23:1 Cap. 21 - Pacatul lui Moise 23:2 Adunarea copiilor lui Israel a fost adusa din nou in pustie, exact in locul unde Dumnezeu ii pusese la proba curand dupa iesirea din Egipt. Domnul le scosese apa din stanca si aceasta apa a continuat sa curga pana cand ei aproape au ajuns inca o data stanca aceea. Atunci Domnul a facut ca suvoiul sa se opreasca, pentru a-Si incerca iarasi poporul, sa vada daca vor trece testul credintei lor sau vor murmura din nou impotriva Lui. 23:3 Cand evreii au insetat si n-au puteau gasi apa, au devenit nerabdatori si nu si-au amintit de puterea lui Dumnezeu care, cu aproape patruzeci de ani mai inainte, le scosese apa din stanca. In loc de a se increde in Dumnezeu, ei s-au plans de Moise si Aaron si le-au spus: "Ce bine ar fi fost sa fi murit noi, cand au murit fratii nostri inaintea Domnului!" Aceasta inseamna ca ei doreau sa fi fost printre cei distrusi de plaga, in razvratirea lui Core, Datan si Abiram. 23:4 Ei intrebau cu manie: "Pentru ce ati adus adunarea Domnului in pustia aceasta, ca sa murim in ea si noi si vitele noastre? Pentru ce ne-ati scos din Egipt si ne-ati adus in acest loc rau, unde nu este nici loc de semanat, nici smochin, 23:5 nici vita, nici rodiu, nici apa de baut?" 23:6 "Moise si Aaron au plecat de la adunare si s-au dus la usa cortului intalnirii. Au cazut cu fata la pamant si li s-a aratat slava Domnului. Domnul a vorbit lui Moise si i-a zis: 'Ia toiagul si cheama adunarea, tu si fratele tau Aaron. Sa vorbiti stancii acesteia in fata lor si ea va va da apa. Sa le dati astfel apa din stanca si sa adapi adunarea si vitele lor.' Moise a luat toiagul dinaintea Domnului, cum ii poruncise Domnul." 23:7 Moise isi pierde rabdarea 23:8 "Moise si Aaron au chemat adunarea inaintea stancii. Si Moise le-a zis: 'Ascultati, razvratitilor! Trebuie oare sa va scoatem noi apa din stanca aceasta?" Apoi Moise a ridicat mana si a lovit stanca de doua ori cu toiagul si a iesit apa din belsug, asa incat a baut si adunarea si au baut si vitele. Atunci Domnul a zis lui Moise: 'Pentru ca n-ati crezut in Mine, ca sa Ma sfintiti inaintea copiilor lui Israel, nu voi veti duce adunarea aceasta in tara pe care i-o dau.'" 23:9 Moise a pacatuit. Era obosit din cauza cartirilor neincetate ale poporului impotriva lui si impotriva poruncii Domnului. A luat toiagul si, in loc sa vorbeasca stancii, cum ii poruncise Dumnezeu, a lovit stanca de doua ori, dupa ce a spus: "Trebuie oare sa va scoatem noi apa din stanca aceasta?" De data aceasta a vorbit neintelept. El nu a zis: Dumnezeu va va arata acum inca o dovada a puterii Sale si va va scoate apa din aceasta stanca. El nu I-a atribuit lui Dumnezeu 23:10 puterea si slava de a face sa curga iarasi apa din stanca de granit si, prin urmare, nu L-a inaltat inaintea poporului. Din cauza acestei caderi a lui Moise, Dumnezeu nu i-a ingaduit sa conduca poporul in tara fagaduita. 23:11 Intrucat era nevoie de manifestarea puterii lui Dumnezeu, acea ocazie era foarte solemna, iar Moise si Aaron ar fi trebuit sa se foloseasca de ea pentru a face o impresie favorabila asupra oamenilor. Moise, insa, era agitat, nerabdator si manios din cauza cartirilor poporului si a zis: "Ascultati, razvratitilor! Va trebui oare sa va scoatem noi apa din stanca aceasta?" Spunand aceasta, el accepta de fapt ca Israelul cartitor avea dreptate cand il acuza pe el ca ii scosese din Egipt. Dumnezeu iertase poporului faradelegi mai mari decat aceasta greseala a lui Moise, dar nu putea privi pacatul unui conducator la fel ca al celor care erau condusi. Nu putea sa scuze pacatul lui Moise si sa-i permita sa intre in tara fagaduita. 23:12 Prin aceasta, Domnul a dat poporului Sau o dovada de netagaduit ca El, care savarsise o eliberare atat de minunata scotandu-i din robia egipteana, era Ingerul cel puternic care mergea inaintea lor in timpul tuturor calatoriilor lor, El, nu Moise; si despre Sine spusese: "Iata, Eu trimit un Inger inaintea ta, ca sa te ocroteasca pe drum si sa te duca in locul pe care l-am pregatit. Fii cu ochii in patru inaintea Lui si asculta glasul Lui; sa nu te impotrivesti Lui, pentru ca nu va va ierta pacatele, caci Numele Meu este in El." Exodul 23,20.21. 