32:1 Acesti trei oameni au incetat sa mai raspunda lui Iov, pentru ca el se socotea fara vina. Au incetat sa mai raspunda. In ciuda magnificei aparari a lui Iov, prietenii lui au renuntat sa mai argumenteze, considerandu-l om incapatanat, multumit de sine. Ei nu putusera sa raspunda argumentelor lui, dar nici nu indrazneau sa-si primejduiasca traditiile. Iov i-ar fi putut multumi numai printr-o deplorabila marturisire a pacatului. El nu putea face lucrul acesta el in mod onest, de aceea discutia dintre Iov, Elifaz, Bildad si Tofar s-a sfarsit prin retragerea acestora din urma. 32:2 Atunci s-a aprins de manie Elihu, fiul lui Baracheel din Buz, din familia lui Ram. El s-a aprins de manie impotriva lui Iov, pentru ca zicea ca este fara vina inaintea lui Dumnezeu. Elihu. Informatiile cu privire la el sunt limitate. El nu apare nici inainte, nici dupa cuvantarea sa. Cu toate acestea se dau mai multe amanunte cu privire la inaintasii sai decat cu privire la oricare alta persoana mentionata in carte. Elihu este un nume oarecum obisnuit, care inseamna "El este Dumnezeul [meu]" (vezi 1 Samuel 1:1; 1 Cronici 12:20; 26:7; 27:18). "Baracheel", numele tatalui sau, inseamna "Dumnezeu binecuvanteaza". "Din Buz" il identifica pe Elihu ca tragandu-se din familia lui Nahor, fratele lui Avraam (Genesa 22:20.21; cf. Genesa 11:29). Ram a fost identificat de unii ca fiind stramosul lui David, amintit in Rut 4:19 si in Matei 1:3.4, sub numele de Aram. Altii presupun ca era din familia lui Nahor, mentionata in Genesa 22:21. Zicea ca este fara vina. [Se indreptatea, KJV]. Motivul cuvantarii lungi a lui Elihu este acela de a-L apara pe Dumnezeu. El are putin de spus cu privire la trecutul lui Iov. El e un filozof, care intentioneaza intentia de apara o tema, iar teza lui este: "Are un om dreptul sa se planga de Dumnezeu?" 32:3 Si s-a aprins de manie impotriva celor trei prieteni ai lui, pentru ca nu gaseau nimic de raspuns si totusi osandeau pe Iov. Nu gaseau nimic de raspuns. Argumentele prezentate de Elifaz, Bildad si Tofar nu erau corespunzatoare, asa cum vedea lucrurile Elihu. El porneste sa stabileasca o filozofie corespunzatoare ca sa rezolve problema incurcata care fusese pusa de viata lui Iov si suferintele lui. Elihu osandeste tot atat de mult pe Iov ca si prietenii sai, dar pentru alte motive. 32:4 Fiindca ei erau mai in varsta decat el, Elihu asteptase pana in clipa aceasta, ca sa vorbeasca lui Iov. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 32:5 Dar, vazand ca nu mai era nici un raspuns in gura acestor trei oameni, Elihu s-a aprins de manie. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 32:6 Si Elihu, fiul lui Baracheel din Buz, a luat cuvantul, si a zis: Eu sunt tanar, si voi sunteti batrani: de aceea m-am temut, si m-am ferit sa va arat gandul meu. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 32:7 Eu imi ziceam: Sa vorbeasca batranetea, marele numar de ani sa invete pe altii intelepciunea. Imi ziceam. Elihu trecuse printr-o lupta. El dorise sa vorbeasca, dar judecata sanatoasa si traditia ii spuneau sa lase pe cei mai varstnici sa fie promotorii intelepciunii. 32:8 Dar, de fapt, in om, duhul, suflarea Celui Atotputernic, da priceperea. Duhul. Elihu arata aici de ce se incumeta sa vorbeasca, cu toate ca era cel mai tanar din grup. El a tras concluzia ca puterea de intelegere vine nu odata cu varsta, ci de la Duhul lui Dumnezeu. Intrucat intelepciunea este un dar de la Dumnezeu, tineretea o poate avea tot atat de bine ca si maturitatea. 32:9 Nu varsta aduce intelepciunea, nu batranetea te face in stare sa judeci. Nu varsta. [Oamenii mari, KJV]. Sau "cei multi". LXX, Siriaca si Vulgata sprijina varianta "cei varstnici". 32:10 Iata de ce zic: Ascultati-ma! Imi voi spune si eu parerea. Iata de ce. Avand in vedere faptul ca intelepciunea este un dar de la Dumnezeu si nu e limitata la varsta sau pozitie sociala, Elihu indrazneste sa-si expuna parerea. 