39:1 Cap. 37 - Cum nu trebuie sa fie tatal 39:2 Sotul care asteapta ca sotia sa duca poveri duble. In majoritatea familiilor, exista copii de varste diferite, dintre care unii au nevoie nu doar de atentia si disciplina inteleapta a mamei, ci si de grija mai hotarata si totusi plina de sensibilitate a tatalui. Putini tati iau in seama acest lucru asa cum ar trebui. Ei isi neglijeaza propria lor datorie si astfel adauga poveri dureroase asupra mamei, in acelasi timp simtindu-se liberi sa-i critice sau sa-i condamne actiunile potrivit cu judecata lor. Sub aceasta grea responsabilitate, si criticata fiind, biata sotie si mama se simte uneori vinovata si are remuscari pentru ceea ce a facut in mod nevinovat si din nestiinta, si acest lucru se intampla frecvent atunci cand a facut tot ce a putut, in acele imprejurari. Totusi, cand eforturile ei istovitoare ar fi trebuit apreciate si aprobate, iar inima ar fi trebuit sa simta multumire, ea este nevoita sa mearga sub un nor intunecat de tristete si condamnare, deoarece sotul ei, in timp ce isi ignora propria lui datorie, asteapta ca ea sa faca si partea ei, si partea lui, spre satisfacerea lui, indiferent de imprejurari. 1 39:3 Multi soti nu inteleg si nu apreciaza in suficienta masura grijile si situatiile dificile prin care trec sotiile lor, condamnate a se invarti neincetat toata ziua printre datoriile gospodaresti. Daca mesele nu sunt gata la timp, sotia obosita - care este de regula cea care face curatenie in casa, sora medicala, bucatareasa si servitoare - si toate acestea intr-o singura persoana - este intampinata cu reprosuri. Sotul cel exigent 39:4 sa catadicseasca sa ia copilul nelinistit din bratele istovite ale mamei si ea va putea in graba sa termine pregatirile pentru masa; daca copilul este nelinistit si se agita in bratele tatalui sau, acesta rareori va simti ca este datoria lui sa faca pe sora medicala si sa-l impace. In loc sa ia seama cate ore din zi a indurat mama agitatia micutului, el striga cu nerabdare: "Vino aici, mama, si ia-ti copilului." Nu este si copilul lui, dupa cum este al ei? Nu este aceasta obligatia lui naturala de a-si face cu rabdare partea in povara cresterii copiilor? 2 39:5 Sfaturi pentru un sot dictator si dominator. Viata ta ar fi mult mai fericita daca nu ai crede ca ai autoritate absoluta, deoarece esti sot si tata. Viata ta practica dovedeste ca interpretezi gresit pozitia ta - aceea de a fi o legatura care sa-i uneasca pe cei din camin. Esti nervos si dictator si adeseori dai dovada de mari lipsuri in judecata ta, si oricat ai dori sa-ti indreptatesti purtarea, uneori aceasta nu poate aparea consecventa in ochii sotiei si ai copiilor tai. Cand ai luat o pozitie, oricare ar fi ea, rareori esti doritor sa o retragi. Esti hotarat sa-ti aduci la indeplinire in mod hotarat planurile tale, cand de multe ori nu urmezi cursul care ar trebui, si ar trebui sa vezi acest lucru. Ceea ce iti lipseste este mai multa, cu mult mai multa dragoste si stapanire de sine si mai putin din acea hotarare de a avea propria ta cale, atat in cuvant, cat si in fapta. Acest lucru este adevarat chiar cand ideile tale sunt bune, insa in multe privinte ele nu sunt corecte; ele sunt exagerate, ca urmare 39:7 a felului defectuos in care le organizezi, de aceea faci un lucru rau, intr-un mod constrangator, nerezonabil. 3 39:8 Ai propriile tale vederi cu privire la administrarea familiei. Exerciti o putere independenta, arbitrara, care nu ingaduie libertate de vointa celor din jurul tau. Te consideri suficient de capabil pentru a fi capul familiei si simti ca aceasta functie este indestulatoare pentru a-l pune in miscare pe fiecare membru, asa dupa cum o masina este pusa in miscare de mainile mecanicului. Tu dictezi si iti asumi autoritate. Acest lucru nu place insa Cerului si-i intristeaza pe ingerii plini de mila. Ti-ai condus familia ca si cand tu insuti esti in stare sa te autoconduci. Te-ai simtit ofensat cand sotia ta a indraznit sa aiba o parere diferita de a ta sau sa puna sub semnul intrebarii deciziile tale. 4 39:9 Soti cicalitori si plangareti, nelinistiti. Sotilor, oferiti sotiilor