9:1 Iata prorocia, Cuvantul Domnului despre tara Hadrac; si va incepe din Damasc. Caci Domnul are ochiul indreptat asupra oamenilor si peste toate semintiile lui Israel. Proorocia. Ebr. maśśa’, ,,o rostire profetica” (vezi comentariul la Isaia 13,1). Hadrac. Probabil Hattarikka din inscriptiile asiriene, un teritoriu al Siriei invecinandu-se cu Hamatul. Va incepe din Damasc. Literal ,,Damascul va fi odihna”. Adica, Damascul va fi locul de odihna pentru ,,proorocie”; adica solia era acuzatoare pentru cetatea acea. Are ochiul. Sau ,,Cand ochii”. Sensul acestei expresii nu este clar. LXX zice: ,,Caci Domnul priveste asupra oamenilor si asupra tuturor semintiilor lui Israel.” Traducerea: ,,Caci ale Domnului sunt toate cetatile Aramului.” (RSV), necesita schimbarea a doua litere asemanatoare in textul ebraic. 9:2 El se opreste si peste Hamat, care se margineste cu Damascul, peste Tir si Sidon, cu toata intelepciunea lor! Hamat. O cetate asezata cam la 189 km. la sud de Damasc. Tir si Sidon. Pentru o descriere a Tirului si pentru pedepsele gata sa fie date Tirului si Sidonului, asa cum sunt aratate in v. 3 si 4, vezi comentariul la Ezechiel 26-28. Descrierea lui Zaharia este indeaproape paralela cu tabloul mai amanuntit al lui Ezechiel. 9:3 Tirul si-a zidit o intaritura; a ingramadit argint ca pulberea, si aur ca noroiul de pe ulite. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 9:4 Iata ca Domnul va pune mana pe el, ii va napusti puterea in mare, si el insusi va fi ars cu foc. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 9:5 Ascalonul va vedea lucrul acesta, si se va teme; Gaza de asemenea, si o va apuca un puternic cutremur; Ecronul de asemenea, caci nadejdea lui va fi data de rusine; va pieri imparatul din Gaza, si Ascalonul nu va mai fi locuit. Ascalonul. Prabusirea cetatii celei mari Tir va aduce groaza si teama asupra vecinilor Tirului, cetatile principale ale Filistiei amintite aici. Compara profetia lui Ezechiel impotriva filistenilor (Ezechiel 25,15-17). 9:6 Strainul se va aseza in Asdod, si voi frange mandria Filistenilor. Strainul. Sau ,,Un bastard”. Cineva nascut in afara legaturilor de casatorie, sau un strain prin nastere (vezi comentariul la Deuteronom 23,2). 9:7 Ii voi scoate sangele din gura, si uraciunile idolesti dintre dinti, ca sa fie si el o ramasita pentru Dumnezeul nostru, si sa fie ca o capetenie din Iuda, si Ecronul ca Iebusitii. Sangele. Fara indoiala o referire la practica pagana de a bea sangele jertfelor, sau de a manca jertfele cu sange. Israelitilor le era strict interzis sa consume sange (Levitic 17,10.12). Uraciunile. Vezi Isaia 66,3.17. Pentru Dumnezeul nostru. Ramasita va parasi practicile idolatre si se va alipi de Israel. Capetenie. Ebr. ’alluph. O schimbare vocalica permite traducerea ,,mie”, ,,familie”, sau ,,semintie” (vezi Numeri 1,16; 10,4; 1Samuel 10,19). Aceia care s-au alipit de Domnul vor deveni ca una din familiile sau semintiile lui Iuda. Iebusitii. Iebusitii fusesera vechii locuitori ai cetatii Sionului. Neamul acesta nu a fost nimicit, ci a fost aservit (1Regi 9,20.21). Nu este cu totul clar ce intelegea profetul prin comparatia aceasta. Poate ca prezicea absorbtia Filistenilor in statul lui Israel. 9:8 Voi tabari in jurul Casei Mele, ca s-o apar impotriva unei ostiri, impotriva celor ce se duc si vin, si nu va mai trece asupritorul peste ei, caci acum Ma uit cu ochii Mei. Voi tabari. Dumnezeu urma sa-l apere pe Israel de dusmanii sai. Celor ce se duc si vin. O referire la raidurile unui dusman sau la atacurile ostile asupra diferitelor locuri. Acum Ma uit. Dumnezeu priveste acum la starea lui Israel si are de gand sa-i dea ajutor (vezi Exod 3,7.9). 9:9 Salta de veselie, fiica Sionului! Striga de bucurie, fiica Ierusalimului! Iata ca Imparatul tau vine la tine; El este neprihanit si biruitor, smerit si calare pe un magar, pe un manz, pe manzul unei magarite. Salta de veselie. Sionul este chemat sa se bucure din cauza ca fagaduita lui izbavire va fi indeplinita prin venirea Imparatului sau, Mesia. Neprihanit. Ebr. saddiq, un cuvant care apare de peste 200 de ori in Vechiul Testament. Este de obicei tradus prin ,,neprihanit” sau ,,drept”. Termenul acesta mai este folosit si in alte locuri cu referire la Mesia. Ieremia declara: ,,Voi ridica lui David o Odrasla neprihanita”, care va fi numita ,,Domnul, Neprihanirea Noastra [ebr. sedeq, de la radacina saddiq]” (Ieremia 23,5.6). Unii vad in saddiq si sensul de ,,triumfator” (vezi RSV). Ideea aceea deriva din faptul ca acela care primeste ceea ce este dreptul sau este prin acesta biruitor. Cu toate ca o astfel de