41:1 În luna a şaptea, Ismael, fiul lui Netania, fiul lui Elişama, din neamul împăratului, a venit cu mai marii împăratului şi cu zece oameni la Ghedalia, fiul lui Ahicam, la Miţpa. Şi au mâncat împreună acolo, la Miţpa. În luna a şaptea. Nu există o afirmaţie directă cu privire la timpul când s-au petrecut evenimentele din capitolul 41, dar, observând natura continuă a naraţiunii, pare rezonabil de a trage concluzia că ele au urmat imediat după evenimentele din cap. 40. Luna a şaptea. Adică aproximativ la două sau trei luni după ce Ierusalimul fusese luat de Babilonieni (cap. 39,1.2), dacă naraţiunea, după cum pare, decurge neîntrerupt (vezi PK 460). Au mâncat împreună. Ismael şi cei trei tovarăşi de conspiraţie ai lui, au făcut o vizită lui Ghedalia, evident cu misiunea curtenitoare de recunoaştere a înaltei slujbe a lui Ghedalia, dar în realitate cu intenţia de a-l ucide pe Ghedalia şi toţi aderenţii lui. 41:2 Atunci Ismael, fiul lui Netania, s-a sculat cu cei zece oameni de care era însoţit, şi au lovit cu sabia pe Ghedalia, fiul lui Ahicam, fiul lui Şafan, şi au omorât astfel pe acela, pe care îl pusese împăratul Babilonului dregător peste ţară. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 41:3 Ismael a mai omorât pe toţi Iudeii, care erau cu Ghedalia la Miţpa, şi pe Haldeii, care se aflau acolo, oameni de război. Oamenii de război. În opoziţie cu ,,haldeii”, RSV traduce această expresie astfel: ,,şi ostaşii haldei care se întâmplase să fie acolo”. 41:4 A doua zi, după omorârea lui Ghedalia, pe când nimeni nu ştia nimic, Nimeni nu ştia nimic. Atât de eficient a fost masacrul încât nimeni n-a scăpat ca să dea de veste. 41:5 au venit din Sihem, din Silo şi din Samaria, optzeci de oameni, cu barba rasă şi cu haine sfâşiate, care îşi făcuseră tăieturi în piele; aveau daruri de mâncare şi tămâie, ca să le aducă la Casa Domnului. Din Sihem. Aceşti optzeci de oameni par să fi fost într-un pelerinaj de jale pe ruinele templului, poate şi pentru ca să ţină Sărbătoarea Corturilor şi să aducă jertfele de cereale şi de tămâie pe locul unde fusese vechiul altar. Cu barba rasă. Un obicei interzis de legea mozaică (vezi Levitic 19,27.28; Deuteronom 14,1.2). 41:6 Ismael, fiul lui Netania, le-a ieşit înainte din Miţpa, şi mergea plângând. Când i-a întâlnit, le-a zis: Veniţi la Ghedalia, fiul lui Ahicam! Mergea plângând. Înşelător, Ismael îi întâmpină ca unul care împărtăşeşte durerea lor. LXX însă prezintă pe peregrini plângând, nu pe Ismael. 41:7 Şi când au ajuns ei în mijlocul cetăţii, Ismael, fiul lui Netania, i-a junghiat şi i-a aruncat în groapă, cu ajutorul oamenilor, care-l însoţeau. I-a junghiat. Scopul acestei fapte sălbatice nu este clar. Oricare dintre următoarele ar fi putut fi cauza: 1. o nestăpânită îndârjire a spiritului trezită de prezenţa acestor jeluitori; 2. o bănuială că dispoziţia peregrinilor de a recunoaşte pe Ghedalia în calitate de conducător pus de Babilonieni, adică un act de trădare contra lui Iuda; 3. represalii răzbunătoare din partea lui Ismael pentru uciderea ,,căpeteniilor lui Iuda” (vezi cap. 52,10); 4. jefuirea averii peregrinilor. 41:8 Dar s-au găsit printre ei zece oameni care au zis lui Ismael: Nu ne omorî, căci mai avem merinde ascunse în câmp: grâu, orz, untdelemn şi miere! Atunci el i-a cruţat, şi nu i-a omorât împreună cu fraţii lor. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 41:9 Groapa în care a aruncat Ismael toate trupurile moarte ale oamenilor pe care i-a ucis, afară de Ghedalia, este groapa aceea mare pe care o făcuse împăratul Asa, când se temea de Baeşa, împăratul lui Israel; groapa aceasta a umplut-o Ismael, fiul lui Netania, cu cei ucişi. Afară de Ghedalia. Sau ,,Din cauza lui Ghedalia”. Ismael îi ucisese pe aceşti oameni prin înşelăciunea folosirii numelui lui Ghedalia (v. 6). Se temea de Baeşa. Vezi 1Regi 15,16-22; 2Cronici 16,1-6. 