6:1 Adventisti impotrivitori 6:2 Impotrivitorii nostri cei mai inversunati se gasesc printre adventistii de ziua intai. Ei nu se angajeaza in mod onorabil in lupta. Vor urma orice cale, oricat de irationala si inconsecventa ar fi, pentru a acoperi adevarul si a incerca sa faca sa para ca Legea lui Dumnezeu nu reprezinta nici o putere. Se magulesc singuri ca scopul scuza mijloacele. Oameni din randul lor, in care ei nu au incredere, vor incepe o tirada impotriva Sabatului poruncii a patra si vor da publicitatii declaratiile lor, oricat ar fi de neadevarate, nedrepte si chiar ridicole, daca se pot sprijini pe acestea impotriva adevarului pe care il urasc. 6:3 Nu ar trebui sa fim miscati sau tulburati de acest razboi nedrept, venit din partea unor oameni irationali. Cei ce primesc si sunt multumiti de ceea ce vorbesc si scriu acesti oameni impotriva adevarului nu sunt aceia care ar fi convinsi de adevar sau care ar onora cauza lui Dumnezeu, daca ar accepta-o. Putem folosi timpul si energia mai bine decat de a ne ocupa in amanunt de echivocurile impotrivitorilor nostri, care lucreaza prin calomnii si reprezentari gresite. In timp ce folosim timp pretios pentru a urmari tertipurile si denaturarile impotrivitorilor necinstiti, oamenii care sunt deschisi pentru a-si forma convingeri mor din lipsa cunostintei. Un sir de echivocuri lipsite de sens, inventate chiar de Satana, sunt aduse inaintea oamenilor, in timp ce altii striga dupa hrana, dupa mancare la timp. 6:4 Cei care si-au educat mintea sa lupte impotriva adevarului sunt aceia care pot fabrica echivocuri. Iar noi nu suntem intelepti daca le luam din mainile lor si le dam miilor de oameni care nu s-ar fi gandit niciodata la ele, daca noi nu le-am fi publicat pentru lume. Aceasta este ceea ce ar vrea sa faca impotrivitorii nostri; vor sa fie scosi in evidenta si sa ne provoace sa publicam pentru ei. Aceasta este adevarat in special pentru unii dintre ei. Acesta este scopul lor principal cand isi publica falsurile si reprezentarile gresite ale adevarului si caracterelor celor care iubesc si apara adevarul. Glasurile lor se vor stinge cu mult mai repede daca vor fi trecute cu vederea, daca erorile si neadevarurile lor vor fi tratate cu dispretul tacerii. Ei nu vor sa fie lasati in pace. Opozitia este elementul pe care il iubesc. Daca nu ar fi aceasta, ei nu ar avea decat o mica influenta. 6:5 Adventistii de ziua intai, ca grup, sunt cel mai greu de atins. Ei resping in general adevarul, asa cum au facut-o evreii. Noi ar trebui sa mergem inainte, pe cat posibil, ca si cand nici nu ar exista un asemenea popor. Ei sunt elemente ale confuziei si intre ei exista acte de imoralitate intr-o masura ingrozitoare. Ar fi cea mai mare calamitate ca multi din numarul lor sa imbratiseze adevarul. Ei ar trebui sa uite tot ce au invatat si sa invete totul de la inceput, caci altfel ne-ar provoca mari necazuri. Exista ocazii in care va trebui ca unele reprezentari gresite, sfruntate, de-ale lor sa fie infruntate. Cand se iveste acest caz, ar trebui sa o facem prompt si scurt si apoi sa trecem la lucrarea noastra. Planul invatarii lui Hristos ar trebui sa fie si al nostru. El a fost simplu si lamurit cand explica, mergand direct la inima problemei, si mintea tuturor era luminata. 