77:1 Cap. 75 - Cooperare intre scoli si sanatorii 77:2 Exista avantaje clare, obtinute prin infiintarea unei scoli si a unui sanatoriu in stransa vecinatate, pentru a se putea ajuta reciproc. Instructiuni referitoare la aceasta mi-au fost date atunci cand hotaram locul de construire a cladirilor din Takoma Park. Ori de cate ori este posibil a avea o scoala si un sanatoriu destul de apropiate pentru a coopera avantajos si totusi destul de separate pentru prevenirea interferarii lucrarii uneia cu a celeilalte, fratietatea noastra trebuie sa acorde cea mai atenta considerare beneficiilor plasarii acestor institutii, astfel incat sa se poata ajuta reciproc. Una va da influenta si putere celeilalte si, de asemenea, pot fi economisiti bani de catre amandoua, pentru faptul ca fiecare dintre ele poate fi partasa la avantajele celeilalte. 77:3 Lucrarea medical-evanghelistica 77:4 In ceea ce priveste scolile noastre mai mari, trebuie asigurate facilitati pentru a se oferi elevilor o buna instruire referitoare la lucrarea medical-misionara, evanghelistica. Acest domeniu al lucrarii trebuie inclus in programa de invatamant din scolile noastre. Elevii trebuie sa invete cum se ingrijeste un bolnav, deoarece multi dintre ei vor avea de facut acest gen de lucrare cand vor fi misionari in campurile in care au fost chemati. Ei trebuie invatati cum sa foloseasca remediile naturale in tratamentul bolii. In vreme ce obtin o cunoastere a adevarului, 77:5 ei trebuie, de asemenea, sa invete sa fie slujitori ai sanatatii pentru cei pentru care lucreaza. Ei trebuie sa primeasca o instruire inteleapta in ceea ce priveste principiile unei vieti sanatoase. Aceasta trebuie privita ca o parte importanta a educatiei lor, chiar daca s-ar putea ca niciodata sa nu ajunga misionari in tari straine. Chiar din scoala primara, copiii trebuie invatati sa-si formeze obiceiuri care sa le pastreze sanatatea. 77:6 Cei care sunt in curs de a deveni cadre sanitare trebuie sa fie zilnic instruiti, astfel incat sa fie cat se poate de puternic motivati sa avanseze in cunoastere. Ei trebuie sa frecventeze colegiile si scolile noastre de pregatire. Iar profesorii acestor institutii de invatamant trebuie sa-si dea seama de responsabilitatea de a lucra si a se ruga cu elevii lor. Elevii trebuie sa invete sa fie adevarati misionari medicali, strans legati de lucrarea de evanghelizare... 77:7 Ori de cate ori un sanatoriu bine dotat ia fiinta pe langa o scoala, el poate spori substantial eficienta misionara a acesteia, daca exista cooperare intre cele doua institutii. Profesorii scolii ii pot ajuta pe lucratorii din sanatoriu prin sfatul lor si stand, uneori, de vorba cu pacientii. In schimb, cei responsabili cu sanatoriul pot asista pregatirea practica a elevilor care doresc sa devina misionari medicali. Desigur, conditiile locale vor determina detaliile aranjamentelor cel mai bine de stabilit. Cand angajatii celor doua institutii vor, in mod neegoist, sa se ajute reciproc, binecuvantarea lui Dumnezeu va fi cu siguranta peste fiecare dintre ele. 77:8 Nimeni, fie ca este profesor, medic ori pastor, nu poate spera vreodata sa fie el totul. Dumnezeu a dat fiecarui om anumite daruri si a randuit ca oamenii sa se asocieze in slujba Lui, pentru ca diferitele talente ale diferitelor persoane sa se poata impleti. Contactul unei mintii cu alta invioreaza gandirea si sporeste priceperea. Minusurile unui lucrator sunt adesea compensate de darurile altuia. Si, in vreme ce medicii si profesorii se asociaza in acest mod, pentru a-si impartasi cunostintele, tinerii aflati sub controlul lor vor primi o educatie echilibrata pentru slujire. 