14:1 Cap. 12 - Efortul special al lui Satana 14:2 Mi s-a aratat ca trebuie sa ne pazim din fiecare parte si sa rezistam cu perseverenta insinuarilor si inselaciunilor lui Satana. El s-a transformat intr-un inger de lumina inseland mii de oameni si prinzandu-i in captivitate. Avantajele pe care le are de pe urma cunoasterii mintii oamenilor sunt inspaimantatoare. Astfel, asemenea sarpelui, el se strecoara imperceptibil pentru a perverti lucrarea lui Dumnezeu. El face ca minunile si lucrarile lui Dumnezeu sa para obisnuite, omenesti. 14:3 Daca Satana ar conduce un atac deschis, direct, impotriva cresti-natatii, crestinii ar veni in umilinta si agonie la picioarele Rascumpa-ratorului. Puternicul si maretul Mantuitor l-ar speria pe indraznetul dusman si l-ar da inapoi. Dar Satana, transformat intr-un inger de lumina, lucreaza asupra mintii, dand impresia ca se afla chiar pe cararea cea sigura si dreapta. Prin stiinte ca frenologia, psihologia si hipnotismul, Satana a actionat mai direct asupra acestei generatii, lucrand cu acea putere care va caracteriza lucrarea sa la sfarsitul perioadei de proba... 14:4 Pe masura ce ne apropiem de sfarsitul timpului, mintea umana este mult mai usor afectata de inselaciunile lui Satana. El ii conduce pe muritorii inselati sa explice lucrarile si minunile facute de Hristos pe baza unor principii generale, dar in esenta umane. Satana a avut dintotdeauna ambitia de a contraface lucrarea lui Hristos si de a-si stabili propria putere si propriile pretentii. De obicei, el nu face aceasta lucrare deschis, direct si cu indrazneala. El este dibaci si stie ca cea mai eficienta cale pentru a-si indeplini lucrarea este sa se arate 14:5 oamenilor cazuti in pacat in forma unui inger de lumina. 14:6 Satana a venit la Hristos in desert sub infatisarea unui barbat tanar frumos, semanand mai mult cu un monarh decat cu un inger cazut. El a venit avand cuvantul Scripturii in gura. A spus: "Este scris". Mantuitorul nostru, in suferinta, ii vine in intampinare cu Scriptura spunand: "Este scris" . Satana este in avantaj pentru ca Domnul Hristos era slabit si suferea. El luase asupra Sa natura noastra umana. 14:7 Increderea in sine este fatala 14:8 Daca Satana poate intuneca si insela astfel mintea umana si-i poate conduce pe muritori sa creada ca au o putere innascuta, prin care pot indeplini lucruri bune si marete, ei inceteaza sa se mai bizuie pe Dumnezeu ca El sa faca posibile aceste lucruri, deoarece cred ca exista in ei puterea de a le realiza singuri. Ei nu recunosc o putere superioara. Ei nu-I dau lui Dumnezeu slava pe care El o cere de la ei si care se datoreaza maretiei si slavei Maiestatii Sale. Scopul lui Satana e astfel indeplinit. El se bucura atunci cand omul cazut in pacat se inalta pe sine, asa cum s-a inaltat el insusi in ceruri si a fost izgonit. El stie ca, daca omul se inalta pe sine, ruina lui este la fel de sigura cum a fost a lui. 14:9 Incredere distrugatoare 14:10 El a esuat in ispitirea lui Hristos in pustie. Planul salvarii a fost dus la indeplinire. Pretul cel scump a fost platit pentru rascumpararea omului. Si acum, Satana se straduieste sa distruga fundamentul sperantei crestine si sa intoarca mintea oamenilor pe un fagas unde ei nu pot fi ajutati 14:11 sau salvati prin marele sacrificiu oferit. El il conduce pe omul cazut, prin intreaga sa inselaciune si necinste, sa creada ca se poate descurca foarte bine si fara ispasire, ca nu are nevoie sa depinda de crucificarea si inaltarea Mantuitorului, ca propriile sale merite il vor indreptati la favorurile lui Dumnezeu si apoi distruge increderea omului in Biblie, stiind bine ca, daca reuseste sa faca acest lucru si ca daca instrumentul care il aten-tioneaza pe om este distrus, el, Satana, este in siguranta. 