32:11 Am asteptat sfarsitul cuvantarilor voastre, v-am urmarit dovezile, cercetarea pe care ati facut-o cuvintelor lui Iov. Am asteptat. Versetul acesta arata ca Elihu ascultase cu grija tot ce avusesera de spus prietenii lui Iov. 32:12 V-am dat toata luarea aminte; si iata ca, nici unul din voi nu l-a incredintat, nici unul nu i-a rasturnat cuvintele. Incredintat. [Convins, KJV]. Sau "condamnat". Elihu vrea sa spuna nu numai ca Iov nu era convins, ci si ca argumentele lui Iov rezolvate de catre oponentii lui. 32:13 Sa nu ziceti insa: In el noi am gasit intelepciunea; numai Dumnezeu il poate infunda, nu un om! Dumnezeu il poate infunda. Nu e clar daca propozitia aceasta este o exprimare a gandului lui Elihu sau o parte a afirmatiei exprimata de prietenii lui Iov. Potrivit celei de a doua variante, Elihu ii avertizeaza pe prietenii lui impotriva faptului ca au invocat scuza ca n-au putut sa-l convinga pe Iov spunand ca numai Dumnezeu poate raspunde argumentelor lui Iov. Conform primei variante, sensul este ca doar Dumnezeu il poate smeri pe Iov. Oamenii intelepti nu fusesera in stare sa combata argumentele lui Iov. Traditia si preceptele lor fusesera inutile. Urma ca Dumnezeu sa intervina si sa faca ceea ce ei nu izbutisera sa faca. 32:14 Mie nu mi-a vorbit de-a dreptul: de aceea eu ii voi raspunde cu totul altfel decat voi. Mie. [Impotriva mea, KJV]. Elihu poate sa trateze argumentele mai obiectiv, deoarece cuvintele aspre ale lui Iov nu-i fusesera adresate. El fusese doar spectator, observator. Cu totul altfel. [Nu cu vorbirile voastre, KJV]. Elihu se gandeste sa abordeze problema diferit. Cei trei prieteni au repetat in mare masura parerile unii altora. Elihu fagaduieste sa contribuie la discutie cu ceva nou. 32:15 Ei se tem, nu mai raspund! Li s-a taiat cuvantul! Se tem. [Sunt uimiti, KJV]. S-ar putea ca in afirmatia aceasta Elihu sa se adreseze lui Iov sau sa foloseasca persoana a treia numai pentru a parea mai putin lipsit de respect. In orice caz, el pare ca se refera la cei trei prieteni. Se pare ca ii mustra din cauza incapacitatii lor de a face fata argumentelor lui Iov. 32:16 Am asteptat pana si-au sfarsit cuvantarile, pana s-au oprit si n-au stiut ce sa mai raspunda. Am asteptat. Aceasta poate fi tradus totodata "si trebuie sa astept?" Nerabdarea tanarului Elihu se da pe fata, impunandu-i pe cei mai varstnici din cauza tacerii lor si prin manifestarea unui avant crescand in prezentarea propriilor sale puncte de vedere. 32:17 Vreau sa raspund si eu la randul meu, vreau sa spun si eu ce gandesc. Vreau sa raspund. Hotararea e luata. Elihu nu mai asteapta. A rabdat tacerea prietenilor cat a putut mai mult. 32:18 Caci sunt plin de cuvinte, imi da ghes duhul inauntrul meu; Cuvinte. Compara cu afirmatia lui Tofar din cap. 20:2.3. Prietenii lui Iov nu mai aveau nici un cuvant de spus. Elihu, dimpotriva, era "plin" de cuvinte. Duhul inlauntrul meu. Literal, "spiritul pantecelui meu". 32:19 inauntrul meu este ca un vin care n-are pe unde sa iasa, ca niste burdufuri noi, gata sa plezneasca. Ca un vin. Vinul in timpul fermentarii, daca e pus in burdufuri vechi, umfla containerul, in general facut din piele, pana la punctul exploziei (vezi Matei 9:17), o ilustratie potrivita pentru ravna de a vorbi, care umplea sufletul ui Elihu. 32:20 Voi vorbi deci, ca sa rasuflu in voie, imi voi deschide buzele si voi raspunde. Sa rasufle. Presiunea launtrica crescuse in timpul cuvantarilor lungi ale prietenilor. Se ajunsese la punctul maxim. 32:21 Nu voi cauta la infatisare, nu voi lingusi pe nimeni; Nu voi cauta la infatisare. Elihu doreste, sincer, sa fie cinstit. El neaga orice preferinta personala. Nu vrea sa fie influentat de varsta, rang sau prietenie personala. Cu siguranta ca teoria lui va displacea unora dintre ascultatori, de acea el simte ca e nevoie sa faca aceasta afirmatie cu privire la obiectivitatea sa. Nu voi lingusi. [Nu voi da titluri lingusitoare, KJV]. E binecunoscuta practica orientala de a da titluri lungi si extravagante. Lingusirea este osandita de Iov (cap. 17:5), de psalmist (Psalm 12:2.3; 78:36) si de Solomon (Proverbe 2:16; 7:21; 28:23). 32:22 caci nu stiu sa lingusesc: altfel, intr-o clipita m-ar lua Ziditorul meu. Ziditorul meu. Elihu crede ca Dumnezeu i-ar putea sa-l opreasca daca s-ar deda la lingusiri. El este credincios promisiunii lui si in tot lungul lui discurs nu poate fi acuzat de nesinceritate. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
