67:1 Cap. 65 - Provizii pentru viitor 67:2 Deţinerea de case în proprietate şi economiile în comparaţie cu obiceiurile de a risipi banii. Fratele şi sora B. nu au învăţat lecţia economisirii... Ei cheltuiesc tot ce întâlnesc în cale, oricât de mult ar fi. Se bucură când fac acest lucru, iar apoi, când dau de necaz, ei sunt cu totul nepregătiţi. Dacă fratele şi sora B. ar fi fost administratori economi, tăgăduitori de sine, ar fi putut avea o casă a lor înşişi şi, pe lângă aceasta, ar fi putut avea mijloace pentru vremuri grele. Dar ei nu au vrut să fie economi ca alţii, de care uneori fuseseră dependenţi. Dacă ei vor neglija în continuare aceste lecţii, caracterele lor nu vor fi găsite desăvârşite în ziua lui Dumnezeu. 1 67:3 Acest sfat te poate ajuta. Ai fost implicat într-o afacere care uneori îţi putea aduce mari profituri. După ce ai câştigat, nu ai învăţat să faci economii în vederea acelor perioade când banii se câştigau atât de uşor, ci ai cheltuit mult pe dorinţe imaginare. Dacă tu şi soţia ta aţi fi înţeles că este o datorie pe care Dumnezeu v-o cere, de a vă ţine în frâu gustul şi dorinţele şi de a vă face provizii pentru viitor, în loc de a trăi doar pentru prezent, acum aţi fi putut avea o situaţie materială bună, iar familia ta s-ar fi putut bucura de o viaţă confortabilă. Ai de învăţat o lecţie... Puţin, să-ţi ajungă multă vreme. 2 67:4 Către o familie care trebuie să facă economii în mod sistematic. Ai fi putut să ai astăzi un capital pe care să-l poţi folosi în caz de urgenţă şi să susţii cauza lui Dumnezeu, dacă ai fi făcut 67:5 economii aşa cum ar fi trebuit. În fiecare săptămână, o parte din salariul tău trebuie pus deoparte şi să nu fie atins decât în cazul unor nevoi efective sau să fie înapoiat Dătătorului sub formă de daruri... 67:6 Mijloacele pe care le-ai câştigat nu au fost cheltuite în mod înţelept şi economic, astfel ca să ai o acoperire în caz că tu ai fi bolnav şi familia ta ar fi lipsită de mijloacele pe care tu le aduci pentru a-i susţine. Familia ta ar trebui să aibă ceva pe care să se bizuie în caz că ajunge în strâmtorare. 3 67:7 O altă familie sfătuită să aibă un cont de economii. În fiecare săptămână, ar trebui să depuneţi într-un loc sigur o sumă de bani care să nu fie decât în caz de boală. Cu economie, puteţi plasa banii cu dobândă. Printr-o administrare înţeleaptă, puteţi economisi ceva după ce vă plătiţi datoriile. 4 67:8 Am cunoscut o familie care primea douăzeci de dolari pe săptămână pe care îi cheltuia în întregime, în timp ce o altă familie, la fel de mare, care primea doar doisprezece dolari pe săptămână, punea deoparte unul sau doi dolari pe săptămână, reuşind să facă acest lucru prin abţinerea de a cumpăra lucruri inutile, de care se puteau dispensa. 5 67:9 Asiguraţi-vă proprietatea printr-un testament corespunzător. Cei care sunt ispravnici credincioşi ai mijloacelor lui Dumnezeu vor fi foarte stăpâni pe treburile lor şi, ca şi cel înţelept, vor fi pregătiţi pentru orice caz de urgenţă. Dacă timpul lor de har s-ar încheia pe neaşteptate, ei ar lăsa în încurcătură pe cei care trebuie să decidă asupra averii lor. 67:10 Mulţi oamenii nu se gândesc să-şi facă testamentul în timp ce sunt încă într-o bună stare de sănătate. În această privinţă, fraţii noştri trebuie să fie prevăzători. Ei trebuie să ştie cum stau din punct de vedere