11:1 Roboam, venind la Ierusalim, a strans casa lui Iuda si a lui Beniamin, o suta optzeci de mii de oameni de frunte, buni pentru razboi, ca sa lupte impotriva lui Israel si sa-l aduca iarasi sub stapanirea lui Roboam. o suta optzeci de mii de oameni de frunte, buni pentru razboi, ca sa lupte impotriva lui Israel si sa-i aduca iarasi sub stapanirea lui Roboam. Casa lui Iuda si a lui Beniamin. Semintiile lui Iuda si Beniamin compuneau acum imparatia de nord, care de obicei este numita natiunea lui Iuda. Semintia lui Beniamin fusese mai apropiata de semintia lui Efraim, dar se pare ca stabilirea capitalei la Ierusalim, la hotarul lui Beniamin, era cel putin un factor de influentare a lui Beniamin de a-si lega soarta de Iuda (vezi la 1 Regi 12,21). O suta patruzeci de mii. Aceasta este o cifra modesta si ii reprezinta probabil pe oamenii instruiti pentru razboi disponibili din cele doua semintii de nord. La data intrarii in Canaan, Iuda avea 76.500 de oameni si Beniamin 45.600 (Numeri 26,22.41), deci un total de 122.100 de barbati apti de armata. Pe vremea lui David, Iuda avea 500.000 de barbati (2 Samuel 24,9). Fortele armate ale regatului lui Iuda, asa cum sunt redate in Cronici, numarau 400.000 pe timpul lui Abia (2 Cronici 13,3), 580.000 pe timpul lui Asa (cap. 14,8) si 1.160.000 sub Iosafat (cap. 17,14-18). 11:2 Dar cuvantul Domnului a vorbit astfel lui Semaia, omul lui Dumnezeu: Semaia. Un profet din Iuda din timpul domniei lui Roboam (vezi cap. 12,5-8.15). 11:3 Vorbeste lui Roboam, fiul lui Solomon, imparatul lui Iuda, si intregului Israel din Iuda si din Beniamin. Si spune-le: Intregului Israel din Iuda. Este posibil, dar nu necesar ca sa se faca referire aici la membrii semintiilor din nord, care locuiau acum pe teritoriul lui Iuda si Beniamin (vezi la 1 Regi 12,17). 11:4 Asa vorbeste Domnul: Sa nu va suiti si sa nu faceti razboi impotriva fratilor vostri! Fiecare din voi sa se intoarca acasa, caci de la Mine s-a intamplat lucrul acesta. Ei au ascultat de cuvintele Domnului, s-au intors acasa, si nu s-au mai dus impotriva lui Ieroboam. De la Mine. Vezi la 1 Regi 12,15. Desigur ca, voia lui Dumnezeu nu era ca imparatia lui David sa se divida in doua monarhii. Voia lui Dumnezeu era ca israelitii sa umble pe caile Lui si sa continue sa creasca pana cand, prin eforturile lor misionare, sa proclame numele Lui pe tot pamantul. Dar, cand israelitii au ales propriile lor cai si L-au parasit pe Domnul, mana Lui protectoare s-a retras, iar actele de dezbinare au avut, in mod inevitabil, cale libera. Privind lucrurile din punctul acesta de vedere, divizarea imparatiei era de la Dumnezeu (vezi Ed 173-177). 11:5 Roboam a locuit la Ierusalim, si a zidit cetati intarite in Iuda. Cetati intarite. [Cetati de aparare, KJV]. Versetele 5-12 trateaza construirea de catre Roboam a cetatilor de aparare in Iuda. Informatiile acestea nu se regasesc in Regi. Cetatile amintite se afla in partea de sud si de vest a tarii, lucru care sugereaza ca ele cu fost intarite ca aparare impotriva Egiptului. Politica agresiva din timpul lui Sisac (vezi 2 Cronici 12,2-9; 1 Regi 14,25.26) era raspunzatoare de aceste masuri defensive. 11:6 A zidit Betleemul, Etamul, Tecoa, Betleemul. O cetate situata la aprox. 8 km sud de Ierusalim (vezi la Genesa 35,19). Etamul. O cetate situata la aprox. 4 km sud-vest de Betleem. Tecoa. O cetate situata la aprox. 8 km sud de Betleem (vezi 1 Cronici 2,24; 4,5; 2 Samuel 14,2.4.9; 2 Cronici 20,20; Amos 1,1). 11:7 Bet-Tur, Soco, Adulam, Bet-Tur. O cetate din regiunea deluroasa a lui Iuda (Iosua 15,58), la 6,4 km nord de Hebron. Soco. O cetate situata la aprox. 