23:13 Moise a luat asupra lui slava ce apartinea lui Dumnezeu si a fost nevoie ca Dumnezeu sa procedeze in felul acesta cu el, ca razvratitul Israel sa fie lamurit pentru totdeauna ca nu Moise era acela care ii scosese din Egipt, 23:14 ci Insusi Dumnezeu. Domnul ii incredintase lui Moise povara conducerii poporului Sau, in timp ce Ingerul cel puternic mergea inaintea lor si calauzea toate calatoriile lor. Din cauza ca ei uitau asa de usor ca Dumnezeu ii conducea prin Ingerul Sau si erau gata sa atribuie omului ceea ce numai puterea Sa putea infaptui, El i-a pus la proba si i-a incercat, sa vada daca-L vor asculta sau nu. Ei au cazut la fiecare test. In loc sa creada si sa-L recunoasca pe Dumnezeu care le semanase calea cu dovezi clare ale puterii, grijii si dragostei Lui, n-au crezut in El, ci au pus pe seama lui Moise faptul ca iesisera din Egipt, invinuindu-l ca fiind cauza tuturor nenorocirilor lor. Moise le-a suportat incapatanarea cu o rabdare remarcabila. Odata au amenintat sa-l omoare cu pietre. 23:15 Sentinta cea grea 23:16 Domnul a vrut sa indeparteze pentru totdeauna din mintea lor aceasta impresie, interzicandu-i lui Moise sa intre in tara fagaduita. El il inaltase foarte mult pe Moise. Ii descoperise slava Sa mareata. Il luase intr-o apropiere sacra cu El pe munte si binevoise sa-i vorbeasca, asa cum vorbeste un om cu prietenul lui. El ii comunicase lui Moise si, prin el, poporului, vointa, randuielile si legile Sale. Faptul ca Moise fusese inaltat si onorat de Dumnezeu in felul acesta, ii agrava si mai mult greseala. El s-a pocait de pacatul lui si s-a umilit inaintea lui Dumnezeu. A spus intregului Israel parerea lui de rau pentru pacatul comis. El n-a ascuns consecinta pacatului lui, ci le-a spus ca, din cauza ca nu-i daduse slava lui Dumnezeu, nu-i putea conduce in tara promisa. Apoi i-a intrebat daca aceasta greseala a lui era atat de mare, incat sa fie corectata in felul acesta 23:17 de catre Dumnezeu, cum va privi El cartirile lor repetate acuzandu-l (pe Moise) de pedepsele neobisnuite ale lui Dumnezeu pentru pacatele lor? 23:18 Numai de data aceasta si-a ingaduit Moise sa nutreasca impresia ca el le scosese apa din stanca, cand ar fi trebuit sa inalte numele Domnului in mijlocul poporului Sau. Domnul voia acum sa-i clarifice poporului faptul ca Moise era doar un om, care urma indrumarea si instructiunile Unuia mai puternic decat el, si care era chiar Fiul lui Dumnezeu. Cu aceasta avea sa-i lase fara indoieli. Celui caruia i s-a dat mult i se si cere mult. Moise a fost mult favorizat, primind o viziune deosebita a maririi lui Dumnezeu. Lumina si slava lui Dumnezeu ii fusesera impartasite intr-o bogata masura. Fata lui Moise reflectase asupra poporului slava pe care Domnul o lasase sa straluceasca asupra lui. Toti vor fi judecati potrivit cu privilegiile pe care le-au avut si cu lumina si binecuvantarile acordate. 23:19 Pacatele oamenilor buni, al caror comportament a fost in general vrednic de imitat, sunt in mod deosebit neplacute lui Dumnezeu. Ele il fac pe Satana sa triumfe si sa-i necajeasca pe ingerii lui Dumnezeu cu esecurile uneltelor Sale alese si le ofera nelegiuitilor ocazia sa se ridice impotriva lui Dumnezeu. Domnul Insusi il condusese pe Moise intr-un mod deosebit si ii descoperise slava Sa, ca nimanui altuia pe pamant. Din fire, Moise era nerabdator, dar se prinsese tare de harul lui Dumnezeu si cu atata umilinta implorase intelepciune din cer, incat a fost intarit si si-a biruit nerabdarea, asa ca Dumnezeu l-a numit cel mai bland om de pe fata pamantului. 23:20 Aaron a murit la muntele Hor, caci Domnul spusese ca nu va intra in tara fagaduita pentru ca, impreuna cu Moise, pacatuise si el cand au scos 23:21 apa din stanca, la Meriba. Moise si fiii lui Aaron l-au ingropat pe munte, ca poporul sa nu fie ispitit sa faca o ceremonie prea mare pentru trupul lui si sa se faca vinovat de pacatul idolatriei. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
