17:1 Cap. 15 - Fagaduinte solemne 17:2 Scopul lui Dumnezeu pentru barbat si femeie. Dumnezeu a facut din barbat o femeie, care sa-i fie tovaras si ajutor, care sa fie una cu el, sa-l inveseleasca, sa-l incurajeze, sa-i fie o binecuvantare, iar el, la randul lui, sa-i fie un ajutor puternic. Toti aceia care pasesc in relatie de casatorie, avand un scop sfant - sotul de a dobandi sentimentele curate ale unei inimi de femeie, femeia de a inmuia si imbunatati caracterul sotului ei si de a-l desavarsi - indeplinesc scopul lui Dumnezeu pentru ei. 17:3 Domnul Hristos nu a venit sa distruga aceasta institutie, ci s-o readuca la sfintenia si nobletea sa originala. El a venit sa restaureze chipul moral al lui Dumnezeu in om, si aceasta lucrare a inceput-o punandu-Si aprobarea asupra casatoriei. 1 17:4 El, care a dat-o pe Eva lui Adam ca ajutor, a infaptuit prima Sa minune la un ospat de nunta. In sala de ospat, acolo unde prietenii si rudele se bucurau impreuna, a fost locul unde Si-a inceput Domnul Hristos lucrarea publica. In acest fel, El a aprobat casatoria, recunoscand-o ca pe o institutie pe care El Insusi o intemeiase. El poruncise ca barbatii si femeile sa se uneasca prin sfanta legatura a casatoriei, sa intemeieze familii ai caror membri, incoronati cu onoare, aveau sa fie recunoscuti ca membri ai familiei de sus. 2 17:5 Domnul Isus doreste casatorii fericite. Iubirea divina, ce emana de la Hristos, nu distruge niciodata iubirea omeneasca, ci o include. Prin aceasta, dragostea omeneasca este rafinata si curatita, inaltata si innobilata. Iubirea omeneasca nu poate aduce niciodata fructe pretioase, daca nu este unita cu natura divina si daca nu este cultivata pentru ceruri. Domnul Isus doreste sa vada casatorii fericite, vieti tihnite. 3 17:6 Ca oricare dintre darurile lui Dumnezeu pentru omenire, casatoria a fost pervertita de pacat; harul Domnului Hristos, si numai acesta, poate face din aceasta institutie ceea ce Dumnezeu a desemnat ca ea sa fie - un agent spre binecuvantarea si inaltarea omenirii. Si astfel, familiile de pe pamant, in unitate, pace si iubire, pot reprezenta familia din ceruri. 17:7 Starea societatii prezinta o realitate trista, daca ne gandim la idealul cerului cu privire la aceasta relatie sacra. Totusi, chiar si pentru aceia care n-au gasit decat amaraciune si dezamagire acolo unde sperasera sa gaseasca partasie si bucurie, Evanghelia Domnului Hristos ofera o mangaiere. 4 17:8 O ocazie de bucurie. Scripturile arata ca, atat Domnul Isus, cat si ucenicii Lui au fost chemati la acest ospat de nunta (in Cana). Domnul Isus nu le-a interzis crestinilor sa participe la nunti, care sunt ocazii de bucurie. Participand la aceasta sarbatoare, Domnul Hristos ne-a invatat ca El doreste ca noi sa ne bucuram cu cei ce se bucura, pazind randuielile pe care El le-a lasat. El nu a oprit niciodata sarbatorile nevinovate ale oamenilor, atunci cand acestea s-au desfasurat in armonie cu legile cerului. La o adunare onorata de prezenta Domnului Hristos, este drept ca urmasii Sai sa participe. Dupa ce a participat la aceasta sarbatoare, Domnul Hristos a mai participat la multe altele, aprobandu-le astfel pe acestea, prin prezenta si invatatura Sa. 5 17:9 Etalarea, extravaganta si ilaritatea sunt nepotrivite la nunti. Nuntile au ajuns ocazii de etalare, extravaganta si rasfat. Insa, daca cele doua parti sunt de acord in ce priveste credinta si practica religioasa si daca se manifesta consecventa, iar 17:10 ceremonia se desfasoara fara etalare si extravaganta, casatoria nu are motive sa nu-I fie pe plac lui Dumnezeu. 6 17:11 Nu exista nici un motiv sa facem parada sau etalare, chiar daca cei doi se potrivesc perfect. 7 17:12 Mi s-a parut intotdeauna atat de nepotrivita asocierea nuntii cu ilaritatea, veselia peste masura si pretentia ca suntem cineva. Nu, ci aceasta este o randuiala lasata de Dumnezeu, care trebuie privita cu cea mai mare solemnitate. Relatia de familie care se formeaza aici, pe pamant, trebuie sa fie o demonstrare a ceea ce va trebui sa fie ca familie a cerului. Slava lui Dumnezeu trebuie pusa intotdeauna pe primul plan. 8 17:13 O nunta in casa Elenei White. Marti, sufrageria noastra, o camera mare, a fost pregatita pentru ceremonia nuntii. Fratele B. a tinut serviciul divin, care s-a desfasurat frumos. S-a adresat rugamintea ca... sora White sa rosteasca rugaciunea de dupa serviciul divin. Domnul m-a facut sa ma simt cu totul libera. Inima mi-a fost induiosata si supusa de Duhul lui Dumnezeu. Cu aceasta ocazie, nu s-au rostit glume sau cuvinte usuratice; totul a