16:1 Cuvantul Domnului mi-a vorbit astfel: Cuvantul Domnului. Vezi comentariul la cap. 14,1. 16:2 Sa nu-ti iei nevasta, si sa n-ai in locul acesta nici fii nici fiice! Sa nu-ti iei nevasta. Aceasta interdictie fara indoiala ca a venit mai de timpuriu in viata profetului, caci tinerii evrei se casatoreau de obicei devreme (vezi comentariul la Geneza 38,1; 2Regi 22,1; 23,36; vezi Vol. II, p. 151). Motivul acestei interdictii este aratat in Ieremia 16,3.4. Atat parintii cat si copiii aveau sa sufere in curand cea mai tragica soarta. Starea de necasatorit a lui Ieremia urma sa fie un semn pentru aceasta generatie razvratita. Compara Isaia 8,18; Ezechiel 24,24.27. Conducerea lucrarii lui Dumnezeu deseori necesita sacrificii personale (Luca 14,26; vezi comentariul la 1Corinteni 7,29). 16:3 Caci asa vorbeste Domnul despre fiii si fiicele care se vor naste in locul acesta, despre mamele care-i vor naste, si despre tatii lor care le vor da nastere in tara aceasta: Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 16:4 vor muri doborati de boala rea. Nimeni nu-i va plange, nici nu-i va ingropa, ci vor fi ca un gunoi pe pamant; vor pieri de sabie si de foamete; si trupurile lor moarte vor sluji ca hrana pasarilor cerului si fiarelor pamantului. Boala rea. Literal, ,,mortile bolilor”; se poate referi la cele pricinuite de ciuma sau foamete (vezi comentariul la cap. 14,18) in contrast cu cele primite de sabie. Nu-i va plange. Deoarece iudeii considerau randuielile si ceremoniile religioase ca fiind de o mare importanta, neglijarea lor era o mare dezonoare (vezi cap. 9,20-22; 14,16). 16:5 Caci asa vorbeste Domnul: Sa nu intri in nici o casa de jale, sa nu plangi in ea, si nici sa nu te bocesti cu ei, caci Mi-am luat inapoi de la poporul acesta pacea Mea, zice Domnul, bunatatea si indurarea Mea. Casa de jale. LXX traduce ,,masa de jale”. Aceasta interdictie sublinia si mai mult seriozitatea nenorocirilor care urmau sa vina asupra lui Iuda (vezi Ezechiel 24,15-27; vezi comentariul la Levitic 10,6.7). Pacea Mea. Nici o napasta mai mare ca aceasta nu putea veni asupra lui Iuda, deoarece ,,pacea” lui Dumnezeu continea toate celelalte binecuvantari constituind expresia deplina a ,,bunatatii si indurarii” Domnului (vezi Ioan 14,27; vezi comentariul la Ieremia 6,14). 16:6 Si mari si mici, toti vor muri in tara aceasta, si nu vor fi ingropati: nimeni nu-i va plange, nimeni nu-si va face taieturi din pricina lor, si nu se va rade pentru ei. Nu vor fi ingropati. Vezi comentariul la v. 4. Nu-si va face taieturi… si nu se va rade. Aceste practici paganesti ,,pentru mort” erau interzise de lege (vezi Levitic 19,28; 21,5; Deuteronom 14,1; comp. Ieremia 7,29). Evident, israelitii adoptasera aceste obiceiuri, negresit savarsindu-le cu si mai mare sarguinta in timpul domniei lui Ahaz si Manase (vezi Ieremia 41,5; Mica 1,16). Dintre cele doua fapte rele, raderea crestetului capului era probabil cel mai adesea practicata. 16:7 Nimeni nu le va pune masa in timpul jelirii ca sa-i mangaie pentru cel mort; si nimeni nu le va intinde paharul mangaierii pentru tatal sau pentru mama lor. Nu le va pune masa in timpul jalirii. LXX traduce aici: ,,Tu sa nu frangi o paine in jale pentru ei”, o exprimare sustinuta de doua manuscrise ebraice. Daca traducerea este corecta, ea probabil se refera la ospetele funerare. 16:8 Sa nu intri nici intr-o casa de petrecere, ca sa te asezi cu ei, sa mananci si sa bei. Casa de petrecere. Ieremia nu avea sa se fereasca nu numai de locurile de jale (vezi v. 5); el urma sa se tina departe si de participarea la vreo ocazie sociala de petrecere. In solemna constiinta a misiunii sale speciale el trebuia sa se abtina de la asemenea intalniri. 16:9 Caci asa vorbeste Domnul ostirilor, Dumnezeul lui Israel: Iata, voi face sa inceteze in locul acesta, sub ochii vostri si in zilele voastre, strigatele de bucurie si strigatele de veselie, cantecele mirelui si cantecele miresei. Voi face sa inceteze. Vezi cap. 7,34; 25,10; 33,11. 16:10 Cand vei vesti poporului acestuia toate aceste lucruri, ei iti vor zice: Pentru ce ne ameninta Domnul cu toate aceste mari nenorociri? Ce nelegiuire si ce pacat am facut impotriva Domnului, Dumnezeului nostru? Ce nelegiuire si pacat am facut? Un nou prilej cand cei apostati din ingustime spirituala sau din surpriza ipocrita intreaba de ce trebuie sa vina peste ei pedepsele lui Dumnezeu (vezi cap. 5,19; 13,22). Orbi fata de realitate si adancimea propriei lor nelegiuiri, ei nu puteau vedea ca se gaseau intr-o stare mai rea decat altii, si gaseau o falsa, dar alinatoare mangaiere in aceasta comparatie. Ei se agatau mereu de formele cultului adevarat si se incredeau in Templu (vezi comentariul la cap. 7,4). 