26:1 Lucrarea misionara medicala nu trebuie sa fie facuta totul 26:2 in toate. In privinta aceasta, voi duceti lucrurile la extrem. E de facut o mare lucrare. Pretutindeni trebuie sa fie raspandite publicatii care propaga adevarul. Studentii de la medicina nu trebuie sa fie incurajati sa raspandeasca numai carti care trateaza despre reforma sanitara. Aveti grija sa nu fiti gasiti realizand propriile voastre planuri, trecand cu vederea planurile lui Dumnezeu. 26:3 ________ 26:4 Citat dintr-o scrisoare scrisa din Cooranbong, N.S.W., Decembrie, 1898 - Fratele meu, Domnul Dumnezeul lui Israel trebuie sa fie sfetnicul tau. Satana s-a coborat cu o mare putere si cu toate inselaciunile nedreptatii. Sprijina-te tare pe Hristos. Ai lucrat sarguincios, ca sa obtii rezultate bune. Nu face acum greseli. Niciodata, dar niciodata, nu incerca sa muti macar vreun stalp de hotar pe care l-a dat Domnul poporului Sau. Adevarul sta infipt tare pe Stanca vesnica - o temelie pe care furtuna si viforul nu o pot clinti. 26:5 Adu-ti aminte ca, indata ce vei ingadui ca influenta ta sa te abata de la cararea cea dreapta si stramta, pe care Domnul a trasat-o pentru poporul Sau, prosperitatea ta va inceta, deoarece Dumnezeu nu va fi calauza ta. De repetate ori, mi-a fost prezentat raportul vietii lui Nebucadnetar, ca sa ti-l infatisez, ca sa fii avertizat sa nu te increzi in propria ta intelepciune sau sa faci din carne sprijinul tau. Nu cobori stindardul adevarului si nu ingadui sa-ti cada din mana, pentru a uni cu solia solemna pentru aceste zile din urma orice ar tinde sa ascunda particularitatile credintei noastre. 26:6 Cuvant de avertizare 26:7 Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, 26 octombrie 1898 26:8 Catre sfatuitorii studentilor la medicina E o povara pe sufletul meu. Sunt tineri, care sunt incurajati sa urmeze un curs de studii in domeniul medical, care ar fi trebuit sa se pregateasca in modul cel mai hotarat pentru a proclama solia ingerului al treilea. Nu e necesar ca studentii nostri la medicina sa-si consume tot timpul la studiile medicale. Lucrarea lor ar trebui sa fie combinata in chipul cel mai hotarat cu studierea Cuvantului lui Dumnezeu. Sunt insamantate idei care nu sunt deloc necesare, iar cele necesare nu primesc o atentie indestulatoare. 26:9 O PRIMEJDIE FATA DE CARE SA SE IA MASURI 26:10 In timp ce sunt educati in felul acesta, studentii devin mai putin capabili sa faca o lucrare bine primita pentru Domnul. Oboseala la care sunt supusi pentru a obtine cunostinte vaste in cele medicale ii descalifica sa lucreze in domeniul pastoral. Se produce oboseala fizica si mintala, datorita eforturilor peste masura la studiu si pentru ca studentii sunt incurajati sa lucreze in chip nepotrivit pentru cei parasiti si decazuti. In felul acesta, unii sunt descalificati pentru lucrarea pe care ar fi putut sa o faca, daca ar fi inceput lucrarea misionara acolo unde ar fi fost necesar, iar latura medicala s-ar fi adaugat ca ceva esential, unita cu lucrarea slujirii evanghelice ca un tot, asa dupa cum mana este unita cu corpul. Viata nu trebuie sa fie primejduita in efortul de a obtine o educatie medicala. In unele cazuri, exista primejdia ca studentii sa-si ruineze sanatatea si sa se descalifice de a face serviciul pe care l-ar fi putut face, daca n-ar fi fost sfatuiti in chip neintelept sa urmeze un curs medical. 26:11 Adesea, in minte sunt imprimate pareri eronate, iar acestea indruma la un fel gresit de purtare. Studentii ar trebui sa aiba timp sa vorbeasca cu Dumnezeu, sa traiasca in comuniune continua si constienta cu principiile adevarului, neprihanirii si harului. In acest timp, este necesara o sincera cercetare a inimii. Studentul trebuie sa se aseze acolo unde poate sa scoata din Fantana puterilor spirituale si intelectuale. Studentii la medicina nu trebuie sa primeasca ideea ca trebuie sa se considere supusi numai conducatorilor din lucrarea medicala. Ei trebuie sa fie lasati liberi sa primeasca sfat numai de la Dumnezeu. Ei nu trebuie sa se oblige - nici pe ei, nici viitorul lor - la ceva ce fiinte omenesti, supuse greselii, le-ar putea trasa. Nici un fir de egoism nu trebuie sa fie prins in tesatura; nu trebuie sa fie facut nici un plan care are in el o particica de nedreptate. Egoismul nu trebuie sa controleze nici o ramura a lucrarii. Sa ne amintim ca noi lucram individual in ochii universului ceresc. 26:13 UN STANDARD INALT 26:14 "Sa iubesti pe Domnul, Dumnezeul tau, cu toata inima ta, cu tot sufletul tau, cu toata puterea ta, si cu tot cugetul tau; si pe aproapele tau ca pe tine insuti." (Luca 10,27). Chiar inainte 26:15 de a se intoarce la cer, Hristos a declarat: "Va dau o porunca noua. Sa va iubiti unii pe altii; cum v-am iubit Eu, asa sa va iubiti si voi unii pe altii". Aici vedem ca nivelul este pus mereu tot mai sus. "Prin aceasta vor cunoaste toti ca sunteti ucenicii Mei, daca veti avea dragoste unii pentru altii" (Ioan 13,34.35). Ucenicii nu puteau sa priceapa atunci cuvintele lui Hristos; dar, dupa rastignire, inviere si inaltare, ei au inteles iubirea Lui ca niciodata mai inainte. Ei au vazut-o exprimata in suferinta Lui in gradina, in sala de judecata si in moartea Lui, pe crucea de pe Golgota. 26:16 INVATAND SI VINDECAND 26:17 Poporul lui Dumnezeu trebuie sa fie un tot unit. Nici un fel de separare nu trebuie sa existe in lucrarea Lui. Hristos i-a trimis pe cei doisprezece apostoli si apoi pe cei saptezeci de ucenici, ca sa predice Evanghelia si sa-i vindece pe cei bolnavi. "Pe drum", zicea El, "propovaduiti si ziceti: 'Imparatia cerurilor este aproape!' Vindecati pe bolnavi, inviati pe morti, curatiti pe leprosi, scoateti afara dracii. Fara plata ati primit, fara plata sa dati." (Mat.10,7.8). Iar cand ei au mers, predicand Imparatia lui Dumnezeu, li s-a dat putere sa-i vindece pe bolnavi si sa scoata afara duhurile rele. In lucrarea lui Dumnezeu, invatarea si vindecarea nu trebuie sa fie separate. Poporul Lui, pastrator al poruncilor, trebuie sa fie un singur tot. Satana va nascoci fel de fel de planuri pentru a-i separa pe aceia pe care Dumnezeu cauta sa-i uneasca. Dar Domnul Se va descoperi ca un Dumnezeu al judecatii. Noi lucram sub privirea ostilor cerului. Printre noi este un Strajer divin, cercetand tot ce se planuieste si se executa. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