definitie este in armonie cu contextul, este indoielnic ca sensul ar trebui sa fie astfel restrans. Neprihanirea morala este un prim atribut al lui Mesia. In natura Sa omeneasca, Hristos a realizat un caracter desavarsit si pe acesta El Se ofera sa-l ofere tuturor acelora care-L primesc prin credinta. ,,Toate faptele noastre bune (sau ,,de neprihanire”) sunt ca o haina manjita” Isaia 64,6. Dar Isus a fost facut pentru noi ,,intelepciune, neprihanire, sfintire si rascumparare” (1Corinteni 1,30). Biruitor. Sau ,,Avand mantuire”. De la ebr. yasha?, ,,a mantui”. Yasha este si radacina numelui ,,Isus” (vezi comentariul la Matei 1.1,21). Smerit. Cu privire la acest atribut al lui Mesia, vezi Matei 11,29; Filipeni 2,5-8. Pe un magar. Pentru implinirea acestei preziceri, vezi comentariul la Matei 21,1-11. 9:10 Voi nimici carele de razboi din Efraim, si caii din Ierusalim, si arcurile de razboi vor fi nimicite. El va vesti neamurilor pacea, si va stapani de la o mare la cealalta, si de la rau pana la marginile pamantului. Voi nimici. O prevedere a desfiintarii finale a razboiului. Efraim si Ierusalimul reprezinta cele zece semintii ale regatului de nord al lui Israel si respectiv cele doua semintii care formeaza regatul de sud al lui iuda, cele doua cuprinzand intreaga natiune iudaica. Neamurile. Orice impotrivire dusmana fata de poporul Israel va fi doborata cu timpul (Ioel 3,1-17; Zaharia 14,1-9; vezi p. 30). Marginile pamantului. O indicatie a dezvoltarii universale a imparatiei lui Mesia (vezi p. 30). 9:11 Insa, cat pentru tine, Sioane, din pricina legamantului tau pecetluit cu sange, voi scoate pe prinsii tai de razboi din groapa in care nu este apa. Cat pentru tine. Dumnezeu Se adreseaza poporului cu care a facut legamant. Legamantului. Probabil in aspectele lui mai cuprinzatoare o referire la legamantul facut cu omul in Eden (Geneza 3,15) si reinnoit fata de Avraam (Geneza 22,18). Legamantul acesta a ajuns sa fie numit legamantul cel nou (Evrei 8,8-12; PP 370, 371). Voi scoate. Sau ,,Am scos”. O referire la israelitii inca robi in tinuturi straine. 9:12 Intoarceti-va la cetatuie, prinsi de razboi plini de nadejde! O spun si astazi, ca iti voi intoarce indoit! Intoarceti-va. Apelul divin la prizonierii raspanditi prin strainatate sa accepte eliberarea. Cetatuia este Sionul, aparat de Dumnezeu si o prefigurare a mantuirii Lui (vezi Mica 4,8). Prinsi de razboi plini de nadejde. Sau ,,Prizonieri ai nadejdii”. Exilatii repatriati se considerau prizonieri ai imprejurarilor, dar Dumnezeu ii asigura ca exista speranta de eliberare – daca sunt sarguinciosi in a asculta de glasul Sau (cap. 6,15; vezi comentariul la Matei 7,24-27). Astazi. In fata conditiilor dificile. Indoiti. Compara Isaia 61,7. 9:13 Caci Imi incordez pe Iuda ca arc, si iau pe Efraim ca sageata si voi scula pe copiii tai, Sioane, impotriva copiilor tai, Grecio! Te voi face ca sabia unui viteaz! Incordez pe Iuda. Dumnezeu ca un razboinic pregatit de lupta, il foloseste pe Iuda ca arc al Sau si pe Efraim (Israel) ca sageata a Sa. Va scula. Propozitia zice literal, ,,Voi scula.” Grecia! Aici probabil un simbol al tarilor in care fusesera alungati iudeii (vezi Ioel 3,6). 9:14 Dar Domnul Se va arata deasupra lor, si sageata Lui va porni ca fulgerul; Domnul Dumnezeu va suna din trambita, si va inainta vijelia de la miaza-zi. Se va arata. Interventia lui Iehova este astfel descrisa poetic. Compara Psalmi 18,14. Vijelia. Compara Iov 37,9. 9:15 Domnul ostirilor ii va ocroti, si vor manca, si vor zdrobi pietrele de prastie, vor bea, vor face galagie ca ametiti de vin; vor fi plini ca un pahar de jertfa, ca si colturile altarului. Ii va ocroti. Continua descrierea poetica din v. 14. Limbajul figurat este extrem de dramatic. Macelarirea dusmanilor este comparata cu o jertfa, iar atacatorii sunt descrisi ca imbatati de sangele victimelor lor. 9:16 Domnul, Dumnezeul lor, ii va scapa in ziua aceea, ca pe turma poporului Sau; caci ei sunt pietrele cununii imparatesti, care vor straluci in tara Sa! Ii va scapa. Roata se intoarce. Cei care fusesera calcati in picioare si asupriti vor straluci ca pietrele pretioase ale unei coroane. 9:17 O! Cat sunt de infloritori! Cat sunt de frumosi! Graul va inveseli pe tineri, si mustul pe fete. Cat sunt de infloritori. Sau ,,Cat de mare e bunatatea Lui”. Domnul, puternicul Eliberator, este inaltat (vezi DA 26). Graul. Graul si mustul reprezinta o recolta imbelsugata. Nevoile vietii vor fi satisfacute din belsug cand Domnul isi va aseza iarasi poporul in mostenirea sa. COMENTARIILE LUI ELLEN G. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
