86:1 Cap. 84 - Calauzirea gandirii tinerilor in privinta recreatiei 86:2 Standardele sunt coborate. Parintii fac loc inclinatiilor iubitoare de lume ale copiilor lor. Ei deschid usa pentru distractii pe care odata la interziceau din principiu. 1 86:3 Chiar printre parintii crestini s-a ingaduit prea mult placerea pentru distractii. Parintii au preluat regula de conduita a lumii si s-au conformat parerii generale, dupa care primii ani ai copiilor si tinerilor trebuie irositi in lenevie, distractii egoiste si ingaduinte nesabuite. In acest fel, s-a format gustul pentru placeri tari, iar copiii si tinerii si-au format mintile astfel ca acestea sa se delecteze in etalari de senzatie; iar datoriile serioase, de folos, ale vietii, sunt privite cu neplacere. Ei traiesc o viata care este mai mult dupa randuiala care exista in lumea animalelor. Gandurile lor nu sunt indreptate catre Dumnezeu sau realitatile vesnice, ci zboara precum fluturii in anotimpul lor. Ei nu se poarta ca niste fiinte sensibile, ale caror vieti sa se poata compara cu cea a lui Dumnezeu si care sa-I poata da socoteala pentru fiecare ceas al vietii lor. 2 86:4 Mamele sa inventeze si sa calauzeasca distractiile. In loc sa-si trimita copiii de langa ea, ca sa nu fie tulburata de zgomotul lor sau sa fie plictisita de multele lor dorinte, mama trebuie sa simta ca timpul ei nu poate fi folosit in nici un mod mai bine decat cautand sa le aline si sa le ocupe mintile lor neastamparate, active, cu ceva care sa-i amuze sau cu vreo ocupatie usoara, care sa le produca bucurie. Mama 86:5 va fi din plin rasplatita pentru eforturile pe care le face si pentru timpul petrecut pentru a inventa distractia pentru copiii ei. 86:6 Copiilor mici le place societatea. In general, ei nu se pot bucura fiind singuri; iar mama trebuie sa simta ca, in majoritatea cazurilor, locul in care trebuie sa stea copiii cand sunt in casa este camera in care se afla ea. Astfel, ea ii poate supraveghea si se poate pregati sa rezolve drept micile divergente, atunci cand ei vor acest lucru, si sa corecteze obiceiuri gresite sau manifestarea egoismului sau a pasiunii si poate indrepta mintea lor in directia cea buna. Ei vor invata sa se bucure de ceea ce ii este pe plac mamei si este foarte normal ca ei s-o consulte pe mama in lucruri mici, in care au ajuns in incurcatura. Iar mama nu trebuie sa raneasca inima copilului ei sensibil, tratand acel lucru cu indiferenta sau refuzand sa se lase deranjata de lucruri atat de neinsemnate. Ceea ce poate parea un lucru mic pentru mama este un lucru mare pentru ei. Si un cuvant de indrumare sau precautie, spus la timpul potrivit, se va dovedi adesea de mare valoare. 3 86:7 Nu-i lipsiti de placeri nevinovate. Din lipsa de timp sau dispozitia de a se gandi la aceasta, multe mame refuza copiilor lor unele placeri nevinovate, in timp ce degetele ocupate si ochii neobositi sunt preocupati doar cu lucrul care are in vedere impodobirea, lucru care, in cel mai bun caz, va servi doar pentru a incuraja vanitatea si extravaganta in mintile lor tinere. Pe masura ce copiii se apropie de varsta maturitatii, aceste lectii vor aduce roade mandriei si lipsei de valoare morala. Mama sufera datorita greselilor copiilor, insa nu isi da seama ca recolta pe care o culege este din samanta pe care ea insasi a semanat-o. 86:8 Unele mame nu sunt consecvente in felul in care isi trateaza copiii. Uneori, ele sunt prea indulgente, in dauna lor, 86:9 pentru ca dupa aceea sa le refuze o placere nevinovata, care le-ar face inima lor de copil foarte fericita. In acest fel, ele nu Il imita pe Hristos; El a iubit copiii; El le-a inteles sentimentele si a simtit impreuna cu ei in bucuriile si incercarile lor. 4 86:10 Cum si-a tinut in frau copiii sora White. Cand copiii va roaga sa-i lasati sa mearga impreuna cu cineva sau sa participe la o petrecere unde sa se distreze, sa le spuneti: "Nu va pot lasa sa mergeti, copii; stati jos aici langa mine si va voi spune de ce. Eu am de facut o lucrare pentru vesnicie si pentru Dumnezeu. Voi mi-ati fost incredintati in grija. Eu stau in locul lui Dumnezeu pentru voi, copiii mei, de aceea eu trebuie sa veghez asupra voastra ca una care intr-o zi trebuie sa dea socoteala lui Dumnezeu. Vreti voi ca numele mamei voastre sa fie scris in cartile din ceruri ca una care nu si-a facut datoria fata de copiii ei, ca una care i-a dat voie vrajmasului sa intre si sa ocupe locul pe care Dumnezeu trebuia sa-l ocupe? Copii, va voi spune ce este bine sa faceti si apoi, daca voi alegeti sa intoarceti spatele mamei si sa porniti pe cai nelegiuite, mama voastra va fi fara vina, dar voi va trebui sa suferiti pentru propriile voastre pacate." 