25:1 3. VOINTA, CHEIA SPRE SUCCES 25:2 O lupta corp-la-corp. - Cand oamenii se multumesc sa traiasca doar pentru lumea aceasta, inclinatia inimii se armonizeaza cu sugestiile vrajmasului si se realizeaza intentia lui. Dar cand ei cauta sa paraseasca stindardul negru si puterea intunericului inrolandu-se singuri sub steagul insangerat al printului Emanuel, incepe lupta, iar conflictul este purtat sub ochii intregului univers. 25:3 Oricine lupta de partea dreapta, are de luptat corp-la-corp cu vrajmasul. El trebuie sa-si puna intreaga armura a lui Dumnezeu, pentru a fi capabil sa faca fata vicleniilor diavolului. - Manuscris 47, 1896. 25:4 Omul trebuie sa-si faca partea. - Dumnezeu nu-l poate salva pe om de sub puterea tertipurilor lui Satana impotriva vointei lui. Omul trebuie sa lucreze cu puterea lui sprijinita de puterea divina a lui Hristos pentru a rezista si a birui cu orice pret. Pe scurt, omul trebuie sa invinga, asa dupa cum si Hristos a invins. Iar apoi, prin biruinta a carei obtinere, in atotputernicul nume al lui Hristos, este privilegiul lui, el poate deveni un mostenitor al lui Dumnezeu si impreuna - mostenitor cu Hristos. 25:5 Asa ceva nu poate avea loc daca Hristos ar face singur totul pentru biruinta. Omul are partea Iui. El trebuie sa fie biruitor pe cont propriu, prin puterea si harul pe care Isus i le da. Omul trebuie sa fie conlucrator cu Hristos in realizarea biruintei si atunci va fi partas cu El in slava. - Review and Herald, 21 noiembrie 1882. 25:6 "Intareste-te si fii om!". - Victimele obiceiului rau trebuie trezite la necesitatea de a face un efort pentru ele insele. Se poate depune cea mai mare stradanie pentru eliberarea lor, se poate oferi harul fara plata al lui Dumnezeu, poate intermedia chiar Hristos, pot actiona ingerii, dar totul va fi in van, daca oamenii insisi nu sunt treziti la lupta, in batalia pentru cauza lor. 25:7 Ultimele cuvinte ale lui David catre Solomon, tanar pe atunci si aproape de primirea coroanei lui Israel, au fost: "Intareste-te si fii om!" 1 Imp. 2, 2. Aceste cuvinte ale inspiratiei sunt spuse pentru orice copil al omenirii, candidat la o coroana nemuritoare: "Intareste-te si fii om!" 25:8 Cei ingaduitori de sine trebuie adusi sa vada si sa simta ca, daca vor sa fie oameni, este necesara o mare reforma morala. Dumnezeu ii cheama sa se ridice si, in puterea lui Hristos, sa-si recastige starea de om pe care le-a dat-o El si pe care ei au sacrificat-o prin obiceiuri pacatoase. 25:9 Omul poate si trebuie sa-i reziste raului. - Simtind teribila putere a ispitei si chemarea dorintei ce duce la cedare, multi oameni striga 25:10 disperati: "Nu pot sa-i rezist raului!". Spuneti-le ca pot, ca trebuie sa reziste. E posibil ca omul sa fi suferit infrangere dupa infrangere, dar nu va fi intotdeauna asa. El este slab, din punct de vedere moral, controlat de obiceiurile unei vieti de pacat. Angajamentele si hotararile lui sunt ca niste funii de nisip. Constiinta calcarii acestor angajamente si nerealizarea hotararilor ii slabeste increderea in propria sinceritate si-l face sa creada ca Dumnezeu nu-l poate accepta si nu poate sa Se alature eforturilor lui. Dar omul nu trebuie sa dispere. 25:11 Aceia care-si pun increderea in Hristos nu vor fi robiti de vreo tendinta sau obicei ereditar ori cultivat. In loc sa fie tinuti in sclavia naturii inferioare, ei trebuie sa-si domine orice apetit sau pasiune. Dumnezeu nu ne lasa sa ne batem cu raul in puterea noastra marginita. Oricare ne-ar fi tendintele spre rau, mostenite sau cultivate, putem invinge prin puterea pe care El este gata sa ne-o impartaseasca. 25:12 Puterea vointei. - Cel ispitit are nevoie sa inteleaga adevarata forta a vointei. Aceasta este puterea dominanta in natura omului - puterea deciziei, a alegerii. Totul depinde de buna actionare a vointei. Dorintele de bine si puritate sunt bune in ele insele. Dar daca ne oprim aici, ele nu aduc nimic. Multi se indreapta spre ruina, in timp ce spera si doresc sa-si biruie inclinatiile spre rau. Ei nu-si predau vointa lui Dumnezeu, nu aleg sa-I slujeasca. 25:13 Trebuie sa alegem. - Dumnezeu ne-a dat puterea de a alege; partea noastra este sa o folosim. Noi nu putem sa ne schimbam inima, nu putem sa ne controlam gandurile, impulsurile sau sentimentele. Nu ne putem curati singuri, nu ne putem califica pentru slujirea lui Dumnezeu. Dar putem alege sa-I slujim lui Dumnezeu, putem sa-I dam vointa noastra; atunci, El va lucra in noi vointa si infaptuirea, potrivit dorintei Lui. Astfel, intreaga noastra natura va fi adusa sub controlul lui Hristos. 