44:1 MAREA APOSTAZIE 44:2 Mi-a fost arătat timpul în care păgânii idolatri i-au prigonit şi i-au ucis cu cruzime pe creştini. Sângele curgea în şuvoaie. Nobili, învăţaţi şi oameni de rând erau deopotrivă ucişi fără milă. Familii bogate erau scufundate în sărăcie pentru că nu voiau să renunţe la religia lor. În ciuda persecuţiei şi suferinţelor îndurate de aceşti creştini, ei nu au coborât standardul. Şi-au păstrat religia curată. Am văzut că Satana jubila şi triumfa când le provoca suferinţe. Dar Dumnezeu privea aprobator asupra martirilor Săi credincioşi. Creştinii care au trăit în acea perioadă înfricoşătoare au fost foarte iubiţi de El, pentru că erau dispuşi să sufere de dragul Lui. Fiecare suferinţă îndurată de aceştia a făcut ca răsplata lor să sporească în cer. 44:3 Deşi se bucura de suferinţele sfinţilor, Satana nu era satisfăcut. Voia să aibă control şi asupra trupului, şi asupra minţii. Suferinţele pe care le suportau nu făceau decât să-i apropie şi mai mult de Domnul şi să se teamă mai mult ca oricând să-L jignească. Satana dorea să-i determine să nu mai fie plăcuţi lui Dumnezeu; atunci aveau să-şi piardă puterea, curajul şi statornicia. Deşi au fost ucişi cu miile, alţii se ridicau pentru a le ocupa locurile. Satana a văzut că-şi pierde supuşii; căci, chiar dacă sufereau persecuţia şi moartea, ei ajungeau ai lui Isus Hristos, supuşi ai Împărăţiei Lui. Din această cauză, şi-a făcut noi planuri pentru a lucra cu mai mult succes împotriva guvernării lui Dumnezeu şi pentru a birui biserica. I-a condus pe păgânii idolatri să îmbrăţişeze o parte a credinţei creştine. Aceştia au mărturisit credinţa în răstignirea 44:4 şi învierea lui Hristos şi şi-au propus să se alăture urmaşilor lui Isus fără a avea loc o schimbare în inimile lor. O, în ce primejdie înfricoşătoare s-a aflat biserica! A fost un timp de mare chin sufletesc şi mental. Unii s-au gândit că, dacă vor coborî şi se vor uni cu acei idolatri care îmbrăţişaseră o parte a credinţei creştine, acesta va fi exact mijlocul prin care să fie pe deplin convertiţi. Satana căuta să corupă învăţăturile Bibliei. 44:5 Am văzut că, în cele din urmă, standardul a fost coborât şi că păgânii se uneau cu creştinii. Deşi mărturiseau că sunt convertiţi, aceşti închinători la idoli şi-au adus idolatria cu ei în biserică, schimbând doar obiectele idolatriei - în chipuri de sfinţi şi chiar ale lui Hristos şi ale Mariei, mamei Sale. Prin unirea treptată a urmaşilor lui Hristos cu aceştia, religia creştină a devenit întinată şi biserica şi-a pierdut curăţia şi puterea. Unii au refuzat să se alăture acestora; astfel de persoane şi-au păstrat curăţia şi I s-au închinat numai lui Dumnezeu. Ei nu voiau să se închine înaintea vreunui chip făcut după ceva care era în cer, pe pământ sau în apele mai de jos decât pământul. 44:6 Satana a jubilat văzând căderea atâtor oameni; apoi a aţâţat biserica apostaziată să-i silească pe cei care doreau să-şi păstreze puritatea religiei fie să cedeze în faţa ceremoniilor şi închinării la chipuri, fie să accepte moartea. Focurile prigoanei au fost iarăşi aprinse împotriva adevăratei biserici a lui Hristos şi milioane de oameni au fost ucişi fără milă. 44:7 Acest lucru mi-a fost arătat în felul următor: un grup mare de păgâni idolatri purtau un steag negru pe care erau desenate soarele, luna şi stelele. Cei din acest grup păreau foarte mânioşi şi aprigi. Mi-a fost arătat apoi un alt grup care purta un stindard alb, curat, pe care era scris: "A Domnului este curăţia şi sfinţenia". Feţele lor erau marcate de hotărâre şi resemnare cerească. 