50:1 O CUNOASTERE PERSONALA A LUI HRISTOS 50:2 "Orice cuvant al lui Dumnezeu este incercat. El este un scut pentru cei ce se incred in El. Nu adauga nimic la cuvintele Lui, 50:3 ca sa nu te pedepseasca, si sa fii gasit mincinos". (Prov. 30,5.6) 50:4 Noi nu implinim voia lui Dumnezeu cand facem speculatii cu privire la lucrurile pe care El a socotit ca e bine sa ni le ascunda. Problema pe care o avem de cercetat este: "Care este adevarul - adevarul pentru timpul acesta, pe care trebuie sa-l pastram, sa-l indragim, sa-l onoram, sa-l ascultam?" Cei devotati stiintei au fost infranti si descurajati in straduintele lor de a-L descoperi pe Dumnezeu. Lucrul de care trebuie sa se intereseze ei acum este: "Care este adevarul ce ne va face in stare sa dobandim mantuirea sufletelor noastre?" 50:5 Hristos li L-a descoperit ucenicilor Sai pe Dumnezeu intr-un fel care a savarsit in inimile lor o lucrare speciala, ca aceea pe care El staruie de mult de noi sa-I ingaduim sa o faca in inimile noastre. Sunt multi cei care, preocupandu-se prea mult cu teoria, au pierdut din vedere puterea cea vie a exemplului Mantuitorului. Ei L-au pierdut din vedere pe El, ca lucrator umil si plin de abnegatie. Lucrul de care au ei nevoie este sa priveasca la Isus. Zilnic, avem nevoie de o descoperire proaspata a prezentei Sale. E nevoie sa urmam mai de aproape exemplul Sau, de renuntare la Sine si sacrificiu. 50:6 Avem nevoie de experienta avuta de Pavel cand scrie: "Am fost rastignit impreuna cu Hristos, si traiesc dar nu mai traiesc eu, ci Hristos traieste in mine. Si viata pe care o traiesc acum in trup, o traiesc in credinta in Fiul lui Dumnezeu, care m-a iubit si S-a dat pe Sine Insusi pentru mine." (Gal. 2,20) 50:7 Cunoasterea lui Dumnezeu si a lui Isus Hristos, dovedita in caracter, este atingerea unei superioritati mai presus de orice altceva, ce este pretuit pe pamant sau in cer. Este educatia cea mai inalta. Este cheia care deschide portile cetatii ceresti. Aceasta este cunostinta pe care doreste Dumnezeu sa o aiba toti aceia care se imbraca in Hristos. 50:8 Am de adus o solie pentru predicatorii, medicii, invatatorii si toti ceilalti angajati in vreo ramura de lucrare pentru Domnul. Domnul va indeamna sa va ridicati mai sus, la un nivel mai inalt. Trebuie sa aveti o experienta mai profunda 50:9 chiar decat v-ati fi gandit sa aveti. Multi dintre cei care sunt deja membri ai marii familii a lui Dumnezeu stiu putin din ce inseamna a privi slava Sa si a fi schimbat din slava in slava. Multi dintre voi au o intelegere cetoasa a maretiei lui Hristos si sufletele voastre tresalta de bucurie. Aveti dorul dupa un mai deplin si mai profund simtamant al iubirii Mantuitorului. Sunteti nemultumiti. Insa nu disperati. dati-I lui Isus cele mai frumoase si mai sfinte simtaminte de dragoste. Adunati orice raza de lumina. Nutriti fiecare dorinta a sufletului dupa Dumnezeu. Inzestrati-va cu cultura gandurilor spirituale si a legaturilor sfinte. Voi n-ati vazut decat primele licariri ale slavei Sale. Continuand sa-L cunoasteti pe Domnul, veti afla ca "El se iveste ca zorile". (Osea 6,3) "Cararea celor neprihaniti este ca lumina stralucitoare a carei stralucire merge mereu crescand pana la miezul zilei." (Prov. 4,18). Dupa ce ne-am cait de pacatele noastre, le-am marturisit si am gasit iertare, noi trebuie sa invatam despre Hristos, pana ce ajungem in miezul zilei unei desavarsite credinte a Evangheliei. 50:10 Cunostinta primita prin cuvantul lui Dumnezeu 50:11 Intreaga Biblie este o descoperire a slavei lui Dumnezeu in Hristos. Primita, crezuta si ascultata, ea este o unealta puternica in transformarea caracterului. Si este singurul mijloc sigur al culturii intelectuale. 