76:1 Cap. 74 - Tinerii, ca misionari 76:2 Tinerii care doresc sa intre in lucrare ca pastori, colportori sau misionari trebuie, mai intai, sa primeasca un anume grad de pregatire intelectuala, cat si o pregatire speciala pentru slujba chemarii lor. Cei neinstruiti si neslefuiti nu sunt pregatiti pentru a merge acolo unde puternice influente ale talentelor si educatiei combat adevarurile Cuvantului lui Dumnezeu. Si nici nu vor putea face fata cu succes combinatiilor ciudate de eroare filozofica si religioasa, pentru infruntarea carora este nevoie de o cunoastere atat a adevarului stiintific, cat si a celui scripturistic. 76:3 Aceia care au in vedere lucrarea de pastor trebuie sa fie constienti de importanta metodei pregatirii lor pe baza scripturistica. Ei trebuie sa invete de la Marele Profesor blandetea si umilinta lui Hristos. Un Dumnezeu care Isi tine legamantul a fagaduit ca, drept raspuns la rugaciune, Duhul Sau va fi revarsat peste aceia care invata in scoala lui Hristos, pentru ca ei sa devina slujitori ai neprihanirii. 76:4 Munca de a scoate din minte eroarea si falsa doctrina, pentru ca adevarul si religia Bibliei sa poata gasi un loc in inima, este o munca grea. Ca mijloc randuit de Dumnezeu pentru pregatirea tinerilor si tinerelor pentru diversele departamente ale lucrarii misionare, au fost infiintate colegiile noastre. Dorinta lui Dumnezeu este ca din ele sa iasa multi lucratori. Dar Satana, hotarat sa-si atinga telul, si-a recrutat chiar dintre aceia pe care Dumnezeu voia sa-i pregateasca pentru a fi folositori in lucrarea Sa. Sunt multi care ar putea 76:5 lucra, daca ar fi pusi sa o faca, si care si-ar putea mantui sufletul lucrand astfel. Biserica trebuie sa fie constienta de marea ei responsabilitate in raspandirea luminii adevarului si in concentrarea harului lui Dumnezeu in interiorul ei, iar influenta si banii ar trebui pusi in slujba trimiterii de persoane competente in campul misionar. 76:6 Sute de tineri ar fi trebuit sa fie pregatiti pentru a avea un rol important in lucrarea de raspandire a semintei adevarului in toata lumea. Avem nevoie de barbati care sa puna in evidenta valorile crucii, care sa persevereze cand vin descurajari si privatiuni, care sa aiba zelul, hotararea si credinta care sunt indispensabile in campul misionar. 76:7 Limbi straine 76:8 Se afla printre noi dintre aceia care, fara sa se straduiasca sa invete o limba straina, ar putea fi buni sa proclame adevarul altor natiuni. In biserica primara, misionarii au fost in chip miraculos inzestrati cu o cunoastere a limbilor in care era nevoie sa prezinte bogatiile nepatrunse ale lui Hristos. Si daca Dumnezeu a fost dispus sa-si ajute atunci servii in acest chip, putem noi sa ne indoim ca binecuvantarea Sa va insoti eforturile noastre de a-i califica pe cei care, in mod natural, poseda cunoasterea unor limbi straine si care, incurajati cum trebuie, vor duce conationalilor lor adevarul? Am fi putut avea mai multi lucratori in campurile misionare straine, daca cei angajati in aceste campuri s-ar fi folosit de orice talent aflat la dispozitia lor. 76:9 In unele cazuri, ar putea fi nevoie ca tinerii sa invete limbi straine. Ei pot face aceasta 76:10 cu cea mai mare eficienta, intrand in legatura cu vorbitorii respectivei limbi si, in acelasi timp, dedicand in fiecare zi un timp studiului ei. Aceasta trebuie facuta, totusi, doar ca un pas pregatitor, necesar invatarii celor care, ei insisi, se afla in campurile misionare si care, cu o pregatire adecvata, pot deveni, la randul lor, lucratori. Este important sa fie indemnati spre lucrare aceia care pot vorbi diferitelor natiuni in limba lor materna. Este un mare efort pentru un barbat de varsta medie sa invete o limba straina. Cu toate stradaniile lui, ii va fi aproape imposibil sa vorbeasca usor si corect in masura in care sa se dovedeasca un lucrator eficient. 