44:1 Dumnezeule, am auzit cu urechile noastre, si parintii nostri ne-au povestit lucrarile, pe care le-ai facut pe vremea lor, in zilele de odinioara. INTRODUCERE. -Psalmul 44 este o calduroasa staruitoare adresata lui Dumnezeu ca El sa intervina si sa izbaveasca pe poporul Sau de vrajmasii. Psalmul are patru subimpartiri: v. 1-8, bunatatea lui Dumnezeu fata de Israel in zilele de demult; v. 9-16, trista soarta prezenta a lui Israel; v. 17-22, afirmatia psalmistului ca Israel a ramas credincios lui Dumnezeu; si v. 23-26, apelul psalmistului catre Dumnezeu pentru a izbavi pe Israel. Compara cu Psalmii 59 si 89. Cu privire la preambul, vezi p. 617, 627. 1. Parintii nostri. Istoria faptelor minunate ale lui Dumnezeu era transmisa din tata in fiu (vezi Exod 10,2; 12,26.27; Deuteronom 6,20-25; 32,7). Expresia "zilele de odinioara" ["in zilele lor", KJV] merge cu gandul inapoi, la vremea intrarii in Canaan (vezi Psalm 44,3). 44:2 Cu mana Ta, ai izgonit neamuri, ca sa-i sadesti pe ei, ai lovit popoare, ca sa-i intinzi pe ei. Neamuri. Ebr. gayin, "popoare", aici popoarele Canaanului. In toata subimpartirea aceasta se scoate in evidenta ideea ca biruinta asupra vrajmasului a fost castigata nu prin taria lui Israel, ci prin interventia lui Dumnezeu. Pe ei. Adica pe copiii lui Israel. Popoare. Adica popoarele Canaanului. Ca sa-i intinzi pe ei. Mai degraba, "ca sa-i eliberezi pe ei", adica pe copiii lui Israel. Paralelismul dublu poate fi ilustrat de urmatoarea parafrazare: Cu mana Ta, ai izgonit neamurile Canaanului Si i-ai sadit pe copiii lui Israel; Ai lovit popoarele Canaanului Si ai eliberat pe copiii lui Israel. 44:3 Caci nu prin sabia lor au pus mana pe tara, nu bratul lor i-a mantuit, ci dreapta Ta, bratul Tau, lumina Fetei Tale, pentru ca ii iubeai. Fetei. Cuvantul tradus astfel este redat "Eu insumi" [Prezenta Mea, KJV; "Fata Mea" trd. Nitz.; "Ochiul Meu", trd. G. Galateni] in Exod 33,14.15. Prezenta lui Dumnezeu era simbolizata prin stalpul de nor (Exod 13,21). Ii iubeai. Sau "aveai mare placere de ei". 44:4 Dumnezeule, Tu esti Imparatul meu: porunceste izbavirea lui Iacov! Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 44:5 Cu Tine doboram pe vrajmasii nostri, cu Numele Tau zdrobim pe potrivnicii nostri. Cu Tine. [Prin Tine, KJV]. Biruinta e pusa in seama lui Dumnezeu. Doboram. Ebr. nagach, folosit pentru impungerea bovinelor cu coarne in Deuteronom 33,17. 44:6 Caci nu in arcul meu ma incred, nu sabia mea ma va scapa; Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 44:7 ci Tu ne izbavesti de vrajmasii nostri, si dai de rusine pe cei ce ne urasc. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 44:8 Noi, in fiecare zi, ne laudam cu Dumnezeu, si pururea slavim Numele Tau. (Oprire). Ne laudam. Sau, "preamarim". Dumnezeu este unicul motiv de lauda. Compara cu Isaia 25,1-4. Oprire. [Selah, KJV]. Vezi p. 629. 44:9 Dar Tu ne lepezi, ne acoperi de rusine, nu mai iesi cu ostirile noastre; Dar. Un puternic contrast intre victoria de demult a lui Israel sub mana puternica a lui Dumnezeu si soarta trista a natiunii din prezent. Psalmistul foloseste limbajul netehnic al scriitorilor Bibliei, care atat de des Il descriu pe Dumnezeu ca facand lucrurile acelea care nu impiedica sa fie facute (vezi la 2 Cronici 18,18). Exista un sens in care o astfel de descriere este corecta, dar limbajul trebuie sa fie inteles in lumina revelatiei generale a inspiratiei. Suferinta si moartea au patruns in lumea aceasta ca urmare a pacatului, iar vina pentru prezenta lor trebuie pusa pe seama lui Satana, nu a lui Dumnezeu. Dumnezeu "a semanat o samanta buna in tarina Lui", dar "a venit vrajmasul lui, a semanat neghina intre grau" (Matei 13,24.25). Exista un sens, in care uneori Dumnezeu este raspunzator in mod mai direct pentru nenorocire. Intr-o lume in care exista raul pare esential ca pacatul sa aduca pedeapsa, astfel incat pornirile rele ale inimii omului sa poata fi infranate. Astfel, Dumnezeu a randuit pedeapsa civila pentru persoanele individuale si a hotarat ca nelegiuirile poporului sa cada asupra poporului (vezi la 2 Cronici 22,8). Nenorocirile lui Israel faceau parte fie din categoria aceasta, in care caz nu erau pe nedrept, fie din categoria generala a suferintelor cu care vrajmasul hartuieste familia omeneasca. Intr-un asemenea caz, Dumnezeu nu ar trebui sa fie considerat raspunzator pentru ele. Cel in cauza poate ca nu intotdeauna va fi capabil sa determine cauza suferintei sale. In timp ce cauta un raspuns el ar trebui sa fie atent sa nu-L invinovateasca pe Dumnezeu in chip "necuvincios" (Iov 1,22). Ne lepezi. Compara cu Psalm 43,2. 