16:11 Atunci sa le raspunzi: Parintii vostri M-au parasit, zice Domnul, s-au dus dupa alti dumnezei, le-au slujit si s-au inchinat inaintea lor; iar pe Mine M-au parasit, si n-au pazit Legea Mea! Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 16:12 Si voi ati facut si mai rau decat parintii vostri; caci iata ca fiecare umblati dupa pornirile inimii voastre rele, si nu m-ascultati. Pornirile. Literal, ,,incapatanarea”. 16:13 De aceea, va voi muta din tara aceasta intr-o tara, pe care n-ati cunoscut-o, nici voi, nici parintii vostri; si acolo, veti sluji altor dumnezei, zi si noapte, caci nu va voi ierta! Veti sluji altor dumnezei. Intrucat poporul lui Dumnezeu staruia fara incetare sa slujeasca in tara lor dumnezeilor straini, ca o plata cuvenita Domnul urma sa-i aseze in tara acestor dumnezei ca sa le slujeasca acolo. 16:14 De aceea iata, vin zile, zice Domnul, cand nu se va mai zice: Viu este Domnul, care a scos din tara Egiptului pe copiii lui Israel! Nu se va mai zice. Atat de mult mai vie in amintirea lor urma sa fie robia babiloniana decat robia egipteana incat, atunci cand exilatii se vor fi intors ei se vor gandi mai mult la eliberarea lor din Babilon decat la exodul lor din Egipt ca o distinsa manifestare a indurarii si puterii divine. 16:15 Ci se va zice: Viu este Domnul, care a scos pe copiii lui Israel din tara de la miaza-noapte si din toate tarile unde-i izgonise! Caci ii voi aduce inapoi in tara lor, pe care o dadusem parintilor lor. Tara de la miazanoapte. Adica, Babilonul (vezi comentariul la cap. 1,14). 16:16 Iata, trimit o multime de pescari, zice Domnul, si-i vor pescui; si dupa aceea, voi trimite o multime de vanatori, si-i vor vana pe toti muntii si pe toate dealurile, si in crapaturile stancilor. Multime de pescari. O figura de stil reprezentand invadatorii babilonieni, care urmau sa impresoare Iuda si Ierusalimul, ca si un navod, neingaduindu-i cuiva sa scape (vezi Amos 4,2; Habacuc 1,15). Imaginea pescarilor este folosita si intr-un sens bun. Isus a asemanat imparatia cerurilor cu ,,un navod aruncat in mare, care prinde tot felul de pesti” (Matei 13,47). El i-a chemat pe ucenicii Sai spre a fi ,,pescari de oameni” (Matei 4,19). Adevaratul evanghelist este descris ca ,,vanand si pescuind dupa oameni” (Ev 116). Vanatori. O alta imagine care ii reprezinta pe invadatori poate accentuand ideea urmaririi israelitilor individual spre a fi prinsi sau omorati, in timp ce ,,pescarii” reprezinta prinderea iudeilor ca un tot in navodul campaniei militare. 16:17 Caci ochii Mei sunt cu luare aminte la toate caile lor; ele nu sunt ascunse inaintea Fetei Mele, si nelegiuirea lor nu este ascunsa de privirile Mele. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 16:18 De aceea le voi rasplati mai intai indoit nelegiuirea si pacatul lor, pentru ca Mi-au spurcat tara, pentru ca Mi-au umplut mostenirea cu trupurile moarte ale jertfelor aduse idolilor lor si cu uraciunile lor. Voi rasplati. La fel cum in legea mozaica o restituire sau o pedeapsa uneori egala cu dublul raului savarsit, alcatuiau adesea masura pedepsirii (vezi Exod 22,4.7), la fel aici Dumnezeu il avertizeaza pe Iuda ca acea cale a nelegiuirii aleasa de ei nu-i va duce decat la o rasplatire din plin. 16:19 Doamne, taria, cetatuia si scaparea mea in ziua necazului! Neamurile vor veni la Tine de la marginile pamantului, si vor zice: Parintii nostri n-au mostenit decat minciuna, idoli deserti, care nu sunt de nici un ajutor! Scaparea mea. Profetul cultiva o nadejde si incredere cu privire la ceea ce va face Dumnezeu in viitor. Aceasta ii sugereaza o priveliste a ceea ce Domnul intentiona sa faca pentru cetatenii natiunilor straine care se vor intoarce la El (vezi p. 29, 30). LXX reda ultima parte a versetului in mod corespunzator: ,,Cat de zadarnici au fost idolii pe care si i-au facut parintii vostri, si in ei nu este nici un ajutor.” 16:20 Cum poate omul sa-si faca dumnezei, care nu sunt dumnezei? Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 16:21 De aceea iata ca le arat, de data aceasta, si-i fac sa stie puterea si taria Mea; si vor cunoaste ca Numele Meu este Domnul. Vor cunoaste. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