fost solemn si sfant la aceasta nunta. Totul a fost de un caracter inaltator si foarte impresionant. Domnul a sfintit aceasta casatorie, iar cei doi si-au unit acum interesele in lucrare, in campul misionar, pentru a cauta si salva pe cei pierduti. Dumnezeu ii va binecuvanta in lucrarea lor, daca vor umbla in umilinta cu El, sprijinindu-se pe fagaduintele Sale. 9 17:14 Unirea a doua vieti. [Observatii ale sorei E. G. White cu ocazia unei sarbatori de nunta la Sanitarium, California, in 1905.] Aceasta este o perioada importanta din viata acelora care au stat in fata ta, 17:15 pentru a-si pune laolalta interesele, simpatiile, dragostea, munca unul cu celalalt in lucrarea de salvare a sufletelor. In legatura de casatorie, se face un pas foarte important - unirea, imbinarea a doua vieti intr-una singura... Este in acord cu voia lui Dumnezeu ca barbatul si femeia sa fie uniti in aceasta lucrare, pe care sa o aduca la indeplinire cu integritate si sfintenie. Ei pot face acest lucru. 17:16 Binecuvantarea lui Dumnezeu va fi in casa unde va exista aceasta unire asemenea razei soarelui ceresc, pentru ca este vointa hotarata a lui Dumnezeu ca sotul si sotia sa fie uniti prin legaturi sfinte, in Isus Hristos, care are stapanirea, iar Duhul Sau cel Sfant - calauzirea. 17:17 Dumnezeu doreste ca familia sa fie locul cel mai fericit de pe pamant, insusi simbolul caminului din ceruri. Purtand responsabilitatile casatoriei in camin, legandu-si interesele cu Domnul Isus Hristos, bizuindu-se pe bratul si asigurarea Sa, sotul si sotia impartasesc in aceasta unire o fericire pe care ingerii lui Dumnezeu o omagiaza. 17:18 Casatoria nu diminueaza utilitatea lor, ci o sporeste. Ei pot face din aceasta viata de casatorie o lucrare de castigare a sufletelor la Hristos; si eu stiu despre ce vorbesc, pentru ca, timp de treizeci si sase de ani, sotul meu si cu mine am fost uniti si ne-am dus pretutindeni unde Domnul ne-a spus sa mergem. In aceasta privinta, stim ca posedam trimiterea divina in relatia casatoriei. De aceea, aceasta este o porunca solemna... 17:19 Si acum, pot sa iau de mana pe acest frate al nostru; si te luam de mana si pe tine, sotia sa, si va indemnam sa duceti mai departe, uniti, aceasta lucrare a lui Dumnezeu. Vreau sa va spun aceasta: Faceti din Dumnezeu sfatuitorul vostru. Fiti uniti, fiti uniti! 10 17:20 Sfaturi pentru o pereche proaspat casatorita. Dragul meu frate, draga mea sora: V-ati unit printr-un legamant 17:21 pe viata. Educatia voastra in ce priveste viata de casatorie a inceput. Primul an din viata de casatorie este un an de experienta, un an in care sotul si sotia vor cunoaste, fiecare in parte, trasaturile de caracter ale celuilalt, dupa cum si copilul isi invata lectiile la scoala pentru a le sti. De aceea, faceti ca in primul an din viata voastra impreuna sa nu existe capitole care sa dauneze fericirii voastre viitoare. 17:22 Fratele meu, timpul, taria si fericirea sotiei tale sunt acum legate cu ale tale. Influenta ta asupra ei poate fi o mireasma de viata spre viata sau de moarte spre moarte. Fii foarte atent sa nu-i distrugi viata. 17:23 Sora mea, tu trebuie sa inveti acum primele lectii practice cu privire la responsabilitatile vietii de casatorie. Asigura-te ca inveti aceste lectii cu credinciosie, zi de zi... Pazeste-te necontenit sa nu-i faci loc egoismului. 17:24 In unirea voastra, care este pe viata, sentimentele voastre trebuie sa contribuie la fericirea celuilalt. Fiecare trebuie sa slujeasca in vederea fericirii celuilalt. Aceasta este voia lui Dumnezeu pentru tine. Totusi, desi sunteti uniti, ca si cand ati fi o singura persoana, nici unul dintre voi nu trebuie sa-si piarda individualitatea in celalalt. Dumnezeu este stapanul individualitatii voastre. Pe El trebuie sa-L intrebati: Ce este bine? Ce este rau? Cum mi-as aduce cel mai bine contributia (cum mi-as indeplini cel mai bine rolul)? 11 17:25 Angajament in fata martorilor ceresti. Dumnezeu a dorit sa existe iubire si armonie desavarsita intre cei care se casatoresc. Fie ca mirele si mireasa sa se angajeze in fata universului ceresc, sa se iubeasca asa cum a randuit Dumnezeu... Sotia sa-si respecte sotul, iar sotul sa-si iubeasca sotia. 12 17:26 La inceputul vietii in doi, barbatii si femeile ar trebui sa se consacre din nou lui Dumnezeu. 13 17:27 Fiti fermi, ca otelul, fata de legamantul casatoriei, refuzand ca, prin gand, cuvant sau fapta, sa va alterati raportul care vi se face, de om care se teme de Dumnezeu si asculta de poruncile Sale. 14 17:28 1. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
