4:1 Raspunde-mi, cand strig, Dumnezeul neprihanirii mele: scoate-ma la loc larg, cand sunt la stramtoare! Ai mila, de mine, asculta-mi rugaciunea! INTRODUCERE -Psalmul 4 a fost numit "rugaciune de seara" si considerat continuarea psalmului 3. Seara, psalmistul priveste inapoi spre necazurilor zilei si e multumit. Un simtamant de pace si liniste dulce pune stapanire pe el, deoarece isi da seama ca, asa cum Dumnezeu fusese sprijinul lui in ceasurile de necaz, il va ocroti si in cursul noptii. S-a sugerat ca psalmul 5 ar trebui de asemenea citit odata cu psalmul 4, pentru ca psalmul 4 este o rugaciune potrivita pentru rugaciunea de seara si ca psalmul 5 este o cerere potrivita pentru inchinarea de dimineata. Acelasi ton pare sa strabata ambii psalmi. Cu privire la preambul, vezi p. 616, 629. 1. Raspunde-mi. [Asculta-ma, KJV]. Literal, "raspunde-mi", subintelegand un raspuns asteptat si favorabil. Dumnezeul neprihanirii mele. [Dreptatii mele, KJV]. Expresia aceasta nu se gaseste in alta parte in Vechiul Testament. Scoate-ma la loc larg. Literal, "in stramtoare Tu ai facut loc larg pentru mine". Aproape fiecare cuvant al acestui verset se termina cu vocala i, posibil ca si cum ar exprima un strigat prelungit. 4:2 Fiii oamenilor, pana cand va fi batjocorita slava mea? Pana cand veti iubi desertaciunea, si veti umbla dupa minciuni? (Oprire.) Fiii oamenilor. Ebr. bene 'ish. Expresia mai frecvent tradusa astfel este bene 'adam, care indica omenirea, in general. Prin contrast s-ar putea ca bene 'ish sa se refere la persoane distincte. David lasa deoparte rugaciunea sa catre Dumnezeu pentru a se adresa persecutorilor sai, ca si cum ar fi prezenti. Batjocorita slava mea. Daca aceasta se refera la razvratirea de pe timpul lui Absalom (vezi introducerile la Psalmi 3, 4), aluzia ar fi evidenta la faptul ca lui David ii fusese furata demnitatea regeasca si fusese adus intr-o stare mizerie crunta si lipsa acuta. Minciuni. Ebr. kazab, "minciuna". Rebelii alesesera un drum care trebuia curand sa se dovedeasca a fi doar o minciuna; ea trebuia sa se transforme intr-un esec total. Fagaduintele ca fericirea durabila poate fi atinsa prin placeri materiale si prin ambitie lumeasca trebuie sa se dovedeasca false; ele sunt doar minciuni. Oprire. [Selah, KJV]. vezi p. 629. 4:3 Sa stiti ca Domnul Si-a ales un om pe care-l iubeste: Domnul aude cand strig catre El. Sa stiti. Intrucat Iehova il pusese deoparte pe psalmist pentru o lucrare speciala, eforturile vrajmasilor lui de a nimici planul acesta este zadarnicit. Care-l iubeste. [Evlavios, KJV]. Ebr. chasid, cineva care-si arata iubirea fata de Dumnezeu prin felul sau evlavios de purtare (vezi Nota suplimentara la Psalm 36). Domnul aude. Intrucat este evlavios si prin urmare isi indeplineste cu credinciosie slujba la care a fost chemat de Dumnezeu, el e sigur ca Dumnezeu il va asculta si-l va scapa. Iata un adevarat motiv de incredere: daca crestinul indeplineste cu credinciosie planul pe care Dumnezeu il are pentru el, se poate astepta ca Dumnezeu sa-l sustina pana va aduce la indeplinire lucrarea pe care Cerul a randuit-o ca el sa o faca. 4:4 Cutremurati-va, si nu pacatuiti! Spuneti lucrul acesta in inimile voastre cand stati in pat: apoi taceti. Cutremurati-va. Ebr. ragaz, literal, "tremurati", "tulburati-va". Vrajmasii (v. 2) sunt sfatuiti sa tremure atunci cand se gandesc la urmarile purtarii lor razvratite si deci sa se opreasca. Nu pacatuiti. Nu continuati sa pacatuiti prin urmarirea in continuare a planurilor voastre nelegiuite. Spuneti lucrurile acestea in inimile voastre. Literal, "vorbiti cu inima voastra". Astazi am putea spune: "judecati bine problema"; sau "apelati la ce aveti mai bun in voi, la sentimentele voastre generoase decat sa va sprijiniti pe mintea voastra, pe vointa voastra sau pe pasiunile voastre". Taceti. [Fiti linistiti, KJV]. "Numai in apa statatoare se depune malul si numai in noptile linistite cade roua. Noaptea, cand ochiul e inchis pentru lumea inconjuratoare, sa fie deschis pentru cercetare de sine" (F.B. Meyer). In linistea noptii, cand omul e singur si numai ochiul lui Dumnezeu priveste asupra lui, el e liber sa cerceteze planurile sale in lumina aprobarii lui Dumnezeu si sa ajunga la concluzii temeinice. Aceasta este solutia pentru nelinistea sufleteasca si intelectuala si reteta pentru pacatosi (vezi Iov 33,14-17). Oprire. [Selah, KJV]. vezi p. 629. 