50:12 Motivul pentru care tinerii, si chiar si cei in varsta, sunt asa usor dusi in ispita si pacat este acela ca nu cerceteaza Cuvantul lui Dumnezeu si nu mediteaza asupra lui asa cum ar trebui. Lipsa unei ferme si hotarate puteri a vointei, care se vadeste in viata si in caracter, este urmarea neglijarii din partea lor a indrumarii sacre a Cuvantului lui Dumnezeu. Ei nu-si indreapta mintea, printr-un serios efort, catre lucrurile care ar inspira ganduri curate si sfinte, si nu o indeparteaza de la ce este necurat si ne-adevarat. Putini sunt cei care aleg partea cea buna, care stau la picioarele lui Isus, ca Maria, sa invete de la divinul Invatator. Putini strang cuvintele Lui in inima si le pun in practica in viata. 50:13 Adevarurile Bibliei, primite, vor inalta mintea de la cele pamantesti si josnice. Daca Cuvantul lui Dumnezeu ar fi apreciat asa cum trebuie, atat tinerii, cat si cei in varsta ar avea un spirit launtric al dreptatii si o tarie a principiilor care i-ar face in stare sa se impotriveasca ispitei. 50:14 Fie ca oamenii sa invete si sa scrie lucrurile pretioase ale Sfintelor Scripturi. Gandul, destoinicia, agera activitate a puterii creierului sa fie consacrate studierii cugetelor lui Dumnezeu. Nu cercetati filozofia parerilor omului, ci studiati filozofia Celui care este Adevarul. Alta literatura este de mica valoare in comparatie cu aceasta. 50:15 Mintea care este lumeasca nu gaseste placere in contemplarea 50:16 Cuvantului lui Dumnezeu; insa, pentru mintea renascuta prin Duhul Sfant, de pe paginile sacre vor straluci frumuseti divine si lumina cereasca. Ceea ce pentru mintea omeneasca era o pustie arida, pentru mintea spirituala devine un pamant cu ape de viata. 50:17 SA FIE DATA COPIILOR NOSTRI 50:18 Cunoasterea lui Dumnezeu, descoperita in Cuvantul Sau, este cunostinta ce trebuie data copiilor nostri. De la primele licariri ale judecatii, ei trebuie familiarizati cu numele si viata lui Isus. Prima invatatura ce trebuie sa le fie data sa fie ca Dumnezeu este Tatal lor. Prima lor deprindere trebuie sa-i invete sa asculte din iubire. Cu respect si cu blandete, sa le fie citit si repetat Cuvantul lui Dumnezeu in particele potrivite intelegerii lor, adaptate trezirii interesului lor. Mai presus de toate, faceti-i sa invete despre iubirea Sa, descoperita in Hristos, si marea ei invatatura. 50:19 "Daca astfel ne-a iubit Dumnezeu pe noi, trebuie sa ne iubim si noi unii pe altii." (1 Ioan 4,11) Tinerii sa faca din Cuvantul lui Dumnezeu hrana mintii si a sufletului. Crucea lui Hristos sa devina stiinta oricarei educatii, miezul oricarei invataturi si oricarui studiu. In felul acesta, Mantuitorul va ajunge pentru tineri un tovaras si un prieten zilnic. Fiecare gand va fi facut rob ascultarii de Hristos. Ei vor putea spune impreuna cu apostolul Pavel: "Departe de mine gandul sa ma laud cu altceva decat cu crucea Domnului nostru Isus Hristos, prin care lumea este rastignita fata de mine, si eu fata de lume." (Gal. 6,14) 50:20 O CUNOASTERE DIN EXPERIENTA 50:21 Astfel, prin credinta, ei vor ajunge sa-L cunoasca pe Dumnezeu din experienta. Ei au facut personal proba realitatii Cuvantului Sau, a adevarului fagaduintelor Sale. Ei au gustat si stiu ca Domnul este bun. 50:22 Ioan, ucenicul iubit, avea o cunoastere dobandita prin experienta proprie. El putea marturisi: "Ce era de la inceput, ce am auzit, ce am vazut cu ochii nostri, ce am privit si ce am pipait cu mainile noastre, cu privire la Cuvantul vietii - pentru ca viata a fost aratata, si noi am vazut-o si marturisim despre ea, si va vestim viata vesnica, viata care era la Tatal, si care ne-a fost aratata; - deci, ce am vazut si am auzit, aceea va vestim si voua, ca si voi sa aveti partasie cu noi. Si partasia noastra este cu Tatal si cu Fiul Sau, Isus Hristos." (1 Ioan 1,1-3) Astfel, fiecare sa fie in stare, prin propria sa experienta, sa poate adeveri "ca Dumnezeu spune adevarul" (Ioan 3,33). El poate da marturie despre ceea ce el insusi a vazut, auzit si simtit, cu privire la puterea lui Hristos. El poate marturisi: "Am avut nevoie de ajutor si l-am gasit in Isus. Fiecare nevoie mi-a fost implinita, foamea sufletului a fost potolita; pentru mine, Biblia este descoperirea lui Hristos. Eu cred in Isus, deoarece El imi este un Mantuitor divin; Eu cred in Biblie, deoarece am constatat ca este glasul lui Dumnezeu pentru sufletul meu." |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
