49:1 WILLIAM MILLER 49:2 Dumnezeu Si-a trimis ingerul pentru a misca inima unui fermier, care nu crezuse in Biblie, si pentru a-l conduce sa cerceteze profetiile. Ingeri ai lui Dumnezeu l-au vizitat in mod repetat pe cel ales pentru a-i calauzi mintea si pentru a deschide intelegerii lui profetii care au fost intotdeauna acoperite de intuneric pentru poporul lui Dumnezeu. I-a fost dat inceputul lantului adevarului si a fost condus mai departe sa caute veriga dupa veriga, pana cand a privit minunat si cu admiratie asupra Cuvantului lui Dumnezeu. A vazut acolo un lant perfect al adevarului. Acel Cuvant pe care il privise ca neinspirat i s-a deschis acum inaintea ochilor in frumusetea si slava lui. A vazut ca un pasaj din Biblie il explica pe altul, iar cand un pasaj era inchis pentru priceperea lui, el gasea in alta parte a Cuvantului ceea ce ii oferea explicatia. A privit Cuvantul sacru al lui Dumnezeu cu bucurie si cu cel mai profund respect si teama. 49:3 Urmarind firul prorociilor, el a vazut ca locuitorii pamantului traiau in ajunul scenelor de incheiere ale istoriei acestui pamant si, totusi, nu stiau aceasta. S-a uitat catre biserici si a vazut ca erau stricate; ele alesesera sa iubeasca lumea in locul lui Isus; cautau onoarea lumeasca, in locul aceleia care vine de sus; intindeau mana dupa bogatii lumesti, in loc sa-si stranga o comoara in ceruri. A putut vedea pretutindeni fatarnicie, intunecime si moarte. Duhul lui era miscat inlauntrul sau. Dumnezeu l-a chemat sa-si lase ferma, asa cum El l-a chemat si pe Elisei sa-si lase boii si campul in care trudea, pentru a-l urma pe Ilie. Tremurand, William Miller a inceput sa desfasoare inaintea oamenilor tainele Imparatiei lui Dumnezeu, conducandu-i pe ascultatorii lui pe firul profetiilor pana la cea de-a doua venire a lui 49:4 Hristos. El capata putere cu fiecare efort depus. Asa cum Ioan Botezatorul a vestit prima venire a lui Isus si a pregatit calea pentru venirea Sa, William Miller si cei care i s-au alaturat au vestit cea de-a doua venire a Fiului lui Dumnezeu. 49:5 Mi s-au aratat cele intamplate in zilele ucenicilor si am vazut ca Dumnezeu avea o lucrare speciala pentru preaiubitul Ioan. Satana era hotarat sa impiedice aceasta lucrare si si-a impins slujitorii sa-l ucida pe Ioan. Dar Dumnezeu Si-a trimis ingerul si l-a pastrat in viata intr-un mod minunat. Toti cei ce au fost martori la manifestarea marii puteri a lui Dumnezeu in izbavirea lui Ioan au fost uluiti si multi au fost convinsi ca Dumnezeu era cu el si ca marturia pe care o dadea acesta cu privire la Isus era corecta. Cei care cautau sa-l nimiceasca s-au temut sa incerce din nou sa-i ia viata si acestuia i s-a ingaduit sa sufere mai departe pentru Isus. A fost acuzat pe nedrept de catre vrajmasii lui si a fost in scurta vreme exilat pe o insula singuratica, unde Domnul Si-a trimis ingerul pentru a-i descoperi evenimente care urmau sa aiba loc pe pamant si starea bisericii pana la sfarsit - apostazia ei si pozitia pe care ar ocupa-o daca i-ar face pe plac lui Dumnezeu si, daca in final, ar birui. 49:6 Ingerul din cer a venit la Ioan in splendoarea sa, infatisarea lui stralucind de slava minunata a lui Dumnezeu. I-a descoperit lui Ioan scenele de adanc si emotionant interes din istoria bisericii lui Dumnezeu si a adus inaintea lui conflictele primejdioase pe care urmasii lui Hristos aveau sa le indure. Ioan i-a vazut trecand prin incercari de foc, lamuriti si incercati si, in cele din urma, biruitori salvati intr-un mod glorios in Imparatia lui Dumnezeu. Fata ingerului era tot mai stralucitoare de bucurie, peste masura de luminoasa, in timp ce-i arata lui Ioan triumful final al bisericii lui Dumnezeu. Cand apostolul a privit izbavirea din urma a bisericii, a fost uimit de slava acelei scene si, 49:7 cu adanc respect si teama, a cazut la picioarele ingerului pentru a i se inchina. Solul ceresc l-a ridicat imediat si l-a mustrat cu delicatete, spunand: "Fereste-te sa faci una ca aceasta! Eu sunt un impreuna slujitor cu tine si cu fratii tai care pastreaza marturia lui Isus. Lui Dumnezeu inchina-te: caci marturia lui Isus este duhul prorociei." Ingerul i-a aratat apoi lui Ioan Cetatea Cereasca in toata splendoarea si slava sa orbitoare, iar el, fermecat si coplesit, uitand complet de mustrarea anterioara a ingerului, a cazut din nou la picioarele acestuia pentru a i se inchina. Din nou i s-a dat o mustrare blanda: "Fereste-te sa faci una ca aceasta! Eu sunt un impreuna slujitor cu tine si cu fratii tai, prorocii, si cu cei ce pazesc cuvintele din cartea aceasta. Inchina-te lui Dumnezeu!" 49:8 Predicatorii si poporul au privit asupra cartii Apocalipsei ca fiind tainica si de o mai mica importanta decat alte portiuni ale Sfintelor Scripturi. Dar am vazut ca aceasta carte este intr-adevar o descoperire data spre folosul special al celor care vor trai in ultimele zile, pentru a-i ajuta sa afle cu certitudine care este adevarata lor pozitie si datorie. Dumnezeu a calauzit mintea lui William Miller spre profetii si i-a dat o mare lumina asupra cartii Apocalipsei. 49:9 Daca ar fi fost intelese viziunile lui Daniel, poporul ar fi putut intelege mai bine viziunile lui Ioan. La vremea potrivita, insa, Dumnezeu l-a insufletit pe slujitorul Sau ales care, cu claritate si in puterea Duhului Sfant, a deschis profetiile, a aratat armonia care exista intre viziunile lui Daniel si cele ale lui Ioan si alte pasaje ale Bibliei si a imprimat cu putere in inimile oamenilor avertizarile infricosatoare, sfinte, ale Cuvantului, in vederea pregatirii pentru venirea Fiului omului. O convingere adanca si solemna a cuprins mintea celor care l-au auzit si, pastori si popor, pacatosi si necredinciosi s-au intors la Domnul si au cautat sa aiba o pregatire care sa-i indreptateasca la judecata. 49:10 Ingeri ai lui Dumnezeu l-au insotit pe William Miller in misiunea sa. El era ferm si netulburat, proclamand neinfricat solia ce ii fusese incredintata. O lume care zacea in faradelege si o biserica rece, lumeasca au fost de-ajuns pentru a-i pune la lucru toata energia si pentru a-l face sa indure de bunavoie truda, lipsurile si suferinta. Desi i se impotriveau asa-zisii crestini si lumea si era lovit de Satana si de ingerii lui, nu a incetat sa predice multimilor Evanghelia vesnica, oriunde era invitat, facand sa rasune in departare si in apropiere strigatul: "Temeti-va de Dumnezeu si dati-I slava, caci a sosit ceasul judecatii Lui!" |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
