53:1 PREGATIREA HRANEI

53:2 Este rau sa mancam numai pentru a ne satisface apetitul, insa nu ar trebui sa manifestam deloc indiferenta in ce priveste calitatea hranei sau modul ei de pregatire. Daca nu gasim placere in ceea ce mancam, corpul nu va fi atat de bine hranit. Alimentele ar trebui alese cu grija si pregatite rational si cu pricepere.

53:3 Pentru a face paine, faina alba rafinata nu este cea mai indicata. Folosirea ei nu este nici sanatoasa, nici economicoasa. Painii facute din faina rafinata ii lipsesc elementele nutritive care pot fi gasite in painea facuta din faina integrala. Ea este cauza frecventa a constipatiei si a altor stari nesanatoase.

53:4 Folosirea bicarbonatului de sodiu sau a prafului de copt la facerea painii este daunatoare si inutila; bicarbonatul de sodiu produce inflamarea stomacului si deseori otraveste intregul organism. Multe gospodine gandesc ca nu pot face o paine buna fara folosirea bicarbonatului, dar acest lucru este o eroare. Daca s-ar stradui sa deprinda niste metode mai bune, painea lor ar fi mai hranitoare si, pentru cei care au un gust natural, ar fi mult mai gustoasa.

53:5 Si Dumnezeu a zis: "Iata ca v-am dat orice iarba care face samanta si care este pe fata intregului pamant, si orice pom, care are in el rod cu samanta: aceasta sa fie hrana voastra. (Geneza 1,29)

53:6 In cazul painii crescute (painea facuta cu drojdie), nu ar trebui folosit laptele in locul apei. Folosirea laptelui este o cheltuiala in plus si face painea mult mai putin hranitoare. Painea facuta cu lapte nu se pastreaza proaspata atat de mult ca aceea facuta cu apa si fermenteaza mai repede in stomac.

53:7 Painea ar trebui sa fie usoara si proaspata. Nici cel mai usor miros de acru nu ar trebui tolerat. Painile ar trebui sa fie mici si atat de bine coapte, incat, pe cat este posibil, germenii din drojdie sa fie distrusi. Cand este fierbinte sau foarte proaspata, painea crescuta, de orice fel ar fi, este greu de digerat. Nu ar trebui sa fie pusa niciodata pe masa. Aceasta regula nu se aplica si la painea facuta cu aluat nefermentat. Chiflele proaspete facute din faina integrala, fara drojdie sau aluat crescut, si coapte intr-un cuptor bine incins sunt si hranitoare, si gustoase.

53:8 Cerealele folosite pentru porridge [O budinca din cereale fierte (de obicei ovaz), asemanatoare grisului cu lapte (n.tr.) sau "mush"Orice fel de fiertura din cereale (chiar mamaliga), terci, "coleasa" (n.tr.).] ar trebui gatite timp de mai multe ore. Insa alimentele moi sau lichide sunt mai putin hranitoare decat alimentele uscate, care au nevoie de o buna mestecare. Zwieback (sau painea coapta de doua ori) este unul din alimentele cele mai usor de digerat si mai gustoase. Painea crescuta, obisnuita, sa fie taiata in felii si uscata intr-un cuptor cald, pana cand orice urma de umezeala a disparut. Apoi sa fie rumenita usor peste tot. Intr-un loc uscat, aceasta paine poate fi pastrata mult mai mult decat painea obisnuita, iar daca este reincalzita inainte de a fi folosita, va fi la fel de proaspata ca atunci cand a fost facuta.

53:9 Alimentele sunt facute cu mult prea mult zahar. Prajituri, budinci dulci, placinte, jeleuri, gemuri, toate acestea sunt cauze principale ale indigestiei. Deosebit de daunatoare sunt cremele si budincile in care ingredientele principale sunt laptele, ouale si zaharul.

53:10 Folosirea neingradita a laptelui si zaharului - impreuna - ar trebui sa fie evitata.

53:11 Daca se foloseste lapte, ar trebui sa fie bine sterilizat; prin aceasta precautie, exista un pericol mai mic de a contracta o boala prin folosirea lui. Untul este mai putin daunator cand este consumat pe paine rece decat cand este folosit la gatit. De regula insa, este mai bine sa ne lipsim complet de el. Branza este si mai putin recomandabila; este total nepotrivita ca aliment.

53:12 Hrana saraca, prost gatita, strica sangele, slabind organele care produc sange. Ea deranjeaza organismul si provoaca boala, aducand o data cu ea "nervii" si proasta dispozitie temperamentala. Victimele gatitului necorespunzator se numara cu miile si zecile de mii. Pe multe morminte ar putea fi scris: "Mort din pricina hranei gatite prost"; "mort din cauza stomacului epuizat".

