47:1 Imbunatatirea talentelor 47:2 Dumnezeu pretinde ca imbunatatirea sa fie lucrarea vietii tuturor urmasilor Lui si ca aceasta sa fie calauzita si stapanita de o experienta corecta. Adevaratul om este cel care este dispus sa sacrifice propriul lui interes spre binele altora si care se antreneaza in a se uni cu cei cu inima zdrobita. Adevaratul scop al vietii abia ca a inceput sa fie inteles de multi, si ceea ce este real si important in viata lor este sacrificat din cauza ca nutresc greselile. 47:3 Nero si Cezar au fost recunoscuti de lume ca oameni mari. Dar asa i-a privit si Dumnezeu? Nu; ei n-au fost legati prin credinta vie cu Inima cea mare a omenirii. Ei erau din lume, au mancat, au baut si au dormit ca oameni ai lumii, dar in cruzimea lor, ei erau satanici. Oriunde mergeau acesti monstri ai omenirii, calea lor era marcata de varsari de sange si distrugeri. Lumea i-a laudat cat au fost in viata, dar, dupa ce au fost inmormantati, lumea s-a bucurat. In contrast cu viata acestor oameni este viata lui Luther. El nu s-a nascut ca print. El n-a purtat coroana imparateasca. Dintr-o celula de manastire, glasul lui a fost auzit si influenta lui s-a facut simtita. El a avut o inima umana, care a fost exercitata pentru binele oamenilor. El a luptat vitejeste pentru adevar si dreptate si a infruntat opozitia lumii ca sa poata fi spre folosul semenilor lui. 47:4 Intelectul singur nu-l face pe om dupa standardul divin. In intelect exista o putere daca este sfintit si stapanit de Duhul lui Dumnezeu. Acesta este superior bogatiilor si puterii fizice, totusi el trebuie sa fie cultivat spre a face ca omul sa fie om. Dreptul pe care-l pretinde cineva spre a fi om este determinat de folosirea intelectului sau. Byron avea putere intelectuala si cugetare adanca, dar n-a fost un om dupa standardul lui Dumnezeu. El a fost un agent al lui Satana. Pasiunile lui erau patimase si nestapanite. Prin viata lui, a semanat seminte care au adus ca rod recolta de stricaciune. Lucrarea vietii lui a coborat nivelul virtutii. Acest barbat a fost unul dintre cei mai distinsi oameni ai lumii; totusi, 47:5 Domnul nu-l va recunoaste ca om, ci numai ca pe unul care a abuzat de talentele date lui de Dumnezeu. Gibbon cel sceptic si multi altii, care au fost daruiti de Dumnezeu cu minti uriase si pe care lumea ii numeste oameni mari, s-au adunat sub steagul lui Satana si au folosit darurile lui Dumnezeu pentru pervertirea adevarului si nimicirea sufletelor oamenilor. Intelectul mare, cand este facut un slujitor al viciului, este un blestem pentru posesor si pentru toti cei care vin in sfera lui de influenta. 47:6 Ceea ce va binecuvanta omenirea este viata spirituala. Daca omul este in armonie cu Dumnezeu, el va depinde continuu de El pentru putere. "Voi fiti dar desavarsiti, dupa cum si Tatal vostru cel ceresc este desavarsit". Lucrarea vietii noastre este de a ajunge la desavarsirea caracterului crestin, straduindu-ne continuu sa ne conformam vointei lui Dumnezeu. Eforturile incepute pe pamant vor continua pe parcursul vesniciei. Standardul lui Dumnezeu pentru om este ridicat la cea mai inalta semnificatie a termenului, si daca el este la inaltimea maturitatii date lui de Dumnezeu, el va fi fericit in aceasta viata si il va conduce la slava si rasplata vesnica in viata viitoare. 47:7 Membrii familiei umane sunt indreptatiti la numele de barbati si femei numai daca isi folosesc talentele, pe orice cale posibila, pentru binele altora. Viata lui Hristos este in fata noastra ca model si numai cand slujeste, asemenea ingerilor indurarii, nevoilor altora omul este un aliat apropiat al lui Dumnezeu. Natura crestinismului este sa faca familii fericite si o societate fericita. Discordie, egoism si cearta vor fi inlaturate de la fiecare barbat si femeie care poseda adevaratul spirit al lui Hristos. 47:8 Cei care sunt partasi ai iubirii lui Hristos n-au dreptul sa creada ca exista o limita a influentei si lucrarii lor in incercarea de a fi folositori omenirii. A obosit Hristos in eforturile Lui de a salva pe omul cazut? Lucrarea noastra trebuie sa fie continua si staruitoare. Noi trebuie sa gasim de lucru pana ce Stapanul ne porunceste sa depunem armura la picioarele Sale. Dumnezeu este un conducator moral, si noi trebuie sa asteptam, supusi fata de vointa Lui, gata si dispusi sa sarim la datoria noastra oricand este nevoie sa lucram. 