44:10 ne faci sa dam dosul inaintea vrajmasului, si cei ce ne urasc, ridica prazi luate de la noi. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 44:11 Ne dai ca pe niste oi de mancat, si ne risipesti printre neamuri. Oi de mancat. Literal, "oi de hrana", adica oi menite sa fie macelarite pentru a servi ca hrana (vezi v. 22). Neamuri. [Natiuni, KJV]. Vezi la v. 2. 44:12 Vinzi pe poporul Tau pe nimic, si nu-l socotesti de mare pret. Pe nimic. Literal, "pe ne-bogatii". Era ca si cum Israel fusese lepadat, ca si cum n-ar fi avut nici o valoare. Nu-i socotesti de mare pret. Sau "nu ai tras nici un castig din pretul de vanzare a lor" (RSV). 44:13 Ne faci de ocara vecinilor nostri, de batjocura si de rasul celor ce ne inconjoara. Ocara. Compara cu Psalm 39,8. 44:14 Ne faci de pomina printre neamuri, si pricina de clatinare din cap printre popoare. De pomina. Ebr. mashal, un cuvant cu mai multe sensuri, "parabola", "proverb", "o cuvantare profetica simbolica" sau "un cantec de satira", ca aici si in Deuteronom 28,37 si 1 Regi 9,7. 44:15 Ocara mea este totdeauna inaintea mea, si rusinea imi acopera fata, Ocara. [Confuzie, KJV]. Sau, "insulta". Imi acopera fata. Compara cu Psalm 69,7. 44:16 la glasul celui ce ma batjocoreste si ma ocaraste, la vederea vrajmasului si razbunatorului. La glasul. Sau "din cauza glasului". La vederea. Versetul acesta incheie descrierea facuta de psalmist starii neajutorate a natiunii Israel. 44:17 Toate acestea ni se intampla, fara ca noi sa Te fi uitat, fara sa fi calcat legamantul Tau: Fara ca noi sa Te fi uitat. Psalmistul sustine ca motivul necazurilor lui Israel nu poate fi legat de parasirea lui Dumnezeu; ca desi ramasese credincioasa, ea fusese pedepsita. Legamantul Tau. E dificil de inteles cum putea psalmistul sa sustina ca Israel ramasese credincios, cand acesta se lepadase continuu de Dumnezeu. Poate ca el vrea sa spuna ca desi indivizii - chiar o majoritate dintre ei - calcasera legamantul, totusi, ca natiune, Israel nu-L tagaduise in mod oficial pe Dumnezeu. Sau, poate cuprins de adanca lui durere, el vorbeste folosind hiperbola, asa cum este obiceiul in Rasarit. 44:18 da, inima nu ni s-a abatut, pasii nu ni s-au departat de pe cararea Ta, Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 44:19 ca sa ne zdrobesti in locuinta sacalilor, si sa ne acoperi cu umbra mortii. Sacalilor. [Balauri, KJV]. Ebr. tannim, "sacali"; a nu se confunda cu tannin, "monstru marin" (Genesa 1,21; Psalm 148,7) sau "sarpe" (Exod 7,9.10). "Locuinta sacalilor" inseamna un loc salbatic, pustiu, pe unde misune astfel de creaturi. Psalmistul spune ca natiunea ebraica a fost jefuita si a devenise un loc potrivit in care sa locuiasca fiarele salbatice (vezi Ieremia 9,11; 10,22). Aceasta este o hiperbola impresionanta. Umbra mortii. Vezi la Psalm 23,4; vezi si Iov 3,5. 44:20 Daca am fi uitat Numele Dumnezeului nostru, si ne-am fi intins mainile spre un dumnezeu strain, Am fi intins mainile. Compara cu 1 Regi 8,22; 2 Cronici 6,12.13. 44:21 n-ar sti Dumnezeu lucrul acesta, El, care cunoaste tainele inimii? Cunoaste. Daca lucrul acesta ar fi adevarat, Dumnezeu ar sti. Acesta este un apel solemn la atotstiinta lui Dumnezeu. Inimii. Vezi Evrei 4,12. 44:22 Dar din pricina Ta suntem junghiati in toate zilele, suntem priviti ca niste oi sortite pentru macelarie. Din pricina Ta. Psalmistul pretinde ca suferintele nu erau din cauza ca poporul calcase legamantul, ci pentru ca ei erau poporul lui Dumnezeu. Pavel citeaza versetul acesta pentru a descrie suferintele crestinului (vezi Romani 8,36). 44:23 Trezeste-Te! Pentru ce dormi, Doamne? Trezeste-Te! Nu ne lepada pe vecie! Trezeste-te. Compara Psalm 3,7; 7,6; 35,23; 78,65. Pare ca Dumnezeu parasise cu totul pe Israel. Acum psalmistul incepe sa-L roage. Un tablou mai corespunzator despre purtarii de grija al lui Dumnezeu fata de Israel se gaseste in Psalm 121. 44:24 Pentru ce Iti ascunzi Fata? Pentru ce uiti de nenorocirea si apasarea noastra? Pentru ce Iti ascunzi Fata? Compara cu Psalm 13,1. 44:25 Caci sufletul ne este doborat in tarana de mahnire, trupul nostru este lipit de pamant. Sufletul ne este. Sau, "noi suntem" (vezi la Psalm 16,10). Versetul acesta arata o suferinta si o descurajare ajunse la extrem. 44:26 Scoala-Te, ca sa ne ajuti! Izbaveste-ne, pentru bunatatea Ta! Pentru bunatatea Ta. Sau "pentru iubirea Ta" (vezi la Psalm 36,7). In ciuda disperarii acute cu privire la soarta injositoare a natiunii, psalmistul nu renunta la credinta in iubirea lui Dumnezeu. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
