18:1 SEMNUL FIAREI 18:2 Într-o viziune dată la 27 iunie 1850, îngerul care mă însoţea a spus: "Timpul este aproape sfârşit. Reflectaţi voi chipul minunat al lui Isus, aşa cum ar trebui?" Apoi atenţia mi-a fost îndreptată către pământ şi am văzut că va trebui să aibă loc o pregătire între cei care au îmbrăţişat în ultima vreme solia celui de-al treilea înger. Îngerul a spus: "Pregătiţi-vă, pregătiţi-vă, pregătiţi-vă. Va trebui să muriţi faţă de lume cum nu aţi mai murit vreodată." Am văzut că era o mare lucrare de făcut pentru ei şi numai o scurtă vreme în care să se înfăptuiască aceasta. 18:3 Apoi, am văzut că cele şapte plăgi de pe urmă aveau să fie curând revărsate peste cei care nu aveau adăpost; cu toate acestea, lumea nu le privea altfel decât ar fi privit picăturile de ploaie care ar fi urmat să cadă. Am fost apoi întărită să pot suporta priveliştea îngrozitoare a celor şapte plăgi, mânia lui Dumnezeu. Am văzut că mânia Sa era teribilă şi înspăimântătoare şi că, dacă Şi-ar fi întins mâna sau Şi-ar fi ridicat-o, în mânia Sa, locuitorii lumii ar ajunge ca şi cum n-ar fi existat vreodată sau ar 18:4 suferi de molime ucigătoare care ar veni asupra lor, şi nu ar găsi nicăieri izbăvire, ci ar fi nimiciţi de acestea. M-a cuprins groaza şi am căzut cu faţa în jos înaintea îngerului şi l-am rugat din suflet să îndepărteze priveliştea aceea, să o ascundă privirilor mele, căci era insuportabilă. Atunci mi-am dat seama, ca niciodată înainte, de importanţa faptului de a cerceta cu grijă Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu, pentru a şti cum se poate scăpa de plăgile despre care Cuvântul declară că vor cădea asupra tuturor celor nesfinţi, care se vor închina fiarei şi chipului ei şi vor primi semnul ei pe frunte sau pe mână. Era un lucru uluitor pentru mine, că oamenii puteau călca Legea lui Dumnezeu şi călca în picioare Sabatul Său sfânt, când împotriva lor stăteau asemenea avertizări şi ameninţări. 18:5 Papa a schimbat ziua de odihnă dintr-a şaptea în prima zi a săptămânii. El s-a gândit să schimbe chiar porunca dată pentru a-l face pe om să-şi aducă aminte de Creatorul său. S-a gândit să schimbe cea mai mare poruncă din Decalog şi să se facă astfel egalul lui Dumnezeu sau chiar să se înalţe mai presus de Dumnezeu. Domnul nu Se schimbă, prin urmare Legea Sa este imuabilă; dar papa s-a înălţat pe sine deasupra lui Dumnezeu, căutând să schimbe preceptele Sale eterne care reglementează sfinţenia, dreptatea şi bunătatea. El a călcat în picioare ziua sfinţită a lui Dumnezeu şi, cu de la sine putere, a pus în locul ei una din cele şase zile lucrătoare. Întreaga naţiune a urmat fiara şi oamenii Îl jefuiesc în fiecare săptămână pe Dumnezeu de timpul Său sfânt. Papa a făcut o breşă în Legea sfântă a lui Dumnezeu, dar am văzut că venise pe deplin timpul ca această spărtură să fie reparată de cei din poporul lui Dumnezeu şi să zidească iarăşi pe dărâmăturile de mai înainte. 18:6 M-am rugat înaintea îngerului ca Dumnezeu să-i salveze pe cei din poporul Său care se rătăciseră, să-i salveze de dragul îndurării Sale. Când plăgile vor începe să cadă, cei care continuă să calce Sabatul sfânt nu-şi vor mai deschide gura pentru a aduce acele scuze pe care le născocesc acum 18:7 pentru a scăpa de datoria de a-l păzi. Gurile le vor fi închise în timpul căderii plăgilor, iar marele Dătător al Legii va cere să se facă dreptate cu cei care au luat în râs Legea Sa sfântă şi au numit-o "un blestem pentru om", "mizeră" şi "schimbătoare ". Când astfel de oameni simt strânsoarea de fier a acestei Legi , aceste expresii vor apărea înaintea lor scrise cu litere de foc şi îşi vor da seama atunci de păcatul de a lua în râs acea Lege pe care Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu o numeşte "sfântă, dreaptă şi bună". 