22,5 km vest-sud-vest de Betleem (vezi 2 Cronici 28,18; Iosua 15,35; 1 Samuel 17,1). Adulam. O fortareata mentionata pe vremea lui David (1 Samuel 22,1) si din nou intr-o perioada tarzie (Neemia 11,30; Mica 1,15). Adulam era la hotarul cu Sefela. 11:8 Gat, Maresa, Zif, Gat. O cetate in tinutul filistean si in mod obisnuit sub control filistean (1 Regi 2,39-41; Amos 4,2). Maresa. O cetate in Sefela (vezi Iosua 15,44). Aici l-a biruit Asa pe Zerah Etiopianul (vezi la 2 Cronici 14,9.10). Zif. O localitate in partea de sud a lui Iuda (vezi Iosua 15,24). 11:9 Adoraim, Lachis, Azeca, Adoraim. Probabil de identificat ca Dura, un sat din zona deluroasa, la aprox. 8 km vest de Hebron. Lachis. O cetate importanta din zona depresionara a lui Iuda (vezi Iosua 15,39; 2 Regi 14,19; 18,14; Mica 1,13), la aprox. 15,6 km la sud-vest de Ierusalim. Azeca. O cetate la nord est de Lachis, in Sefela lui Iuda (vezi Iosua 10,10.11; 1 Samuel 17,1; Neemia 11,30). 11:10 Torea, Aialon si Hebronul, care erau in Iuda si in Beniamin, si a facut din ele niste cetati intarite. Torea. O cetate in Dan (vezi Iosua 15,33; 19,41; Judecatori 13,2.25; 16,31; 18,2.11; Neemia 11,29). Aialon. O cetate situata la aprox. 22,4 km nord-vest de Ierusalim. La inceput fusese data lui Dan (Iosua 19,42) si a fost desemnata ca cetate levitica pentru chehatiti (Iosua 21,20.24). Hebronul. O cetate importanta situata la aprox. 30,4 km sud-sud-vest de Ierusalim (vezi Genesa 23,2; 1 Cronici 3,1; 6,55.57;11,1). 11:11 Le-a intarit, a pus in ele capitani si magazii de bucate, de untdelemn si vin. Magazii de bucate. Acestea erau nu doar cetati fortificate, ci erau prevazute si cu depozite de alimente, astfel incat sa fie pregatite sa reziste unui asediu prelungit. 11:12 A pus in fiecare din aceste cetati scuturi si sulite, si le-a facut foarte tari. Iuda si Beniamin erau ai lui. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 11:13 Preotii si Levitii, care se aflau in tot Israelul, si-au parasit locuintele si s-au dus la el; Preotii si Levitii. Izgoniti din slujbele lor, preotii si levitii au parasit regatul de nord si s-au indreptat spre sud, unde puteau participa la serviciul de inchinare al lui Iehova din Templul Lui. 11:14 caci Levitii si-au parasit tinuturile si mosiile si au venit in Iuda si la Ierusalim, pentru ca Ieroboam si fiii sai i-au impiedicat sa-si implineasca slujbele ca preoti ai Domnului. Tinuturile. [Suburbiile, KJV]. Adica pasunile din jurul cetatilor (vezi Levitic 25,34; Numeri 35,2-5.7; vezi la Iosua 14,4). Mosiile. [Posesiunile, KJV]. Compara cu Levitic 25,29-34. I-au impiedicat. [I-au alungat, KJV]. Din motive politice, Ieroboam a infiintat un serviciu religios, cu centre de cult, total deosebite de serviciul lui Iehova din Ierusalim (1 Regi 12,26-33). Astfel, el spera sa-i dezobisnuiasca pe supusii sai de atasamentul lor fata de capitala din sud. 11:15 Ieroboam a pus preoti pentru inaltimile, pentru tapii si pentru viteii pe care ii facuse. A pus preotii. Prin numirea de preoti ai lui personal, Ieroboam i-a indepartat pe leviti de slujbele lor legate de serviciul de inchinare al lui Iehova si a dat o lovitura directa ramurii levitice si tuturor oranduielilor facute sa promoveze inchinarea la Dumnezeu (vezi PK 101). Inaltimile. Dan si Betel erau cele doua centre principale de cult din regatul de nord (1 Regi 12,29-31), dar mai erau inaltimi in toata tara, unde se indeplineau ritualurile noii religii (vezi 1 Regi 13,32). Pentru tapii. [Pentru dracii, KJV]. Dumnezeu considera forma josnica a cultului idolatru drept o inchinare la demoni (vezi Deuteronom 32,17; Psalmi 106,37.38; 1 Corinteni 10,20). Politica religioasa a lui Ieroboam a deschis calea ca forme corupte de idolatrie sa fie introduse in Israel, care au degradat poporul si l-a indepartat si mai mult de Dumnezeu. 