22:1 AJUTORAREA CELOR CARE AU NEVOIE DE AJUTOR 22:2 Ca instrumente ale lui Dumnezeu, noi trebuie sa avem inimi de carne, pline de iubirea care ne indeamna sa le fim de ajutor celor care sunt in mai mare nevoie ca noi. Daca ii vedem pe fratii si pe surorile noastre ca se lupta sub povara saraciei si a datoriilor, daca vedem comunitati care au nevoie de ajutor spiritual, ar trebui sa manifestam un interes neegoist fata de ele si sa le ajutam in masura in care Dumnezeu ne-a dat prosperitate. Daca voi, care aveti raspunderea unei institutii, vedeti alte institutii luptandu-se cu curaj pentru a se tine pe picioare, asa ca sa poata face o lucrare asemanatoare cu lucrarea institutiilor in care lucrati, nu fiti gelosi. 22:3 Nu cautati sa duceti la desfiintare o forta lucratoare si sa va inaltati pe voi in constienta superioritate. Mai bine reduceti unele dintre planurile voastre mari si ajutati-i pe cei care se lupta cu greutatile. Ajutati-le in realizarea unora dintre planurile lor de dezvoltare a facilitatilor. Nu folositi fiecare ban pentru a va dezvolta inlesnirile si a va spori raspunderile. Rezervati parte din mijloacele voastre pentru infiintarea, in alte locuri, atat a institutiilor sanitare, cat si a scolilor. Veti avea nevoie de multa intelepciune pentru a sti exact unde sa plasati aceste institutii, in asa fel incat oamenii sa poata avea folosul cel mai mare. Toate lucrurile acestea trebuie sa fie cercetate cu impartialitate. 22:4 Cei care sunt in pozitii de raspundere vor avea nevoie de intelepciune de sus pentru a proceda drept, a iubi mila si a da pe fata mila, nu numai fata de cativa, ci fata de toti cei cu care vin in contact. Hristos Isi identifica interesele cu cele ale poporului Sau, indiferent cat de saraci si nevoiasi ar fi oamenii. Trebuie sa se infiinteze misiuni pentru oamenii de culoare si fiecare trebuie sa caute sa faca ceva si sa faca acum. 22:5 E nevoie sa se infiinteze institutii in diferite locuri, pentru ca barbati si femei sa poata fi pusi sa lucreze cu cele mai bune puteri in temere de Dumnezeu. Nimeni nu trebuie sa-si piarda din vedere misiunea si lucrarea. Fiecare ar trebui sa tinteasca sa duca lucrarea incredintata in mainile lui spre un rezultat plin de succes. Toate institutiile noastre ar trebui sa pastreze lucrul acesta in minte si sa se straduiasca sa ajunga la succes; dar, in acelasi timp, sa-si aduca aminte ca succesul va spori in masura in care dau pe fata o darnicie dezinteresata, impartindu-si belsugul cu institutiile care se lupta sa-si pastreze pozitia. Institutiile noastre prospere ar trebui sa ajute acele institutii despre care Dumnezeu a spus ca ar trebui sa traiasca si sa prospere, dar care inca mai au de dus lupte ca sa poata exista. Printre noi se da pe fata prea putina iubire adevarata si neegoista. Domnul spune: "Oricine iubeste este nascut din Dumnezeu si cunoaste pe Dumnezeu. Cine nu iubeste n-a cunoscut pe Dumnezeu; pentru ca Dumnezeu este dragoste." "Daca ne iubim unii pe altii, Dumnezeu ramane in noi, si dragostea Lui a ajuns desavarsita in noi." (1 Ioan 4,7.8.12) Nu-I este placut lui Dumnezeu sa vada ca omul se uita numai la ale sale, inchizandu-si ochii fata de interesele altora. 22:6 CE POATE FACE O INSTITUTIE PENTRU ALTA 22:7 In providenta lui Dumnezeu, Sanatoriul din Battle Creek a prosperat foarte mult, iar in cursul anului ce vine, cei care poarta raspunderea ar trebui sa-si restranga nevoile. In loc de a face tot ce doresc pentru dezvoltarea facilitatilor lor, ei ar trebui sa faca o lucrare neegoista pentru Dumnezeu, intinzand mana iubirii catre 22:8 interesele concentrate in alte locuri. Ce ajutor ar putea ei sa dea pentru Rural Health Retreat, din St. Helena, dand cateva mii de dolari acestei institutii! O astfel de donatie le-ar da curaj celor de la conducere, inspirandu-i sa mearga inainte si in sus. 22:9 Sanatoriului din Battle Creek i-au fost facute donatii la inceputurile istoriei lui si nu s-ar cuveni oare ca acest sanatoriu sa gandeasca cu grija ce poate face pentru institutia sora de pe coasta Pacificului? Fratii mei din Battle Creek, nu vi se pare ca e in armonie cu randuielile lui Dumnezeu ca voi sa va restrangeti nevoile, sa reduceti lucrarile de construire si sa nu mai extindeti institutiile noastre din centrul acesta? Pentru ce nu considerati ca este privilegiul si datoria voastra de a-i ajuta pe aceia care au nevoie de ajutor? 