17:1 MESAGERII [Vezi Apendicele (n. ed.)] 17:2 Domnul mi-a oferit adesea o imagine a situaţiei şi nevoilor mărgăritarelor risipite, care nu au ajuns încă la lumina adevărului prezent şi mi-a arătat că solii ar trebui să-şi croiască un drum în cea mai mare grabă către aceştia, pentru a le da lumina. Mulţi, aflaţi pretutindeni în jurul nostru, nu au nevoie decât să li se îndepărteze prejudecăţile şi să le fie puse înainte dovezile din Cuvânt ale poziţiei noastre actuale şi ei vor primi cu bucurie adevărul prezent. Solii trebuie să vegheze asupra sufletelor ca unii care vor trebui să dea socoteală. Viaţa lor trebuie să fie plină de trudă şi de chin sufletesc, în timp ce asupra lor apasă greutatea scumpei, dar ades-prejudiciatei cauze a lui Hristos. Ei vor trebui să lase deoparte confortul şi interesele lumeşti şi să-şi stabilească drept prim obiectiv faptul de a face tot ce le stă în putere pentru înaintarea cauzei adevărului prezent şi salvarea sufletelor care pier. 17:3 Vor avea şi o răsplată bogată. În cununile bucuriei lor, cei care sunt salvaţi de ei şi, în final, mântuiţi vor străluci ca stelele în veci de veci. Şi, în toată veşnicia, ei se vor bucura de satisfacţia de a fi făcut ceea ce au putut pentru prezentarea adevărului în curăţia şi frumuseţea lui, astfel încât sufletele s-au îndrăgostit de el, au fost sfinţite prin el şi s-au folosit de privilegiul inestimabil de a fi făcuţi bogaţi, de a fi spălaţi în sângele Mielului şi răscumpăraţi pentru Dumnezeu. 17:4 Am văzut că păstorii ar trebui să-i consulte pe cei în care au motive să se încreadă, cei care au participat la toate soliile şi sunt neclintiţi în tot adevărul prezent - aceasta înainte de a susţine noi puncte importante despre care cred că sunt sprijinite de Biblie. Atunci păstorii vor fi într-o desăvârşită unire, şi 17:5 unitatea dintre păstori va fi simţită de biserică. Am văzut că o astfel de cale va împiedica dezbinări nefericite şi atunci nu va fi nici o primejdie ca turma preţioasă să fie despărţită şi oile împrăştiate, fără păstor. 17:6 Am văzut totodată că Dumnezeu avea soli pe care ar fi vrut să-i folosească în cauza Sa, dar care nu erau pregătiţi. Erau prea uşuratici şi superficiali pentru a exercita o influenţă bună asupra turmei şi nu simţeau povara cauzei şi valoarea sufletelor aşa cum trebuie să simtă solii lui Dumnezeu pentru a avea rezultate bune. Îngerul a spus: "Fiţi curaţi, voi care purtaţi vasele Domnului, fiţi curaţi, voi care purtaţi vasele Domnului". Ei nu pot face decât puţin bine, dacă nu sunt cu totul predaţi lui Dumnezeu şi nu simt importanţa şi solemnitatea ultimei solii de har, care este dată acum turmei risipite. Unii, care nu sunt chemaţi de Dumnezeu, sunt foarte dispuşi să meargă cu solia. Dacă însă ar simţi greutatea cauzei şi responsabilităţile unei asemenea poziţii, vor simţi nevoia de a se da înapoi şi de a zice împreună cu apostolul: "Cine este potrivit pentru aceste lucruri?" Un motiv pentru care sunt atât de dornici să meargă este acela că Dumnezeu nu a pus asupra lor greutatea cauzei. Nu toţi cei care au vestit prima şi cea de-a doua solie îngerească urmează s-o vestească pe cea de-a treia, nici chiar după ce o îmbrăţişează cu totul, căci unii s-au aflat în atâtea rătăciri şi amăgiri, încât nu vor putea decât cel mult să-şi salveze propriile suflete, iar dacă îşi asumă răspunderea de a-i călăuzi pe alţii, vor fi exact