2:52 Şi Isus creştea în înţelepciune, în statură, şi era tot mai plăcut înaintea lui Dumnezeu şi înaintea oamenilor. Isus creştea. Copilăria şi tinereţea lui Isus au fost ani de dezvoltare armonioasă a puterilor Sale fizice, mintale şi spirituale (vezi Ed 13). Ţinta către care El aspira era de a reflecta perfect caracterul Tatălui Său din cer. Aici era natura omenească perfectă, modelată după chipul lui Dumnezeu. Treizeci de ani de pregătire stăruitoare au precedat o scurtă lucrare de trei ani şi jumătate. Afirmaţia din v. 40 se referă mai ales la copilăria lui Isus şi aceea din v. 52 în primul rând la tinereţea Lui. Afirmaţii asemănătoare sunt făcute cu privire la tinereţea lui Samuel (1 Samuel 2,26) şi aceea a lui Ioan Botezătorul (Luca 1,80). Legendele superstiţioase cu privire la copilăria şi tinereţea lui Isus care sunt relatate în Evangheliile apocrife ale primelor secole creştine stau în straniu contrast cu demnitatea şi frumuseţea simplă şi cu puterea constrângătoare a naraţiunii biblice. Pentru ilustrarea acestor relatări legendare vezi lucrarea apocrifă, 1 Copilărie, 7,1-35; 13,1-13; 15,1-7; 16,1-16; 18,1-19). Se pare că Isus nu a săvârşit minuni înainte de timpul când a început lucrarea Sa publică (cf. DA 72, 74,92). Înţelepciune. Gr. sophia, ,,inteligenţă cuprinzătoare şi deplină”; adică distincţie mintală în sensul cel mai înalt şi cel mai deplin (vezi la cap. 1,17). Sophia cuprinde nu numai cunoştinţă dar şi capacitatea şi judecata de a aplica acea cunoştinţă la împrejurările şi situaţiile vieţii. Pentru o corectă înţelegere a modului în care Hristos a făcut faţă problemelor vieţii este important să ştim că El nu S-a născut şi nu fost înzestrat în mod supranatural cu cunoştinţe, înţelegere şi înţelepciune – El a ,,sporit”, a ,,crescut” în înţelepciune. ,,Fiecare copil poate câştiga cunoştinţe ca şi Isus” (DA 70). Statură. Isus a practicat cel mai înalt tip de exerciţii folositoare, singurele care pot da adevărata tărie fizică şi dezvoltă pe deplin facultăţile. Aceasta L-a format pentru a purta partea Sa din poverile vieţii; aceasta era un folos pentru Sine şi o binecuvântare pentru alţii (DA 72). Era tot mai plăcut înaintea lui Dumnezeu. De la prima ivire a inteligenţei Isus a crescut fără încetare în har spiritual şi în cunoştinţa adevărului. El a crescut în tărie şi înţelegere morală în decursul orelor pe care le-a petrecut singur în natură – mai ales acelea din zorii dimineţii – meditând, cercetând Scripturile şi căutând pe Tatăl Său în rugăciune (vezi DA 90). În Nazaret, proverbial pentru nelegiuirea lui, chiar şi în generaţia aceea stricată El a fost mereu expus la ispită şi trebuia să fie fără încetare cu luare aminte pentru a-Şi păstra curăţenia şi caracterul (DA 71,116). La încheierea anilor Săi de pregătire Tatăl a mărturisit despre El: ,,Tu eşti Fiul Meu prea iubit, în Tine Îmi găsesc plăcerea” (cap. 3,22). El era un exemplul viu de ceea ce înseamnă a fi desăvârşit ,,după cum şi Tatăl vostru cel ceresc este desăvârşit (Matei 5,48; DA 72). Pentru comentariul mai amănunţit cu privire la felul în care Isus a întâmpinat ispita şi a biruit vezi la Matei 4,1-11; 26,38-41; Luca 2,40; Evrei 