34:1 Voi binecuvanta pe Domnul in orice vreme; lauda Lui va fi totdeauna in gura mea. INTRODUCERE -Psalmul 34 se numara si el printre psalmii alfabetici sau sub forma de acrostih (vezi p. 625). El imbina recunostinta personala cu multumirea generala. Tema purtarii de grija a lui Dumnezeu pentru cei nenorociti este prezentata mai mult prin tratarea aspectelor diferite decat prin dezvoltarea logica ideii exprimate. Psalmul are 22 de versete (23 in ebraica, avand versetul 1 drept preambul), fiecare incepand cu o litera a alfabetului ebraic in ordinea regulata, cu urmatoarele exceptii: litera waw e omisa, iar pe' apare ca litera de inceput a ultimului verset. Cu privire la preambul, vezi p. 616, 627. Vezi harta urmatoare. 1. In orice vreme. Vezi Efeseni 5,20. Psalmistul incepe psalmul pe un ton personal. 34:2 Sa mi se laude sufletul in Domnul! Sa asculte cei nenorociti si sa se bucure. Sufletul. Adica "eu (vezi la Psalm 16,10). 34:3 Inaltati pe Domnul, impreuna cu mine. Sa laudam cu totii Numele Lui! Cu mine. Psalmistul invita pe cei "nenorociti" ["smeriti", KJV] sa i se alature in preamarirea lui Iehova. Noi "inaltam" ["preamarim", KJV] pe Dumnezeu cand Ii "dam slava" ["punem in socoteala... maretia", KJV] (vezi Deuteronom 32,2). "Toti preamaresc puterea Numelui lui Isus". "Asa sa zica cei rascumparati de Domnul" (Psalm 107,2). In serviciul sinagogii moderne, Psalmul 34,3 e rostita cand se ia Tora din chivot. Numele. Vezi la Psalm 7,17. 34:4 Eu am cautat pe Domnul, si mi-a raspuns: m-a izbavit din toate temerile mele. Mi-a raspuns. [M-a auzit, KJV]. Aici psalmistul incepe sa vorbeasca despre secretul recunostintei lui. E recunoscator pentru ceea ce a facut Dumnezeu pentru el, pentru ceea ce a facut El pentru altii si pentru invataturile pe care i le-a dat prin intermediul experientei. 34:5 Cand iti intorci privirile spre El, te luminezi de bucurie, si nu ti se umple fata de rusine. Iti intorci privirile. [Ei au privit, KJV]. Probabil "nenorocitii" ["smeritii", KJV] din v. 2; poate oamenii, in general, care au simtit mila duioasa a lui Dumnezeu, asa cum facuse psalmistul. Un numar de manuscrise ebraice, precum si versiunile lui Aquila, a lui Ieronim si Siriaca au verbul la imperativ: "priviti". Te luminezi. [Au fost luminati, KJV]. Sau, "facuti sa straluceasca" (vezi 2 Corinteni 3,18). "Atintiti-va privirile spre Isus, priviti indelung Fata Lui minunata". Nimic nu e mai frumos decat fata stralucitoare a unui crestin adevarat. Cand Dumnezeu Isi indreapta privirile spre calea noastra, toata lumea e luminata. O usoara schimbare de punctuatie face ca verbul sa fie la imperativ (vezi la "ei au privit" din v. 5), fiind tradus "dati raze [de bucurie]". LXX are si ea verbul la imperativ. 34:6 Cand striga un nenorocit, Domnul aude, si-l scapa din toate necazurile lui. Un nenorocit. [Saracul acesta, KJV]. Probabil psalmistul vorbeste despre sine la persoana a treia, in felul acesta prezentand un tablou emotionant pentru perceptia noastra. Versetul acesta, potrivit formei de acrostih, ar trebuie sa inceapa cu waw, totusi litera initiala este zayin, litera urmatoare. 34:7 Ingerul Domnului tabaraste in jurul celor ce se tem de El, si-i scapa din primejdie. Ingerul Domnului. Despre slujirea ingerilor ceresti, vezi AA 153, 154; GC 511-513, 631, 632. Tabaraste. Vezi Genesa 32,1.2; 2 Regi 6,16.17. Prezenta continua a ingerilor pazitori este una dintre cele mai placute certitudini ale crestinului. 34:8 Gustati si vedeti ce bun este Domnul! Ferice de omul care se increde in El! Gustati si vedeti. Psalmistul nu ii invita pe ceilalti sa ia de bun cuvantul sau, ci sa testeze ei insisi chestiunea in cauza. "Gustati" vine de la ebraicul ta?am, "a incerca gustul a ceva", insemnand aici "a experimenta" (vezi Evrei 6,5; 1 Petru 2,3). Cea mai sigura dovada a religiei este de gasit in experienta personala. Fara experienta crestina, religia lui Hristos este numai teorie si ca simpla teorie n-are deloc putere salvatoare. Bun. Ebr. tob, un cuvant care acopera un numar mare de calitati, precum "milostiv", "bun", "prietenos". Cugetand asupra acestui atribut al lui Dumnezeu noi ar trebui sa ne corectam modul rece de a judeca lucrurile. Noi ar trebui sa fim sensibili la componentele mai duioase ale caracterului lui Dumnezeu. Cand suntem ispititi sa uitam bunatatea in legaturile noastre cu oamenii, avem nevoie sa ne gandim la aceasta insusire a Dumnezeirii. Ferice. Vezi la Psalm 1,1. Omul. Ebr. geber, "omul tanar, viguros". Nimeni nu e mai presus de nevoia dupa ajutor divin. In planul divin, independenta e imposibila. Omul are nevoie de Dumnezeu. 