financiar şi nu 67:11 trebuie să îngăduie ca treburile să le fie încurcate în afaceri. Ei trebuie să-şi ţină într-o astfel de rânduială bunurile, încât în orice clipă să le poată lăsa. 67:12 Testamentele trebuie făcute în aşa fel, încât să treacă testul legii. După ce sunt întocmite, ele pot sta ani de zile fără să facă rău cuiva, şi între timp se pot face încă donaţii după cum cere cauza lui Dumnezeu. Moartea nu va veni cu o zi mai devreme, fraţilor, pentru că v-aţi făcut testamentul. Lăsându-vă averea prin testament rudelor, asiguraţi-vă că nu uitaţi cauza lui Dumnezeu. Voi sunteţi agenţii Lui, cei care deţin proprietatea Lui; şi cuvintele Lui trebuie luate cele dintâi în seamă. Soţiile şi copiii voştri, desigur, nu trebuie lăsaţi în lipsă; trebuie să vă îngrijiţi de ei, dacă sunt în nevoie. Însă nu treceţi în testament, doar pentru că aşa e obiceiul, un şir lung de rude care nu sunt nevoiaşe. 6 67:13 Aduceţi-vă aminte de lucrarea lui Dumnezeu cât sunteţi încă în viaţă. Nimeni să nu gândească că va putea sta faţă în faţă cu Hristos strângând averi în timpul vieţii, din care o parte, la moarte, va lăsa moştenire pentru vreo binefacere. 7 67:14 Unii îşi reţin în mod egoist mijloacele în timpul vieţii, gândind că pot suplini această neglijenţă, amintind de lucrare în testamentul lor. Însă, în realitate, nici jumătate din mijloacele acordate astfel în mod legal nu ajung să fie folosite după cum s-a specificat. Fraţi şi surori, investiţi în banca cerului voi înşivă şi nu lăsaţi ca ceea ce este al vostru, ca ispravnici, să fie administrat de altcineva. 8 67:15 Administrarea bunurilor lăsată pe seama copiilor este adesea neînţeleaptă... Părinţii să se teamă să încredinţeze ca moştenire copiilor mijloace pe care Dumnezeu le-a dăruit mâinilor lor, afară doar de cazul că au cea mai sigură dovadă că copiii lor privesc cu interes, dragoste şi devotament cauza lui Dumnezeu - mai mult decât ei înşişi - şi că 67:16 aceşti copii vor fi mai serioşi şi zeloşi pentru înaintarea lucrării lui Dumnezeu şi mai binevoitori în a duce mai departe diferite iniţiative legate de aceasta, care necesită mijloace de susţinere. Însă mulţi aşează mijloacele în mâinile copiilor lor, aruncând astfel asupra lor responsabilitatea isprăvniciei lor, pentru că Satana îi împinge să facă astfel. Procedând astfel, ei îşi plasează mijloacele în oştirea vrăjmaşului. Satana lucrează în această privinţă, urmărindu-şi scopul şi reţinând de la cauza lui Dumnezeu mijloacele de care aceasta are nevoie, ca să nu poată fi susţinută suficient. 9 67:17 Blestemul strângerii de bogăţii. Cei care dobândesc bogăţii, având doar scopul de a le strânge, lasă blestemul bogăţiilor asupra copiilor lor. Este un păcat, un păcat îngrozitor, care pune în primejdie sufletul taţilor şi mamelor care fac acest lucru, şi acest păcat se extinde şi asupra posterităţii. Adesea, copiii cheltuie banii pe lucruri fără noimă, extravagante, într-un trai dezmăţat, devenind astfel nişte cerşetori. Ei nu cunosc valoarea moştenirii pe care au risipit-o. Dacă taţii şi mamele lor le-ar fi dat un exemplu potrivit, nu strângând bogăţii, ci împărţindu-le corespunzător, ei şi-ar fi strâns comori în ceruri şi ar fi primit în schimb, chiar în această lume, pace şi fericire, iar în viaţa viitoare bogăţii veşnice. 10 67:18 1. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
