64:1 FERICIRE DIN SLUJIRE ALTRUISTA 64:2 Dar amintiti-va ca fericirea nu va fi dobandita daca va limitati la intimitatea voastra, fiind satisfacuti sa va revarsati toata afectiunea unul asupra celuilalt. Profitati de orice ocazie de a contribui la fericirea celor din jurul vostru. Amintiti-va ca bucuria adevarata poate fi gasita numai in slujire altruista. 64:3 Ingaduinta si lipsa de egoism isi pun amprenta asupra cuvintelor si faptelor tuturor celor care duc viata cea noua in Hristos. In timp ce cautati sa traiti viata pe care a trait-o El, straduindu-va sa biruiti eul si egoismul si sa slujiti in vederea satisfacerii nevoilor altora, veti castiga victorie dupa victorie. Astfel, influenta voastra va binecuvanta lumea. 64:4 Oamenii pot atinge idealul pe care il are Dumnezeu pentru ei, daca vor face din Hristos ajutorul lor. Ceea ce intelepciunea omeneasca nu poate face va reusi sa implineasca harul Sau, pentru aceia care se daruiesc Lui cu iubire increzatoare. Providenta Sa poate uni inimile cu legaturi de origine divina. Iubirea nu va fi doar un schimb de vorbe dulci si lingusitoare. Razboiul de tesut al cerului lucreaza cu o urzeala si o batatura mai fina si, cu toate acestea, mai rezistenta decat pot tese razboaiele de tesut de pe pamant. Rezultatul nu va fi o tesatura de rand, ci una care va rezista la uzura si incercari grele. O inima va fi legata de cealalta cu legaturile de aur ale dragostei ce nu se va stinge. 64:5 Alegerea si pregatirea caminului 64:6 Domnul a sadit o gradina. (...) Si a pus acolo pe om. 64:7 Evanghelia simplifica intr-un mod minunat problemele vietii. Ascultata, invatatura ei ar risipi cu usurinta multe nedumeriri si ne-ar feri de multe greseli. Ea ne invata sa apreciem lucrurile la justa lor valoare si sa depunem cele mai statornice eforturi pentru lucrurile care sunt de cel mai mare pret - cele ce nu vor trece. De aceasta lectie au nevoie cei asupra carora apasa raspunderea alegerii unui camin. Ei nu ar trebui sa-si ingaduie sa se abata de la cel mai inalt tel. Sa-si aduca aminte ca familia de pe pamant trebuie sa fie un simbol al celei din ceruri, iar in cadrul ei, sa se faca pregatirea pentru familia de sus. Viata este o scoala a pregatirii, din care parinti si copii trebuie sa promoveze pentru a urma cursurile scolii superioare in locurile pregatite de Dumnezeu. Cand cautam un loc pentru viitorul nostru camin, acest tel sa stea la baza alegerii. Sa nu fiti stapaniti de dorinta dupa bogatie, de dictatele modei sau de obiceiurile societatii. Aveti in vedere ceea ce va favoriza simplitatea, curatenia, sanatatea si adevaratele valori. 64:8 Peste tot in lume, marile orase devin focare de viciu. La tot pasul se desfasoara privelistile si se aud zgomotele raului. Pretutindeni esti ademenit la senzualitate si viata de placeri. Curentul coruptiei si crimei creste continuu. Fiecare zi isi aduce raportul violentei din ajun - jafuri, crime, sinucideri si faradelegi care nu pot fi numite. 64:9 Viata in marile orase este falsa si artificiala. Pasiunea arzatoare pentru castigarea de bani, valtoarea senzatiilor puternice si cautarea placerii, setea de etalare ostentativa, luxul si extravaganta sunt toate forte care, acaparand masele de oameni, deturneaza mintea de la scopul adevarat al vietii. Ei deschid usa pentru o mie de rele. Asupra tineretului, acestea au o putere aproape irezistibila. 64:10 Una dintre cele mai subtile si mai periculoase ispite care ii asalteaza pe copiii si tinerii din marile orase este iubirea de placeri. Sarbatorile sunt numeroase; jocurile si cursele de cai atrag mii de persoane, iar valtoarea senzatiilor puternice si a placerii ii distrage de la datoriile serioase ale vietii. Banii care ar fi trebuit economisiti pentru intrebuintari mai folositoare sunt aruncati pe distractii. 64:11 Prin lucrarea trusturilor si in urma grevelor organizate de sindicate, conditiile de trai din oras sunt din ce in ce mai grele. Inaintea noastra stau necazuri serioase; iar pentru multe familii va deveni o necesitate sa se mute din orase. 64:12 Mediul inconjurator din marile orase reprezinta adesea un pericol pentru sanatate. Probabilitatea ridicata de a intra in contact cu persoane bolnave, aerul poluat, apa murdara, hrana murdara, locuintele aglomerate, intunecoase si insalubre sunt cauza multor rele care pot fi intalnite. 