47:9 Ingerii sunt angajati zi si noapte in serviciul lui Dumnezeu pentru ridicarea omului in conformitate cu planul de mantuire. Omului i se cere sa iubeasca in gradul cel mai inalt pe Dumnezeu, adica cu toata puterea lui, cu tot cugetul lui si cu toata taria lui, si pe aproapele ca pe el insusi. Aceasta este cu neputinta daca nu va renunta la eu. Hristos a spus: "Daca voieste cineva sa vina dupa Mine, sa se lepede de sine insusi, sa-si ia crucea si sa Ma urmeze". 47:10 Lepadarea de sine inseamna a conduce spiritul cand pasiunile cauta sa stapaneasca; a rezista ispitei de a critica si de a spune cuvinte defaimatoare; a avea rabdare cu copilul greu de cap si a carui putere este slaba si apasatoare; a sta la postul datoriei cand altii pot sa cedeze; a lua responsabilitati oriunde si oricand poti, nu pentru scopul de a fi aplaudat, nu pentru diplomatie, ci de dragul Stapanului, care ti-a dat o lucrare de facut cu credinciosie nesovaielnica; cand ai putea sa te lauzi, sa pastrezi tacere si sa lasi ca buzele altora sa te laude. Lepadarea de sine este pentru a face bine altora, unde inclinatia te-ar face sa te slujesti pe tine insuti. Cu toate ca semenii tai nu iti apreciaza intotdeauna eforturile, totusi trebuie sa lucrezi mai departe. 47:11 Cercetati cu atentie si vedeti daca adevarul pe care l-ati acceptat a devenit un principiu ferm in voi. Il luati pe Hristos cu voi cand parasiti odaita de rugaciune? Sta religia voastra ca paznic la usa buzelor voastre? Este inima voastra atrasa de simpatie si iubire pentru altii din afara familiei voastre? Cautati voi cu sarguinta o mai clara intelegere a adevarului Scripturii, ca sa puteti lasa ca lumina voastra sa lumineze viata altora? La aceste intrebari puteti raspunde propriilor voastre suflete. Vorbirea voastra sa fie dreasa cu har si purtarea voastra sa dovedeasca inaltimea crestina. 47:12 A inceput un an nou. Care a fost raportul anului trecut din viata ta crestina? In ce stare se afla raportul tau din cer? Eu va implor sa va predati fara rezerva lui Dumnezeu. Sunt inimile voastre impartite? Predati-le acum pe deplin Domnului. Faceti ca istoria vietii din anul care vine sa fie diferita de cea din trecut. Smeriti-va sufletele inaintea lui Dumnezeu. "Ferice 47:13 de cel ce rabda ispita. Caci dupa ce a fost gasit bun, va primi cununa vietii, pe care a fagaduit-o Dumnezeu celor ce-L iubesc." Lasati la o parte orice pretentie si prefacatorie. Procedati conform cu personalitatea voastra simpla si naturala. Fiti sinceri in orice cuget, cuvant si fapta si "in smerenie fiecare sa priveasca pe altul mai presus de el insusi". Aduceti-va mereu aminte ca natura morala are nevoie sa fie sustinuta de o constanta veghere si rugaciune. Atata timp cat priviti la Hristos, sunteti siguri, dar in clipa in care va ganditi la sacrificiile si dificultatile voastre si incepeti sa simpatizati cu ele si sa va dezmierdati, va pierdeti increderea in Dumnezeu si sunteti in mare pericol. 47:14 Multi limiteaza providenta lui Dumnezeu si despart indurarea si iubirea din caracterul Lui. Ei sustin ca maretia si maiestatea lui Dumnezeu L-ar impiedica sa se intereseze El Insusi de problemele celor mai slabe creaturi ale Sale. "Nu se vand oare doua vrabii la un ban? Totusi, nici una din ele nu cade pe pamant fara voia Tatalui vostru. Cat despre voi, pana si perii din cap, toti va sunt numarati. Deci sa nu va temeti; voi sunteti mai de pret decat multe vrabii." 47:15 Pentru fiintele umane, este greu sa dea atentie problemelor mai mici ale vietii, in timp ce mintea este ocupata intr-o afacere de mare importanta. Dar nu trebuie sa existe aceasta unire? Omul facut dupa chipul Facatorului sau ar trebui sa uneasca responsabilitatile mai mari cu cele mai mici. El poate fi absorbit de ocupatii de o importanta covarsitoare si sa neglijeze invatatura de care au nevoie copiii Sai. Aceste indatoriri pot fi privite ca indatoriri mai mici ale vietii, cand in realitate ele se afla chiar la temelia societatii. Fericirea familiilor si a comunitatilor depinde de influentele caminului. Interesele vesnice depind de cuvenita achitare de indatoririle acestei vieti. Lumea n-are atat de mult nevoie de minti mari, cat de oameni buni, care vor fi o binecuvantare in caminele lor. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