2,17; EGW material suplimentar la Luca 2,40). Oamenilor. [,,Omului”, KJV]. În ce priveşte personalitatea, Isus era cunoscut ca având o dispoziţie plăcută (DA 68, 254), o răbdare pe care nimic nu o putea tulbura (DA 68, 69), simpatie şi gingăşie (DA 74), modestie şi delicateţe tinerească (DA 80). Din copilărie, unicul Lui scop în viaţă a fost să-i facă pe alţii fericiţi (DA 70, 90, 92) şi mâinile Lui gata să lucreze erau pururi pregătite să le servească (DA 86). El îşi îndeplinea cu credincioşie datoriile de fiu, frate, prieten şi cetăţean (DA 72, 82). Perfecta dezvoltare de caracter a lui Isus de la pruncie la bărbăţie, fără de păcat, este, poate, faptul cel mai uimitor din întreaga Lui viaţă. Acesta uluieşte imaginaţia. Şi având în vedere asigurările că El nu S-a bucurat de ocazii pe care Dumnezeu nu este dispus să le ofere şi pentru copiii noştri (DA 70), putem întreba cu folos: ,,Cum se poate face aşa ceva?” (cf. Ioan 3,9). În primul rând ,,Isus a acceptat natura omenească atunci când omenirea fusese slăbită de patru mii de ani de păcat. Ca şi fiecare copil al lui Adam, El a acceptat rezultatele lucrării marii legi a eredităţii” (DA 49). I s-a îngăduit ,,să întâmpine primejdia vieţii la fel cu fiecare suflet omenesc, să dea lupta aşa cum fiecare copil al neamului omenesc trebuie să o ducă, cu riscul înfrângerii şi al pierderii veşnice” (DA 49). În al doilea rând, copilul Isus nu a fost înzestrat în mod supranatural cu înţelepciune mai presus de a altor copii normali. El gândea, vorbea şi acţiona cu înţelepciunea unui copil (DA 70, 71; COL 83). În al treilea rând, mediul în care a crescut Isus – nelegiuirea proverbială a Nazaretului – L-a supus ,,la toate conflictele pe care le avem noi de întâmpinat” (DA 71; cf. 116) şi cu toate acestea, chiar şi în copilărie şi în tinereţe, viaţa Lui nu a fost întinată de nici un singur gând rău sau faptă rea (DA 88). În cea mai mare măsură caracterul este determinat de învăţătura şi exemplul părinţilor. Când copiii sunt privilegiaţi să vadă în viaţa părinţilor o oglindire a gingăşiei, dreptăţii şi răbdării lui Dumnezeu, ei ajung să-L cunoască aşa cum este (PP 308). Cultivarea iubirii pentru părinţii pământeşti, a încrederii în ei şi a ascultării de ei pregăteşte pe copii pentru a-L iubi pe Părintele lor ceresc, a se încrede în El şi a asculta de El (vezi PK 245; 4T 337; vezi la Matei 1,16). Dacă părinţii vor veni astăzi umili la Mântuitorul, gata să fie călăuziţi de El în educarea copiilor lor, le este făgăduit har îndestulător pentru a modela caracterul copiilor lor aşa cum a făcut Maria pentru copilul Isus (vezi DA 69; cf. 512). Părinţii care ar vrea să vadă caracterul lui Isus reflectat în copiii lor se vor folosi de bogăţia de sfat inspirat care le stă la îndemână asupra acestui subiect important şi-l vor aplica cu sârguinţă şi răbdare în cercul familiei (vezi COL 80-89, 325-365; DA 68-74, 84-92; MH 349 – 394). Ca şi Avraam, ei vor ,,porunci” copiilor lor şi casei lor (vezi la Geneza 18,19) cu bunătate, răbdare şi înţelegere (vezi Efeseni 6,4; Coloseni 3,21) – totuşi cu fermitate (vezi la Proverbele 13,24; 19,18). Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
