17:1 MESAGERII [Vezi Apendicele (n. ed.)] 17:2 Domnul mi-a oferit adesea o imagine a situatiei si nevoilor margaritarelor risipite, care nu au ajuns inca la lumina adevarului prezent si mi-a aratat ca solii ar trebui sa-si croiasca un drum in cea mai mare graba catre acestia, pentru a le da lumina. Multi, aflati pretutindeni in jurul nostru, nu au nevoie decat sa li se indeparteze prejudecatile si sa le fie puse inainte dovezile din Cuvant ale pozitiei noastre actuale si ei vor primi cu bucurie adevarul prezent. Solii trebuie sa vegheze asupra sufletelor ca unii care vor trebui sa dea socoteala. Viata lor trebuie sa fie plina de truda si de chin sufletesc, in timp ce asupra lor apasa greutatea scumpei, dar ades-prejudiciatei cauze a lui Hristos. Ei vor trebui sa lase deoparte confortul si interesele lumesti si sa-si stabileasca drept prim obiectiv faptul de a face tot ce le sta in putere pentru inaintarea cauzei adevarului prezent si salvarea sufletelor care pier. 17:3 Vor avea si o rasplata bogata. In cununile bucuriei lor, cei care sunt salvati de ei si, in final, mantuiti vor straluci ca stelele in veci de veci. Si, in toata vesnicia, ei se vor bucura de satisfactia de a fi facut ceea ce au putut pentru prezentarea adevarului in curatia si frumusetea lui, astfel incat sufletele s-au indragostit de el, au fost sfintite prin el si s-au folosit de privilegiul inestimabil de a fi facuti bogati, de a fi spalati in sangele Mielului si rascumparati pentru Dumnezeu. 17:4 Am vazut ca pastorii ar trebui sa-i consulte pe cei in care au motive sa se increada, cei care au participat la toate soliile si sunt neclintiti in tot adevarul prezent - aceasta inainte de a sustine noi puncte importante despre care cred ca sunt sprijinite de Biblie. Atunci pastorii vor fi intr-o desavarsita unire, si 17:5 unitatea dintre pastori va fi simtita de biserica. Am vazut ca o astfel de cale va impiedica dezbinari nefericite si atunci nu va fi nici o primejdie ca turma pretioasa sa fie despartita si oile imprastiate, fara pastor. 17:6 Am vazut totodata ca Dumnezeu avea soli pe care ar fi vrut sa-i foloseasca in cauza Sa, dar care nu erau pregatiti. Erau prea usuratici si superficiali pentru a exercita o influenta buna asupra turmei si nu simteau povara cauzei si valoarea sufletelor asa cum trebuie sa simta solii lui Dumnezeu pentru a avea rezultate bune. Ingerul a spus: "Fiti curati, voi care purtati vasele Domnului, fiti curati, voi care purtati vasele Domnului". Ei nu pot face decat putin bine, daca nu sunt cu totul predati lui Dumnezeu si nu simt importanta si solemnitatea ultimei solii de har, care este data acum turmei risipite. Unii, care nu sunt chemati de Dumnezeu, sunt foarte dispusi sa mearga cu solia. Daca insa ar simti greutatea cauzei si responsabilitatile unei asemenea pozitii, vor simti nevoia de a se da inapoi si de a zice impreuna cu apostolul: "Cine este potrivit pentru aceste lucruri?" Un motiv pentru care sunt atat de dornici sa mearga este acela ca Dumnezeu nu a pus asupra lor greutatea cauzei. Nu toti cei care au vestit prima si cea de-a doua solie ingereasca urmeaza s-o vesteasca pe cea de-a treia, nici chiar dupa ce o imbratiseaza cu totul, caci unii s-au aflat in atatea rataciri si amagiri, incat nu vor putea decat cel mult sa-si salveze propriile suflete, iar daca isi asuma raspunderea de a-i calauzi pe altii, vor fi exact mijloacele prin care li se va provoca acestora prabusirea. Dar am vazut ca unii, care fusesera mai inainte peste masura de adanciti in fanatism, erau primii care alergau acum, inainte sa-i trimita Dumnezeu, inainte de a fi curatiti de ratacirile din trecut; ei hraneau turma lui Dumnezeu cu rataciri amestecate cu adevar si, daca erau lasati sa mearga mai departe, turma se imbolnavea si urmau tulburarile si moartea. Am vazut ca acestia trebuia sa fie cernuti din nou si din nou, pana cand erau eliberati de toate ratacirile pe care le credeau, 17:7 in caz contrar, ei neputand niciodata sa intre in Imparatie. Solii nu ar putea avea aceeasi incredere, in judecata si discernamantul persoanelor care au sustinut rataciri si au fost cuprinsi de fanatism, pe care ar avea-o in cei care au fost in adevar si nu in greseli grosolane. De asemenea, multi sunt prea repede dispusi sa-i trimita in campul misionar pe unii care abia au marturisit credinta in adevarul prezent, care au mult de invatat si de facut inainte de a fi ei insisi drepti inaintea lui Dumnezeu, ca sa nu mai vorbim de faptul de a le arata altora calea. 17:8 Am vazut necesitatea ca in special solii sa vegheze si sa opreasca orice urma de fanatism, ori unde l-ar vedea ridicandu-se. Satana forteaza intrarea din toate partile si, daca nu ne pazim de el, daca nu avem ochii deschisi pentru a-i vedea siretlicurile si capcanele si daca nu vom avea asupra noastra intreaga armatura a lui Dumnezeu, sagetile de foc ale celor rai ne vor atinge. Exista multe adevaruri pretioase in Cuvantul lui Dumnezeu, dar turma are nevoie acum de "adevarul prezent". Am vazut primejdia ca solii sa fuga de punctele importante ale adevarului prezent si sa se ocupe de subiecte care nu sunt menite sa aduca unitate in turma si sa sfinteasca sufletul. Satana se va folosi aici de orice avantaj posibil pentru a aduce vatamare cauzei. 17:9 Insa astfel de subiecte, cum ar fi Sanctuarul, studiat in legatura cu cele 2300 de zile, poruncile lui Dumnezeu si credinta lui Isus, sunt foarte potrivite pentru a explica miscarea adventa care a trecut si a arata care este pozitia noastra prezenta, a intari credinta celor care se indoiesc si de a oferi siguranta unui viitor glorios. Am vazut in mod repetat ca acestea erau subiectele principale de care ar trebui sa se ocupe solii. 17:10 Daca solii alesi ai lui Dumnezeu ar astepta pana cand toate obstacolele ar fi indepartate din calea lor, multi nu s-ar duce niciodata sa caute oile ratacite. Satana le va pune inainte multe obiectii pentru a-i opri de la implinirea datoriei. Dar ei va trebui sa iasa prin credinta, 17:11 punandu-si increderea in Acela care i-a chemat in lucrarea Sa, si El va deschide calea inaintea lor in masura in care va fi pentru binele lor si slava Sa. Isus, marele Invatator si Model, nu a avut unde sa-Si aseze capul. Viata Sa a fost o viata de truda, intristare si suferinta; apoi S-a dat pe Sine pentru noi. Cei care, in locul lui Hristos, implora suflete sa se impace cu Dumnezeu si care nadajduiesc sa domneasca impreuna cu Hristos in slava trebuie sa se astepte sa fie partasi la suferintele Sale aici. "Cei ce seamana cu lacrimi vor secera cu cantari de veselie. Cel ce umbla plangand cand arunca samanta, se intoarce cu veselie cand isi strange snopii." Psalmii 126,5.6 |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