6:6 Nu este tactica cea mai buna sa fii atat de explicit si sa spui despre o chestiune tot ceea ce poate fi spus, cand cateva argumente vor acoperi subiectul, fiind suficiente pentru toate scopurile practice, pentru a convinge sau pentru a-i reduce la tacere pe impotrivitori. Poti inchide astazi gura impotrivitorilor, astfel incat sa nu poata spune nimic, le poti inlatura orice sprijin, iar ei vor relua maine aceeasi problema. Si asa va fi, iarasi si iarasi, pentru ca ei nu iubesc lumina si nu vor sa vina la lumina, pentru a nu li se risipi intunericul si erorile. Este un plan mai bun 6:7 acela de a pastra o rezerva de argumente decat sa turnam o bogatie de cunostinte asupra unui subiect care ar fi acceptat ca adevarat fara o argumentare laborioasa. Slujirea lui Hristos a durat numai trei ani si ce lucrare mare s-a facut in acea perioada scurta! In aceste ultime zile, este de facut o mare lucrare intr-un timp scurt. In timp ce multi se pregatesc sa faca ceva, vor pieri suflete, cautand lumina si cunoastere. 6:8 Daca oamenii care sunt angajati in lucrarea de prezentare si aparare a adevarului Bibliei se apuca sa cerceteze si sa arate sminteala si contrazicerile celor care fac in mod necinstit o minciuna din adevarul lui Dumnezeu, Satana ii va starni indeajuns de mult pe impotrivitori pentru ca locurile celor dintai sa fie incontinuu ocupate, in timp ce alte ramuri ale lucrarii vor fi lasate sa sufere. 6:9 Trebuie sa avem mai mult spiritul acelor barbati care erau angajati in construirea zidurilor Ierusalimului. Noi implinim o mare lucrare si nu putem cobori de pe ziduri. Daca Satana vede ca-i poate face pe oameni sa raspunda neincetat la obiectiunile impotrivitorilor si sa le reduca astfel glasul la tacere, impiedicandu-i sa implineasca cea mai importanta lucrare pentru timpul acesta, obiectivul sau este atins. 6:10 "Istoria Sabatului" a fost retinuta prea mult timp spre a fi data poporului. Ei au nevoie de aceasta lucrare pretioasa, chiar daca nu o au in toata desavarsirea ei. Ea nu poate fi pregatita niciodata intr-un mod in care sa-i aduca la tacere deplina pe impotrivitorii irationali care sunt nestatornici si care sucesc Scripturile spre propria lor nimicire. Aceasta este o lume ocupata. Barbatii si femeile care sunt prinsi in activitatile vietii nu au timp sa mediteze, nici macar sa citeasca din Cuvantul lui Dumnezeu suficient ca sa inteleaga toate adevarurile lui importante. Argumentele lungi, laborioase, nu-i vor interesa decat pe putini; caci oamenii sunt nevoiti sa citeasca in timp ce alearga. Nu veti putea indeparta obiectiunile la porunca Sabatului din mintile adventistilor de ziua intai mai bine decat a putut Mantuitorul lumii, prin minunile si marea Sa putere, sa-i convinga pe evrei ca El este Mesia, o data ce ei se hotarasera sa-L respinga. Asemenea evreilor incapatanati, necredinciosi, ei au ales intunericul mai degraba decat lumina, iar daca le-ar vorbi chiar si un inger din curtile ceresti, ei ar spune ca a fost Satana. 6:11 Lumea are nevoie de o lucrare pentru ea acum. Vin chemari din toate directiile, asemenea strigatului celor din Macedonia: "Veniti si ajutati-ne". Argumentele simple, directe, care sa stea ca niste pietre kilometrice vor face mai mult, in general, pentru convingerea mintilor decat o vor face o multime de argumente care acopera subiectul intr-o mare masura, dar pe care nu vor avea interes sa le urmareasca decat mintile cercetatoare. "Istoria Sabatului" ar trebui data poporului. In timp ce o editie este pusa in circulatie si poporul beneficiaza de pe urma ei, pot fi facute imbunatatiri, pana cand se va fi facut tot posibilul de a o aduce la desavarsire. Succesul nostru va consta in atingerea mintilor simple. Cei ale caror talent si pozitie sunt atat de inaltate deasupra simplitatii lucrarii sunt atat de satisfacuti de ei insisi, incat nici nu simt nevoia adevarului. Ei se afla exact in situatia evreilor, cu o neprihanire proprie. Ei sunt sanatosi si nu au nevoie de medic. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