22:10 O REFORMA NECESARA 22:11 Am fost instruita ca e necesara o reforma in directia aceasta, pentru ca sa domneasca printre noi o mai mare darnicie. E o primejdie neincetata ca pana si adventistii de ziua a saptea sa fie biruiti de ambitie egoista si sa concentreze toate mijloacele si toata puterea in interesele pe care le administreaza in mod direct. Exista primejdia ca oamenii sa permita ca un sentiment de gelozie sa se trezeasca in inima lor si sa devina invidiosi fata de interese care sunt tot atat de importante ca si acelea pe care le manuiesc ei. Aceia care cultiva harul crestinismului curat nu pot privi cu nepasare asupra vreunei parti a lucrarii din marea vie a Domnului. Aceia care sunt intr-adevar convertiti vor avea un interes egal fata de lucrarea din toate partile viei si vor fi gata sa ajute oriunde este necesar ajutorul. 22:12 Egoismul este cel care ii impiedica pe oameni sa trimita ajutor locurilor acelora unde lucrarea lui Dumnezeu nu e atat de prospera cum este in institutia peste care ei au supravegherea. Aceia care poarta raspunderea ar trebui sa urmareasca binele fiecarei ramuri a cauzei si a lucrarii lui Dumnezeu. Ei ar trebui 22:13 sa incurajeze si sa sustina interesele din alte campuri la fel ca interesele din propriul lor camp. In felul acesta, legaturile fratietatii vor fi intarite printre membrii familiei lui Dumnezeu de pe pamant si se va inchide poarta in fata meschinelor gelozii si invidii pe care pozitia si prosperitatea le trezesc cu siguranta, daca inima nu e stapanita de harul lui Dumnezeu. 22:14 "Sa stiti", scria Pavel, "cine seamana putin, putin va secera; iar cine seamana mult, mult va secera. Fiecare sa dea dupa cum a hotarat in inima lui: nu cu parere de rau sau de sila, caci 'pe cine da cu bucurie, il iubeste Dumnezeu'. Si Dumnezeu poate sa va umple de orice har, pentru ca, avand totdeauna in toate lucrurile din destul, sa prisositi in orice fapta buna." "In chipul acesta veti fi imbogatiti in toate privintele, pentru orice darnicie, care, prin noi, va face sa se aduca multumiri lui Dumnezeu. Caci ajutorul dat de darurile acestea, nu numai ca acopera nevoile sfintilor, dar este si o pricina de multe multumiri catre Dumnezeu. Asa ca dovada data de voi prin ajutorul acesta, ii face sa slaveasca pe Dumnezeu, pentru ascultarea pe care marturisiti ca o aveti fata de Evanghelia lui Hristos, si pentru darnicia ajutorului vostru fata de ei si fata de toti; si-i face sa se roage pentru voi si sa va iubeasca din inima, pentru harul nespus de mare al lui Dumnezeu fata de voi. Multumiri fie aduse lui Dumnezeu pentru darul Lui nespus de mare!" (2 Cor.9,6-8.11-15) 22:15 PRINCIPIILE VII ALE FRATIETATII 22:16 Legea lui Dumnezeu este implinita numai atunci cand oamenii Il iubesc cu inima, mintea, sufletul si cu puterea lor, iar pe semenii lor ca pe ei insisi. Manifestarea acestei iubiri e ceea ce aduce slava lui Dumnezeu in locurile inalte, iar pe pamant pace si buna invoire intre oameni. Domnul este proslavit cand se atinge marele scop al Legii Sale. Lucrarea Duhului Sfant a fost ca, veac dupa veac, sa transmita iubire inimii omului, deoarece iubirea este principiul viu al fratietatii. 22:17 Nici un coltisor si nici o ascunzatoare a sufletului nu trebuie sa fie o tainita 22:18 a egoismului. Dumnezeu doreste ca planul cerului sa fie realizat si, in fiecare familie, in fiecare comunitate, in fiecare institutie, sa domneasca ordinea si armonia cereasca. Daca iubirea aceasta ar fi modelat societatea, am fi putut vedea realizarea principiilor nobile intr-o purtare plina de amabilitate si politete crestina si in bunatate crestina fata de cei rascumparati prin sangele lui Hristos. S-ar putea vedea o transformare spirituala in toate familiile, in institutiile si in comunitatile noastre. Cand are loc transformarea aceasta, aceste entitati vor deveni instrumente prin care Dumnezeu va da lumii lumina si, in felul acesta, prin disciplina si educatie crestina, va pregati barbati si femei pentru societatea cereasca. 22:19 Isus S-a dus sa pregateasca locuinte pentru aceia care se pregatesc, prin iubirea si harul Lui, pentru salasurile fericirii. In familia lui Dumnezeu din cer nu se va gasi nici o persoana egoista. Pacea si armonia curtilor ceresti nu vor fi intinate de prezenta cuiva care e aspru si lipsit de amabilitate. Acela care se lauda cu lucrarea ce i-a fost dat sa o faca nu va vedea nicidecum Imparatia lui Dumnezeu, afara de cazul ca e schimbat in spirit, afara de cazul ca devine bland si smerit, descoperind simplitatea unui copilas. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
