lucrării Sale, în loc să le produci durere şi descurajare? - 5T 513-516 42:19 _________ 42:20 Un efort special este esenţial 42:21 Dumnezeu ne-a stabilit mijloace şi, dacă le vom folosi cu hărnicie şi cu rugăciune, nici un vas nu va naufragia, ci va înfrunta orice vijelie şi furtună şi în final va ancora în cerul plin de fericire. Dar, dacă vom neglija şi dispreţui aceste mijloace şi privilegii, Dumnezeu nu va face un miracol pentru a salva pe nici unul dintre noi şi vom fi pierduţi aşa cum au fost Iuda şi Satana. 42:22 Să nu credeţi că Dumnezeu va face un miracol să salveze acele suflete slabe care preţuiesc răul şi care practică păcatul sau că un element supranatural va fi adus în vieţile lor, ridicându-i spre sfere mai înalte, unde, prin comparaţie, vor face munci mai uşoare, fără nici un efort special, fără nici o luptă sau fără crucificarea eului; pentru că aceia care pierd vremea pe terenul lui Satana vor pieri la fel ca răufăcătorii. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