4:5 Aduceti jertfe neprihanite, si incredeti-va in Domnul. Jertfe neprihanite. [Jertfele dreptatii, KJV]. Jertfele insuflate de motive drepte si dintr-o inima sincera (vezi Deuteronom 33,19; Psalm 51,19) in opozitie cu jertfele desarte (vezi Isaia 1,13; Ieremia 6,20; Mica 6,7.8). 4:6 Multi zic: Cine ne va arata fericirea? Eu insa zic: Fa sa rasara peste noi lumina Fetei Tale, Doamne! Multi zic. Intrebarea generala printre oameni este: "Cine ne va arata ce e bine? Unde poate fi gasita adevarata fericire? Ce este adevarata fericire?" Acestea sunt intrebarile batjocoritoare ale materialismului fara Dumnezeu (vezi Psalm 16,11). Fa sa rasara peste noi lumina Fetei Tale, Doamne. Compara cu binecuvantarea aaronice (Numeri 6,26). In opozitie cu planurile vrajmasilor sai, psalmistul doreste numai bunavointa lui Dumnezeu - acesta este binele suprem. Adevaratul copil al lui Dumnezeu gaseste multumire durabila nu in cele materiale si in placerile senzuale ale lumii, ci doar stiind ca are aprobarea cerului atunci cand se bucura de comuniunea cu Dumnezeu. 4:7 Tu-mi dai mai multa bucurie in inima mea, decat au ei cand li se inmulteste rodul graului si al vinului. Bucurie in inima mea. Nu asa-numita fericire a lucrurilor si bunurilor lumesti, ci fericirea aratata in v. 6, fericirea de a se bucura de zambetul lui Dumnezeu. Bucuria aceasta este mai mare decat bucuria agricultorilor care se bucura de belsugul recoltei. La evrei ca si la cei mai multi oameni, timpul adunarii recoltei era prilej de bucurie deosebita. Graului. Ebr. dagan, "cereale in general". Dagan nu trebuie sa fie confundat cu porumbul. Produsele cerealiere principale ale Palestinei erau: graul, orzul, secara si meiul. Expresia "graul si vinul" pare sa fi fost folosita uneori, in general, pentru rodul ogoarelor si livezilor. Vinului. Ebr. tirosh, literal, "vin nou", asa cum e tradus cuvantul in Isaia 65,8 [KJV; zeama, trd. Cornilescu). 4:8 Eu ma culc si adorm in pace, caci numai Tu, Doamne, imi dai liniste deplina in locuinta mea. Si. Literal, "impreuna" sau "in acelasi timp". Intrucat sufletul psalmistului impacat, el poate sa se culce si sa adoarma linistit. Increderea in Dumnezeu da siguranta unui somn linistit. Ambele merg mana in mana. Conditia aceasta este corespondentul experientei descrise in Psalm 3,5, in care psalmistul cugeta dimineata ca Dumnezeu ii ingaduise sa doarma, cu toate ca il inconjurau vrajmasi inspaimantatori. Acum, seara, merge un pas mai departe si se culca linistit, constient fiind ca desi este inca inconjurat de vrajmasii sai, Dumnezeu ii va darui un somn linistit si odihnitor (vezi Proverbe 3,24). Imi dai liniste deplina in locuinta mea. Psalmistul exprima ideea ca isi da seama ca doar lui Dumnezeu Ii datoreaza siguranta din cursul noptii. Ce incredere! Sa stii ca vei fi bine pazit si sa recunosti faptul ca datorezi linistea si siguranta ta doar Dumnezeului tau! Crestinul care se impartaseste de increderea psalmistului nu are de ce sa se teama nici in timpul somnului noptii, nici in timpul datoriilor zilei. Ideea din v. 8 este ideea fundamentala a Psalmului 121. Exista o sugestie ca facand parte din inchinarea publica, psalmul acesta poate era cantat in templu astfel: v. 1-4 in timpul pregatirii jertfei, v. 5.6 in timpul aducerii jertfei, v. 7.8 dupa aducerea jertfei, ca o asigurare de primire. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