64:13 Nu a fost scopul lui Dumnezeu ca oamenii sa stea inghesuiti in orase mari, ingramadindu-se unii intr-altii pe stradute si in apartamente inchiriate. La inceput, El i-a pus pe primii nostri parinti in mijlocul privelistilor si sunetelor de care doreste sa ne bucuram si astazi. Cu cat ne armonizam mai mult cu planul originar al lui Dumnezeu, cu atat vom avea mai multe sanse de a asigura sanatatea trupului, mintii si sufletului. 64:14 O locuinta scumpa, un mobilier deosebit, expunerea ostentativa, luxul si confortul nu asigura conditiile esentiale pentru o viata fericita si folositoare. Isus a venit pe acest pamant pentru a implini cea mai mare lucrare din toate cate s-au facut printre oameni. El a venit ca ambasador al lui Dumnezeu, pentru a ne arata cum sa traim ca sa avem cele mai bune realizari in viata. Care au fost conditiile alese de Tatal infinit pentru Fiul Sau? Un camin izolat din muntii Galileii; o familie sustinuta prin munca cinstita si demna; lupta zilnica cu greutatile si conditiile vitrege; jertfirea de sine, economia si slujirea facuta cu rabdare si bucurie; ora de studiu langa mama Sa, cu sulul Scripturii deschis inaintea lor; linistea rasaritului sau apusului de soare in valceaua verde; lucrarile sfinte ale naturii; studierea creatiei si a providentei si comuniunea sufletului cu Dumnezeu - acestea erau conditiile si ocaziile vietii timpurii a lui Isus. 64:15 Ca sa invete femeile mai tinere sa-si iubeasca barbatii si copiii; sa fie cumpatate, cu viata curata, sa-si vada de treburile casei, sa fie bune, supuse barbatilor lor, pentru ca sa nu se vorbeasca de rau Cuvantul lui Dumnezeu. (Tit 2, 4.5) 64:16 Tot asa a fost cu marea majoritate a celor mai buni si mai nobili barbati din toate veacurile. Cititi istoria lui Avraam, Iacov, Iosif, Moise, David si Elisei. Studiati vietile barbatilor din vremurile de mai tarziu, care au ocupat cu multa vrednicie pozitii de incredere si raspundere, barbati a caror influenta a fost extrem de eficienta pentru inaltarea lumii. 64:17 Cati dintre acestia au fost crescuti in caminuri aflate la tara! Erau straini de ceea ce se numeste lux. Ei nu si-au petrecut tineretea in distractii. Multi au fost siliti sa lupte cu saracia si vitregiile soartei. Ei au invatat de timpuriu sa munceasca, iar viata lor activa, desfasurata in aer liber, a adus vigoare si elasticitate tuturor capacitatilor lor. Nevoiti sa depinda de propriile lor resurse, ei au invatat sa se lupte cu dificultatile si sa depaseasca obstacolele si au dobandit curaj si perseverenta. Au invatat lectiile increderii in sine si ale stapanirii de sine. Aflati intr-o mare masura la adapost de tovarasiile rele, ei au fost multumiti cu placerile naturale si cu prieteniile sanatoase. Erau simpli in ce priveste gusturile si moderati in obiceiurile lor. Se conduceau dupa principii si au crescut curati, puternici si cinstiti. Cand au fost chemati la lucrarea vietii lor, au adus pentru aceasta putere fizica si intelectuala, un spirit optimist, abilitatea de a planifica si de a executa si statornicia de a se impotrivi raului, lucru care a facut din ei o putere pentru bine in lume. 64:18 Cea mai buna mostenire pe care o puteti da copiilor vostri nu este bogatia materiala, ci un trup sanatos, o minte echilibrata si unui caracter nobil. Cei care inteleg in ce 64:19 consta adevaratul succes al vietii se vor intelepti la timp. Ei vor avea in vedere care sunt cele mai bune lucruri ale vietii cand isi vor alege caminul. 64:20 In loc de a vietui acolo unde nu pot fi vazute decat lucrarile oamenilor, unde privelistile si sunetele nutresc adesea ganduri indreptate catre rau, unde framantarea si zapaceala aduc oboseala si tulburare, mergeti acolo unde puteti contempla lucrarile lui Dumnezeu. Gasiti-va odihna spiritului in frumusetea, linistea si pacea naturii. Lasati ca ochiul sa se odihneasca asupra campurilor verzi, asupra dumbravilor si dealurilor. Priviti sus, la cerul albastru, neacoperit de praful si fumul orasului, si respirati aerul inviorator al cerului. Duceti-va acolo unde, departe de zapaceala si desfraul vietii de la oras, le puteti oferi copiilor tovarasia voastra, unde ii puteti invata despre Dumnezeu prin lucrarile Sale si pregati pentru o viata integra si folositoare. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
