66:1 Cap. 64 - Integritate in afaceri 66:2 Biblia - o carte, sursa de principii in afaceri. Nu exista domeniu de afaceri cinstite, in care Biblia sa nu poata oferi o pregatire temeinica. Principiile pe care ea le cuprinde, privind harnicia, cinstea, economia, cumpatarea si curatia, constituie secretul pentru adevaratul succes. Aceste principii, asa cum sunt prezentate in cartea Proverbelor, constituie o comoara de intelepciune practica. Unde oare ai putea gasi pentru mesterul, artizanul sau directorul oricarui departament de afaceri, maxime mai bune atat pentru el insusi, cat si pentru angajatii sai, decat cele care se gasesc in aceste cuvinte ale intelepciunii: "Daca vezi un om iscusit in lucrul lui, acela poate sta langa imparati, nu langa oamenii de rand." 66:3 "In orice munca exista castig; dar acolo unde numai se vorbeste exista lipsa." 66:4 "Sufletul lenesului doreste, dar nu are nimic." 66:5 "Betivul si mancaul vor ajunge la saracie; lancezeala in somn va imbraca pe om in zdrente..." 66:6 Cat de multi oameni ar fi putut scapa de esec financiar si ruina, daca ar fi luat seama la avertizarile atat de des repetate si accentuate in Scriptura: 66:7 "Cel care se grabeste sa se imbogateasca nu va fi gasit nevinovat." 66:8 "Bogatia castigata in graba se va imputina; insa cel care o dobandeste prin munca va avea spor." 66:9 "Comorile castigate cu o limba mincinoasa sunt o desertaciune care fuge, si ele duc la moarte." 66:10 "Cel care ia cu imprumut este robul celui care da cu imprumut." 66:11 "Cine se pune chezas pentru altul ii merge rau, dar cine se teme sa se puna chezas este linistit." 1 66:12 Porunca a opta condamna furtul si jaful. Ea pretinde cea mai stricta integritate in cele mai mici detalii ale afacerilor vietii. Ea interzice supra imbogatirea prin negot si pretinde plata dreapta a datoriilor si salariilor. 2 66:13 Mintea si caracterul se degradeaza prin necinste. Cel care foloseste inselaciunea isi pierde respectul pentru sine. Poate ca el nu este constient ca Dumnezeu vede si are cunostinta de orice tragedie pe care o face in afacerile sale, ca ingerii cei sfinti ii cantaresc motivele, asculta cuvintele pe care le rosteste si ca rasplata lui va fi dupa faptele sale; insa chiar daca ar fi posibil sa-si ascunda faptele rele de oameni si de Dumnezeu, faptul ca el insusi le stie are un efect degradant asupra mintii si caracterului sau. O singura fapta nu ne formeaza caracterul, insa ea indeparteaza o bariera, iar urmatoarea ispita este mai usor preluata pana cand se formeaza obiceiul de tergiversare, minciuna si necinste in afaceri, iar in omul respectiv nu mai poti avea incredere. 3 66:14 Asa cum tratam cu oamenii prin necinste meschina, mergand pana la frauda, asa vom proceda si cu Dumnezeu. Oamenii care persista pe calea necinstei isi pun propriile lor principii in aplicare, pana cand ajung sa-si insele propriile suflete si sa piarda cerul si viata vesnica. Ei vor sacrifica onoarea si religia pentru un mic avantaj lumesc. 4 66:15 Evitati datoriile. Multe familii sarace sunt sarace pentru ca cheltuiesc banii de indata ce ii primesc. 5 66:16 Trebuie sa fiti constienti ca afacerile nu se administreaza prin a se expune la datorii... Cand cineva isi face datorii, el intra intr-una din plasele lui Satana, prin care le prinde sufletele... 66:17 Sustragerea si folosirea banilor pentru orice scop, inainte de a-i castiga, constituie o capcana. 6 66:18 Sfaturi pentru cel care traieste dincolo de limita venitului sau. Nu trebuie sa-ti permiti sa ajungi sa stai prost financiar, deoarece faptul ca esti indatorat iti slabeste credinta si tinde sa te descurajeze; doar gandul ca ai datorii te face sa-ti pierzi mintile. Trebuie sa te lipsesti de anumite cheltuieli si sa te lupti sa inlaturi aceasta insusire deficitara din caracterul tau. Tu poti si trebuie sa faci eforturi hotarate pentru a-ti stapani tentatia de a cheltui mijloace peste limita venitului tau. 7 66:19 Cauza lui Dumnezeu poate fi facuta de rusine. Lumea are dreptul sa se astepte la o integritate din partea acelora care pretind a fi crestini conform Bibliei. Prin nepasarea unui singur om in a-si plati datoriile pe care le are, tot poporul nostru poate ajunge in primejdia de a nu inspira incredere. 8 66:20 Aceia care au pretentia ca sunt evlaviosi ar trebui sa-si impodobeasca viata cu doctrina pe care sustin ca au adoptat-o si sa nu dea ocazia ca adevarul sa fie ocarat datorita faptelor lor necugetate. "Nu datorati nimanui nimic", spune apostolul. 9 66:21 Sfat catre cineva care are datorii. Fii hotarat sa nu mai faci nici o datorie. Mai bine lipseste-te de o mie de lucruri decat sa te injugi la datorie. Acesta a fost un blestem pentru viata ta, sa-ti tot faci datorii. Evita-le ca pe niste bube rele. 66:22 Fa un legamant cu Dumnezeu ca, prin binecuvantarea Sa, sa iti platesti datoriile si atunci sa nu datorezi nimanui nimic, chiar daca ar trebui sa traiesti doar cu terci si paine. E atat de usor cand iti pregatesti de mancare sa mai arunci din buzunar inca douazeci si cinci de centi pentru ceva pe deasupra. Ai grija de maruntis caci banii vor avea ei insisi grija de ei. Cate un pic cheltuit pe una, pe alta si sumele cheltuite se transforma in bani. Tineti dorintele egoiste in frau cel putin atat cat esti imprejmuit de datorii... Nu te poticni, nu te descuraja si nu da inapoi. Abtine-te de a-ti face gusturile, 66:23 nu-ti ingadui pofta, strange banutii si plateste-ti datoriile. Rezolva cu acestea cat de repede posibil. Cand vei putea sta din nou pe picioarele tale ca un om liber, fara a mai datora cuiva ceva, vei dobandi o mare biruinta. 10 66:24 Dovediti intelegere fata de datornicii nenorociti. Daca cineva are datorii si este cu adevarat neinstare sa-si acopere obligatiile, nu trebuie facute presiuni asupra lui pentru a face ceva ce este peste puterile lui. Trebuie sa i se ofere sansa de a se descarca de datorii si sa nu fie pus in situatia in care efectiv nu-si poate plati datoriile. Chiar daca se considera ca se procedeaza dupa dreptate, nu se dovedeste indurare si iubirea lui Dumnezeu. 11 66:25 Pericolul pozitiilor extreme. Unii oameni nu sunt precauti si isi fac datorii care ar putea fi evitate. Unii dovedesc prea multa precautie, care seamana a necredinta. Folosindu-ne de unele avantaje in anumite imprejurari, noi putem investi uneori mijloace in asa fel incat sa avem foloase pentru lucrarea lui Dumnezeu, pentru intarirea si inaintarea acesteia, si totusi in acelasi timp sa ramanem neclintiti de la principiile cele drepte. 12 66:26 1. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