86:11 Acesta este modul in care eu am procedat cu copiii mei, si inainte ca voi sa ajungeti sa terminati ce aveti de spus, ei vor incepe sa planga si sa spuna: "Nu vrei sa te rogi pentru noi?" Desigur, niciodata n-am refuzat sa ma rog pentru ei. Am ingenuncheat alaturi de ei si m-am rugat pentru ei. Apoi, plecam si Il imploram pe Dumnezeu in rugaciune pana ce se ivea soarele pe cer, toata noaptea, pentru ca fascinatia vrajmasului sa poata fi sfaramata si aveam biruinta. Desi ma costa o noapte de truda, ma simteam totusi rasplatita atunci cand copiii se agatau de gatul meu si imi spuneau: "O, mama, suntem asa de bucurosi ca nu ne-ai lasat sa mergem atunci cand am vrut. Acum ne dam seama ca ar fi fost rau." 86:12 Parinti, acesta este modul in care trebuie sa lucrati, ceea ce spuneti asa sa si simtiti. Acest lucru trebuie sa ajunga o preocupare pentru voi, daca va asteptati sa aveti copiii mantuiti in Imparatia lui Dumnezeu. 5 86:13 Probleme la varsta adolescentei - varsta greu de inteles. In starea prezenta a societatii nu este o sarcina usoara pentru parinti sa-si tina copiii in frau si sa-i invete potrivit cu regula Bibliei ceea ce este bine. Copiii devin adesea nerabdatori cand sunt tinuti in frau si vor sa plece si sa vina dupa bunul lor plac. In special de la zece la optsprezece ani, ei sunt inclinati sa creada ca nu e nici un rau daca merg la intruniri ale tinerilor din lume. Insa parintii crestini, cu experienta, pot vedea pericolul. Ei sunt obisnuiti cu temperamentele specifice ale copiilor lor si stiu ce influenta pot avea acele lucruri asupra mintilor lor; si, daca le doresc mantuirea, ii vor tine departe de astfel de distractii lumesti. 6 86:14 Este nevoie de vigilenta in special dupa convertire. Cand copiii decid pentru ei insisi sa paraseasca placerile lumii si sa devina ucenici ai lui Hristos, ce povara se ridica de pe inima parintilor grijulii, credinciosi! Totusi, chiar in acele momente, eforturile parintilor nu trebuie sa inceteze. Acesti tineri tocmai au inceput o lupta serioasa impotriva pacatului si impotriva relelor care sunt in inima fireasca si ei au nevoie intr-un sens special de sfatul si supravegherea atenta a parintilor lor. 7 86:15 Secretul prin care copiii sunt paziti de atractiile lumesti. Cat de multi parinti se plang ca nu-si pot tine copiii acasa, ca acestia nu-si iubesc caminul! La o varsta frageda, au dorinta de a fi in compania strainilor; si, de indata ce cresc 86:16 destul, ei dau la o parte ceea ce li se pare o restrictie fara rost si nu tin seama nici de rugaciunile mamei, nici de sfaturile tatalui. Cercetarile arata ca, in general, pacatul este al parintilor. Ei nu au facut din camin ceea ce ar fi trebuit sa fie - un loc atractiv, placut, stralucitor prin cuvinte amabile, priviri placute si dragoste adevarata. 86:17 Secretul pentru salvarea copiilor vostri consta in a face din caminul vostru un loc placut si atragator. Indulgenta parintilor nu ii va lega pe copiii mici de Dumnezeu, nici de camin; insa o influenta hotarata, evlavioasa in privinta instruirii si educarii corespunzatoare a mintii, ii va salva pe multi copii de la ruina. 8 86:18 Este datoria parintilor de a veghea asupra plecarii si venirii copiilor lor. Ei ii vor incuraja si le vor da motive prin care sa fie atrasi de camin si ii vor face sa vada ca parintii lor se intereseaza de ei. Ei vor face din camin un loc placut si vesel. 9 86:19 1. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