34:9 Temeti-va de Domnul, voi, sfintii Lui, caci de nimic nu duc lipsa cei ce se tem de El! Sfintii. Ebr. qedoshim, "cei sfinti" (vezi la Psalm 16,3; Levitic 19,2). Nu duc lipsa. Vezi la Psalm 23,1. 34:10 Puii de leu duc lipsa, si li-i foame, dar cei ce cauta pe Domnul nu duc lipsa de nici un bine. Leu. Asa puternici cum sunt, puii de leu infometeaza, dar cei ce cauta pe Dumnezeu nu duc lipsa de nimic ce e cu adevarat bun. 34:11 Veniti, fiilor, si ascultati-ma, caci va voi invata frica Domnului. Fiilor. Asemenea unui invatator, psalmistul ofera invatatura. Versetele 11-14 constituie o lectie reunita de invataturi referitoare la subiectele diferite ale psalmului. Frica Domnului. Pentru comentariu, vezi la Psalm 19,9. 34:12 Cine este omul, care doreste viata, si vrea sa aiba parte de zile fericite? Doreste viata. Intrebarea cuprinde "directiile" psihologice de baza ale omului. Toti oamenii doresc sa traiasca mult si fericit. 34:13 Fereste-ti limba de rau, si buzele de cuvinte inselatoare! Fereste-ti limba. Vezi Psalm 15,2.3; 39,1-3; Proverbe 18,21; 1 Petru 3,10-12; Iacov 3,2-10. Versetele 13 si 14 raspund la intrebarea v. 12. Liturghia iudaica moderna zilnica are in cuprins versetul acesta. Cuvinte inselatoare. Ebr. mirmah, "inselaciune". 34:14 Departeaza-te de rau, si fa binele; cauta pacea, si alearga dupa ea! Departeaza-te de rau. Vezi Psalm 37,27; Isaia 1,16.17. Vietuirea crestina are atat parti pozitive, cat si negative. Trebuie sa ne departam de rau si sa facem binele. Simpla abtinere de la savarsirea raului nu e de ajuns. Trebuie sa fim activi in savarsirea binelui. 34:15 Ochii Domnului sunt peste cei fara prihana, si urechile Lui iau aminte la strigatele lor. Ochii Domnului. Vezi Psalm 32,8. 34:16 Domnul Isi intoarce Fata impotriva celor rai, ca sa le stearga pomenirea de pe pamant. Fata. Asa dupa cum cei drepti se afla sub privirile Domnului, tot asa cei rai descopera ca Fata Domnului e intoarsa impotriva lor. Atat cei drepti, cat si cei nelegiuiti sunt priviti la fel de Dumnezeu. Pomenirea. Compara cu Proverbe 10,7. 34:17 Cand striga cei fara prihana, Domnul aude, si-i scapa din toate necazurile lor. Scapa. Adesea in viata aceasta si pe deplin in viata viitoare. Fagaduinta nu garanteaza eliberare deplina aici; dar in cazul oricarui om neprihanit, cerul va insemna izbavire de toate necazurile. 34:18 Domnul este aproape de cei cu inima infranta, si mantuieste pe cei cu duhul zdrobit. Inima infranta. O inima infranta de intristare sau suferinta il pregateste pe om sa fie atent la invataturile extrem de importante pe care le are de dat Dumnezeu (vezi Psalm 119,71). Ideea de "inima infranta" este frecventa in Biblie (vezi Isaia 51,17; 61,1; 66,2). 34:19 De multe ori vine nenorocirea peste cel fara prihana, dar Domnul il scapa totdeauna din ea. De multe ori vine nenorocirea. [Multe sunt nenorocirile, KJV]. Vezi v. 17. Faptul ca cineva este crestin nu-l scuteste neaparat de nenorocire, dar ii da taria sa o suporte. Totusi, s-a observat ca suferintele crestinului sunt mai putine decat ale necredinciosului, care sufera urmarile necumpatarii, ale nelegiuirii si ale obiceiurilor rele. Unele din rasplatirile unei vietuiri drepte sunt gustate chiar in viata aceasta. 34:20 Toate oasele i le pazeste, ca nici unul din ele sa nu i se sfarame. Toate oasele i le pazeste. Dumnezeu ii apara pe cei drepti de dusmanii lor si vegheaza asupra lor (vezi Matei 10,28-30), Nici unul din ele. Principiul general este ca cei drepti sunt sub ocrotire divina. In Biblie principiile generale sunt adesea exprimate printr-un limbaj concret (vezi Matei 10,30.31). Ca implinire a Scripturii, oasele lui Isus nu au fost zdrobite (vezi Ioan 19,36; cf. Exod 12,46; Numeri 9,12; DA 771, 772). 34:21 Pe cel rau il omoara nenorocirea, dar vrajmasii celui fara prihana sunt pedepsiti. Pe cel rau il omoara. Pacatul se autodistruge. Moartea este consecinta naturala si inevitabila a pacatului. Pedepsiti. [Pustiiti, KJV]. Mai bine "vor fi socotiti vinovati" (vezi Psalm 5,10). 34:22 Domnul scapa sufletul robilor Sai, si nici unul din cei ce se incred in El, nu este osandit. Scapa. Gandul din versetul acesta e in contrast cu acela din v. 21. Sufletul. Vezi la Psalm 16,10. Nu este osandit. [Nu este pustiit, KJV]. Vezi la v. 21. Repetarea verbului in v. 21 si 22 accentueaza contrastul dintre soarta celor nelegiuiti si eliberarea finala a celor care se incred in Dumnezeu. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