77:9 Binele pacientilor 77:10 Beneficiile unei cooperari sincere si armonioase se extind dincolo de cei care o exercita - medici si profesori, elevi si cadre sanitare. Atunci cand un sanatoriu este construit langa o scoala, cei raspunzatori de institutia de invatamant au un bun prilej de a fi un exemplu deosebit pentru cei care toata viata au fost niste comozi si care au venit in sanatoriu pentru tratament. Pacientii vor observa contrastul dintre o viata comoda, egoista si viata de renuntare la sine si slujire, traita de urmasii lui Hristos. Ei vor vedea ca obiectivul lucrarii medical-misionare este de a reface, indrepta si arata fiintelor omenesti cum sa evite ingaduinta de sine, care aduce boala si moarte. 77:11 Cuvintele si actiunile lucratorilor dintr-un sanatoriu si dintr-o scoala apropiata trebuie sa arate clar ca viata este ceva foarte solemn, gandindu-ne ca fiecare dintre noi va da socoteala despre sine insusi lui Dumnezeu. Fiecare trebuie sa-si puna acum 77:12 talentul la schimbator, sporind darul de la Domnul si binecuvantand pe altii cu binecuvantarile primite de el insusi. 77:13 Unitate intre lucratori 77:14 Pentru obtinerea celor mai bune rezultate in urma infiintarii unui sanatoriu in apropiere de o scoala, este nevoie de o perfecta unitate intre lucratorii ambelor institutii. Cateodata, asa ceva este greu de realizat, indeosebi atunci cand profesorii si medicii tind sa considere ca lucrarea in care sunt implicati este cea mai importanta. Atunci cand la conducerea unor institutii apropiate se afla oameni plini de sine, poate rezulta o mare tulburare, daca fiecare urmareste doar realizarea propriilor planuri, refuzand sa faca concesii altora. Cei din fruntea sanatoriului si cei din fruntea scolii trebuie sa se fereasca de insistenta urmaririi propriilor idei, vizand lucruri care sunt in realitate lipsite de importanta. 77:15 Slujire consacrata 77:16 O mare lucrare trebuie facuta de catre sanatoriile si scolile noastre. Timpul este scurt. Ceea ce este necesar a se face trebuie facut repede. Cei implicati in aceasta lucrare importanta trebuie sa fie pe deplin consacrati. Sa nu fie egoisti, sa nu traiasca pentru scopuri lumesti, retinandu-se de la o completa consacrare in slujba lui Dumnezeu. Sa se predea trup, suflet si spirit lu sDumnezeu pentru a fi folositi de El in salvarea de suflete. Ei nu au libertatea de a se intrebuinta dupa bunul lor plac. Ei apartin lui Dumnezeu, deoarece El i-a cumparat cu sangele singurului Sau Fiu. 77:17 Si, atunci cand au invatat sa ramana in Hristos, in inima lor nu va mai fi loc pentru eu. Ei vor gasi deplina satisfactie in slujirea Lui. 77:18 Asa ceva sa fie invatat si trait de lucratorii medical-misionari. Ei trebuie sa le spuna acelora cu care vin in contact ca viata pe care o duc acum barbatii si femeile va fi intr-o zi analizata de un Dumnezeu drept si ca fiecare trebuie sa faca acum tot ce poate mai bine, oferindu-I lui Dumnezeu o slujire devotata. Aceia care poarta raspunderea scolii trebuie sa-i invete pe elevi sa-si intrebuinteze talantii incredintati lor de Dumnezeu pentru a putea face cel mai mare bine in aceasta lume. Elevii trebuie sa invete ce inseamna a avea o adevarata tinta in viata si sa obtina o intelegere inalta a ceea ce inseamna adevarata educatie, sa stie ce inseamna a fi un veritabil misionar medical al Evangheliei, misionar care poate lucra alaturi de slujitorii Cuvantului, in campurile in care este nevoie. 77:19 Oriunde exista o ocazie favorabila, sanatoriile si scolile noastre trebuie sa se ajute reciproc. Domnul vrea ca lucrarea Sa sa avanseze cu putere. Sa straluceasca puternic lumina prin institutiile Sale, asa cum a harazit Dumnezeu, iar El sa fie slavit si onorat. Acesta este planul cerului in infiintarea scolilor si sanatoriilor noastre. Medicii si asistentii, profesorii si elevii sa umble, in umilinta, cu Dumnezeu, increzandu-se pe deplin in El, ca singurul care poate face sa reuseasca lucrarea lor. (14 Noiembrie, 1905). |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
