49:1 Cap. 47 - Distractiile lumesti 49:2 Daca exista ceva in lumea noastra, care ar trebuie sa inspire entuziasm, aceasta e crucea de pe Calvar. "Vedeti ce dragoste ne-a aratat Tatal, sa ne numim copii ai lui Dumnezeu! Si usntem. Lumea nu ne cunoaste, pentru ca nu L-a cunoscut nici pe El." (1 Ioan 3,1). "Fiindca atat de mult a iubit Dumnezeu lumea, incat a dat pe singurul lui Fiu, pentru ca oricine crede in El, sa nu piara, ci sa aiba viata vesnica." (Ioan 3,16). Hristos trebuie primit, crezut si glorificat. Aceasta trebuie sa fie tema conversatiei noastre - insemnatatea lui Hristos. 49:3 Reuniunile de placere 49:4 In vreme ce exista atata teama de prea mult entuziasm in slujirea lui Dumnezeu, entuziasmul se manifesta in alta directie, ce multora le pare pe deplin normala. Ma refer la reuniunile de placere, care au avut loc printre membrii nostri. Aceste ocazii au consumat mult din timpul si atentia celor care se declara servi ai lui Hristos. Dar au vizat aceste adunari slava Numelui Sau? A fost Isus invitat sa le prezideze? 49:5 Intalnirile cu caracter social pot fi folositoare si instructive in cel mai inalt grad atunci cand cei ce se aduna la un loc au vie in inima dragostea lui Dumnezeu. Ei se intalnesc pentru a analiza cai de avansare a 49:6 lucrarii Lui si de a face bine semenilor. Atunci cand nimic din ceea ce se spune si se face nu-L intristeaza pe Duhul Sfant al lui Dumnezeu, El este un oaspete binevenit la intalnire, Dumnezeu este onorat si cei care participa vor fi inviorati si revigorati. 49:7 "Atunci cei ce se tem de Domnul au vorbit adesea unul cu altul; Domnul a luat aminte la lucrul acesta, si a ascultat; si o carte de aducere aminte a fost scrisa inaintea Lui, pentru cei ce se tem de Domnul si cinstesc Numele Lui. 'Ei vor fi ai Mei' zice Domnul ostirilor, Imi vor fi o comoara deosebita in ziua pe care o pregatesc Eu. Voi avea mila de ei, cum are mila un om de fiul sau, care-i slujeste'" (Maleahi 3,17.18). 49:8 Dar au avut loc un fel de reuniuni de placere, avand cu totul altfel de caracter, intalniri de placere, care au insemnat o dezonoare pentru institutiile si pentru biserica noastra. Ele au incurajat mandria vestimentara, satisfacerea sinelui, ilaritatea si conversatia usoara. Satana este intretinut ca un oaspete de seama si ii acapareaza pe cei ce patroneaza astfel de reuniuni. 49:9 Mi-a fost prezentata o imagine a unei asemenea reuniuni, in care s-au intalnit dintre cei care pretind a crede adevarul. Cineva canta la un instrument muzical, iar cantecele care se auzeau ii faceau pe ingerii veghetori sa lacrimeze. Era veselie, erau rasete, entuziasm din abundenta si insufletire. Dar veselia era o veselie cum numai Satana stie sa creeze. De acest fel de entuziasm si buna dispozitie trebuie sa se rusineze toti cei care-L iubesc pe Dumnezeu. Ele inspira participantilor ganduri si actiuni nesfinte. Am motive sa cred ca unii dintre cei angajati in acea reuniune s-au cait din inima pentru rusinoasa lor performanta. 49:10 Multe astfel de reuniuni mi-au fost aratate. Am vazut veselia, etalarea vestimentara, podoabele Toti vor sa para stralucitori si se dedau la ilaritate, flecareli, glume proaste si rasete zgomotoase. Ochii sclipesc, obrajii se imbujoreaza, constiinta doarme. Mancand, band si veselindu-se, ei fac totul ca sa-L uite pe Dumnezeu. Placerea e paradisul lor, iar cerul priveste, vede si aude. 49:11 Mersul conversatiei evidentiaza comoara din inima. Discutia ieftina, banala, cuvintele usoare, spiritele proaste, facute pentru a starni rasul sunt bunurile lui Satana si toti care se dedau la astfel de discutii ii fac jocul. Cei care aud aceste lucruri, primesc impresii asemanatoare cu aceea a lui Irod, cand fiica Irodiadei a dansat inaintea lui. Toate aceste sunt inregistrate in cartile cerului si, in ultima si mareata zi, ele vor aparea in adevarata lor lumina inaintea celor vinovati. Atunci toti vor discerne in acestea seducatoarele si inselatoarele lucrari ale diavolului pentru a-i aduce pe calea si poarta cea larga, care se deschide spre ruina. 