44:8 I-am văzut pe păgânii idolatri apropiindu-se de ei şi a urmat un mare măcel. Creştinii se topeau văzând cu ochii înaintea lor; cu toate acestea, grupul strângea şi mai mult rândurile şi ţinea stindardul cu mai multă hotărâre. Cum mulţi cădeau, alţii se strângeau în jurul steagului şi le luau locul. 44:9 Am văzut grupul de idolatri consfătuindu-se. Nereuşind să-i determine pe creştini să cedeze, s-au pus de comun acord cu un alt plan. I-am văzut coborând steagul acela, apropiindu-se de grupul de creştini neclintiţi şi făcându-le propuneri. La început, propunerile lor au fost respinse în mod categoric. Apoi am văzut grupul de creştini sfătuindu-se. Unii au zis că vor să coboare steagul, să accepte propunerile şi să-şi salveze vieţile, pentru ca, în cele din urmă, să poată căpăta putere să ridice stindardul printre păgâni. Cu toate acestea, câţiva n-au vrut să cedeze în faţa acestui plan, ci au ales mai degrabă să moară ţinând cu hotărâre steagul sus decât să-l coboare. Apoi i-am văzut pe mulţi coborându-şi stindardul şi unindu-se cu păgânii; dar cei hotărâţi şi statornici l-au luat din nou în mâini şi l-au înălţat mult. Am văzut că ieşeau continuu persoane din grupul celor care purtau steagul cel curat şi se uneau cu idolatrii aflaţi sub stindardul negru, pentru a-i prigoni pe cei ce purtau steagul alb. Cu toate că mulţi au fost ucişi, steagul alb era ţinut sus şi credincioşii se adunaseră în jurul lui pentru a-l susţine. 44:10 Iudeii care au stârnit primii mânia păgânilor împotriva lui Isus, nu aveau să scape nepedepsiţi. În sala de judecată, când Pilat ezita să-L condamne pe Isus, iudeii furioşi strigaseră: "Sângele Lui să fie asupra noastră şi asupra copiilor noştri". Naţiunea iudaică a trăit împlinirea acestui teribil blestem pe care-l chemaseră asupra capetelor lor. Atât păgânii, cât şi cei care-şi spuneau creştini au fost duşmanii lor. Aceia care-şi ziceau creştini, în zelul lor pentru Hristos, 44:11 pe care-L răstigniseră iudeii, au gândit că Dumnezeu avea să fie cu atât mai mulţumit, cu cât ei aveau să producă mai multă suferinţă iudeilor. Din acest motiv, mulţi dintre iudeii necredincioşi au fost ucişi, în timp ce alţii au fost împinşi dintr-un loc în altul şi au fost pedepsiţi în aproape orice chip cu putinţă. 44:12 Sângele lui Hristos şi al ucenicilor, pe care-i dăduseră să fie ucişi, era asupra lor, şi peste capetele lor au căzut judecăţi groaznice. Blestemul lui Dumnezeu i-a urmărit şi au ajuns de pomină şi o bătaie de joc pentru păgâni şi pentru aşa-zişii creştini. Au fost dezonoraţi, dispreţuiţi şi detestaţi, ca şi cum semnul lui Cain ar fi fost asupra lor. Cu toate acestea, am văzut că Dumnezeu a păstrat într-un chip minunat acest popor şi l-a risipit în toată lumea ca să se poată vedea că au parte într-un mod deosebit de blestemul lui Dumnezeu. Am văzut că Dumnezeu îi părăsise pe iudei ca naţiune, dar că vor fi totuşi convertiţi unii dintre ei, în mod individual, şi făcuţi în stare să sfâşie perdeaua ce le acoperă inima şi să vadă că profeţia care îi priveşte s-a împlinit; ei Îl vor primi pe Isus ca Mântuitor al lumii şi vor vedea marele păcat al naţiunii lor - acela de a-L fi respins şi răstignit. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