53:13 Pentru cele care gatesc, este o datorie sacra aceea de a invata cum sa pregateasca o mancare sanatoasa. Se pierd multe suflete din pricina gatitului necorespunzator. Este nevoie de gandire si grija pentru a face o paine buna; insa exista mai multa religie intr-o franzela buna decat cred multi. Sunt putine bucatarese cu adevarat bune. Tinerele cred ca este injositor sa gatesti si sa faci tot felul de alte lucruri legate de gospodarie; si pentru acest motiv, multe fete care se marita si au in grija familiile lor nu au decat o vaga idee despre indatoririle care-i revin unei sotii si mame.

53:14 Gatitul nu este o stiinta neinsemnata, este chiar una esentiala in viata obisnuita. Este o stiinta pe care ar trebui s-o deprinda toate femeile

53:15 si ar trebui sa fie predata in asa fel, incat sa aduca foloase celor mai saraci. Este nevoie de pricepere pentru a face ca mancarea sa fie apetisanta si in acelasi timp simpla si hranitoare; dar aceasta se poate. Bucataresele ar trebui sa stie cum sa pregateasca o hrana simpla intr-un mod simplu si sanatos, in asa fel incat sa fie mai gustoasa, dar si mai hranitoare, tocmai din pricina simplitatii ei.

53:16 Orice femeie care conduce o familie si totusi nu intelege arta gatitului sanatos ar trebui sa se hotarasca sa invete ceea ce este esential pentru bunastarea celor din caminul ei. In multe locuri, scoli de gatit igienice ofera ocazia instruirii in aceasta directie. Cea care nu beneficiaza de ajutorul unei asemenea institutii ar trebui sa invete de la una din bucataresele bune si sa persevereze in eforturile ei de perfectionare, pana cand devine specialista in arta culinara.

53:17 Regularitatea meselor are o importanta vitala. Ar trebui sa existe un timp anume pentru fiecare masa. La acea ora, fiecare sa manance hrana ceruta de organism si dupa aceea sa nu mai consume nimic pana la masa urmatoare. Exista multi care mananca atunci cand organismul nu are nevoie de hrana, la intervale neregulate si intre mese, pentru ca nu au suficienta vointa pentru a se impotrivi inclinatiei lor. Cand calatoresc, unii rontaie neincetat cate ceva, daca gasesc ce, orice poate fi mancat. Acest lucru provoaca mult rau. Daca aceia care calatoresc ar manca in mod regulat alimente simple si hranitoare, nu ar simti o oboseala atat de mare si nici nu ar suferi atat de mult de greata.

53:18 Un alt obicei vatamator este acela de a manca imediat inainte de culcare. Poate ca mesele au fost servite in mod regulat; insa, din pricina unei senzatii de "sfarseala", ei mananca iarasi. Ingaduind aceasta practica gresita, ea devine obicei si adesea este atat de bine fixata, incat se crede ca este imposibil sa mergi la culcare fara sa mananci. Ca rezultat al faptului ca se mananca la ore tarzii, procesul digestiv continua in timpul orelor de somn. Insa, chiar daca stomacul lucreaza fara ragaz, lucrarea sa nu este bine infaptuita. Somnul

53:19 este adesea tulburat de vise neplacute, iar dimineata, persoana se trezeste fara a fi reimprospatata si fara prea mare pofta pentru micul dejun. Cand ne intindem sa ne odihnim, stomacul trebuie sa-si fi terminat toata lucrarea, pentru ca toate celelalte organe ale corpului sa se poata bucura de odihna. Cina tarzie este daunatoare in special pentru persoanele cu obiceiuri sedentare. In cazul lor, tulburarea care se produce este de cele mai multe ori inceputul unei boli care sfarseste prin moarte.

53:20 In multe cazuri, starea de slabiciune care duce la dorinta de a manca se produce din cauza ca organele au fost suprasolicitate in cursul zilei. Dupa ce termina de prelucrat hrana de la o masa, organele digestive au nevoie de odihna. Ar trebui sa existe cel putin cinci sau sase ore intre mese; iar cele mai multe persoane care vor dori sa incerce acest plan vor descoperi ca doua mese pe zi sunt mai bune decat trei.

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here. Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.

Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.

1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.

2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.

3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.

4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).

5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.

6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.

7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.

8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.


How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones

It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP) technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.

A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).

The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version. Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain the software to be installed on your mobile phone.

I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing, to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.

There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor) files. These JAD files has to be uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).

There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid

Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of the software.


1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
 

If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is enough to access https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/  from the browser of the mobile phone, and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more). After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile phone.

Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.

2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone

Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile phones.

If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared port of the computer (preferable laptop).

c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g. on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have larger fonts, full screen display etc.

3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone

Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check if exists).

4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:

a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next, you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the JAR desired file.

5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to download and run Java applications.


Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific models.

Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