14:12 El strecoara in mintea omului amagirea ca nu exista un rau individual, iar cei care cred acest lucru nu fac nici un efort sa reziste si sa lupte impotriva a ceea ce nu mai exista si bietii muritori orbi adopta in final maxima "orice este, este bine". Ei nu recunosc nici o regula care sa le verifice umblarea. Satana ii conduce pe multi sa creada ca ruga-ciunea catre Dumnezeu este inutila fiind doar o forma. El stie bine cat de necesare sunt meditatiile si rugaciunea pentru ca urmasii lui Hristos sa reziste vicleniilor si siretlicurilor lui. Inselaciunile lui Satana vor distrage mintea de la aceste exercitii importante, astfel ca sufletul nu se mai poate sprijini pe ajutorul Atotputernicului si nu mai poate obtine putere de la El pentru a rezista atacurilor sale... 14:13 Satana isi va atinge scopul daca vom neglija exercitiul rugaciunii, pentru ca atunci minciunile sale infrumusetate vor fi primite mai rapid si cu mai multa usurinta. Satana isi atinge scopul prin asezarea inaintea omului a ispitelor inselatoare, cu care nu a reusit sa-L tenteze pe Hristos. Uneori el vine sub forma unei persoane tinere si placute sau sub forma unei aparente frumoase. El face vindecari si este venerat de muritorii inselati ca un binefacator al omenirii... 14:14 Controlul mintii 14:15 Mi s-a aratat ca Satana nu poate controla mintea decat daca ea cedeaza si se supune controlului lui. Cei care se indeparteaza de adevar sunt acum intr-un pericol serios. Ei s-au separat de Dumnezeu si de ingerii Lui supraveghetori, iar Satana, mereu gata, veghind pentru a distruge suflete, incepe sa-si prezinte in asa fel siretlicurile, incat oamenii se afla intr-un pericol extrem. Si daca ei vad si incearca sa reziste puterilor intunericului, sa se elibereze din latul lui Satana, nu va fi un lucru usor. Ei s-au aventurat pe terenul lui si el isi reclama dreptul asupra lor. Nu va ezita sa-si angajeze toate energiile si sa-si cheme intreaga armata sa smulga chiar si numai un singur om din mana lui Hristos. 14:16 Cei care l-au tentat pe diavol sa-i ispiteasca vor trebui sa faca eforturi disperate pentru a se elibera de sub puterea lui. Cand vor incepe sa lucreze pentru ei insisi, ingerii lui Dumnezeu, pe care i-au intristat, vor veni in ajutorul lor. Dar Satana si ingerii sai nu sunt dispusi sa-si piarda prada. Ei vor lupta cu ingerii sfinti si conflictul este serios. Si daca cei care au pacatuit continua sa implore si in umilinta adanca isi marturisesc greselile, ingerii care exceleaza in putere vor triumfa si-i vor smulge de sub puterea ingerilor rai. 14:17 Perdeaua ridicata 14:18 Cand cortina a fost ridicata si mi s-a aratat coruptia acestei generatii, inima mea s-a imbolnavit, iar spiritul meu aproape ca a cazut in lesin. Am vazut pe locuitorii pamantului umpland masura cupei nedreptatilor lor. Mania lui Dumnezeu este aprinsa 14:19 si nu va fi atenuata pana cand pacatosii nu vor fi distrusi de pe fata pamantului. 14:20 Satana este dusmanul personal al lui Hristos. El este initiatorul si liderul oricarei manifestari de razvratire in cer si pe pamant. Furia lui creste si noi nu realizam ce putere are. Daca ochii nostri ar fi deschisi sa-i vedem pe ingerii cazuti la lucru, cu cei ce se simt linistiti si se considera in siguranta, n-ar mai trebui sa ne simtim la fel de siguri. Ingerii intunericului sunt pe urmele noastre in fiecare moment. Noi ne asteptam ca oamenii rai sa se comporte asa cum sugereaza Satana; dar, in timp ce mintile noastre sunt nepazite impotriva agentilor invizibili ai lui Satana, ei vor castiga teren si vor face minuni, in fata privirilor noastre. Suntem noi gata sa le rezistam prin Cuvantul lui Dumnezeu, singura arma pe care o putem folosi cu succes? 14:21 Unii vor fi tentati sa primeasca aceste minuni ca venind din partea lui Dumnezeu. Bolnavi vor fi vindecati inaintea noastra. Miracole vor fi produse in vazul nostru. Suntem pregatiti pentru momentul incercarii, cand minunile false ale lui Satana vor fi etalate mult mai amplu. Oare nu vor fi multe suflete inselate, inrobite si luate? Forme ale erorii si indepartarii de la principiile clare si de la poruncile lui Dumnezeu si acordarea de atentie nascocirilor fac ca mintea sa fie pregatita pentru minunile false ale lui Satana. Toti trebuie sa ne inarmam acum pentru lupta in care trebuie sa ne angajam in curand. Credinta in Cuvantul lui Dumnezeu, studiul combinat cu rugaciunea si aplicarea in practica a celor invatate vor fi scutul nostru impotriva puterii lui Satana si ne vor face biruitori prin sangele lui Hristos. - RH, 18 februarie 1862 |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