voastre o sansa pentru viata lor spirituala... In cazul multora, atitudinea de a cicali este incurajata, pana cand acestia devin ca niste copii mari. Ei nu lasa in urma lor aceasta parte a copilariei. Aceste sentimente le fac placere pana le paralizeaza si micsoreaza toate capacitatile necesare in viata, datorita acestor plangeri si vaicareli. Insa nu e paralizata doar viata lor, ci si a altora. Ei aduc cu ei spiritul lui Ismael, a carui mana era impotriva tuturor si mana tuturor impotriva lui. 5 39:10 Sotul egoist si morocanos. Fratele B. nu are un temperament care sa aduca seninatate in casa lui. Din acest loc, trebuie sa inceapa el sa lucreze. El este mai degraba ca un nor, si nu ca o raza de lumina. E prea egoist ca sa rosteasca cuvinte de apreciere la adresa membrilor familiei sale, in special la adresa sotiei pentru care ar trebui sa aiba dragoste si respect, si sa fie plin de tandrete; este morocanos, tiran si dictator; cuvintele lui sunt de regula taioase si lasa o rana 39:11 pe care nu incearca sa o vindece, imblanzindu-si spiritul, recunoscand-si greselile si marturisindu-le... 39:12 Fratele B. ar trebui sa devina bland, sa cultive rafinamentul si curtoazia. El ar trebui sa fie foarte tandru si bland fata de sotia sa, care este egala sa in orice privinta; el nu trebuie sa rosteasca nici un cuvant care ar arunca vreo umbra asupra inimii sale. El trebuie sa inceapa lucrarea de reforma in camin; ar trebui sa cultive iubirea si sa biruiasca trasaturile aspre, grosolane, lipsite de bun simt si generozitate ale caracterului sau. 6 39:13 Sotul si tatal care este morocanos, egoist si tiran nu numai ca este nefericit el insusi, insa arunca tristete si intunecime asupra tuturor celorlalti din casa. El isi va culege roadele cand isi va vedea sotia lipsita de vlaga si bolnavicioasa, iar pe copiii sai afectati de propriul sau temperament rau. 7 39:14 Un sot egoist si intolerant. Astepti prea mult de la sotia si copiii tai. Critici prea mult. Daca felul tau de a fi ar fi mai vesel, mai fericit, si le-ai vorbi mai frumos, mai duios, ai aduce seninatate in casa ta, in loc de nori, necaz si nefericire. Tii prea mult la parerea ta; atitudinile tale sunt extreme si nu au avut bunavointa, pentru ca si parerea sotiei tale sa aiba greutatea care ar fi trebuit, in familie. Tu insuti nu te-ai straduit sa-i respecti parerile, judecata, si ai incurajat acest lucru si in copii. Nu ai considerat-o egala cu tine, ci ai preluat fraiele stapanirii in mainile tale si i-ai prins pe toti intr-o puternica stransoare. Caracterul tau nu este afectuos, iubitor. Tu trebuie sa cultivi aceste trasaturi de caracter, daca doresti sa fii un biruitor si sa ai binecuvantarea lui Dumnezeu in familia ta. 8 39:15 Celui care desconsidera curtoazia crestina. Ai socotit ca fiind o dovada de slabiciune sa fii bun, duios si intelegator si ai gandit ca este mai prejos de demnitatea ta sa vorbesti duios, bland si iubitor cu sotia ta. Ai o conceptie gresita cu privire la adevarata barbatie si demnitate. Faptele lipsite de bunatate sunt o dovada vadita de slabiciune a caracterului tau. Ceea ce tu socotesti slabiciune Dumnezeu socoteste a fi adevarata curtoazie crestina, care trebuie pusa in practica de orice crestin; acesta este spiritul pe care l-a dat pe fata Domnul Hristos. 9 39:16 Sotii trebuie sa merite iubire si afectiune. Daca sotul este tiran, exigent si critica actiunile sotiei sale, el nu-i poate castiga respectul si afectiunea, iar relatia de casatorie va fi odioasa pentru ea. Ea nu isi va iubi sotul, deoarece el nu incearca sa se faca vrednic de iubit. Sotii trebuie sa fie atenti, grijulii, consecventi, credinciosi si milosi. Ei trebuie sa dea dovada de iubire si intelegere... Cand sotul detine noblete de caracter, curatie a inimii, o minte inteleapta, insusiri pe care crestinul adevarat trebuie sa le posede, acestea vor fi vizibile in relatia de casatorie... El va cauta ca sotia sa fie sanatoasa si sa o incurajeze. El va lupta sa rosteasca cuvinte de apreciere, sa creeze o atmosfera de pace in cercul familiei. 10 39:17 1. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