49:12 Satana si-a inmultit capcanele; si pretinsi crestini, superficiali in caracter si experienta religioasa, sunt folositi de ispititor ca momeala. Acestia sunt intotdeauna gata pentru reuniuni de placere sau pentru petreceri, iar influenta lor ii atrage si pe altii. Tineri si tinere care incearca sa fie crestini biblici, sunt convinsi sa participe la petrecere si sunt antrenati in ea. Ei nu consulta in rugaciune standardul divin, 49:13 pentru a afla ce a spus Hristos in legatura cu roada ce trebuie adusa de pomul crestin. Ei nu-si dau seama ca aceste distractii sunt adevarate banchete ale lui Satana, pregatite sa impiedice sufletele sa raspunda invitatiei la masa de la Nunta Mielului si sa primeasca haina cea alba de nunta, a caracterului, care este neprihanirea lui Hristos. Ei devin confuzi fata de ceea ce trebuie sa faca in calitate de crestini. Nedorind sa fie considerati aparte, ei inclina in mod natural sa urmeze exemplul celorlalti si astfel ajung sub influenta celor care niciodata n-au simtit in inima sau in minte atingerea divina... 49:14 Atitudinea corecta a crestinului 49:15 Dumnezeul cel vesnic a trasat linia de demarcatie intre sfinti si pacatosi, intre convertiti si neconvertiti. Aceste doua categorii nu se intrepatrund imperceptibil, asa cum o fac culorile curcubeului. Ele sunt la fel de distincte ca amiaza de miezul noptii. 49:16 Aceia care cauta neprihanirea lui Hristos vor zabovi asupra temelor maretei mantuiri. Biblia este izvorul de hrana pentru sufletele lor. Ei mediteaza la intruparea lui Hristos, contempla marea jertfa care a avut loc pentru a-i salva de la pieire, aducandu-le iertare, pace si neprihanire vesnica. Sufletul este sensibilizat de aceste teme inaltatoare. Sfintenia si adevarul, harul si neprihanirea sunt cele ce preocupa gandul lor. Atunci eul moare si Hristos traieste in servii Lui. Contempland Cuvantul, inimile lor ard asa cum ardea inima in cei doi ucenici, care mergeau spre Emaus 49:17 cu Isus alaturi, deschizandu-le Scripturile referitoare la El. 49:18 Cat de putini realizeaza ca, nevazut, Isus merge alaturi de ei! Cat de rusinati ar fi multi sa auda vocea Sa vorbindu-le si sa stie ca El asculta conversatia lor usoara! Si cate inimi ar arde de bucuria sfanta, numai daca ar sti ca Mantuitorul merge alaturi, ca sfanta atmosfera a prezentei Lui ii invaluie si ca El ii hraneste cu painea vietii! Cat de bucuros ar fi Mantuitorul sa-i auda pe urmasii Lui vorbind despre valoroasele Sale invataturi si sa stie ca ei au placere in lucrurile sfinte! 49:19 Atunci cand adevarul se afla in inima, nu mai este loc pentru critici sau pentru vanatoare de greseli. Ceea ce este in inima va curge de pe buze fara opreliste. Lucrurile pe care le-a pregatit Dumnezeu pentru aceia care-L iubesc vor fi tema conversatiei. Dragostea lui Hristos este in inima ca un izvor de apa, curgand vioi spre viata vesnica si trimitand unde vii, aducatoare de viata si voiosie, pretutindeni pe unde ajung. (Special Testimonies to the Battle Creek Church, 18 noiembrie 1896). 49:20 Crestinii au la dispozitie multe surse ale fericirii si pot spune precis care placeri sunt corecte si ingaduite. Ei se pot bucura de recreatii care nu ratacesc mintea sau injosesc sufletul, care nu dezamagesc, nu influenteaza spre distrugerea respectului de sine si nu bareaza calea spre utilitate. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