76:11 Este nevoie de tineri in locurile grele 76:12 Nu ne putem permite sa ne privam misiunile locale de influenta slujitorilor de varsta mijlocie sau a celor in varsta pentru a-i trimite in campuri indepartate, ca sa se angajeze intr-o lucrare pentru care nu sunt pregatiti si pentru care nici o pregatire nu-i poate face in stare sa se adapteze. Oamenii astfel trimisi lasa locuri goale pe care lucratorii fara experienta nu le pot suplini. 76:13 Dar biserica poate sa se intrebe daca nu cumva tinerii pot fi acreditati cu marile raspunderi ce le implica infiintarea si conducerea unei misiuni straine. Raspunsul meu este ca Domnul a desemnat ca ei sa fie astfel pregatiti in colegiile noastre, prin asocierea in lucrare cu barbati cu experienta, incat sa poata fi capabili sa conduca diferite departamente. Trebuie sa manifestam incredere in tinerii nostri. Ei trebuie sa fie pionieri in orice intreprindere care implica truda si sacrificiu, in vreme ce servii mai in 76:14 varsta ai lui Hristos vor fi pastrati ca sfatuitori, care sa-i incurajeze si sa-i binecuvanteze pe aceia care se straduiesc din rasputeri pentru Dumnezeu. Providenta i-a impins in pozitii de raspundere pe acesti patriarhi plini de experienta la o varsta tanara, cand nici puterile fizice, nici cele intelectuale nu le erau pe deplin dezvoltate. Dimensiunea increderii ce le-a fost acordate le-a stimulat energiile, iar activitatea lor vie in lucrare a ajutat la dezvoltarea lor fizica si intelectuala, deopotriva. 76:15 Este nevoie de tineri. Dumnezeu ii cheama in campuri misionare. Fiind, in comparatie cu altii, liberi de griji si alte raspunderi, ei sunt mai disponibili pentru a se angaja in lucrare decat cei care trebuie sa asigure indrumarea si intretinerea unei familii. Pe langa aceasta, tinerii se pot adapta mai usor schimbarii de clima si societate si pot rezista mai bine la greutati. Prin tact si perseverenta, ei pot atinge inima oamenilor, la ei acasa. 76:16 Puterea vine prin exercitiu. Toti cei care-si pun la lucru priceperea pe care le-a dat-o Dumnezeu vor avea o capacitate sporita de a se dedica slujirii Lui. Aceia care nu fac nimic pentru cauza lui Dumnezeu nu vor creste in har si in cunoasterea adevarului. Barbatul care va sta inactiv, refuzand sa-si puna la lucru bratele, isi va pierde in scurta vreme toata puterea de a le folosi. La fel, crestinul care nu-si va exersa capacitatile lasate de Dumnezeu, nu numai ca nu va putea sa creasca in Hristos, dar isi va pierde si puterea pe care deja o avea, devenind un paralitic spiritual. Aceia care, cu dragoste pentru Dumnezeu si pentru semeni, se straduiesc sa-i ajute pe altii, sunt cei care sunt fixati si intariti in adevar. Crestinul adevarat lucreaza pentru Dumnezeu nu din impuls, 76:17 ci din principiu, nu pentru o zi sau o luna, ci tot timpul vietii... 76:18 Maestrul cheama lucratori pentru Evanghelie. Cine va raspunde? Nu toti care intra in armata vor fi generali, capitani, sergenti, nici macar caporali. Nu toti vor avea raspunderea de comandanti. Exista si altfel de treburi grele. Este nevoie ca unii sa sape transee si sa ridice fortificatii, altii sa stea santinele, iar altii sa poarte mesaje. Ofiterii sunt putini, in vreme ce este nevoie de multi soldati care sa formeze grosul armatei. Iar succesul armatei depinde de fidelitatea fiecarui soldat. Lasitatea sau tradarea unui singur om poate aduce dezastrul intregii armate. Cel care a dat de lucru fiecaruia dupa puterea sa nu va lasa nerasplatita indeplinirea cu credinciosie a datoriei. Orice act de loialitate si credinta va fi onorat cu distinctii speciale ale aprecierii lui Dumnezeu. Fiecarui lucrator ii este data fagaduinta "Cel ce umbla plangand, cand arunca samanta, se intoarce cu veselie, cand isi strange snopii." (Ps. 126, 6). (Testimonies, vol. 5, pg. 390-395). 76:19 Cunoasterea limbilor diferitelor popoare este un ajutor in lucrarea misionara. O intelegere a obiceiurilor celor care au trait in timpuri biblice, a locului si a timpului acelor evenimente, inseamna cunoasterea practica. Aceasta ajuta la imaginarea figurilor biblice si la evidentierea puterii lectiilor lui Hristos. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