mijloacele prin care li se va provoca acestora prăbuşirea. Dar am văzut că unii, care fuseseră mai înainte peste măsură de adânciţi în fanatism, erau primii care alergau acum, înainte să-i trimită Dumnezeu, înainte de a fi curăţiţi de rătăcirile din trecut; ei hrăneau turma lui Dumnezeu cu rătăciri amestecate cu adevăr şi, dacă erau lăsaţi să meargă mai departe, turma se îmbolnăvea şi urmau tulburările şi moartea. Am văzut că aceştia trebuia să fie cernuţi din nou şi din nou, până când erau eliberaţi de toate rătăcirile pe care le credeau, 17:7 în caz contrar, ei neputând niciodată să intre în Împărăţie. Solii nu ar putea avea aceeaşi încredere, în judecata şi discernământul persoanelor care au susţinut rătăciri şi au fost cuprinşi de fanatism, pe care ar avea-o în cei care au fost în adevăr şi nu în greşeli grosolane. De asemenea, mulţi sunt prea repede dispuşi să-i trimită în câmpul misionar pe unii care abia au mărturisit credinţa în adevărul prezent, care au mult de învăţat şi de făcut înainte de a fi ei înşişi drepţi înaintea lui Dumnezeu, ca să nu mai vorbim de faptul de a le arăta altora calea. 17:8 Am văzut necesitatea ca în special solii să vegheze şi să oprească orice urmă de fanatism, ori unde l-ar vedea ridicându-se. Satana forţează intrarea din toate părţile şi, dacă nu ne păzim de el, dacă nu avem ochii deschişi pentru a-i vedea şiretlicurile şi capcanele şi dacă nu vom avea asupra noastră întreaga armătură a lui Dumnezeu, săgeţile de foc ale celor răi ne vor atinge. Există multe adevăruri preţioase în Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu, dar turma are nevoie acum de "adevărul prezent". Am văzut primejdia ca solii să fugă de punctele importante ale adevărului prezent şi să se ocupe de subiecte care nu sunt menite să aducă unitate în turmă şi să sfinţească sufletul. Satana se va folosi aici de orice avantaj posibil pentru a aduce vătămare cauzei. 17:9 Însă astfel de subiecte, cum ar fi Sanctuarul, studiat în legătură cu cele 2300 de zile, poruncile lui Dumnezeu şi credinţa lui Isus, sunt foarte potrivite pentru a explica mişcarea adventă care a trecut şi a arăta care este poziţia noastră prezentă, a întări credinţa celor care se îndoiesc şi de a oferi siguranţa unui viitor glorios. Am văzut în mod repetat că acestea erau subiectele principale de care ar trebui să se ocupe solii. 17:10 Dacă solii aleşi ai lui Dumnezeu ar aştepta până când toate obstacolele ar fi îndepărtate din calea lor, mulţi nu s-ar duce niciodată să caute oile rătăcite. Satana le va pune înainte multe obiecţii pentru a-i opri de la împlinirea datoriei. Dar ei va trebui să iasă prin credinţă, 17:11 punându-şi încrederea în Acela care i-a chemat în lucrarea Sa, şi El va deschide calea înaintea lor în măsura în care va fi pentru binele lor şi slava Sa. Isus, marele Învăţător şi Model, nu a avut unde să-Şi aşeze capul. Viaţa Sa a fost o viaţă de trudă, întristare şi suferinţă; apoi S-a dat pe Sine pentru noi. Cei care, în locul lui Hristos, imploră suflete să se împace cu Dumnezeu şi care nădăjduiesc să domnească împreună cu Hristos în slavă trebuie să se aştepte să fie părtaşi la suferinţele Sale aici. "Cei ce seamănă cu lacrimi vor secera cu cântări de veselie. Cel ce umblă plângând când aruncă sămânţa, se întoarce cu veselie când îşi strânge snopii." Psalmii 126,5.6 |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