25:14 Prin corecta exercitare a vointei, o totala schimbare poate fi realizata in viata. Predandu-ne vointa lui Hristos, ne aliem cu puterea 25:15 divina si primim tarie de sus pentru a sta drept. O viata curata si nobila, o viata de biruinta asupra apetitului si a pasiunii este posibila pentru orice om care-si va uni vointa lui slaba si oscilanta cu atotputernica si stabila vointa a lui Dumnezeu. - The Ministry of Healing, pag. 174 - 176. 25:16 Cand vointa este in ordine. - Vointa este puterea care guverneaza natura umana. Daca ea este in ordine, tot restul fiintei se va afla sub controlul ei. Vointa nu este un gust sau o inclinatie, ci este alegerea, puterea care decide, puterea dominanta, care lucreaza in oameni spre ascultare de Dumnezeu sau spre neascultare. 25:17 Veti fi in permanent pericol pana cand nu veti intelege adevarata putere a vointei. Puteti crede si promite orice lucru, dar acestea nu vor conta pana nu va veti pune vointa in ordine. Daca veti lupta lupta credintei in puterea vointei, fara indoiala veti invinge. 25:18 Cand vointa noastra este de partea lui Hristos. - Partea voastra este aceea de a va pune vointa de partea lui Hristos. Cand va predati vointa Lui, El va ia imediat in stapanire si lucreaza in voi vointa si infaptuirea bunei Sale intentii. Natura voastra este adusa sub controlul Duhului Sau si chiar si gandurile voastre ii vor fi supuse. Daca impulsurile si emotiile nu vi le puteti controla, asa dupa cum s-ar putea sa doriti, vointa o puteti controla si atunci o schimbare totala va fi facuta in viata voastra. Cand va predati vointa lui Hristos, viata voastra este ascunsa cu El in Dumnezeu, fiind aliata cu puterea care este mai presus de toate imparatiile si domniile. Aveti o putere de la Dumnezeu, care va tine prinsi de puterea Lui; si o noua viata, chiar viata credintei, este posibila pentru voi. 25:19 Nu puteti niciodata avea succes in propria emancipare daca vointa voastra nu este de partea lui Hristos, cooperand cu Duhul lui Dumnezeu. Sa nu credeti ca nu puteti, ci spuneti: "Pot si vreau!" 25:20 Dumnezeu a aranjat ca Duhul Sau cel Sfant sa va ajute in orice straduinta plina de hotarare. 25:21 Cel mai slab strigat de ajutor este auzit. - Fiecare dintre noi poate sa stie ca exista o putere care lucreaza alaturi de eforturile noastre, pentru biruinta. De ce nu se prind oamenii de acest ajutor dat, pentru a deveni superiori si nobili? De ce se autodegradeaza ei prin ingaduirea unui apetit stricat? De ce nu se ridica ei in puterea lui Hristos, devenind biruitori in Numele Lui? Isus va auzi chiar si cea mai slaba rugaciune pe care o putem inalta. Lui ii este mila de slabiciunea oricarui suflet. La Cel care are puterea de a mantui exista ajutor pentru oricine. Vi-l recomand pe Isus Hristos, Mantuitorul pacatosului, singurul care poate sa va dea puterea de a invinge in orice punct. 25:22 Coroane pentru toti cei care inving. - Cerul merita totul, pentru noi. Nu trebuie sa riscam nimic, in aceasta privinta. Aici nu facem aventuri. Noi trebuie sa stim ca pasii ne sunt pusi in ordine de Domnul. Sa-L lasam pe El sa ne ajute in marea lucrare a biruintei. El are coroane pentru cei care inving, haine albe pentru cei drepti si o lume vesnica a slavei pentru cei care cauta slava, onoare si nemurire. Oricine intra in cetatea lui Dumnezeu va intra acolo ca biruitor. El nu va intra ca un criminal condamnat, ci ca un fiu al lui Dumnezeu. Iar intampinarea pentru cei care vor intra acolo este: "Veniti binecuvantatii Tatalui Meu de mosteniti imparatia care v-a fost pregatita de la intemeierea lumii." Matei 25, 34. 25:23 Cu bucurie as vrea sa spun cuvinte care sa ajute aceste suflete plapande sa se prinda mai strans, prin credinta, de puternicul Ajutor, pentru a-si putea dezvolta un caracter de care lui Dumnezeu sa-i placa. Cerul poate sa-i invite, prezentandu-si cele mai alese binecuvantari si se pot bucura de toate posibilitatile de a-si dezvolta un caracter perfect, dar totul va fi in van, daca ei nu sunt dispusi sa se ajute si singuri. Ei trebuie sa-si foloseasca puterile date de Dumnezeu, altfel se vor cufunda din ce in ce mai mult si nu vor fi 25:24 buni nici pentru acum nici pentru vesnicie. - Christian Temperance and Bible Hygiene, pag. 147 - 149. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