41:10 Ismael a luat prinşi de război pe toi cei ce mai rămăseseră la Miţpa din popor, pe fiicele împăratului şi pe toţi aceia din popor, care locuiau acolo, şi pe care-i încredinţase Nebuzaradan, căpetenia străjerilor, lui Ghedalia, fiul lui Ahicam; Ismael fiul lui Netania, i-a luat prinşi de război, şi a plecat ca să treacă la Amoniţi. Fiicele împăratului. Fiii lui Zedechia fuseseră ucişi la Ribla (cap. 39,6). Fiicele fuseseră cruţate şi predate lui Ghedalia pentru ocrotire. Luându-le în custodia şi sub protecţia sa, Ismael pretinde că e reprezentatul cârmuitor al casei regale, potrivit cu obişnuinţa răsăriteană. Amoniţi. Întrucât ei fuseseră aliaţi cu Zedechia (vezi comentariul la cap. 27,3; 39,5), Ismael considera că putea găsi loc sigur acolo. Într-adevăr, cap. 40,1 arată că regele lor ,,a însărcinat pe Ismael” să omoare pe Ghedalia. 41:11 Dar Iohanan, fiul lui Careah, şi toate căpeteniile oştirilor, care erau cu el, au fost înştiinţaţi de tot răul, pe care-l făcuse Ismael, fiul lui Netania. Iohanan. Vezi cap. 40,8.13.15. 41:12 Au luat pe toţi oamenii, şi au pornit să bată pe Ismael, fiul lui Netania, pe care l-au găsit lângă apele cele mari ale Gabaonului. Apele cele mari. Răzbunarea acestor crime laşe a avut loc la marele iaz din Gabaon, acum ej-Jîb, cam la 9,2 km spre nord-vest de Ierusalim. Iohanan dăduse mai înainte o avertizare cu privire la primejdia pentru viaţa lui Ghedalia (cap. 40,13.14). 41:13 Când a văzut tot poporul, care era cu Ismael, pe Iohanan, fiul lui Careah, şi pe toate căpeteniile oştirilor, care erau cu el, s-a bucurat; S-a bucurat. Un indiciu că Ghedalia fusese popular şi că aceia care fuseseră sub conducerea lui, se bucurau că omorul a fost răzbunat. 41:14 şi tot poporul, pe care-l luase Ismael din Miţpa, s-a întors şi a venit de s-a unit cu Iohanan, fiul lui Careah. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 41:15 Dar Ismael, fiul lui Netania, a scăpat de Iohanan cu opt oameni, şi s-a dus la Amoniţi. Cu opt oameni. Evident, doi din cei ,,zece oameni” ai lui Ismael (v. 1) fuseseră ucişi în una din ciocnirile anterioare (v. 2, 3, 11, 12). Amoniţi. Vezi comentariul la v. 10. 41:16 Iohanan, fiul lui Careah, şi toate căpeteniile oştirilor, care erau cu el, au luat toată rămăşiţa poporului, pe care l-au izbăvit din mâinile lui Ismael, fiul lui Netania, când îl ducea din Miţpa, după ce ucisese pe Ghedalia, fiul lui Ahicam. Şi anume pe oamenii de război, pe femei, pe copii, pe famenii-dregători, pe care i-a adus Iohanan înapoi din Gabaon. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 41:17 Au pornit, şi s-au oprit la hanul lui Chimham lângă Betleem, ca să plece apoi în Egipt, Han. Ebr. geruth, ,,un loc de sălăşluire”, adică, un han pentru călători. Chimham. Barzilai Galaaditul arătase bunăvoinţă faţă de David (2Samuel 19,31-39), şi din cauza aceasta David dăduse instrucţiuni lui Solomon să-l trateze pe fiul lui Chimham cu toată curtoazia şi grija (vezi comentariul la 1Regi 2,7). Probabil, că se dăduse lui Chimham acest teren din apropiere de Betleem de către regele evreu ca proprietatea a lui personală, şi aceasta explică numele hanului. 41:18 departe de Haldei, de care se temeau, pentru că Ismael, fiul lui Netania, ucisese pe Ghedalia, fiul lui Ahicam, pe care-l pusese împăratul Babilonului dregător peste ţară. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