11:16 Aceia din toate semintiile lui Israel, care aveau pe inima sa caute pe Domnul, Dumnezeul lui Israel, au urmat pe Leviti la Ierusalim, ca sa jertfeasca Domnului, Dumnezeului parintilor lor. Au urmat. Adica au urmat pe preoti si pe leviti, care au mers in Iuda si la Ierusalim (v. 13.14). La Ierusalim. Acesti oameni s-au mutat in Iuda. Scopul pentru care au parasit Israelul si au venit in Iuda a fost acela de a avea ocazia sa se inchine la Ierusalim. Era politica lui Ieroboam de a impiedica deplasarea la Ierusalim in vederea inchinarii. Si pe vremea lui Asa a fost o migratie a inchinatorilor credinciosi ai lui Iehova catre regatul de nord (cap. 15,9). 11:17 Ei au dat astfel tarie imparatiei lui Iuda, si au intarit pe Roboam, fiul lui Solomon, timp de trei ani; caci trei ani au umblat in calea lui David si a lui Solomon. Au dat astfel tarie imparatiei. Afluenta de preoti si de inchinatori evlaviosi ai lui Dumnezeu in Iuda a produs, fara indoiala, o seriozitate sporita in viata religioasa a regatului de sud si a intarit forta morala a natiunii. Trei ani. Exodul inchinatorilor lui Iehova din regatul de sud s-a desfasurat pe parcursul primilor trei ani ai domniei lui Roboam, atata timp cat el a fost credincios principiilor bune (vezi cap. 12,1). 11:18 Roboam a luat de nevasta pe Mahalat, fata lui Ierimot, fiul lui David si al Abihailei, fata lui Eliab, fiul lui Isai. Ierimot. Nu este amintit nicaieri altundeva printre fiii sotiilor lui David (2 Samuel 3,2-5; 5,14-16; 1 Cronici 3,1-9; 14,4-7). Dar se poate sa fi fost fiul uneia dintre concubinele lui David (1 Cronici 3,9). Fata lui Eliab. Era probabil nepoata. Cuvantul ebraic pentru "fata" poate sa stea si pentru descendente mai departate (vezi la 1 Cronici 2,7). Fiica celui mai mare frate al lui David (1 Cronici 17,13) nu putea sa devina sotia nepotului lui David. 11:19 Ea i-a nascut fii pe: Ieus, Semaria si Zaham. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 11:20 Dupa ea, a luat pe Maaca, fata lui Absalom. Ea i-a nascut pe Abia, pe Atai, pe Ziza si pe Selomit. Fata lui Absalom. Maaca era probabil nepoata lui Absalom (vezi la v. 18), din moment ce Tamar a fost singura lui fiica (vezi la 1 Regi 15,2). 11:21 Roboam iubea pe Maaca, fata lui Absalom, mai mult decat pe toate nevestele si tiitoarele lui; caci a avut optsprezece neveste si saizeci de tiitoare, si a nascut douazeci si opt de fii si saizeci de fete. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 11:22 Roboam a dat cel dintai loc lui Abia, fiul Maachei, si l-a pus capetenie peste fratii lui, caci voia sa-l faca imparat. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 11:23 El a lucrat cu minte, imprastiind pe toti fiii sai in toate tinuturile lui Iuda si lui Beniamin, in toate cetatile intarite; le-a dat de mancare din belsug, si le-a cautat o multime de neveste. A lucrat cu minte. Dispersandu-si fiii pe tot cuprinsul lui Iuda, unde au ocupat desigur pozitii de raspundere si au exploatat interese locale afara de cele legate de tron, Roboam a sustinut cu intelepciune interesele regatului sau. Le-a cautat o multime de femei. Haremul numeros era considerat unul dintre insemnele regalitatii si ale bogatiei. Totusi era dezaprobat de Dumnezeu (Deuteronom 17,17). COMENTARIILE LUI ELLEN G. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