18:8 Apoi mi-a fost îndreptată atenţia către slava cerului, către comoara strânsă pentru cei credincioşi. Totul era strălucitor şi încântător. Îngerii începeau să cânte o cântare minunată, apoi încetau să cânte şi îşi scoteau cununile de pe cap şi le aruncau sclipitoare la picioarele lui Isus şi strigau cu glasuri melodioase: "Slavă, Aleluia!" M-am alăturat cântecelor lor de laudă şi cinste, adresate Mielului, şi de fiecare dată când îmi deschideam gura pentru a-L lăuda, aveam un simţământ inexprimabil provocat de slava care mă înconjura. Era încă şi mai mult, o greutate nespus de mare şi veşnică de slavă. Îngerul a spus: "Mica rămăşiţă a celor ce-L iubesc pe Dumnezeu, care păzesc poruncile Lui şi sunt credincioşi până la sfârşit se vor bucura de această slavă, vor fi mereu în prezenţa lui Isus şi vor cânta în compania îngerilor sfinţi". 18:9 Apoi, privirile mi-au fost întoarse de la slavă şi mi-a fost arătată rămăşiţa de pe pământ. Îngerul li s-a adresat: "Veţi putea evita voi ultimele şapte plăgi? Veţi merge voi în slavă şi vă veţi bucura de tot ce a pregătit Dumnezeu pentru cei ce-L iubesc şi sunt gata să sufere de dragul Lui? Dacă este aşa, trebuie să muriţi pentru a putea trăi. Pregătiţi-vă, pregătiţi-vă, pregătiţi-vă. Pregătirea voastră trebuie să fie mai profundă decât cea pe care o faceţi acum, căci vine ziua Domnului, zi fără milă, zi de mânie şi urgie aprinsă, care va preface tot pământul în pustiu şi-i va nimici pe toţi păcătoşii de pe el. Jertfiţi totul pentru Dumnezeu. Puneţi totul pe altarul lui - eul, 18:10 averea, totul ca o jertfă vie. Va fi nevoie de tot ce aveţi pentru a intra în slavă. Strângeţi-vă o comoară în ceruri, o comoară pe care hoţii nu pot s-o fure şi nici rugina s-o strice. Trebuie să fiţi părtaşi cu Hristos la suferinţele Lui aici, dacă vreţi să fiţi părtaşi cu El la slava Sa în lumea cea nouă." 18:11 Cerul va fi nespus de ieftin, dacă-l vom obţine prin suferinţă. Trebuie să ne tăgăduim eul în tot drumul nostru, să murim zilnic faţă de el, să lăsăm ca să iasă la iveală numai Isus şi să ţinem necurmat slava Sa înaintea ochilor. Am văzut că aceia care au îmbrăţişat în ultima vreme adevărul va trebui să ştie ce înseamnă să suferi de dragul lui Hristos, că vor avea de trecut prin încercări care vor fi dureroase şi tăioase pentru ca ei să poată fi curăţiţi şi învredniciţi, prin suferinţă, să primească sigiliul viului Dumnezeu, să treacă prin timpul necazului celui mare, să-L vadă pe Împărat în frumuseţea Sa şi să stea în prezenţa lui Dumnezeu şi a îngerilor curaţi, sfinţi. 18:12 Când am văzut ce trebuie să fim pentru a moşteni slava şi am văzut apoi cât de mult suferise Isus pentru a dobândi pentru noi o moştenire atât de bogată, m-am rugat să putem fi botezaţi în suferinţele lui Hristos, ca să nu ne dăm înapoi în faţa încercărilor, ci să le suportăm cu răbdare şi bucurie, ştiind ce a suferit Isus pentru ca noi să putem fi îmbogăţiţi prin sărăcia şi suferinţele Sale. Îngerul a spus: "Tăgăduiţi-vă eul; trebuie să faceţi paşi rapizi". Unii din noi au avut timpul să primească adevărul şi să înainteze pas cu pas, şi fiecare pas pe care l-am făcut ne-a dat puterea să-l facem pe următorul. Timpul este însă acum pe sfârşite şi ceea ce ne-a luat nouă ani de zile să învăţăm ei vor fi nevoiţi să înveţe în câteva luni. Vor avea, de asemenea, să se dezveţe de multe alte lucruri şi multe să le înveţe din nou. Cei care vor să nu primească semnul fiarei şi chipul ei când va fi aprobat decretul, trebuie să ia acum hotărârea de a spune: Nu, nu vom accepta instituţia fiarei. |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
